"DAMMNIT!"

"CALM DOWN!"

"WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!?"

It was complete chaos up in the Leagues space base that day.

Right after Barry sent the emergency signal from his belt he only had just enough time to usher the panicking girl into the comm. room. Shit hit the fan as soon as those most concerned for her transported through. Just as everyone transported on time and practically in sync with each other, the girl's half faded physique had started an odd, some would say eerily ominous, pulse that resounded throughout the room, almost as if in time to an invisible beat.

As much as our heroes wanted to help her, to stop her panicked crying as she held her head and sank to the floor, nothing they did could help her. Each hand that reached out to her would pass on through her. She was scared, anyone could see it; but the looks of sheer pain at being helpless on the adults faces would make others debate who was experiencing a more agonizing pain.

Each second that passed her form gradually became more translucent and the mysterious pulsing stronger and more erratic. Bruce looked on in despair, Clark in denial. Diana and Dinah held onto each other for support. Barry sat on his knees in front of the girl quickly dissipating right in front of their eyes whispering encouraging nonsense through choked sobs. No one really knows what happened during the moment that she disappeared completely other than that only a beat or two after she was gone, Barry disappeared not moment after in a flash of light. Then, a few seconds after he reappeared with no memory of where he just went; the only thing he could share was some incomprehensible blubber about something called "the speedforce" and "earth two". What they could all make sense of was that their ward was safe. What happened and why she was gone was still a painfully mystery, but for whatever reason where ever she was now she was safe.

As placating a thought of her safety was to Barry, whatever happened to him caused him much mental distress. J'Onn had to go in and suppress the experience for him. The memories it seems were too complex for even the martian to understand let alone go near. He could not touch whatever experience Barry had been through, thus the Justice League suffered another blow because of lack of information.

Batman:

From then, the five year gap came and went. Some members privy to what happened to their best comrades short-time yet precious ward that day silently speculated whether her abrupt disappearance had anything to do with the separation of Dick and Bruce. The fact that they had the first Robins memories suppressed made things a bit worse, they would sometimes muse. It might have even felt like the loss of a child, then having Dick quit was a second blow, then all the other "sons" to follow was just…

Flash:

Barry carried on as usual, but with tightly coveted memories of the short stay of someone he came to think of as a niece. Caring so much for someone he barely knew and for such a long time was extremely risky he knew, especially considering his occupation, but he just couldn't help himself. He just had this "fun uncle" persona that came natural; sometimes he and his wife would joke that he had no off-switch when it came to that part of his personality. But, when the lose of his nephew, Wally, he cracked a bit as well. It wasn't anything major, just that the stress and despair of it all led him to understand a little of the time he spent who-knows-where that they had J'Onn suppress. But, everyone could understand if he completely snapped one day. "Two" losses of family, of children, that by all reason he should have been protecting from things such as this happening….he was there during both tragedies….both times he was hopeless. So many things he could have done different, things he could've said, could have not said….

Superman:

Although Clark suffered a blow as well, some good came of his pain. During a bout of rediscovery he came to terms with his clone Connor. Although he refused to think of him as a son (it was still weird to think that, after all, how would he explain that to Louis!?), he could still see him as a little brother of sorts; Clark Kent had finally learned to be a proper mentor. The joy he saw on Connor's face everytime he came to him for training, or anytime they spent time together really, made him wonder why the kid liked him so much still. After all that he put the boy though he still looked up to him...and it ate away at him inside from time to time. He would do his best though, he decided. His new found resolve strengthened by the thought that the other little kryptonian would be happy that he was getting along and making his clone...Connor...happy…

A/N:

ayyyyyyyeeee ya'll! We are finally getting somewhere! gosh only took 14 chapters...lol im such a bad author XD

For those of you here for some Connor x OC action, and how she gets her name, do not fear! The romance and fluffiness will be here soon! Though not "too" romancey because I suck at that stuff … for those of you who would like to argue that let me just say one thing "I am currently 19 and have had no bf or anything of the kind (it has been my choice, call me old fashioned). Therefore I have come to the conclusion that not only am I socially-retarded, I am romantically-retarded as well". lol it's a sad life I live ;_;

I only promise my best attempts!
