Chapter 28

Siobhan's POV

Everybody milled around when everyone was finally up. After Dean had asked all those questions about faith they decided to get to work and research what it all meant. I decided to not be a nuisance and to actually get on with some work so I went to where Sam was and sat down next to him.

"Any luck with the whole Angel thing?" I asked him, while dragging the nearest book to me.

Sam shook his head, "Not a whole lot to go on. Just basic myths and legends and not much fact."

"Well, maybe the myths and legends are there to tell you something." I suggested, shrugging.

"Maybe but I'd like some solid facts first before we do anything. I want to make sure this Castiel guy is who he says he is." Sam looked pointedly at me.

"I could tell you the truth but would you believe me?" I asked him, with a raised eyebrow.

Sam thought a little, "It depended on what the answer was."

I sighed, "Look, Castiel is a good guy. He will make some mistakes. Some big mistakes but don't we all? He'll be a good friend to you and Dean one day. Especially Dean."

Sam gave me a curt nod, "If you say so. Anyhow, we've still got to research how Dean got out of hell and I think it has something to do with Castiel. There's no information you can tell me about that is there?"

"I could but I think it's better if you found out yourself." I told him.

He nodded in understanding and then got back to reading while I followed suit. We didn't talk for most of the day as we searched and searched in the books that we had gathered. Sam did seem a bit on edge more than usual and I was starting to wonder if it was anything to do with Ruby when his phone suddenly went off. I looked to the window and realised with surprise that it was already late afternoon. My stomach rumbled so I started to get up just as Sam had finished his phone call and had got up to head for the door,

"Hey. Do you want anything?" I asked him.

"No, I'm fine. I'll get something while I'm out." He answered, going towards the door.

"Where are you going? You going to be long?" I asked.

Sam shrugged, "Maybe a little while but not too late."

Knowing that I wouldn't be getting a clear answer from him I resigned, "Ok, just make sure to not wake anybody up and be safe."

Sam smirked, "I'm sure I can handle myself. It's you I have to be worried about."

I rolled my eyes as he disappeared out of the room. The rest of the evening went quickly since I hung out with Marthe. It was getting late and there was still no sign of Sam.

"Where did Sam go?" Dean asked me, pacing up and down with worry.

I shrugged, "He wouldn't tell me where he was going."

"You did ask, didn't you?" Dean questioned me.

"Yes but like I said he wouldn't tell me anything." I told him.

Marthe sighed, "C'mon, let's get to bed. He'll probably be back in the morning."

I nodded and got ready for bed. With the last thoughts of the day being about Sam I laid back down on my bed and fell asleep.

Hey guys! A short chapter for you this week but don't worry next chapter is so long that it'll have to be in two parts! Did you guys watch the latest SPN ep last week? I LOVED IT! OH MY GAWD! 3 Doesn't anybody else think that the pep talk Dean gave to Crowley was Dean accepting Crowley into the family without even realising it? I think so :P And yes! Rowena is gone! I don't think we'll be seeing the last of her though. And Cas was such a badass 3 I hope you enjoy this chapter and I'll see you next week. Have a great weekend/great rest of the week! Toodles! x
