It's been a long time. I love all of the follower messages I get and I appologize for the wait. The long, long, LONG wait. I love you!

Teresa leaned against the support beam on the back porch of Shigure's house. She had been back for about a week now and was recovering nicely. "Teresa," Teresa turned a bit and saw Tohru standing in the door way. "Should you be outside, I mean what If you catch cold?"

Teresa sighed and watched as her breath condensed in the air. "I'll be fine." Tohru had been constantly worried about her, and Teresa was fed up with it. Teresa heard the shuffling feet as the over-worried brunette went back inside.

She had been planning all week. Memories of smiles and loving arms had plagued her all week. Teresa crumpled her mother's recent letter, feeling the paper cut on her palm burn within her. She would do something. She had to take herself from this sadness and all of this pain. She had to fulfill this small mission.

Teresa shuffled through the hallway, eyes on her feet, flanked by Hatsuharu and Kyo. "Hey, Teresa!" Momiji ran to Teresa and stopped before her for a moment. "Are you okay? I heard something happened. Why you?!" Momiji broke down sobbing and wrapped his arms around her middle.

Teresa gave him a small smile, "Momiji, I'm alright. Promise."

The bunny sniffed and wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. Teresa ruffled his hair for a moment. "Haru, want to come eat with me?"

"Yeah," his voice was soft, and he led her out to the grounds.

Teresa leaned back on Haru's chest, and absentmindedly fiddled with a button on his shirt. "Haru? What would you think if I said I was leaving again?"

Haru sat up and Teresa barely had time to stop her head from hitting the ground. "No!"

Teresa put two hands up, hoping to calm him down. "Haru, I'm still thinking about it. And it'd be for Kisa."

Haru pulled off a small pout, and the Teresa sighed. "Hatsuharu." Haru looked towards her. Her head was down and pain was in her eyes. She was miserable here.

"I can't stand it," her voice was barely a whisper. "I can't stay here any longer. I can't-" her voice stopped in a choking sob and Teresa sighed to compose herself. "I don't want to fall for him. The longer I stay, the more I lie to myself thinking I love him."

Her fingers picked at the grass, "Love who, Teresa?" Haru placed a hand on her shoulder, and held her firmly.

"Akito," the word was a whisper. Haru tensed and Teresa jumped from his grip, rubbing her gashed, and not bruised, shoulder.

Haru instantly regretted that, "Tree, I'm sorry." His touch became gentle as he traced circles on her hand. Teresa sat with her hand slightly in her lap, enveloped in his and he sat before her.

She nodded. "That's the curse of the raven. To give the family head love. To be his…" But her words were never finished. Haru had claimed her lips with his own. Teresa did not fight as she did when Akito kissed her, but gave him all of her emotions.

Haru felt the sadness and brokenness of her. He was suddenly not only kissed her, but giving her his support and his love. They were no longer separated by the curse; it became nothing. Worries melted from them both. Time and space opened for the two, and they were swallowed in it.

"Teresa," Haru lay his forehead against hers. "I love you." His voice was heavy as he understood what she would soon do.

Teresa cupped his face in her hands and looked him, "I know." she placed one more kiss on his mouth. "Come on." She gathered her bag and bento before making her way towards the school.
