First Jones

Indiana was sitting in his large armchair and not-so-eagerly anticipated the arrival of one of the only two people he feared (the first was Marion, though he would never admit that).

He jumped when a few sharp knocks in quick succession echoed through the house originating from the door. He stood up and almost jogged to the door. He stood in front of it bracing himself and opened it.

There stood his father with his thinning hair and he surprisingly had a smile on his face.

"Junior!" he said in his Scottish accent, "Good to see you again boy."

"Hi dad." Indiana replied and allowed his father to pass.

He swallowed and showed Henry Jones Sr. to the dining room and the table almost groaning under all the food stacked on it. Marion was standing next to the doorway and greeted the professor warmly before excusing herself. Both the Joneses took a seat and waited for Marion. Until Attila the Professor asked the dreaded question.

"What is Marion doing here?"

"Dad, we married a few months ago." Indiana reluctantly answered his father. The Professor gaped at him.

"Why wasn't I invited?"

"You were on an expedition."

"So?"

"Listen Dad...we have a son..." Indiana trailed off just as Marion with Mutt in tow entered the room. The eldest Jones stared at Mutt and Mutt stared back, after a while he asked his father curiously:

"Who's this?"
