Dear Daddy,

I had a really busy weekend. I had my piano recital last night, then Maddie spent the night, and today, I had my ballet recital!

Maddie came to my piano recital. Ms. Tyler brought her, and both of them sat with Mommy and watched me play. Ms. Bonnie had me play 7th. I played Silent Night (your favorite Christmas carol) and Minuet. Everyone said I did a really good job! There was this one girl, Jenna, who went last. She played a song called The Snow is Dancing, and she did a really, really good job! Her piece was soooo pretty! I hope one day I get to play that piece and be just as good as her! When I asked her how she could play so well, she said she practices an hour a day! That's a long time! Maybe I should start practicing some more...

Maddie rode home with me, and Mommy let us stay up later than usual. She didn't let us stay up too late, though, because of our ballet recital. We popped some popcorn, and Mommy let us watch some re-runs of Tom and Jerry. Tom and Jerry are really funny to watch! Jerry, the mouse, is always tricking Tom and hurting him!

My ballet recital went really well, too! I got to wear make-up, and I even had a solo! I messed up a little bit on it, but I don't think anyone noticed. I hope not, anyway. I wish you were here to see me! It was my first solo, ever!

I miss you sooo much, Daddy! Please, just come home soon!

Love,

Kelly

A/N: The Snow is Dancing is a song composed by Claude Debussy. Very, very beautiful piece!

Thanks for reading! Review please! :)
