"One, two, One, two….mmm….one…...Nnnhh…..tw-NO IM SCARED LET ME GO NO NO NOOOOO!"
"Hey! Quit it….come on not biting HEY QUIT IT OK OK WE'LL STOP!"
Tears welled up around pink eyes as sniffles resounded throughout the halls of the Justice League's headquarters in space. It's right before the five year gap, and lately everyone that knew of the situation surrounding the half-kryptonian girl had a worm of unease nagging at the back of every thought. Their young counterparts, the Young Justice still suspect nothing, but have started to drift. All the adults were worried; even though the kids were bonafide heroes they were still kids. All of their, yes their, children and even Superboy and she-who-rejects-every-name-given-so-far (ahem…I mean the heroine of the story) have burst their ways into the hearts of the world's most legendary heroes.
"Ah come on kid, don't cry! Maybe the bicycle isn't for you...how about we grab some lunch and see about rollerblading?" suggested Flash, frantically trying to calm down the crying girl. As of late Daddy-Bats and the newly proclaimed Mama-Sups (or Mama-Man as the women and Barry liked to call him) have taken to making nothing upset the Justice Leagues new ward. Try as Clark might to act as a second paternal figure to the girl (guilty for not doing so with Connor in the first place the heroines swooned...I mean presumed…) she would not take to him after she learned about he treated Superboy. She felt bad for snubbing his kindness she confessed to Flash one night, but she could bring herself to act cordial to the man. No one knows who leaked "the Kents" history to her (probably afraid of Mama-Man's wrath) but no one could find much sympathy if they thought about it; pity, yes, sympathy? Nope.
Recently their ward had finally weaseled out information about the not-so-willing-nor-aware human DNA "donor" from Daddy-Bats. Turns out, their ward and the donor really are clones; they share much of everything cognitive wise, but their "version" seemed more underhandedly deceiving and was coyer about it too. However, understanding the donor so well, she came to the conclusion that she must accomplish what her other half could not. She reasons that because of her half alien blood that a lot of what her donor could not do she would at least try to do herself since she is less destructible than a typical human. However….
"Ah~ It doesn't seem as if she inherited any secret talents. She's just as bad at these things as that civilian -_-'" ", thought Barry.
"Mmm...no...I...I…" she whispered. Placing the bicycle haphazardly against a random wall he turned to look behind him at her only to find his charge half gone. Panicking a bit he sent an emergency signal to the rest of the League; it seems she has finally lost control over her powers or...Barry didn't even want to think of what comes after that.
A/N:
If some of you get confused, the Flash is Barry, Barry is Flash. I use his two names interchangeably because it helps decrease repetitiveness. Also, sorry for such a late update. I lost the chapter I previously was going to upload -_-" whoops~

Update!
Yea, I put "the clarks history" instead of "the kent's history"…if anyone caught that I am sorry. I only just realized my mistake when I was writing chapter 13…blah its fixed now though! Does anyone know if updating a chapter affects any view counts and what not that the prev. ch. Got?
