Chapter 15: Trust.

Maria and Mephiles were fighting on the roof of the castle. It started to rain. As they fought Maria wonder why. Why did she work for Mephiles.

It then all came back to her. Why she work for Mephiles.

She couldn't believe it. She soon relised that she that this world she so wished to live on 50 years ago was so cruel. She wanted to cry.

'I have to get out of here' Maria thought.

MEANWHILE

Everyone was back at the cave and were waiting for Maria. Elise said she had a good feeling she would be back and Elise wanted nothing more then to beat the shit out of Maria for what she's done.

"Elise I know this might be a bad time considering your hate for Maria but-"Sonic was cut off by Elise.

"BUT WHAT? Just because she saved us doesn't mean we can't forgive her for everything. SHE TRIED TO KILL YOU, ME, ROUGE, KNUCKLES AND SHADOW SAW HER KILL SOMEONE, AND SHE WORKED FOR MEPHILES FOR 50 YEARS AND GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW LONG SHE'S BEEN KILLING PEOPLE! WE CAN'T FORGIVE HER FOR WHAT SHE'S DONE TO US AND YOU"Elise yelled.

Sonic knew Elise was right. They just forgive her just like that. But Sonic felt like Maria at least deserves at least one chance.

"How about we all take a vote"Sonic suggested.

"Are you fucking kidding me right now"Rose ask.

"Well I can't think of anything else. Besides I think Maria needs a chance to redem herself. She did dave us after all. Plus she did work for Mephiles, so she knows what might happen in the near future. Think about if we have her on our team we can stop Mephiles and as soon after we defeat Mephiles we can all return to our lives"Sonic said.

"He does have a ponit about Maria. Her and Mephiles have been planing about bringing an end to the world for a while now. So we could use her"Yuki said.

"You can't be fucking serouis Yu-chan"Rose said.

"I believe in second chances, So I say we give her a chance"Yuki smiled and walk over to Sonic.

"Fine, whatever. But I say thats fucking bullshit, I say we don't"Rose flew over to Elise.

"Everyone if you think Maria deserves a chance come to me"Sonic said "And if you think she doesn't deserve it go to Elise"Sonic finshed.

Everyone thought of the sitution and Rouge, Knuckles and Amy went to Elise while Tails Silver went to Sonic.

"Okay Shadow you need to make a choice"Elise.

"I know. I'm just thinking"Shadow said.

"I understand. It's you sister and your best friend and probaly the only person you consider family anymore. Take your time"Amy suggested.

Shadow had no idea what to think but gave it alot of to it and made his desion.

"I've made up my mind"Shadow said.

MEANWHILE.

Maria used her powers to get out of the castle and ran. She wanted to get to the cilff. But soon Mephiles grab her hair and pulled her back.

"You do relize that they won't forgive you"Mephiles stated.

"I understand that. BUT I JUST WANT TO SAY SORRY! SO, LET GO"Maria yelled and punched Mephiles in the face. She then ran to the edge of the cilff not knowing what to do. But she look behide herself and saw Mephiles getting up. She look down at the cilff and yelled. "FUCK IT"Maria then jump off.

"Stupid girl. She'll never get what she wants. She thinks she can fix this by just begging for forgivness and helping them"Mephiles thought out loud and left to the castle for him it was a waste of time to go and get Maria and fight. He wanted to instead wait for the perfect time.

Maria fell down and hit head frist. She got up and washed up all the blood from her head and hair with her arms, hands and rain. She got up and started to look for the cave and sure enoughe she found it. She smiled and starled to crawl into the cave and saw everyone.

"Um... Hey guys"Maria smiled.

"Hello"Elise whispered. Elise went to Maria and punched her.

Maria felt her wisdom tooth get loose. That was enoughe to let Maria know that Elise was mad as all hell. But thanks to Maria's immoratliy her tooth grew back.

"OKAY, I know you all pretty mad at me"Maria said as she got up.

"MAD DOESN'T DESRIBEB HOW FUCKING MAD WE ARE"Rose yelled.

"I know. And nothing I can do can ever fix what I've done. But please, Please find a way to forgive me. Thats all"Maria beg.

"Just to let you know we did make a vote on weather to forgive you or not"Knuckles said.

"And"Maria ask.

"Me, Elise, Rose, Knuckles and Amy svoted no"Rouge said.

"And me, Tails and Yuki said yes"Sonic said.

"Shadow what about you"Maria ask.

"Maria"Shadow started" I voted no. I can't forgive you"Shadow said.

Maria was shocked. But she knew why Shadow was so mad.

"I understand. I'll leave. Just so you all know I was gonna turn myself into the poilce as soon as we defeated Mephiles. But in this case I guess I should just turn myself in now"Maria said softly.

"Your going to leave"Sonic ask.

"Of course, I have nothing else to live for and I am immortal so, I all I have now is my stupidy"Maria fake a smiled.

"Good bye Maria"Shadow whispered.

"Sayonara"Maria whispered. She was about to leave when she thought of something. "I know where the Chaos emeralds are"Maria shouted.

Everyone forgot that she knew where they were.

"I'll-I'll... WANT TO HELP! PLEASE! I PROMISE ONCE THIS ALL OVER I'LL TURN MYSELF OVER TO THE POILCE AND NEVER BOTHER YOU GUYS AGAIN"Maria yelled.

"PLEASE TAKE ONE MORE VOTE"Maria yelled.

Everyone but Maria huddled up and whispered to eatch other.

"What should we do"Amy whispered.

"Well Maria makes a good ponit. She knows where the emralds are"Rouge whispered.

"So what hell are we gonna do"Rose whispered.

"Lets take a re vote"Silver whispered.

"You think it's a good idea Silver"Tails whispered.

"Not really but got any better ideas"Silver whispered.

"Not really"Tails whispered.

"So we're all in agreement to take a re vote"Sonic whispered.

"I guess so"Rose whispered.

"Alright"Elise whispered.

Everyone then look at Maria.

"Maria please leave were gonna take a vote"Elise demand.

"Of course"Maria smiled and left. It was still raining. Maria was in fear of what everyone was gonna vote. Maybe they'll let her join the group or force her to leave.

Thats when Knuckles came out and said "Were done"Knuckles said.

"Oh, Ok"Maria smiled.

Knuckles and Maria came back in th cave. Maria was a little scared of everyone at this ponit.

"Maria you do understand that no matter our vote you'll still be punishend, right"Elise ask.

"I understand. Just give me you guy's answear"Maria beg.

"Very well then. We have voted for you to join the group"Elise growled.

Maria was shock and then showed a smile.

"TH-THANK YOU"Maria yelled.

"Keep in mind that the only fucking reason why were letting you join is because you are of fucking use to us"Rose grlowed.

"I'm happy to help"Maria smiled.

"Then lets get the fuck outta here and get some fucking food. I'm fucking hungry as shit"Rose snarled.

"I can agree to that"Silver smiled. Soon everyone was leaveing the cave to go to Solenanna to get some food and rest.

Maria look at the Shadow and smiled.

"Thank you"Maria whispered.

"Whatever"Shadow frowned.

Maria truly wanted to change but frist she knew she had to tell why she did all those things. But now wasnt the right time.
