Chapter 5:

BPOV:

I woke up at 7:00 the next morning and waited for the sickness to overcome me once again. Not even five minutes later I am wrenching over the toilet, I don't think I will ever get used to this. Edward soon walked into the bathroom to comfort me while I threw up repeatedly in the toilet. After 15 minutes of that I was finally finished. I got up with the help of Edward and walked over to the sink to brush my teeth.

"I really hate this." I whined, looking at Edward through the bathroom mirror.

"I know love but think what we get out of it, a beautiful baby." He responded.

I began to tear up at the way he comforted me.

"Love, what's wrong? Was it something I said?" He asked worriedly.

"No, no nothing like that, you're just so sweet. That and the hormones." I said with a laugh.

"I guess I'll have to get used to those won't I love?" Edward said with a grin.

I smiled at him and shook my head. We walked out of the bathroom together and got ready for the day. I walked into our closet and picked out my favorite dark wash jeans and a vintage Beatles shirt. I brought out of the closet and set it on the bed. When I looked up I noticed that Edward was already dressed in a very similar outfit. He was wearing dark jeans that should be illegal the way they looked so good, and a vintage Pink Floyd shirt. Edward sat on the bed and waited for me to get dressed.

"Great minds think a like I guess." He said, after I had slipped the shirt on.

I smirked at him and started to pull my jeans on. I tied to button them and button barely buttoned.

"Edward my jeans don't fit anymore." I sighed exasperated.

"It's ok just wear those for today and we can go out and buy some maternity clothes. We have nothing else planned for today." He said coming over to grab my hand.

I looked up at him and said, "Yeah I think that would be perfect." He leaned down and captured my lips with his is a chaste kiss.

We walked downstairs into the kitchen. I quickly took my vitamins and Edward and I grabbed a cereal bar. We went to the living room and grabbed our shoes that were resting by the door. After we laced up our matching chucks, we headed out the door toward Edward's Volvo. Once inside I opened my cereal bar and began consuming it.

"You know you should really eat more than that if our little squirt is going to get strong and healthy." Edward said in a chastising tone.

I cocked an eyebrow at Edward. "Squirt?" I questioned him.

"Well yeah. I mean we don't know what squirt is yet so I thought it was a good neutral term." He explained.

"I think you might be right." I looked over at him and smiled. He was still able to take my breath away. He was always so gorgeous. I know men aren't supposed to be beautiful but Edward truly was, there was not one blemish on his marble- looking face.

We soon pulled up to the shopping center in Port Angeles and of course, Edward opened the door for me. We entwined our fingers together and headed into the maternity store. I normally despised shopping but with Edward I loved the experience. I think Edward could make any experience enjoyable.

I tried on countless tops, pants, and dresses modeling them all for Edward. He seemed to enjoy the little fashion show I was giving him. After picking the clothes that I wanted Edward walked up to the cashier and paid for the items.

EPOV:

Bella looked absolutely gorgeous in everything that she tried on today. It took all the self-restraint I had not to take her right there in the dressing room.

Once we walked out of the maternity store Bella spotted a baby boutique so we decided to look around for a bit. As soon as we walked in the store Bella immediately zoned in on the clothes for baby boys. She walked over to all the cute little clothes and started sifting through them.

"I don't know why you are looking at these clothes love" I said in a teasing tone. "Our little squirt is a little girl."

She looked at me like I had sprouted a second head. "Are you crazy? Our little boy is in here." She said.

"How do you know? There could be a beautiful little girl in there that looks exactly like her mother." I said looking at her.

"Have you never heard of mother's intuition?" She asked.

"Yes, but in this case its father's intuition. I just know that my little girl is in there." I said with conviction.

"I guess we will just have to wait next month to see that I'm right." She said.

I just nodded my head. Bella continued to look through all of the blue outfits and even picked out a pretty good amount to buy. She must really think that this baby is going to be a boy. I sure hope this store lets you get refunds because we are having a girl.

Bella started to gravitate toward the cribs and stopped in front of a beautiful and ornate white one. It would be great for a little girl or if she turned out to be the little boy Bella wants.

"Oh Edward, we need to get this one! It would be perfect for him." Bella said excitedly.

"It would be really good for her and it has great safety reviews." I said looking over the information on the tag. I quickly wrote down the number to order it at the front desk.

In the next aisle to the cribs were the car seats. Bella picked one of those out as well. It was gender neutral and had green, brown, and white circles all over it. I wrote that number down on the piece of paper next to the cribs number.

We walked up to the check-out and purchased all of the clothes and ordered the crib and car seat. They would be delivered to our house sometime next week. I grabbed Bella's hand and we walked back out to my car. I opened the door for her and shut it behind her once she has seated inside.

I got in and started the drive back to our house. It seemed like no time at all and we pulled into the driveway. Once we got inside Bella took the clothes up to the room we had designated as the nursery. It was right across the hall from our bedroom. While she was upstairs doing that I decided to start dinner.

I fixed tacos—Bella's favorite. I had just put the finishing touches on the meal when I felt to arms wrap around my waist.

"Mmm, you fixed my favorite." Bella said as she unwrapped her arms from around my waist and started to fix her plate.

After we had both fixed our plates he sat down at the table to eat.

"We still haven't told out families about the baby yet." Bella said.

"We can invite them over for a dinner tomorrow if you want to." I suggested.

"That would be good. I think they will be excited." She said.

"They will be very happy about their first granddaughter."

"I think you mean grandson." She said giving me a glare.

And so it begins…

A/N: Don't forget to review. I'll have a poll up for the gender so go vote for that. It will ultimately be my decision but your opinions might sway me.
