I was shocked by my actions until I heard Kia's moan and then starting to kiss me back. My head was reeling from the kiss. It felt good. I kept our lips together as I rolled on top of her, I lay my hands on either side of her head. I started to run hand down the length of her. This must have distracted Kia from the kiss as she suddenly stopped and looked up at me shocked, she scuttled back further away from me. I jumped from the bed, and started pacing.

"I'm so sorry." I said, looking at her as I paced.

"Why did you do it?" Kia asked, she looked even more worried.

"The only reason I can think of right now is that I'm utterly stupid." I said slamming my fist in my palm.

"I'm stupid too." Kia replied. "I kissed you back."

"Why did you?" I asked curiously, stopping mid pace.

"You're a good kisser." Kia said, with a shrug.

I smiled and nearly burst out laughing. It was such a Kia answer.

"You were stressed, I can understand." Kia said, standing up. "I'm basically a goddess, how could you possibly not want to kiss me?"

I knew she was trying to make me feel better by making it a lighthearted matter but I still felt bad.

"I'm sorry." I said again.

"Don't be." Kia said. "It was a good kiss."

"We're still friends?" I asked.

"Vi, we'll always be friends." Kia said, walking toward me. "No matter what stupid things you do. No matter how many times you suddenly kiss me with no warning."

I smiled, chuckling softly.

"Do you wanna stop?" Kia asked, leaning on her dresser.

"I can't." I replied, sighing. "My brother, remember. It isn't just about soccer. I'm trying to keep his ass out of trouble until he comes back."

"What you gonna do?"

"I really don't know. It was all about soccer and saving Sebastian's ass when I went in, but now it is so much more complicated." I sat down on the bed. "I was so stupid, completely idiotic to get even remotely involved with Olivia. Then I fooled myself for two weeks that it's fine. Why? Why am I so stupid? I hurt her, Kia. I really hurt her."

"You should tell her." Kia said patiently, sitting next to me. "I'm sure you can trust her."

"She said she loved me." I said softly, Kia smiled and didn't look at all surprised by this revelation.

"How do you feel about her?" Kia asked, I looked down at my feet. "You love her?"

"Yes." I admitted to her and to myself out loud. "It doesn't matter though."

"I think it matters a whole lot."

"No it doesn't matter." I stood up again and striding towards the window. "She isn't in love with me, she's in love with Sebastian."

"You are being really stupid lately aren't you." Kia said angrily.

"Excuse me?" I looked toward her.

"You are not fucking excused!" Kia stood up and started wagging a finger at me. "You are such an idiot. Olivia didn't fall in love with Sebastian, she fell in love with the person - it doesn't matter if it's a boy or girl."

"Don't give me that shit." I said rolling eyes. "You think that she isn't going to care, if I told her that she'd been necking with a girl and not a boy? You're fucking delusional."

"Vi, people can't help who they fall for. Your personality is exactly the same in your Sebastian garb, it's Viola character that comes out. You haven't been faking that. It's that she fell in love with." Kia argued. "I only met her once but she didn't seem to be a shallow girl who only relied on looks. I mean if she did then she would be with Duke but she didn't want to be. She wanted to be with you and she went to lengths to get you to notice her. A girl does not do that shit for a good looking boy. They go to those lengths for a person who they have such an affinity with that they can't help pursuing them."

Kia stopped. I shook my head, still unconvinced.

"If I tell her, she won't ever forgive me. I wouldn't be able to live with that."

"So your rather live with not ever knowing. Sure she'll be upset but that's bound to happen, after that, you don't know."

"She isn't a lesbian." I argued back.

"Neither were you until you met her. Also, it has nothing to do with being a lesbian or not."

"I think the fact that I want to be with a girl, has a lot to do with her being a lesbian."

"No it doesn't, she said she loves you." Kia argued. "Do you think sexuality really matters when it comes to love?"

"I didn't know you were so corny." I said changing the subject.

"Shut up." Kia said, walking towards me. "Do you love her?"

I didn't even hesitate as I answered in the affirmative.

"Do you want to be with her."

"Yes, but-"

"Do you want to kiss her again?"

"Of course I do, but-"

"Then you get you ass out of here and get it back to campus and go fucking tell her the truth, so you have that chance!" Kia shouted.

I was about to answer when Kia's mother walked into the room.

"What is all the yelling about?" Sandra asked, she looked bleary eyed in her dressing gown. "Hey Viola."

"Hey." I said with a smile.

"Sorry mum, just telling Vi what to do." Kia said, walking towards her and kissing her cheek. "Sorry for waking you up, go back to bed."

"You telling people what to do, why am I not surprised." Sandra said. "Well keep it down low whilst you're doing so, you father and I have an early morning tomorrow."

"Sure. Goodnight." Kia said, softly pushing her mum out the room, she turned back to me. "Are you still here?"

I looked at her and knew she was right. I nodded.

"I'm outta here." I walked passed her. "Wish me luck."

"Good luck!" Kia shouted, clapping her hands as I ran down the stairs toward the front door.

"Kia!" Sandra shouted from her room.

"Sorry." Kia said with a giggle.
