Tamaki's truck stopped, the soft music that filled the air in between the two, was now cut off. They were at one of the largest parks in the region. Kaoru slipped out of the truck, staring in awe at the tall pine trees. The blonde, however, had grabbed his backpack from the back seat, and started for the trails. Kaoru followed closely behind him, staring at his surroundings. He had never visited the nearby parks, only when he was just a young boy.

Tamaki grabbed a hold of the younger males' hand, quickly averting his attention to the dirt underneath him. He was hoping no one had occupied the space he had in mind. He looked around and spotted the small bridge just up ahead. He looked to Kaoru, who was busy basking in nature's glory.

"So, where are we going?" Kaoru asked, eyes averting from Tamaki's face to the ground. He was beginning to become excited, he couldn't contain his smile. They both reached the bridge, and Kaoru gently grazed his fingers along the plywood. There was a river running just below them, tall trees lined along the shore.

"We are going to one of my favourite places here, well, my only favourite place." Tamaki replied, stepping off the bridge with a jump. He held out his hand for Kaoru to take, and went back to following the dirt road. "We're actually getting closer." He started walking off-road, and down into the tree line. He waited for the honey-eyed male, who was looking like he did not want to go into the forest.

"Uh, in there?" Kaoru asked, he stepped down one, holding the blondes hand. Twigs underneath the soles of his shoes broke, he took another step down. I shouldn't have worn these pants, thought Kaoru. He stood beside Tamaki, waiting for the other male to lead the way.

"Yeah, is there something wrong?" Violet orbs shone with worry, and a glint of hope. Tamaki continued the walk, carefully watching where he set his foot down.

"No, nothing's wrong." Kaoru said, stepping into the foot prints Tamaki created. His eyes were wandering, his mouth slightly agape. He could not believe how much he missed out on until now. His views on just 'trees' were boring. When his personal driver drove by trees, he dare not to bat even an eyelash at them. But here he was, surrounded. It looked much better, much greater in person, and not through tinted glass. He definitely would not mind coming back again, and again.

"If you say so. We're almost there, I can nearly see it." Tamaki said, his strides becoming quick. They both walked passed an old, tall tree. Tamaki stopped and stared ahead of them. Kaoru looked, and was greeted with a gorgeous sight. The river stayed still and clear, you could see the fish swimming. There was a big, wide tree that overhung onto the river. It was stunning.

Tamaki walked slowly, pulling Kaoru with him. They walked until they were out of the sun and into the shade of the tree. The blonde slid his backpack off and started to pull out the items. The first thing he pulled out was a light blue blanket.

"You can sit, now." He said, and Kaoru did. The blanket was soft to the touch, and he watched Tamaki pull out Tupperware, filled with a few sandwiches and pastries. He set them down in the middle, and pulled out a six case of water bottles. Kaoru was overjoyed. Staring in admiration at Tamaki, thankful that they were a thing. Tamaki looked up at him, their stares were longing. Kaoru's smile couldn't get any bigger. "Do I have something on my face?" Tamaki asked, he was enveloped in a warm hug.

"No." Kaoru's voice was muffled against Tamaki's shirt. "This is really great, and just…amazing. Thank you." He continued. This couldn't get any better. If it did, he would be extremely surprised, and would probably faint. He chuckled, and pulled himself back. He gave a small kiss to the blondes' cheek. He stared down at the food.

"Well, uh, you can pick something you'd like. I made quite a few variations of sandwiches." Tamaki grabbed one of the water bottles, and opened it. He took a big gulp, "Ah, refreshing." He muttered, and grabbed one of the sandwiches covered in saran wrap. Kaoru grabbed a sandwich, inspecting its contents. He uncovered it and took a bit. His mouth exploded with different flavours. Sweet, spicy. There was a hint of garlic. Tamaki stared, waiting for a reaction.

"It looks crunchy…but it's soft." Kaoru stated. "These are great, Tamaki, what's in it?" Tamaki winked, and ate his sandwich. Kaoru sighed, smiling, and took another bite. Each bite was different.

They ate mostly in silence, shared occasional chatter. They shared a single cake, leaning onto each other's sides. Kaoru rest his head onto Tamaki's shoulder, enjoying the sounds and displays of nature, and just being near his favourite person in the world. Kaoru intertwined their fingers, grazing at the soft skin.

"I am so full…" Kaoru muttered, he felt like he would burst if he moved an inch. Tamaki's smooth chuckled escaped into the air.

"Tell me about your parents." Tamaki asked, "What are they like?" His voice was soft.

"My mother owns her own company. She is a fashion designer, she taught Hikaru and me a lot about fashion. She is outgoing, and likes to tease Hika and me a lot." Kaoru laughed lightly, reminiscing fond memories. "She is always busy, though. But, I know she loves us a lot more than we know. My father, he works for some computer software thing. He's like a developer. I don't get much of the things he teaches us, but Hikaru does. But we're not that really interested." Kaoru shrugged it off.

"Huh, that is really cool. My dad is actually the chairman at your school." Tamaki stated, Kaoru's eyes bugged out, staring in disbelief at Tamaki.

"Are you serious? He is your dad? Why aren't you going to school there? Don't you get some sort of family discount?" Kaoru asked, bewildered at this sudden news.

"I don't know, I just don't want to go there. It's really great and all, I went there for my first year. I did not like the uniforms." He sighed, "Sure, it's the most prestigious school in Tokyo, but it's just not where I want to graduate. Everybody I met there, were not the people I wanted to make friends with." Kaoru nodded, "Also, my dad expects way too much of me. He expects that I take over his business at Suoh Enterprises. That isn't where I want to spend the rest of my life. I want to be free, you know?" He stared down at Kaoru.

"Yeah, I know."

Heh...hi.
