Prompt Song : Sunday Morning

Sunday morning, praise the dawning
It's just a restless feeling by my side
Early dawning, Sunday morning
It's all the streets you crossed, not so long ago

He never really likes to sleep in. You never did understand how a human being wouldn't love to oversleep every morning if he doesn't have to get up to go to school or at work. There is nothing on earth that you like more than sleeping apart than eating. Still that man was a mystery to you, waking up with the sun, raising like a blond dawning and barely sleeping at night to save strangers. But once he told you the last night he slept like a baby, the last time he ever remember dreaming, was the night his butler waited for him to wake up to tell him his parents wouldn't come back. Ever. Heartbreaking. It was that moment you felt it for the first time, this flutter in your chest. You thought about all the streets your young feet have crossed and you knew at once that they won't cross any other where that man wouldn't stand next to you. He's got all of you, wanted it or not. He shouldn't be afraid to wake up in the morning. He never again should wake up all alone. So, now, that you're here, next to him you'll let him oversleep, watching his peaceful and beautiful face warmed by the sunshine until he wake up under your protective and warm eyes. This is the most beautiful present he could get you for Christmas. Him. All of him.

"Sunday Morning" by Velvet UndergourndLyricsSunday morning, praise the dawning
It's just a restless feeling by my side
Early dawning, Sunday morning
It's just the wasted years so close behind

Sunday morning

Watch out, the world's behind you
There's always someone around you who will call
It's nothing at all

Sunday morning and I'm falling
I've got a feeling I don't want to know
Early dawning, Sunday morning
It's all the streets you crossed, not so long ago

Watch out, the world's behind you
There's always someone around you who will call
It's nothing at all

Watch out, the world's behind you
There's always someone around you who will call
It's nothing at all
