"AHHH," Eddy screamed. The others where still getting up from the carnage of their cardboard plane crash. Double D looked through the heaps of wreckage and began to piece back together the plane. "Edd you're a genius" Eddy said. He sat back into the cockpit and waited for something to happen. "What gives?"
"We need materials Eddy," Double D said.
"Oh no! We are lost and have no way of reaching society," Jimmy said fainting.
"Open your eyes!," Sarah exclaimed. Jimmy did just that. Right above him where the tall buildings of New York.
"I got it!" Double D said. "We are going to need a broom stick, hairspray, tape, and some more everyday items we can find," he was jotting down in a small notepad.
"Where the heck can we find all that?" Kevin asked.
"Look around," Double D said pointing to the city. "We should get moving soon though. We must make it back home before supper." The whole gorup nodded and moved forward towards the buildings. When they left the park they found the hustle and bustle of the city. Many yellow cabs lined the street and many adults walked passed them.
"We should take a cab!" Johnny suggested.
"With what money?" Eddy asked crossing his arms. "We need to find a way to get the supplies for free."
"We can try dumpster diving," Ed said diving into a dumpster.
"Get your own!" a voice shouted as Ed flew out of the dumpster.
"Well I'm out of ideas," he said sitting down. Jimmy then raised his hand.
"I might have an idea," he said pointing to a street sign. The street sign says "Broadway"
Eddy sighed. "Well if no one has any other ideas, lead the way Jimmy." Jimmy smiled and he lead the way to Broadway. Although it is daytime, the billboards for the theaters shined in the sunlight. Jimmy looked around and around until he found the right theater.
"This one!" he said.
"We have to get in!" Eddy remarked.
"Again, with what money?" Johnny asked.
"Here is a way Ed boy's" Rolf said sticking his head out of the stage door. The looked into the box office and say the attendant asleep. The tiptoed into the theater and closed the door. Inside they could hear voices far off into the distance. Nazz went down the hall and took a peak behind the wall.
"All clear" she said waving her hand.
"Where is this broom you said was here?" Eddy asked Jimmy.
"It should be near the stage," Jimmy responded.
"But there is a showing going on right now" Double D said pointing to the speaker. The voice of a woman and dramatic music is being heard.
"All we have to do is get close to the stage and grab the broom," Eddy explained.
"But Eddy I wouldn't recommend the taking of theater property" Double D advised.
"Do you want to get home?" Eddy asked. Double D sighed and nodded. "It will be as easy as 1,2,3," Eddy said.
They tiptoed further into the theater and found the stage. Onstage two woman are performing in the dark. One with blonde hair and the other with green painted skin.
"There it is!" Jimmy said quietly. He went to the broom and grabbed it. However it wouldn't budge and he began to pull it harder.
"Where are your wings?" the blonder actress recited. The broom then began to lift off the ground and move further out onto the stage. A terrified look dawned up Jimmy's face.
"Didn't I tell you-," the green woman stopped in mid sentence. The whole audience gasped as Jimmy made his Broadway debut. Camera's began to take photos despite it being against the rules in the theater. A very angry stage manger discovered the others and crossed his arms. Eddy smiled and waved at him.
BAM the whole group was thrown out of the theater and back onto the street. Eddy picked his head up from the concrete and shook his fist at the billboard that read Wicked.
"I found a broom!" Ed said waving it in the air.
"Perfect! Now we have something to support the wings," Double D announced. "Where can we find hairspray?" he asked Jimmy, still on the pavement. Jimmy lifted his hand pointed to another theater nearby. The theater was more colorful and had a large billboard saying Hairspray.
"How straightforward" Double D said.
