Love for the Angel of Rock Chapter 16: Starting Up Again, a twilight fanfic

Edward's POV

After our weekend of bliss, we were now back home. As soon as we had walked in the door Bella and I were happy to be home. Our married life was great, not once had we fought... well except for that one time where we fought about what to have for dinner once. After getting everything unpacked and put away I went into the kitchen to make some sandwiches for lunch while Bella ran out to get the mail. When she entered the house again I just placed the sandwiches on the breakfast bar as we sorted through our mail. "Bills, Bills, Checks, and a package?" She said confused about what we got a package for. I gestured for me to please see the box.

She handed it to me and I carefully opened it. I know it's a paranoid of me, but I have seen those tv shows where people are sent a package by a fan and inside there is a bomb. Slowly I opened it and inside there was an envelope and a DVD. "Bella, there is a DVD and an envelope." I informed her. Opening the envelope I smiled, they were our wedding photos. I decided to set the DVD and envelope over on the coffee table for after we finished our meal.

"Hmm.. I wonder what's in the envelope." Bella said, I smirked to myself. She would be so happy to see those photos. I then got to thinking that it was an awesome thing that we were given picture frames so we could probably put one or two in a frame and the rest in a photo album. Bella and I were quick to finish our meals and sit down on the couch. Immediately I picked up the envelope and set down the twenty different photos upside down on the coffee table. I went to flip one and once I did Bella gasped before she flipped over all the other photos. I smiled at all the photos and looked at Bella.

"Here, hold on one moment." I got up from the couch and left to grab three picture frames. "Which ones should we put in here?" In the twenty photos there were ones of us standing together, cutting the cake, our first dance, the garter, us at the Altar, and one of us before we left for our honeymoon. She smiled at me and picked up three photos.

"We should put these three in those." She handed me the photos and I smiled at the ones she chose. One of them was when we were feeding the cake to each other well... really smashing it in each other's faces. The second one was of our husband and wife photo, and the third was of our first husband-wife dance.

"I agree. These are perfect." After slipping them in the frames I put them on the wall in our living room and grabbed the one of us before leaving for our honeymoon and put it in another small picture frame for our dresser. On my way out I grabbed the photo album we had and we glued the photos in. After finishing that I looked at the DVD on the table. There was no text to say what it was or anything. "Well... let's see what this is." I walked to the DVD player and popped it in before sitting back down with Bella. Immediately a text screen came up that read, "Edward and Bella's Wedding." Her and I looked at each other and smiled. This is when a video of Bella walking down the aisle came into the screen. Bella smiled as well as I as we watched each other join hands and listen to our vows. "I will never forget that day." I said.

"Neither will I. It was so special." The video then went to a quick photo slide show of the gazebo, the flowers, etc. This is when a video came on of Bella and I cutting the cake and smashing it in each others face's causing Bella and I to crack up in laughter, especially when Bella got me back by throwing the cake at my hair and face. After that clip there was a quick slideshow of the cake, and people with thumbs up eating it. Then next clip that came up was Bella and I's first dance, dancing to May I by Trading Yesterday. (I greatly suggest listening to that song. It's such a romantic song!)

One finished with that clip as well a couple photos came up of Bella with family, friends, and guests, and myself with family, friends, and, Guests and well just basically the guests. But the next thing that came up that surprised both Bella and I was a series of video clips of our family and friends saying a message to us. The first video was of Carlisle, Esme, and Charlie.

Carlisle: Son, Bella, I am so happy for you and proud of you. And Bella I am so happy to have you as my new daughter. You are sweet and I don't believe our son could have found a better girl."

Esme: I agree with Carlisle. Bella I'm happy to have you as my daughter and I can't wait to do things with you like cooking, designing, baking, gardening, and other things. I hope you enjoy your honeymoon."

Charlie: Bella, you are my little girl in my eyes and always will be. I've gotta admit. It was hard, officially giving you away. But I know that you have your life to live and I hope it's full of amazing things. I believe that if your mother could've been here she would be in tears of happiness, hugging you as close to her as possible. As hard as it is for me to say, have fun on your honeymoon and your brothers and I will be waiting to see and hear from you. I love you Bells."

I paused the DVD. Bella smiled and looked at me as I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the crown of her head, hugging her close. "You alright?" I asked, wiping a lone tear from her cheek. She looked at me and nodded. "You know, your father was right. If she was here, she would be so proud of you. Not just because of you and I getting married, but also with everything you have done." She smiled at me.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." I responded with a kiss on her cheek. "Now, ready to finish this?"

"Yeah." When I pressed play the video ended with a photo slide show of us with our parents, two of them with us as babies with Bella's mom and charlie when she was born, and me with my biological parents as well as one with me when Carlisle and Esme took me in. The next video had Bella's brothers and cousins.

Seth: Wow Bells! Awesome. I'm so happy for you. I can't for you to get back here from your honeymoon. I want to say congratulations. I know you and Edward will be happy forevah!" Bella and I laughed Seth's chipper attitude.

Sam: Congratulations Bella. And Edward, please take good care of my little sister. As long as you can do that I'll be completely fine with you. Which you already know I am."

Paul, Quil, Jared, Jacob, and Embry: Yeah! Congrats guys!" Once again Bella and I were laughing. The next videos had my brothers with Rosalie and Alice.

Emmet: Yo bro. I'm so proud of you. No longer a virgin!" Oh how little did he know we had done it a couple times before getting married. Rosalie lightly smacked his shoulder."Anyways, congratulations guys. We can't wait to see you and for you to tell us all about your adventures on your honeymoon in Fiji. Emmet and Rosalie: We love you! See you soon.

Alice: Bella, you have been like a sister to me and it makes me happy to see you so happy. I can't wait for you to come home so we can talk about all the fun things in Fiji. I love you Edward as well and so does Jasper."

Jasper: Congratulations Edward and Bella. I love you both and can't wait to see ya both." The end of the video was playing Kat Spencer's song "My dreams" as it showed one last photo of Bella and I before saying, "Mr. and Mrs. Cullen." And showed our wedding invitation before ending. I looked at Bella, a smile on both of our faces before we immediately touched our lips together, tangling our fingers in each other's hair.

"That was so sweet." Bella said as we relaxed on the couch. "Would you like to take a nap with me Edward so we are well-rested for the concert and the after party?" I nodded and picked her up into my arms, carrying her to our bedroom before laying next to each other, wrapping my arms around her waist.

I awoke from my nap to the sound of the shower running, Bella not in bed, and her show outfit spread out on the bed. I was excited because she hadn't performed in a while so this was going to be exciting for me. When she came out of the shower she walked out in nothing but a towel. Her beautiful, smooth, fair skin greeting me. She walked towards the closet, grabbed her house robe, dropped her towel for me to see her bare skin. My breath hitched until she put on her robe, grabbed her hair dryer and other hair tools, walked back into the bathroom with the door open and began working on her hair. First drying it, putting it in beach waves, and windning small, fake, white flowers into her hair.

No matter how much of a pervert this made me feel like, I watched her put on her outfit. She was wearing a black and white, bronze button-up corset, black leather leggings, two inch black heels and she began to put in her gauges and started on her make-up. Doing her usual show makeup of black eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and black mascara and dark red and brown infused lipgloss. She looked so amazing that I wanted to take her right then and there, but unfortunately we were due for a show. She turned and smiled at me, giving me a quick kiss on the cheek. "You ready babe?"

"Yes, let's get going. Can't start the show without the lead."

"No we can't. But are you ready for your song tonight?" Oh yes, that's right. I had been asked if I could do a song in the concert. The group helped me memorize my notes and the way to sing it before Bella and I's wedding. And I had a song to sing tonight. Bella had wrote it and was originally going to ask Sam if he could sing it, but he backed down. I sat in the passenger seat, memorizing my song and thinking about singing on stage with people.

When we arrived everyone got excited and pulled us all into a hug. Even Bella and I's parents were here. We didn't get much time and Bella dragged me into a dressing room, tossing a pair of leather pants at me. "We're going to get you ready for the show. Put those on and could you please put on this ring and necklace?" I looked down at my hands to see I had been given a ring that all the men in the band wore a dragon head with green eyes. And my necklace was dog-tags with the band name on them. I smiled and nodded, changing. I walked over to the mirror. I was shirtless my six pack showing. Oddly for me I didn't grow hair on my chest so that wouldn't be a problem.

"What do you think love?" I asked turning to look at me, her eyes wandering hungrily up and down my body.

"You're turning me on Edward." She said laughing as she led me to a chair. She then added some eyeliner on me and I put in a pair of pitch-black gauges. "Yes, I know exactly what we will be doing tonight. You look so hot... we might just have to cosplay before hand." She teased.

"You look so sexy I'm having trouble not taking you right now." I said, my voice slightly raspy. She smiled.

"Ok... well one more perfect touch." She took a contour makeup and a brush, defining my muscles on my chest and back. She pulled back and ruffled my hair a little. "You're perfect. I'm going to have fun with you later. Now come on."

As soon as we got onto the stage we had to immediately take our places, I was asked to wait where the audience couldn't see me yet so I would surprise them with my appearance. Bella and them were all ready and Bella looked like a sex goddess when she flipped her hair to the side. "Hello everyone!" Her voice was raspy and sexy as well. I was smiling. "Welcome, thank you for coming. So first off we will perform a song entitled Burn."

The crowd went insane, cheering, shouting, clapping, wolf-whistling. I smiled and applauded her from off stage. She was so amazing, and I was the one she chose. I was grateful she had. "Thank you all for your applause. Up next is I Belong to You which will be performed by my brother Jacob." I smiled and gave Jacob a thumbs up when he looked my direction, making him smile as he began to perform. I was giving him big credits because he learned how to sing the foreign words in the song. People cheered and screamed, "YOU'RE SO HOT!" We even heard some men scream that which made Jacob blush. She thanked everyone before handing Bella back her microphone. "How awesome is he! Ok, up next is All I Need. Enjoy!"

I couldn't help but think how hot Bella was at the moment. Maybe if I could keep my voice slightly raspy the song would sound good, so kind of embarrassingly I kept me perverted thoughts with me. And I thanked god that I was wearing a cover on that area that way nothing embarrassing would be noticed by the crowd.

"Thank you everyone!" She said, breathing, her voice more raspy than usual. "So everyone! I have a special treat for you. Come on out Edward!" I yelled. None of Bella's brothers or friends had seen me shirtless. Neither had my parents since before I started earning my muscle. The crowd erupted when they saw me. I looked around on the stage to see Bella's family and friends and my brothers and parents eyes wide open. "This man here is my husband Edward. And our surprise is he is going to perform. So enjoy!" Bella winked, kissed my cheek and sat next to Laurent on his piano bench. I was so nervous that the nerves in my body were shaking. But to try to calm me I looked at Bella to find her smiling at me. And it helped with my raspy voice because her smile was one of those mischievous smiles she had gave me during our honeymoon.

"Hello." I said, my voice was deep, and coated in lust right now. I'm sure everyone thought it was an act... except for my wife though. I smiled. "This song is entitled Lola Montez. Enjoy!"

We all took off of the stage and into backstage. "OH GOSH MY EDWARD!" Bella cheered as she hopped into my arms, wrapping her arms and legs around me. "That was amazing!"

"Thanks." I said. I looked around, getting, "that was awesome," from everyone. I looked over towards Laurent. "Laurent, you alright?" Everyone heard me say this and looked at him.

"Yeah... it's just... I want to go to college to study fashion design. So that means I would have to drop being in the band." We were all shocked. But Bella smiled and walked up to him.

"If you want to go to school, follow your dreams. We won't be mad. You're my friend." She said, hugging him. He hugged her back and smiled.

"And if I graduate and start my business I could make the outfits for your band performances." Bella smiled.

"Thank sounds awesome."

"And for if the band ever goes to a awards ceremony, I could make those dresses, and when ever Alice and Rosalie and Leah get married their dresses... I could just go on and on." Bella giggled.

"And we'll be hoping that you make it good. Can you promise me though that you will keep in contact?" Laurent nodded his head immediately.

"Of course. I saved you all those years ago and have been friends since. And I will always be your friend. Just contact me whatever happens. I'm going to move in with my aunt in Europe so I can study there. So... thanks for all this." Bella nodded with a smile.

"Good-Bye." Laurent left and everyone had a smile one their face.

"This kind of sucks though... who's going to take his place?" Seth asked. Bella turned around with a smile.

"I think I know the perfect guy for the job." She said, taking my hand. "Edward, would you like to be part of us?" A warmth spread throughout.

"I would love to." She moved her arms around my neck and kissed me.

"Welcome to Star Dusk."
