Haha, you guys can't imagine how much it amuses me to read your reviews.
Just kidding, I'm sorry about the cliffhanger, kinda ;D Oh, and no promises this time
Percy's POV
Hearing Annabeth screaming my name as I was led away completely broke my heart, well, what hadn't already been broken anyway. She loves me, was the only coherent thought running through my head. Annabeth loved me.
"Well, the mighty Perseus, finally captured," Luke sneered. My hands itched with the urge to punch the smug look right of his face. "How do you feel, knowing you failed another beautiful woman?"
I ground my teeth, refusing to further satisfy him by showing weakness. "You continue to underestimate us, Luke. Especially Annabeth."
I didn't say another word, even as I was dragged on his ship, taken to the brig and bound in chains. No, I wasn't given the liberty of being able to roam around my cell, there were manacles around my wrists and ankles, connected to the walls by iron chains.
I cursed myself for bringing Annabeth into this mess. My selfishness blinded me when I made the horrible decision to kidnap her, and now I was going to die, and Annabeth would be left in Luke's hands. As always, he was getting exactly what he wanted.
I sat dejectedly, staring at the floor. I refused to let expression show on my face, keeping a blank mask.
I'm sorry Annabeth. Please forgive me for this, but I've suffered too much to know that your death would be on my hands. Just promise me, you'll never forget me.
I ran, leaping over a row of armed guards. As I jumped, I tucked in my legs and swung my cuffed hands underneath me so they were now in front of me.
Luke screamed in outrage, ordering his soldiers to catch me. I dodged swords and spears and arrows, barely a scratch.
I'm coming Annabeth, I thought. Wait for me.
I approached the rails, and vaulted over the brick wall of the citadel.
Straightening into a dive, I rocketed into the water below. A normal person would've died jumping from such a height, but the water filled me with strength.
Using the water to propel me forward, out to the open sea, out to the Princess Andromeda, now I could rescue Annabeth.
Annabeth's POV
Even after Percy and Luke were long gone, I was screaming Percy's name, tears streaming down my face in rivulets. I was pulled onto a separate ship with the man who was holding the knife to my throat. He was solidly built guy, with an eye-patch.
Though the pirate crews thought back, Percy and I were whisked away.
And now I waited in the captain's quarters of one of the government ships. I sat curled on the bed, tucked away as far as I could get from the door, with my head buried between knees and my chest. I tried to keep myself silent, but I'd finally said those tree words and he'd been taking away, after saying those words back no less.
Enough Annabeth! What would your Mother do? Come on, strategy! THINK! I scolded myself. I was stronger than this, I needed to be if I was going to get back to the Princess Andromeda to rescue Percy. Everyone knew how pirates were executed; they were hanged. I had to get there before that happened.
Brushing away my tears, I stood and searching around the room. I needed something sharp, a letter-opener or something. Even though I was small, I was still much too big to fit through the porthole, so I'd had to get out the hard way. Fight my way through scores of trained soldiers. No, you're trained too. Remember what Percy taught you, knives are easy to conceal... Duh! I pulled of my boot, and sure enough, my hidden knife was still there. How could they have been so stupid as not to check me for other weapons? Mother would be very disappointed.
Now, if they would take me on deck, make me do some work or something, I'd be able to get the knife out as quickly and discreetly as possible. Then it was a matter of fending off the soldiers and either taking over the ship, or diving overboard. I didn't like my chances besting all those trained men and keeping them at bay, but jumping into the ocean wasn't exactly a bright idea either.
Suddenly, I heard a creaking floorboard. I straightened up, stiff as a plank or wood, quickly putting my shoe back on.
"Annabeth?" A voice whispered from the shadows. A familiar voice.
"What do you want." I replied, speaking as quietly as he was.
"Look," He said. "I know I'm not your favourite person-"
I rolled my eyes. "Understatement."
"-But I can help. I can help Percy. Here's what we need to do..."
Leo's POV
"Leo? Leo?!" The girl calling my name sounded extremely agitated.
Groggily, I opened my eyes. A girl with beautiful almond eyes full of worry hovered me. I knew I'd seen her before, but I couldn't recall who she was, or where I was.
And then it came rushing back to me. "PERCY! ANNABETH!"
Tears filled Calypso's dark eyes. "I'm sorry Leo, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have helped him, I-"
I put my hand on her shoulder, silencing her. We were in her cave. I could here the rest of the pirates outside arguing.
"You didn't so anything wrong, Calypso," I lied. Of course she did something wrong. "We need to save them."
She nodded, and helped me to my feet. Leaning heavily onto her shoulder, I staggered outside.
Grover, Jason and Reyna hurried over to us, leaving the bickering outlaws.
"Guys, I have a plan."
"No," A familiar voice rang surprisingly loud through the clearing. though the sound brought joy to me, some of the others scowled and drew their swords. "I have a plan. Please, don't kill me. This is important."
Sorry, short and kinda bad quality.
Please R&R, you guys are AWESOME!
