The Only Male Of My Kind Admits That He Likes Me

I awoke the next morning and got out of bed slightly sleepy but other then that fine, I really had to stop dwelling on Jake. He would find his gay lover and live happily and queerly ever after. Why do all the cute guys have to be gay, even Emmett is Bi. Rosalie screamed for a week after she found his Johnny Depp photos, as Emmett protested loudly that although who could blame him for thinking Johnny Depp was hot he happened to be madly in love with Rosalie, go figure. I loved my aunt dearly, but even I admitted that she had claws. She tried not to display them in front of me but she could be just as biting as Leah.

I put on jeans and a blouse and stepped out the door, Nahuel was smiling holding Alex. "I thought we could let his Mommy sleep some." He said and I nodded, together we walked to the livingroom and sat down together. "So, how do you like living here Nessie?"

"Its beautiful, I love the forest and the ocean." I replied and he nodded.

"It is beautiful but how do you like it?"

"Well I was born here and spent all my life here, I love my family and friends. I don't know how do you feel about Argentia?"

"One place leads to another, I like to stay near Argentia in case of encroaching on other vampire's territory they tend to frown upon that. You are a woman but I as a man I pose the bigger threat, or at least that's what they obviously think. All the full vampires try to fight me and well I'm weaker than them, so I prefer not to confront others in full on combat."

"That's a good idea, and refreshing, it seems as though all the people I know like to fight. My Dad and Jasper wrestle regularly, its quite entertaining especially when they go against Emmett together." I explained and he nodded.

"I could see that point although not all males are the confrontational type." He said and I smiled.

"They aren't really when the wrestle its just for fun nothing else, even my Mom arm wrestles with Emmett, she's gotten weaker so can't beat him all the time any more." I said and smiled. "Its fun when you have an oppanate who is your equal, would you like to wrestle?" I asked and he stared at me a moment before smiling.

"I would enjoy that,in the forest?" He asked and I nodded.

"Why not?" I replied and smiled in return. "We could take Alex along with us and watch him while we wrestle." I said and scooped the baby up. He giggled delightedly and relaxed against me. "Your a happy fellow aren't you?" I asked him and he nodded. I laughed and hugged him as we walked to the forest. I put him in a tree stump where he could see us with the help of the stump but not crawl out. I smiled and faced off against Nahuel. He smiled at me.

"So how do we start?"

"On the count of three?" I asked and he nodded. "One," We both got ready standing next to each other. "Two", we sized each other up. "Three", We circled each other, Nahuel feinted at my feet to see my reaction and I leaped aside catching him off balance and throwing him to the forest floor. He groaned as I smiled gently getting on top of him for a slow count of ten and won the match. "I can see why you don't fight, I'm not that good but I'm better then you."

He laughed and nodded. "See why I keep with the non confrontational standard it works better for me and I don't wind up losing my body parts. Reattaching your hands is less then fun, let me tell you." I laughed and he took my hand. "You have beautiful hands Nessie." I smiled, no one had complemented me sincerely before about anything, except for my family.

"Thank you." I said blushing, Nahuel was quite handsome. "I like your hands too, preferably attached to your body but they are nice." I smiled at him I didn't mind sitting on the forest ground with him at all.

"What is your favorite food, besides blood?" Nahuel asked.

"I like things that have a strong taste especially cheese if its strong enough it doesn't taste like grass completely." I replied and he laughed and laid back looking up through the canopy. i did the same, I could stare up at the trees for hours.

I smiled when I heard a soft snore, sure enough Nahuel had fallen asleep, I decided to get up and check on Alex, he too had nodded off. I smiled, it was rather warm today and I enjoyed the feel of the sun against my skin. I picked him up gently, I really wanted children someday, they were so adorable. Alex was breathing softly in and out and his limp relaxed weight touched something in my heart. I smiled and gently laid him down on top of me. As he slept his hand moved slightly and I realized that I was actually starting to love Alex like a little brother. I stroked his baby curls gently as Nahuel snored beside me, he was nowhere near as loud as Jake or the pack but then again that was no mean feat.

I must have dozed off myself because when I awoke Alex was smiling at me. "Essy." He said and I stared at him.

"Say Mama." I said and he smiled.

"Mama." He said and smiled proud of his accomplishment. "Essy!" He cried and I smiled at him.

"Nahuel is asleep, you don't want to wake your uncle now do you?" I asked this was plainly the wrong question as the little guy started to shriek waking up Nahuel. He jumped up whirling around and I smiled at him.

"Nahool." Alex said and smiled. "Nahool, Nahool."

"Well he is learning to talk really fast." He said and I smiled.

"Mama Nahool?" He asked.

"Mama is back in the house." Nahuel replied smiling at his nephew, Alex was cute he clapped his hands.

"Do you want to play?" I asked and he nodded smiling he got to his hands and knees and I chaised him around while he giggled madly and I smiled at him. Suddenly he stopped and I swooped him up giggling. He relaxed against me giving me a hug and I hugged him back.

"Your great with children." Nahuel said and I smiled in reply as his stomach growled.

"Darn thing is about being a half vampire is that you have to eat every so often." He said and I laughed as my stomach growled.

"I suppose we didn't eat enough last night, lets go back to the house and find something to eat." I said and he nodded. We walked back together and I held Alex as Nahuel got out cheese and crackers for all three of us. I gave Alex a cracker and he nibbled on it puzzled before tossing it across the room and clapping his hands. "A man after my own heart." Nahuel said taking a cracker and some cheese. I did the same and we winced at the same time as we bit down swallowing the food as fast as possible before laughing. It was so much fun to be around Nahuel, he was part of my kind.

I took another cracker and Alex reached out for it. "You'll eat it this time?" I asked and he nodded, I smiled and gave him the cracker. He bit into it and chewed it with a gap toothed smile apparently he actually enjoyed it. I gave him some cheese and he ate that as well. I gave him two more before he shook his head and turned my interest in food towards myself.

"I, well haven't had much experience in saying this..." He said. "But, I think your really amazing." He said and we both blushed.

"I think your really amazing too." I replied and he smiled at me a endearing grin that made me smile, it was sort of boyish and cheeky, alot like Jacob's at times.

"Then would you go out on a date with me?" He asked and I nodded, he pecked me on the cheek delighted.

"When?" I asked and he smiled again.

"How about tomorrow night?" He asked and I smiled.

"That sounds perfect. You pick the place, that is if its alright with Dad." I replied and he smiled.

"I've been thinking about nothing else all day, I was going to ask you in the woods but..."

"You fell asleep." I said and laughed. "That shows how riveting my company is."

"Your company is very riveting as much as your beauty which is far from slight. I was slightly interested in you when you were a child, you experienced love from your parent, where as my aunt never got over the fact that I turned her into a vampire and killed her sister." He said and I felt my arms go around him, I knew he was close to breaking down and when he started to cry it didn't surprise me. I let him sob into my shoulder and gently stroked his hair as he cried, he so reminded me of a little boy at times. He looked up after about ten minutes and smiled at me. "Thank you." He said before stepping back.

"Why don't we watch a movie?" I asked and he nodded together we went over to the television and watched Charlie's Angels the mid nineties had produced some things and those movies were one of them. I hadn't lived during the nineties but my parents and uncles all agreed that the nineties were the best period for advances in special affects. I mean it included the first fully computer generated film and some of the best spoof spy movies ever.

We both laughed through the ridiculous acting however half way through the movie a explosion startled me and Nahuel put his arm around me. The DVD player cycled to the second disk and Abigale got her child from us as we began watching the second movie. I smiled at Nahuel before going back to the movie, but all good things must end in time and the third disk began to play. Half way through it was getting quite late and Nahuel fell asleep his head resting on my shoulder. I smiled at him he was such a little boy despite how he had lived about a century and a half before me. When it came to it sometimes I acted my almost seven years. I smiled and leaned my head against his, soon I too was asleep.

Don't just keep clicken on clicken on review like I know you want to. Lame pop songs now I can't believe I am actually cracking myself up over my authors notes. Sometimes I think I need to get a life but then I realize my computer is my life!
