Love for the Angel of Rock Chapter 18: Flipped, a twilight fanfic

Note: I know I said I needed two reviews before posting this chappie, but I couldn't help myself. I had to load this one!

Edward's POV

I awoke, the sun in my face and happiness in my soul. I looked around and before me was my beautiful wife. Her face was a peaceful as an angel's and her body as beautiful as... I don't think there is a beauty that could top hers. I didn't want to move until she woke, that way I could kiss her before doing or normal daily routine. I laid here, thinking about last night. She wanted to be the mother of our future offspring. I couldn't contain the joy I felt then and there so I displayed it in our personal love affair last night.

I was shaken out of my thoughts by a slightly movement, "Good Morning Edward. How are you this morning?"

"I am well, actually way better than well. How about you?" She smiled down at me.

"I am more than ecstatic this morning. I'm happy with our decision last night." I nodded, and kissed her forehead.

"Me too. I just can't wait until we actually conceive." She smiled and hugged me close before slowly scooting off of the bed and headed to the bathroom. This was how or morning were usually now since we had got married. She would shower, I would make breakfast, my choice, eat with her, jump in the shower, hang out eat lunch, go out for a walk and work in the garden, eat dinner and then the rest of the night depended on the mood we were in.

With haste I made my way to the kitchen and began making breakfast, pancakes with whipped cream and sugared strawberries. I set her coffee and plate down next to mine just as she made her descent down the hallway from our room. She sighed happily as she wrapped her arms around me, kissing my cheek before sitting next to me.

"Edward, this looks fantastic." She took a bite and moaned happily, "and tastes amazing as well." I chuckled and bit into my food before jumping into the shower myself. One of these days I wanted to shower with she again.

From here on out today was pretty normal. Up until it was time for the show. Today we were performing a big show, and decided to get ready here.

As I was changing into my band outfit, I watched Bella getting hers on.

Laurent had designed her outfit. Her outfit reminded me a lot of Kate Beckinsale's main outfit in the movie, "Van Helsing." And she looked so hot. "Bella, you look great." She blushed thanked me before we made our way to the show. We always arrived an hour early to set up. Emmet, Jasper, Charlie, and my parents came to help as well, we were having a party at our place afterwards and they were all coming.

It wasn't much linger until we heard the fans piling into the place. And Bella was smiling. "You guys ready?" Bella asked, looking at us excitedly.

"YEAH!" We ran out, fist pumping the air as we get to out instruments.

"Hello Seattle! It's been a while since we have played here with our tours, but we are happy to be home and performing for you all! So to being the show we will perform, "Last Night." My husband will be helping me out by singing the male part. We hope you all enjoy!" I took my place at Bella's side and we smiled at each other before beginning.

The crowd cheered wildly when I quickly, and playfully aggressively pulled Bella to me, attaching our lips. When she pulled away from me, her eyes were wide but she smiled before walking away, putting the microphone in my hand. As an idea from the band, I rubbing the back of my neck, shaking my head a little and slowly moved my hand down my chest, and they were right, the crowd went insane. The girls mostly. "Good Evening! How is everyone tonight!" The crowd roared. "Ok, so now I have a kind of slower song. But I'm hoping you all love it! Here comes, Leave Out All the Rest!"

I smiled at Bella and gave her the microphone, giving her a kiss on her cheek, feeling her shiver. "Amazing job baby! Ok so now up next is, Bittersweet."

The show ended with a bang. Excitement and cheers rang loud and clear and they loved it even more when I pulled Bella to me for a kiss. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I won't regret it. To end the magnificent day we all decided to go back home to celebrate. "That was fantastic!" Seth shouted.

"Yeah. I'm so proud of you both." Esme cheered, smiling.

"It was a bit weird though... seeing Edward being... sexy." Emmet said, cringing at the though. Bella walked by him, lightly swatting his shoulder.

"It was more than sexy." Sticking her tongue out at Emmet. She sat on my lap, leaning against me. "Man... Would you be up to rubbing my back later?" I smiled.

"Of Course." She was so adorable. I couldn't deny her anything. And I never would.

"Ok... does anyone want ice cream?" Bella's brother's eyes grew wide and they nodded excitedly. "Ok, what kinds should I get?" As everyone made their lists I thought about the events of tonight. The crowd was really warming up to me being an new addition to the group. I was liking this, being in the profession with Bella, I loved the fact that we were able to enjoy this together. "Ok, I'll be back shortly." I nodded, getting up and walking her to the door.

"Ok, so... how soon do you think until you get back?" I asked, just curious.

"Maybe fifteen minutes or a little longer. I see ya when I get back." I nodded and quickly pulled her in for a quick kiss, hugging her. I wrapped my arms around her tightly and made the kiss more passionate.

"Yo bro! You have plenty of time to make-out with your wife when you both are alone." Emmet joked. Alice, Rosalie, and Jasper all laughed, followed by Alice snorting.

"Ok.. see ya." Bella walked out the door leaving me with a kiss on the cheek and I went to sit back down on the couch. I wasn't sure why, but for some reason I had a bad feeling...

Bella's POV

I got into my car, confused. Edward was being a little weird. And I couldn't understand why. I ignored it and pulled out of the driveway and made my way out of the cul-de-sac. The sun was slowly beginning to set over the horizon, making me smile. Reminding me of some of the times Edward and I had gone to the beach and just relaxed. And I thought about the night where Edward and I decided on trying to have kids... I was so happy. I looked around outside of my windshield and the lights for my lane were green so I went.

I was in the middle of the the street, making my way when I felt a huge impact on my car. This impact sent pain threw my body. Glass from the passenger side windows was scattering everywhere, a couple pieces lodging themselves into my right arm. I screamed not sure of what else to do. I was trying to divert all other traffic by turning the steering wheel... but I was unlucky and another car ran into the front of my car, causing my car to begin to flip. All I could remember was the sound of crunching glass, feeling the pain that came with the glass lodging itself into my skin from the front windshield, the sound of screeching metal and I blacked out.

Only hearing the screams of people from other cars and bystanders screaming, "ARE YOU ALRIGHT!" My eyes opened for a moment, in time to feel the blood rushing off of me into the ceiling of the car and to feel the pain before blacking out again. My last thought being, "Please, don't take me away from him!"

Edward's POV

So... so, you know how Giraffe's became? Well A zebra disrespected Chuck Norris and he punched it in the chin... Walah, a Giraffe!" Laughs erupted from everyone when Emmet finished his joke. I laughed but inside I was panicking. It had been a whole forty-five since she left and she said only fifteen to twenty minutes. I tried my best to hide it... but my mother could see right threw me.

"Edward? Honey, what is it?" I hesitated... not sure what to say. "Edward?"

"Well.. I'm worried. Bella said she was going to be back a while ago. I'm not sure why, but I got a bad feeling when she left the house... I don't know." Esme nodded, understanding of my feelings right now.

"Here..." Seth suggested, About to turn on the news when the phone rang. When I answered I hadn't realized that my phone was one speaker when I answered.

"Hello. This is Sheriff Lee of the Seattle Police. Is this Edward Cullen?" I was confused, what could be going on?

"Yes sir. What is it?" I heard him sigh, almost sadly.

"We need you to come down to 52nd and Maple."

"May I ask why?"

"Just get down here, trust me. It's important." I nodded to myself.

"Okay." As quickly as possible my family and I got in my car and got out as soon as we saw a blazing fire. Quickly, we all got out of my car and ran to the sheriff. "Are you Sheriff Lee?"

"Yes sir. Are they all family of Bella Cullen?" My eyes widened. I felt close to crying. I looked around at the scene, there was Bella's car, flips and crushed, in a fire red blaze.

"Sir is our sister and his wife alright?"

"I'm not sure. She's in the ambulance over there." I nodded and we all ran to see a paramedic closing the back doors.

"Sir. I'm Mrs. Cullen's husband. Is she alright?" I was close to tears

"Sir... You wife was in an accident. Her car flipped over three times and we found her blacked out. Please ride with us to the hospital." I nodded fast and looked at everyone, meet me at the hospital. Getting in the ambulance, the smell of blood was in the air, and Bella had a mask. The scene before me was painful. I couldn't stop the tears from surfacing. And to try and calm myself, I gingerly put my hand upon hers, careful to not put to much pressure. It was a quick trip there and as soon as we got there, Bella was rushed into surgery and I was asked to wait in the waiting room.

The memories of how she looked in the gurney were heart-breaking, she had shards of glass lodged into her arms, there was a gash on the side of her arm, some small cuts on her cheek and top of her forehead there was dried blood all up and down her arms, neck, and face, and a few singe marks from the smoke from the car fire. I was taken out of my thoughts when I heard and saw our family and really close friends running towards us.

"Edward! Is our she alright?!" It was now that the tears began to shed.

"I'm not sure.." My voice cracked as I whiped my eyes. My mother, Leah, Sue, Alice, and Rosalie walked over to me, hugging me.

"How did she look?" Flashbacks flashed.

"Not good. She had large gashes, she was coated in blood, and glass..." I sniffled, hugging the girls back. All of us were anxious, terrified for her.

It wasn't long before the doctor came out. "How is She doctor?" I asked.

His eyes looked sad so I quickly becoming impatient. "Well the good news is we fixed her broken arm and collarbone, we got all the glass dislodged and we fixed the gash." This to me was a relief. "But... I do have some bad news..."
