AN: I SUCK I SUCK I SUCK. I'm soooooooooooooooooo sorry that I have taken this long to update. Life has just been full of lemons lately, meaning I don't get the time or inspiration to sit down and write. I promise that I will do my best to update at least once a week, and I will try and post something if things aren't going according to plan. Anywho, here's the next chapter! Enjoy!

Chapter 23

I sauntered back into the control room, my arm laced through Rose's. The Doctor looks up from the wires he was fiddling with. His eyes land on me and I just shrug, but then he looks at Rose. His breath catches and his eyes widen, a soft "Blimey!" escaping his mouth.

I figured this was the exact moment he fell in love with Rose. It wasn't much of a surprise, just quite adorable to watch. Rose didn't seem to notice his pink cheeks as she beamed happily. She looks bashful and says, "Don't laugh!" I grinned coyly. Was that a giggle I heard? Rose was flirting! The Doctor's ears were practically sunburned by now. "You look beautiful…." he breathed.

He sucked in a breath, before adding, "Considering." I shoot him a look. Really? Doctor and his damn pride. My eyes soften, because it's not really his pride. It's his hearts. He doesn't want to lose her, so he pushes her away. Rose's face falls slightly, but resumes a small smirk. "Considering what?"

"That you're human." I pinched my mouth together. Geez, real smooth Doctor. Rose brushed it off, even though I knew she was hurt. "I think that's a compliment. Aren't you going to change?" Changing the topic, classic avoidance technique. They're like a pair of blushing teenagers, for God's sake!

Going with the flow, the Doctor immediately responds, "I've changed my jumper. Come on, you two!" Oh look, the two raging hormones finally noticed me. "You stay there. You've done this before. This is mine." She sticks up her nose and glides toward the door. She goes out, and the Doctor follows. Before he reaches the door, however, I pull him to the side. "Smooth, moves Casanova." I leave before he gets to respond, his jaw on the floor.

(Rose P.O.V)

Rose was not really willing to admit that she was slightly heartbroken, but she pushed her feelings back. She was going to enjoy this experience, no matter what her stupid (yet vital) organ was telling her. She pushed the doors open nonchalantly, only to stumble into a fresh layer of snow. She surveys her surroundings, smiling as she sticks her tongue out to catch a snowflake. She closes her eyes and draws it all in. She doesn't even open her eyelids when the Tardis's audible creak of hinges rang out. She only cracked them open when she heard a plop and a giggle. She looked down, surprised, to see a human-sized indent in the snow, containing a giggling (albeit shivering) Alice. Rose has never seen her happier. "What, never seen snow?"

Alice shakes her head, still too elated to reply. Rose gaped at her as she rubbed her hands over the velvety powder, effectively creating a snow angel. Another plop was heard, and there was the Doctor, making a snow angel. Rose couldn't help but chortle at the scene. Who would imagine an interdimensional traveler and an alien lying in the snow and making angels. She sighed and lowered herself into the cold snow. She sighed and looked over at the giggling weirdos, particularly the enormous-eared-asaurus (why not?). She couldn't stay mad at the Doctor for long.

Alice pressed the button on her polaroid, then threw the camera into the air. As it came back down, she pulled out the photo, shaking it. It actually effectively captured the three of them laughing. She quickly pasted the photo in her journal. She glanced over to Rose and smiled. Rose couldn't not smile back. The girl was starting to grow on her. The Doctor helped both of them up, all of them brushing the snow out of their hair. Rose glanced over at the Doctor. Well, two of them at least. "That's enough fun for now, you two! Let's go find history!" He looped arms with the two women and they disappeared into the soft snow flurries.
