Chapter 34

Rachel's POV

It had been a few hours and Crowley and I had found nothing. Zilch. I sighed as I closed yet another book which had not helped in any way.

"I feel stupid in asking but found anything?" Crowley asked, his voice coming from the first floor of the library.

"Nope. I feel like I'm gonna be crazy if I'm locked in here any longer." I complained, placing the book on the table beside me.

"I thought you loved books." Crowley remarked.

"I do but I don't like being in the same room for hours on end. I need a break." I explained, and got up off my chair.

"Fair enough. Where would you like to go?" Crowley vanished and reappeared beside me, holding his arm out for me to take.

"Maybe going out of the room would be a start?" I asked, chuckling and walking out of the room without accepting Crowley's arm.

When I walked out of the room, however, I came upon a face that I had been wanting to avoid in the last couple of days; Gabriel's. He stood near the doorway with his arms across his chest in a relaxed position but stood up straighter when he saw me.

"Ah." Was all Gabriel uttered as Crowley came up beside me.

Crowley looked between Gabriel and I before saying, "I'll leave you two alone. I need to sort out some business anyway."

There was a silence for a few minutes when Crowley had vanished before Gabriel began, "I'm guessing Crowley explained about the incident with Lucifer?"

"Incident?" I asked, giving him a steely glare, "I'd say it was more down to your stupidity. You never think, do you?"

Gabriel flushed, "You hardly know me. I don't think you can start name calling me."

"You forget about the knowledge I have of this world; of you." I stated.

"And how much do you know of me?" Gabriel asked, even though he didn't wear a curious expression I could tell he was curious by the tone of his voice.

"Enough."

"Oh, please. For Dad's sake, that's not giving me enough information to believe you." Gabriel said, impatiently.

I sighed, "Look, I know you really are good and that you're whole Trickster act is a facade. Do you need anymore evidence?"

"What's my Tricster act, as you call it, a facade of?" Gabriel asked me.

"A facade of the fact that you're a sad and lonely little boy who wants his family to stop fighting." I summarised for him.

"You can't blame me for everything that's happened with my family and how I reacted to it." Gabriel said, defensively.

"That's right, I can't. But I can blame you with the Lucifer 'incident' as you call it." I told him.

Gabriel ran his hands through his goldren hair, "Alright, listen, I'm sorry I ever opened up my mouth. If I'd have known how much damage I would have caused I wouldn't have said anything at all. Do you accept my apology?"

"No, not yet. But it's a start." I said, "Come on, let's go and find Crowley."

I took Gabriel's offered arm and we vanished out of the room and into what looked like a study. I was still getting used to this way of travel so I felt a little lightheaded while I saw that Balthazar was with Crowley. Balthazar took note of my entrance and then his gaze fell on Gabriel,

"Ah, brother. So nice of you to join us."

"Did you get your little feud out of the way with?" Crowley asked us, mainly looking at me.

"We're getting there." I answered, letting go of Gabriel's arm and walking towards Crowley.

"Why are you here, brother?" Gabriel questioned Balthazar.

"Just relaying information about our dear brother, Lucifer, onto Crowley here. We believe that he has some plan involving Rachel because of your comment about her existence, brother." Balthazar replied in a steely tone, glaring slightly at his brother.

I winced a little before I decided to save Gabriel from anymore humiliation and decided to change the subject, "Do you have any maps in here?"

The two angels and demon looked at me curiously before Crowley replied, "Yes, there are a bunch of them over by that shelf. Whatever do you need them for?"

I looked over to where he was pointing and found a large collection of maps that had been categorised and neatly placed on two shelves, "I need to find a place in America and I'm not sure if it's real or not. The fact that I've just met one of the residents of said town helps but I want to see if my belief is right."

"And what might this town be called?" Balthazar asked me.

"Mystic Falls." I answered, as I pulled the heavy book that had the map of North America inside it and placed it on a nearby table.

I opened it and a large pile of dust came rushing out of the book and covered my face. Coughing I swiped it away with my hand and peered over the pages. It took me a few minutes and several pages before I found what I had been looking for,

"Aha! There it is! In Georgia near Atlanta. Where are we now?"

"On the outskirts of New York. Why?" Crowley asked me, curiously.

"Well, since we are getting no where with our research dealing with Lucifer I thought we could have a little road trip." I suggested.

"Would we know any of the residents there?" Crowley questioned me.

"Perhaps one." I admitted.

"Who?" Crowley asked.

"Damon Salvatore."

"Who's this Damon Salvatore? Do you know him Crowls?" Gabriel asked Crowley.

"Unfortuantely, yes. He was at the ball that we had." Crowley answered.

"So, he's a supernatural being," Balthazar summarised, "What kind of supernatural being, exactly?"

All of them looked at me expectantly before I answered, "He's a vampire and Mystic Falls isn't exactly a quite, peaceful town either."

"And you think I'm just going to let you go to this place when we've got to deal with Lucifer too?" Crowley asked me, with a raised eyebrow.

"No, because I'll be with these two and you can send along Jace and Felix for extra security if you want." I told him.

"And why do you want to go to this place, in particular?" Crowley asked me.

"Remember that I told you that I had future knowledge about this world and that this was a TV show? Mystic Falls is a place in a TV show in my world too. The people, beings, that live in that place are fictional to me." I explained.

"And I'm guessing this is one of your many favourite programmes?" Crowley sighed, "I suppose I could let you go but Gabriel and Balthazar have to be by your side at all times. Deal?"

"We're not going to have to kiss, are we?" I questioned him, leaning back slightly.

"Well, when I read your mind a few nights ago you wanted to do more than just kiss me." Crowley teased me.

This earned looks from both Balthazar and Gabriel and I mumbled out, "It's a deal."

Crowley nodded, "Good. When are you leaving?"

"I was thinking now, if that's possible? Don't want to waste anymore precious time." I stated.

Crowley nodded and motioned for Gabriel and Balthazar to stand beside me, "Make sure you don't get into any dangerous situations while I'm not there to help you."

"I assure you, Crowley, that's the last thing I want to happen on my trip. Aren't you coming along with us?" I asked him.

Crowley shook his head, "I'm afraid not. I want to try and research into Lucifer more and hell is taking up more of my time than I want to. I'll be seeing you shortly."

I nodded before Gabriel placed his arm on mine and we vanished out of the room with Balthazar vanishing alongside us.

Mystic Falls

Elena Gilbert's POV

I was walking down the street and had just passed the Grill with my best friend Bonnie Bennett when I caught something out of the corner of my eye. It looked like three people and one of them looked female but I couldn't be sure because they were quite far away.

"Elena?" Bonnie said, sounding as if she had been trying to get my attention for a while.

"What?" I asked, tearing my gaze away from the people and towards Bonnie.

"I was asking what are we going to do about Caroline? She can't stay around Damon. He's too dangerous." Bonnie said, in an exasperated voice.

"Oh, I don't know Bon. We'll think of something." I answered her, looking back at the people that I had just noticed.

However, when I looked back they had vanished. As if they hadn't been there all along.

"What?" I asked to myself.

"What's wrong, Elena?" Bonnie asked me curiosuly.

I looked towards Bonnie and said, "I swear I just saw three people standing right over there a minute ago and now they aren't anywhere to be seen. It's like they just vanished."

I pointed over to where the three people had been and Bonnie looked to where I was indicating, "Well, there's nothing there now. With everything that's happening to this town at the moment I wouldn't be surprised that there had been people there a minute ago. Thing's are creepy in Mystic Falls at the moment."

"Yeah. Creepy." I muttered and then shook my head and went on with my day.

Mystic Falls

Rachel's POV

After the accidental touch down near Elena Gilbert and almost exposing her to supernatural beings we landed in the Mystic Grill where many people were assembled. Hopefully this meant that not a lot of people had become aware of our arrival.

"That was close." I said, sitting down at the nearest available chair.

"I don't get why we had to switch to here. Who cares about some girl seeing us? We could have wiped her memory of us." Gabriel commented, sitting down beside me.

"I don't want Elena Gilbert knowing about supernatural beings before she originally does. Future knowledge, remember?" I told them.

"And if you have future knowledge, what is this place?" Balthazar challenged me.

"The Mystic Grill." I shrugged, and saw Vicki Donovan walking towards us with a notepad in her hand.

"Welcome to the Mystic Grill. What I may get you?" She asked, looking at both Gabriel and Balthazar with a flirty look.

I sighed, "I'll just have an orange juice, thanks."

Vicki nodded but was still looking at Gabriel and Balthazar when Balthazar said, "We'll have nothing. Just an orange juice, please."

Vicki smiled before saying, "One orange juice will be right up, sir."

As Vicki walked away Gabriel leaned into me and whispered, "Do you know that girl?"

"Yeah, she's Vicki Donovan. Matt Donovan's sister. Matt is best friends and ex-boyfriend of Elena Gilbert." I explained, looking around the grill.

"Does everyone know everyone in this town?" Gabriel asked.

"Pretty much, yeah." I answered, my gaze stopping at Tyler Lockwood and his parents who were a few tables ahead of us.

It was odd seeing other characters going about their daily lives. Just as I was thinking this I was interrupted by the voice of Caroline Forbes,

"Go with Elena."

"She's asking Stefan." Bonnie said, irritably. Her gaze fell on me and it became curious before she looked back to Caroline again.

"Okay, go by yourself." Caroline brushed her off.

OK, Caroline was being the annoying human Caroline of Season 1.

"Gee, thanks. What about your mom? Is she ok with you bringing Damon?" Bonnie asked her.

"And I'm supposed to care why?" Caroline sighed.

"He's older sexy danger guy." Bonnie warned her.

I tore my gaze and attention from Caroline's and Bonnie's conversation to Balthazar and Gabriel. Balthazar and Gabriel were both looking at me curiously before I said,

"Boys, I think we're going to be staying here a little while."

Boom! Didn't see that coming did ya? Or did ya? xD I wanted to involve other worlds in this story and it not just be about Supernatural. Obviously, Supernatural is going to be the main focus of this story but I love so many shows that I just want to involve them in this story however I can. This is going to be The Vampire Diaries storyline and it'll be dipping in and out of the story :) Anyways, I hope you guys had a great week/great rest of the week and weekend. I'll see you next week. Toodles! x
