Teresa Sohma made conversation pleasantly with those around her. Well, as pleasantly as she could with Akito on her right. The zodiac dance was over and the table she was at consisted of the zodiac members, minus Kyo, of course.
As the night progressed Teresa could only think of what she had seen earlier. Akito with Tohru; she was snapped out of her thoughts as Akito spoke to another guest. She smiled lightly at the mention of her name and nodded before continuing eating.
The meal was over and everyone had gone outside to say their 'goodbyes.' As usual, Akito and Teresa were there nodding to everyone. "Akito," the two looked to see Hatori walking over.
"What is it Hatori?" Akito asked coolly.
"I can take Teresa home," he said looking at Teresa who nodded.
"In a moment, the raven and I have something to be discussed." Akito grabbed her wrist and pulled her with him, eventually letting go knowing she'd fall in step with him.
Once in his room, "You will speak of what you say to nobody."
"Yes, Akito. But, what did I see exactly?" she was curious know, and fearful of where her question would lead."
In moments Akito had her pinned to the wall, "Let's see." He placed a rough kiss on her mouth and Teresa was swallowed in it. He pulled her away and left to his room. Teresa sighed and wiped her lips with the back of her hand. Fearing any guests still in the house Teresa took the doors out to the garden and met Hatori there.
"You alright?" Hatori asked seeing her come out.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Teresa quietly followed Hatori through the empty party grounds. Hatori cast a worried glance toward Teresa and sighed. She wasn't telling him something, and she could easily be hurt by it.
Hatori pulled up in front of the house and watched as Teresa looked at the horizon. It was about 4 in the morning and both Sohma's were tired after the party. "Teresa I can walk you up the house if you'd like."
"No thanks Hatori, I can do it myself," Teresa said and got out of the car. Teresa shut the door behind her and removed her painfully high heels. Silently she slipped upstairs and into the room she shared with Tohru. Teresa unzipped her dress and hung it on a hanger. She grabbed a t-shirt and shorts and pulled them on.
Teresa turned around and saw Tohru already asleep on the far side of the bed. Smiling, Teresa went into the bathroom to remove her makeup. Teresa now saw a not overly pretty girl- just plain- nothing more, nothing less. She then slipped into her shared bed and closed her eyes, cherishing the 4 or so hours of sleep she would get.
