First my thanks to my friends and my apologies for not contacting you.

My friends who know me here and on DA account. I honestly wanted to talk to you guys but felt guilty because I haven't put up anything in a while.

Thank you Momoko1030 for always giving me your thoughtful and long reviews. I honestly love reading them and that you put the time into writing them. *Hugs* They always made me smile to read when I was feeling dejected about the story or had a writers block. You were one of the main reasons why I worked so painstakingly hard on this chapter. I'm sorry I couldn't write it quicker but now I think I'm more sorry on how long I wrote it… I hope you or any of the other readers didn't get a headache.

Red-Phonix14 I'm sorry I haven't really gotten to talk with you. Thank you for all of your short but sweet reviews. I'm honestly glade you like my story so far. Now stop crying or else I'll laugh and cry!

Guest Your review meant a lot to me because I would often write that for other authors but never thought that I would get one. (TTuTT) I really appreciate it. Thank you! I wish you had written a name though. Just because you are an anonymous doesn't mean I don't read and appreciate my reviews.

ToriorangeflowerFirst off, love the name. I love oranges :3 Thank you for liking the story

Dragonroses I haven't looked in my 'PM' box for a long time and just now looked at it and I'm happy that you sent it to me. I'm soo happy that your still reading it and like it! I honestly am! *Hugs*

KissesFromButtercup312 I seriously freaked out when I read your review, I was like "THAT'S SO COOL!" (*O*)

Schoolh8ter I want to say that I wish you didn't hate school but first off, it's only a name and second, if I did I'd be a hypocrite. Because there are times where I too hate school. Thank you for the telling me their english names. I do appreciate it but I think I'll keep it the way it is. I never watched the eng dub so I'm just gonna keep the Jap names.

If there were any promises I made to anyone or if I'm missing one of my important reviewers, please let me know.

P.S I finished one comic strip.

If you look up Lunlayosa-1031 on for deviantart, go to my gallery and you will find it.

All right this is the half that I cut off from the last chapter!...well I also added to it! and then the added became too long and will end up becoming another chapter (which I still haven't written)... Haha… sorry if I made the chappie too long…

Oh, I also take back the fact that I'm just going to use characters from other shows as OC/fillers. It turns out that it'll be more of a stress if I use all fillers as real characters. I kinda hate using/making OC but I'll make them if I have too...what a pain. And no, I know what some of you are going to ask but sorry no. It'll be even harder for me to use your OC's because I don't want it to stray from how you originally created it.

Also, I don't know if I got Hyper Blossom attacks right. Do you know how embarrassing it is to write the names of those attacks!

Love all of my readers very much! Enjoy the chappie! :3

*leaves to finish on art/fulfilling promises/making next chapter*

Also... if you see any strange toilet similes in here...

It was a genius accident and I don't care if you don't like it because I think it was awesome!

...

*rereads what was just typed*

LOL. XD

- Special writing...yeah I'll call it that.

-Thoughts or emphasis

- A type of noise or something ridiculously, ear-drumming loud.

- Will I ever need this?

I don't own PPGZ and probably no one who makes a fan fiction owns the show they love, that's the reason why we right fanfictions. So why do we still have to say it? Don't ask me.

I probably should've named this chapter the 'Battle Sides' since the first three parts was just different places of the battle.

Warning, rated T for mild use of profanity/cursing/swearing.

It's been a long time, so here's a long recap.

*IMPORTANT RECAPS From previous chapter:*

3rd POV.

'No good, I can't find him anywhere...' She thought as she buried herself in her hands.

'Did he manage to escape? ... What am I going to do?' She racked her brain for a solution but came up with nothing. Getting up, she dusted off her clothes before nearing the ally's entrance. Before she could walk out, the sound of a store bell rang and she ducked back behind the corner. Reaching into her pocket and furiously rummaged around before pulling out a compact. She flipped it open and looked in its reflection.

Outside the ally, three boys, a couple inches shorter than her shoulder, walked out of the convenient store.

*RECAP SCENE BREAK*

Brick's POV.

'A different outcome?... but then, that would mean-'

My eyes widened with the realization. A bead of sweat rolled down the side of my head.

'That the Powerpuff girls...will lose.'

*RECAP SCENE BREAK*

Third POV.

"I may not be from around here and it's true I don't know who's fighting but the outcome will be different." She replied, her voice stern near the ending, her persistence shinning through her actions.

Now Brick was really curious. 'Was what she said true? Would it happen?'

The only way to figure that out was to go to the fight and see for themselves. He shouldn't decide for himself that they should just drop everything and go. No, he had promised Butch and Boomer that they would go to the arcade. So it was only fair that he asked for their opinions.

"What do you guys think?" He asked as he turned his head in their direction, giving them his full attention.

"I asked that earlier, so it honestly doesn't matter to me." Butch shrugged as he stuffed his hands into his pocket. Boomer thought for a second then looked at Butch and Brick with a smile.

"Let's go, but I say she should give us something in return!" He cheered as his grin turned into a mischievous smirk, one that infected Butch and Brick. All three boys looked to the older lady with the same look.

"Actually, I change my mind. I say we go as well." Butch sneered, voting for Boomer's idea.

*RECAP SCENE BREAK*

Third POV.

Looking around, he found her. There she was! Blocks ahead of them he adds! Running ahead completely fine as if the volume of the noise didn't even bother her! If he and his brothers couldn't even deal with the noise, then there was no chance that a human could! Before she turned a corner and out of his sight, Brick noticed something.

He could've thought about why she had left them, how was she able to run undisturbed by the noise, even why was she so urgent to get to the fight, or he could've just cursed at her in his mind! But no! Instead the last thought he had when she turned the corner was-

'Why is she wearing such a thick jacket during the Summer time?'

*RECAP SCENE BREAK*

Blossom's POV.

Soaring high above the smoke I examined the battle field, searching for my opponent who had yet revealed itself. I could hear something that sounded like someone was whispering. I couldn't tell where it was coming from or it's source. The noise lost my attention when I saw a shift of smoke and the crunching of metal. I turned and saw the large silhouette of some creature. Then I was gone in flash of light, nearing the ground like a missile. I landed with a loud THUMP! The abruptness of my landing caused the smoke around me to disperse, like a ringleader at center, ready for the performance.

Now, for the entertainment itself... that was another thing.

My head shifted side to side but all I saw was smoke, smoke all around. Sure that I had landed in the right spot, took a couple of steps forward, the whispering getting louder as I ventured at the edge of the smoke. 'Where is it?'

FooooBAM!

Before I knew what happened, my face met the side of a building.

*END OF IMPORTANT RECAPs*

Remember to review, please and thank you!

.Chapter 3.
~The battle and... the save? Part 1~

_(*ω)_Third POV_ \()_

_.:|_30 seconds earlier_|:._

Blossom landed on the road in a crouched position, her arms craned out from her sides, before she stood to observe her surroundings. Taking unhesitant steps forward, Blossom never saw the shift of fog or the ominous shadow that lurked in the fog behind her. A giant paw lashed out from the white wisps and whipped at the petite heroine's back, knocking her into the side of a small convenience store.

FooooBAM!

The force of the attack caused her body to dent the stone wall; the outline of her awkwardly sprawled figure was left humorously imprinted on the wall. Blossom unplastered her face from the wall as groan slipped past her lips. A hand rose to her forehead as she gently shook her head from side to side, dust and rubble falling from her head from the movement.

"Ugh...what hit me?"

Blossom was barely able to levitate away from the building before she was, once again, violently swatted to the side. Her cry speared the air when she collided with the surface of the black asphalt, which parted from the force and created a trail of crumpled asphalt in her wake. Her brightly dressed figure then skipped across the ground, resembling a pebble skipping on a lake, before her back harshly met the side of a car. Ow… Now that REALLY hurt. Cracking open her eyes, she looked up in time to see a white blur and its descending attack. Not wanting to fall victim to the same trick, Blossom rolled to the side, the claw only cutting the end strands of her hair, just before she flew out of range. She took a quick glance at the tips of her now unbalanced ends. HEY! That trim wasn't even- well… even! Blossom looked back. A dust cloud erupted from the crater that now occupied the area that was once a plain of flat road, the spot where she laid only three seconds ago. She narrowly escaped by the tips of her hair... literally. Even though I now have to cut off even more hair to get it fixed.

The figure in the dust turned in her direction. The dust cleared, revealing its hidden figure.

The information flittered through her mind in a fraction of a second: white hair shimmered silver when graced by light, opaque onyx spots defiant in the dirt stained white fur, a lithe body flexed from a landing to a launching position , and its giant pearly razor-sharp teeth and claws shone with intense ferocity...

A white cheetah? But red eyes said otherwise.

No, an albino cheetah. That however, wasn't the reason why Blossom's pink eyes had widened in shock. Oh no... It was the creature's size.

It...

Was...

HUGE!

WHAT THE HELL!? Was all she could think, her mind still taking in the monster's size.

From the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail, the cheetah was about as tall and as long as a bus. Then something happened. The rushed whispering, from before she entered the fog, the one that had taken place at the back of her head, now burst through her mind like a tidal wave, quickly expanding and growing at a rapid pace. It was branching and consuming the depths of her mind, not causing pain but making it impossible to think. It demanded for her attention just as a full bladder demanded for a toilet. Yes, it was that persistent- there was no use in retaliating to it.

Yeah right; like she had a choice...

Before she could react, the cheetah pounced with unseen speed. With her mind still split, she instinctively made a quick side step, barley dodging the attack. No matter how loud or persistent the noise resounded in her mind, she still had to fight. Don't think, just react. A shadow appeared from the corner of her eye. Swiftly turning around, Blossom blocked the feline's large, sharp claws with the white cuffs of her finger-less gloves. Both the cheetah's and Blossom's arms trembled at the conflicting forces. She glances up to see the cheetah's crazed death glare and its snarled maw; its teeth gleamed with intimidation. Oh how easily she could fit inside its jaws. She shivered, scared to her wits end at the fact.

Through the muddled mess which is now her brain. Blossom was able to produce a single, solid thought that screamed (and echoed) distinctly from the abyss of whispers, which had invaded her mind.

I DON'T WANNA BECOME KITTY CHOW!

She thought dramatically as tears started to take form at the corners of her eyes from her not- so- exaggerated fear. She was too young, and too cute she inwardly added, to die in such a way! With her free hand, she summoned her yo-yo in a brilliant white light. The light flashed, blinding the cheetah. It growled out of shock and, for a second, it loosened its force on her. That split second was all she needed.

"Strawberry Big-Luck Spin!"How she was able to yell that without any shame was a mystery.

Blossom threw her yo-yo in cork- screw- like- fashion. The small toy like weapon made its target as it drilled into great feline's face. Then Blossom gave the string a forceful flick, causing the yo-yo to pull back an inch before slamming back into its bruised face with greater force. After making contact, the small weapon bounced off the great feline before it rebound back to its owner. Oh yeah!
The cheetah stumbled a couple steps backwards from the hit from the second attack. Blossom saw the opportunity and jumped a few feet back to distance herself. Crimson blood freshly ran from its nose down its fang exposed maw, which panted for air now that its nose was broken.

There was a snap... Something clicked inside the giant white monster.

Its eyes constricted into small black beads, all traces of its red eye color were gone. Turning its head, it looked at her as if given some realization in its wild state. Uh oh… Blossom didn't like that look. The feline disappeared and, in an instant, it reappeared in front of the heroine.

It's fast. She could only gasp in shock as it raised its paw before slamming her to the ground below them.

Though she fought to suppress and subside the whispering just enough for her to fight- it came back with vengeance. It burst into her mind like compressed water that gushed free from a small crack in a wall just before the wall itself crumbled, submitting to the pressure. Everything scrambled as it entered her mind, sounding like a group of people echoing and repeating the same thing. Then it stopped. The chorus suddenly harmonized until she could only hear the one voice. Only… it wasn't whispering anymore. No, now there was only one, deep, wrathful voice. It now spoke into her mind's ear in a loud bellow. A bellow, laced with the venom of hate and the blades of anger, that drummed out like the final toning of a church bell. As it signaled the beginning of the end.

WHERE IS SHE!

Blossom's eyes widen.

It's coming from the cheetah.

When silence was all it got in return, the cheetah put more weight on his paw, flattening the heroine. Blossom gave a strangled cry at the increased pressure.

Can't... BREATHE! She thought, wincing as she furiously fought to push the paw off her chest, her hands clawing and digging to grab onto the underside of the albino cheetah's paw. She hastily discovered that her fruitless struggles did no good for her respiratory system. If anything it only made it worse. Quickly giving up on the futile task, she settled with glaring at the stupid cat. With its never changing snarl, plastered on its face, the feline glared back. With mocking cruelty, the cheetah softened his force on the heroin's chest for a split second. Only a sliver of relieving air entered her lungs before the giant predictor cruelly cut it off, the crushing force returning onto her body. The now extended claws bit into her skin. A dribble of red ran down the side of her arm.

You can't take us back! SLAM! It slammed it's down paw on her body.
WE KNOW NOW! SLAM!
Where's the key! SLAM!

Blossom hacked at the last blow. The monster rammed her harder into the ground her after every sentence. Her mind reeled from the pain, from lack of oxygen, and the lack of understanding. What key? What are you talking about? As if he could hear her, the cheetah stopped and ground its paw on her like a shoe crushing a bug, furious that she hadn't given it an answer. Black edged her vision. A wandering thought passed through her mind on why she hasn't passed out yet.

WE WON'T GO BACK! CRACK! The street finally shattered from the pressure.
You tricked all of us! Debris flew and seemingly hung in the air.
WHERE IS SHE! Insane black beads bore into a confused pink.

She?... Who's tricking who?... Why can't I breathe? Blossom thought, her mind slipping from the limited air she was getting- if any at all. Nothing was making any sense. Her eyes started to glaze over.

Why are you following us!
YOU CAN'T STOP US!
Why aren't you answering me!

Blossom's eyes, now completely glazed over, were clouded and unfocused as they gazed skyward. A pounding erupted from her head. I don't understand... my head hurts. The beast let out a growl.

DON'T LIE, HOW DID YOU FIND US! - Stop... Blossom thought, the pounding in her head was unbearable.
We will stop you! - I'm hurting... No light reflect in her eyes, her expression transformed into one of shadowed, detached indifference.
BITCH, TELL ME NOW!

Shut up.

WHAT!?

You're annoying. The whites of her eyes glowing white, and the only emotion that was the faint shimmer of annoyance. All of a sudden, a growl of pain erupted from the feline's mouth. It backed away from the girl, holding its paw in pain. He examined his paw only to see that the pad had been burned off and the pinkish-red flesh from underneath was exposed in its place, white steam wisped from injury. He looked up and saw Blossom standing, her eyes leveled with his, with her face only inches away from his enormous one. With a look of indifference, Blossom grabbed the feline by his head and, like a baseball pitcher, chucked him down the street at high speed.

The cheetah soared down the street then Blossom reappeared right in his path and kicked him straight up into the air with such strength that no one would've guessed that two seconds ago she was on the brink of passing out. The cheetah flew past the level of the skyscrapers. The possessed teen launched off like a rocket, a boom sounding as she broke the sound barrier, and flew until she was at level of the still rising cheetah. Two streams of white, from her eyes, and one pink light left in her wake. With a front flip, Blossom slammed her foot into the albino's side knocking it back down to the ground. She repeated the process of hit, follow, hit.

She continued knocking the cheetah back, forth, up, and down as if she were playing a self-game of hacky sack. As if she wanted to see how long she could keep it up in the air without damaging anything.

Too bad it ended so quickly.

Red eyes opened and, with fangs bared, the albino flipped in midair. When Blossom made a kick, so did the cheetah. Gah-boopffff~ the two kicks clashed and a shock wave of power erupted from blows, knocking both of them back. The two landed on their feet gracefully, facing each other with malicious glares. Cold calculating eyes staring the down other with their opponent, searching for an opening, and waiting for the other to make the first move.

Taking the offensive, Blossom sprang forward with her arm pulled back and pointed her fingers like a knife. Nearing the albino, she lunged throwing her hand forward to spear at his neck. The albino strained his neck to the right to doge, the hand nicking its throat, and pivoted on his front paw. It spun its body and slammed its tail into the hero's side. The strawberry blonde was sent flying, the attack making her spin uncontrollably in the air. She was nearing the ground with her head at point. Unfazed, she placed her hand on the ground, stopping her spinning and slowed her speed, and her palm skidded against the asphalt before she flipped back onto her feet in a knelled position. She looked up, the whites of her eyes glowing with a fiercer brilliance.
Blossom stood as dust and smoke lingered around her ominously. Then she turned to look at the albino cat as he swished his tail mockingly. Though he mocked her, the albino knew he had a formidable opponent just by the look in her eye. The cheetah stared at her shadowed face but could only see the glowing whites of her eyes.

Then there was a sound.

A high, sharp pitch sound fluttered through the air, echoing an angelic ring that wraps anything and everything in its hypnotic cry.

Driiinng~...Driiinng~...Driiinng~

The cheetah froze.

His white hair standing on end, his eyes widened, and his head started to ache.

Drriiiiiiinnng~... Drriiiiiiinnng~... Drriiiiiiiiinnng~

His maw parted and let out a pained cry.

The rapidly increasing pain pierced into his mind, fogging his conscious.

Driiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnng~

Blossom saw the opening and grasped it without delay; the flickering of the white glow from her eyes went unnoticed. She soared forward with her body flying on its side, like a human missile. She wrapped her hand around the other, locking her arms in a horizontal line across her chest, her elbow pointed outward ready to deliver a powerful blow. Mindset on the one thing and one thing only: to defeat her opponent at any cost.

Drrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng~

The elbow made contact, slamming against the feline's head. The blow sent the great cat back flying before the body came crashing down, landing on top of a car with a loud thud. Its larger form draped over the small automobile. Blossom flew high into the air and a lined herself above it. Then she dropped down at a high speed with her legs angled downward. Mercilessly, she dealt the blow on its side, causing the albino to cough blood. In retaliation, it swung a claw in her direction. On reflex, she flew back and distanced herself. When she landed on the cracked road, Blossom flinched. A pain was seeping into her head. Despite the pain, her face was indifferent, showing no sign of weakness. Getting off of the car, the cheetah stood with his head lowered in pain. Its red eyes closed in pain and its agonized cries got louder and louder. Off in the distance Blossom took a step forward, as if to make an attack, but was only able to take that single step as her upper body loosened almost limply. Her glowing eyes rapidly flickered on and off as she lowered her head. Her blank face stared at the ground below her, not giving any indication of the pain that started to form in her head. The pain they both experienced made their heads pound. The pain beating against their skulls, ready to burst from its confinement just before-

Drrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng~

- taking away all sense.

_(*ω)_ Still in Third POV_ \()_

/-\...High above the battle field.../-\

A lone figure sat, his dark attire making him distinct against the clear sky and brilliant sum, watching the battle from his seat on a skyscraper. He wore a grey sleeveless cloak jacket (that would reach his heels when he stood), an orange shirt, black fitted pants, and grey and black boots. The upper part of his face covered by his hood. He sat on the metal railing with one leg propped against his chest, both of his arms wrapped around the leg that he pressed against his chest, and his other dangling hundreds of feet above the ground. It was a wonder why the man wasn't disturbed by the possibility that he could slip and fall to his death. Actually, the fact that he was able to sit there without even holding the railing was a wonder all by itself.

He had thrown the police car. (AN: Referring from chapter 1)

Yeah, he was the one who committed the failed automobile assault

Why?

Because the girl that came to the battle wasn't the one that he was looking for.

He didn't expect her to dodge it though.

Actually he didn't expect a lot of what he had seen.

That's why he hadn't intervened….yet.

His eyes trained onto two outlines fighting in the fog. The information he had gained so far was nothing short of surprising and amusing. A girl fought with a yo-yo, her attacks were named after sweets, her opponent was a giant cat, and she was winning! Come on, how is that not amusing?! It was like she had taken those names directly out of a bad magical girl anime. When he first heard the name, yeah it was funny, but when he saw how powerful the attack it dealt, he almost died of laughter. He was not expecting that little toy to be that powerful. Her fighting style was amateurish but he had to admit that she was no rookie. He had hoped to see more of her attacks but instead he got a drama.

It turned out the big bad kitty cat still had some sense in him... but all that rubbish that he spewed bored him.

He was about put an end to that when he saw something happen to the teen. Even from all the way up here, he could tell that her eyes had started to glow white. Then after that, it was as if she had her personality switched because she stopped making all of her hilarious facial expressions and stopped, much to his disappointment, fighting with her yo-yo. Her movement and fighting style became cleaner... smoother...calculated. From an amateur to pro in a matter of seconds. The thought made him frown, as he pondered over the thought, before he had shrugged it off with a smile.

She's been full of surprises. He thought trying to wave it off, but it was still troubling.

Earlier it was fun...but now it's boring~. He thought, frowning as he watched the battle with a bored expression that could've been mistaken as a pout. She was in complete control of the battle, and that was no fun. All she did now was playing hacky sack using the big kitty cat as the bean bag. It was funny at first, but after watching it for five whole minutes... well... it got dull.

Gah-boopffff~ Even that shock wave didn't faze his boredom.

Huh?...Oh looks like kitty finally fought back. He thought, looking at the scene with his half lidded eyes as he rested his cheek against his knee.

A smirk formed on his face. It was time for him to intervene. Removing an arm from his leg, he stretched his arm out in front of him with his palm upward. A black orb of pitch darkness formed, levitating in his hand before it transformed into a long black pipe. When it landed in his hand, he kept it in a tight grip before moving black pipe near the metal railing. He tapped the rail three time.

Driiinng~...Driiinng~...Driiinng

It sounds beautiful as always. He thought as he admired the pipe's smooth surface. It's black surface didn't reflect any light.

Well, it shouldn't~. He snickered at his inside joke as he tapped the pipe harder, letting the sound drag out.

Drriiiiiiinnng~... Drriiiiiiinnng~... Drriiiiiiiiinnng~

No matter how many times he makes a pipe, they always made the same sound. The same high, light, enchanting ring, but he had to admit, the noise was anything but. With the onyx metal slicing through the sunlight, he lifted his arm and slammed down on the railing, making the noise ring out twice as long than the previous sets.

Driiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnng~

He looked down to check on the fight before he smirked at what he saw. It looked like the noise had started to take effect. The cheetah was starting to cry and writhe in pain. He raised the pipe before he slammed it back onto the railing. A large crack appeared on the rail's metal surface but it went unnoticed. Now things are about to get even more interesting~.

Drrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng~

He laughed when the heroine elbowed the cheetah's face. He slowly raised the pipe above his head, taking his time in order to watch the fight. He smile widened as he quirked a brow at the sight of the heroine crushing the cheetah to the car. Merciless isn't she? Just as he was about to make the last ring, he noticed something. The teen had begun to move forward but then she stopped before her blank face slowly angled downward. His eyes widened and his face contorted into shock when he saw the glowing white light in her eyes flicker. Why? He wondered before breaking out into a fit of laughter. It seems that the girl was also being affected by the noise. Why? He didn't know. That was the reason why he was laughing. It seemed that things were going to get even more interesting than he thought possible. He knew that the amount was going to exceed his expectations but he would've never fathomed this much. He raised his arm above his head, ready to deliver the final blow.

This is going to be fun~. He smirked and he owed all of his thanks to that redhead for making his job so much more entertaining. Then he brought his arm down and delivered the strongest blow.

Drrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng~

The metal rail shattered and the black pipe dispersed into a thousand spheres, before vanishing into thin air.

The man nowhere to be seen.

|-)-(-?'s POV-)-(-|

I - pant...

HATE- pant...

RUNNING! I was so tired that I was even panting while I was thinking! What the heck is with that!?

I had been running everywhere trying to find that stupid fight! Just when I think I spot them, they move! When I think I hear them, I go only to find that they had already left! Not only that but my stupid guides ditched me! Just to make matters worse, they took my freaking wallet! Did I mention that I'm in a jacket!? Not just any jacket, a really really thick one! Sure it looks cute, sleek, comfy, cute, light, cute, stylish, and- did I mention cute? Wait, I'm straying off topic! Anyway, it may look like that but it really keeps in all the heat! Do you know what it's like to run around like that in a jacket like this!? I'm practically sweating a waterfall here! I stop running, not even wondering why I didn't stop earlier. I look up to take in my surroundings.

Hmm... fog...

I turn to my right, only to find fog.

Then I tuned to my left, only to get the same result.

Up? No...

Down? Uh-uh...

Back? Na-dah...

Front again? Nope...

Everywhere I looked had fog!

Fog, fog, fog, and more fog! What's wrong with this fog!? Then something quirked my attention. It was day time... and there was fog. Why is there fog? It was sunny! As if responding, the dark-gray air tauntingly swirled in the air's placid stillness, as if it had a mind of its own… Something wasn't right... I had seen this type of fog before. But the question was, from where? Then a memory resurfaced. My stomach dropped. I knew where I had seen it before. My eyes widened in shock as the horrifying realization seeped into my body until it drenched me to the core.

But if it's here...then that means-!

Driiinng~.... If possible, my eyes widened even further at the sound.

Driiinng~...There was a disgustingly familiar aching throb forming in my head.

Driiinng~ Oh no, not this noise...

I knew that I couldn't lose myself because if I did then else both of our efforts would have been in vain. Reaching into my jacket, I pulled out a syringe gun from my pocket before stabbing the needle at my exposed neck. My head relied back when I felt the contents take immediate effect. The pain started to dulled but then again, so did my senses. I looked at my hand and flexed it but couldn't feel the pressure or movement from my hands. Side effects…

Then there was a loud noise; the sound of crunching metal. I couldn't help but grin at the sound.

It was so close!

I sped off in the said direction. The noise rang four times before I neared my destination. Drrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng~Now that makes ring number five.

When I turned the corner, I was met with the scene of a white cheetah draped over a car. I momentarily sighed with relief, I made it... But my relief was short lived when a pink and orange blur shot down from the heavens, before crashing onto the white cat, the blow crushing the monstrous creature. As the car bent inward, its windows shattered as debris flew and scattered out in random directions. Droplets of red flew from the feline's mouth. I was appalled at the sight of its reduced state.

He was losing? I thought just as the albino lashed out a claw at the pink and orange blur, just barely missing it when it jumped away.

I turned to look at the person or thing that had reduced him to this state but was stopped short, a fist abruptly colliding with my cheek. My mind reeled from the sudden blow. WHO THE HECK WOULD HIT A GIRL!? Looking down, I turned to see a familiar pair of abnormal colored eyes.

Oh... that explains it... Que sweat drop.

Honestly, this should've been expected.

Cap-boy... He was glaring at me with a pissed off expression and I could've cared less, giving him the oh-it's-just-you look. Of course my cheek hurt but I just wanted piss him off. A part of me was still pissed about the fact that they ditched me so I quirked a brow and gave him the infamously irritated, what-do-you-want, look just to piss him off even more. He flung his hand to the side and pointed before yelling-

"FIX- US- NOW!"

I turned to see what the fuss was about and, much to my surprise; Boomer and Pony-tail were covering their ears in pain. Turned back at the cap boy, I saw that he too had his ears covered. All three of them panting, their faces constricted in pain, and their skin layered in a thin sheet of sweat. I was dumbstruck. I thought humans aren't affected by the noise?! Instinctively my hand covered the place where Cap-boy had previously hit me. Then again, maybe they weren't human? The thought came out more as a question, my mind still perplexed why I had gotten hurt by his hits. Reaching into my jacket, I pulled out three pods before inserting them into the syringe gun. Might as well help them. My actions weren't out of sympathy, empathy, nor compassion. No, I just wanted to avoid causing any more trouble.

Drrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng~

My eyes widened. Uh oh.

I turned around and saw a flash of purple.

So much for avoiding trouble...

Things were about to get more chaotic.

_(*ω)_ Third POV_ \()_

When the resounding echo subsided, a forbidding silence took its place. The feline's pupils shrunk to the size of black beads before they faded into the whites of the eye, vanishing from sight, and leaving the two blank pools of white. The felines head bent backwards in pain and let out a cry of pain. A flash of purple erupted from the albino monster, or more specifically, his spots. Once the color of ink, the now purple spots began to glow with a purple light. The tail bent over his body in an arch and then the tip of its tail pointed before shooting out a claw like needle out of the very tip. Its form resembling that of a scorpion with its tail poised to fight.

Blossom stood oblivious to her opponent's power up, still dazed in a trance. The whites of her eyes still flickering from the blinding light to her normal her non-white-glowing pink irises before quickly flickering with light once more in a seemingly never ending cycle. The giant albino gave a running start in her direction. The teen's eyes looked on, almost numbly, in the same direction that the feline charged and yet no fear, not even the slightest emotion, reflected in those flickering eyes. It was as if she didn't even notice its existence.

As the great cat drew nearer, there was finally a sign of life in the entranced teen.

The strawberry blonde's chin rose a fraction of an inch and her gaze locked onto the cheetah's barreling figure, its presence now acknowledged. Her face softly scrunched up in a gentle confusion as if she was trying to recall something important.

Meanwhile a certain white haired woman just finished injecting a serum into Brick's system when she witnessed the strange behavior of the young heroine. She pulled out a syringe, which had a blue gel on the tip of the needle, and held it out to Brick, of whom gave the and-what-do-you-expect-me-to-do-with-that look. When he made no move to take the medicine, she shoved it into his reluctant hands.

"You're going to inject this-" Gesturing at the syringe in his hands. "-into her."

Her? Brick had an inkling on who 'her' was but didn't dare to acknowledge it.

The lady pointed in the direction of the said person in a silent command for him to look. He did reluctantly and found that his suspicion was unfortunately correct. Great... She was talking about the pink hag.

If she thinks I'm gonna help her then she's gotta another thing coming to her! Brick thought as he watched, with some satisfaction, as the dazed heroine get whacked into the air by the albino cat's giant tail; if it wasn't for his current situation he would've laughed. Just before he could voice his refusal, a thought crossed his mind.

Wait... Will it help her?

Suspiciously eyeing the syringe's contents, Brick spoke in a gruff tone. "Soo...", momentarily pausing to brush his thumb over the transparent glass, "What will it do?".

"It's going get her out of the same trance that you were just in." She dismissed as she applied a gel onto the arm of his blue attired brother. It was an ointment, which she previously used on him, that allowed the needle to penetrate their hard as steel skin.

He knew it... She wanted him to help her.

Him, a Ruff, go and help- no- savea girl and not just any girl, a PowerPuff girl.

A Ruff save a Puff?

No. Freaking. Way.

Hell might as well freeze over before that happens.

Reading his thoughts, which were betrayed by the resentment written all over his facial features, the woman stopped her applying the gel on the blue ruff and stood to tower over the younger teen.

"And you are going to do it whether you want to or not." She declared in a commanding tone that successfully hid the older teen's inner confusion.

What was going on? She thought that these guys were concerned about the girl, the redhead boy in particular. She especially thought this when he made that overly confident (well from how she perceived it) defense for this heroine from when she had first encountered them. So it was only natural for her to believe that the 'us' in his claim of 'fix us now' included the strawberry blond heroine. Now however... she could tell that wasn't the case. Even if the boy didn't want to help that girl and even if she wasn't obliged to help the girl, she wasn't just going to stand by and let the bloodshed happen.

Especially if it was caused by a dear friend. She thought as her concerned eyes darted to the fight. However she couldn't go help that girl personally when she still had two patients to tend to. Hey, how was she supposed to know that injecting the serum into them would be so troublesome? So, just as she always says, when your hands are tied- you get someone else to cut the ropes.

And that's exactly what I intend to do. She thought as Brick glares her down.

"Oh yeah? What happens if I don't?" Brick defiantly questions, pissed that the lady had the nerve to order him around.

Who did she think she was? Brick thought as his eye started to twitch. He didn't have to oblige to her.

"I won't help your brothers." She replied as she crossed her arms.

She earned an eye roll. Pssh, as if Brick would let that get to him.

"You don't have to because I don't need it!" Brick spat, believing that he had the upper-hand.

"Oh and why is that?"

"Because of this." Brick said as he held up the syringe in his hand.

"You do know I only gave you one of those… right?"

"Yeah."

"… Um… Don't you have two brothers?"

"That's a stupid question."

"Then how are you going to give one shot to two people?" She questioningly pointed out, completely ignoring the previously implied insult.

"I'm not. I'm going to kick your ass and get another one." Brick said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Before he could launch a punch, the girl once again replied to continue the conversation that he assumed was already over.

"If it was as easy as that I would have been done already." She responds as she crosses her arms. He should have known that by now. After all, he was the witness to the murder of dozens of innocent needles that perished by the hands of his hard as steel skin.

At this Brick was left speechless-, stumped-, and just left in complete, utter irritation at the fact that he was unable to conjure up a comeback. His brows furrowed and eyes squinted ever- so- slightly in a futile effort to convey his irritation.

"You don't have to if you don't want to... Yes, I'm sure you'll have everything under control even without my help but that requires a lot of patience." She said implying the threat in her indifferent tone, knowing that she had won. Brick's eyes narrowed dangerously at the threat, his eyes gleamed with malice.

She wouldn't dare... He thought but the look in her eyes told him it otherwise.

He silently cursed at his idiocy. Here he was having a stupid debate while his brothers writhed in pain. Brick didn't prolong the conversation, as if the small act of atonement would redeem him of his mistake, and without another word he darted off to aid the heroine with the syringe clenched in his hand. Brick blindly ran in a mad dash with no specific destination in mind as he ferociously searched for the battle. He didn't have to look for very long because a short distance away from him there was an explosion of asphalt. Through the dust, he could see Hyper Blossom lying at the center of a crater in a little more than barely conscious state. Her expression scrunched in slight pain, and her eyes glazed in a dream like trance: conscious yet unconscious.

His eyes caught a blur of white; Brick didn't hesitate to dive for the strawberry blond before hurling both of them out of harm's way. He did it in the nick of time too because the millisecond after that another cloud burst from behind. Knowing he didn't have time to turn and check, Brick sped off and away from the perusing offender.

Was he running?

Nooooo.

Of course not!

Not in the slightest!

Him, Brick Jojo, running from an overgrown cat?

Psshhh~ Whaaaaaaa?!

That's nonsense!...

Hahaha… ha…

He was just... demonstrating a mere act of rebellion from his original orders to 'help her' by distancing himself away from the opponent enough so he could inject the serum without any disturbances. In this, he would thus avoid the situation where he would have no choice but to physically defend himself against their assaulter. If that situation would ever to occur it would dreadfully lead up to the inevitable yet also unwilling action of him having to defend, in otherwise known as protecting, the pink heroine.

Yeah… he'll go with that.

Of course because his flailing and comically graceless movements of dodging the detached-claw missiles shot at them while clutching his self proclaimed arch nemesis to chest in a princess hold was all part of his plan…yeah, that's it… He had everything completely under control of… whatever that was… That was until the ground vanished from under him.

An explosion erupted from beneath his footing, launching Brick forward.

"Ah-!"

His eyes constricted at the sight of the rapidly approaching ground. Flipping in mid air, he managed to land on his feet, currently kneeling on the ground. Brick let out a sigh of relief. His red eyes wondered to his passenger's indifferent and dirt covered face before a vein pulsed with annoyance on his brow, a glare taking form on his face.

This is freaking stupid!

He shouldn't being doing all of this shit! All he was supposed to do was to just give the stupid girl the stupid shot! Digging in his pockets, Brick got out the syringe- but before he could give her the shot he was hit from behind. His body arced forward from the force, the air knocked from his lungs, and his grip loosened on the syringe. The purple spotted albino drilled the flat of its paw into his back before he whipped the two humans aside with its tail.

A strained noise escaped from Brick's lips when the tail made contact, "Geeh-ak!"

The force made it slip. His pained eyes cracked open to see. His squinted red eyes glared at his hand in helpless rage as the shot slipped from his grasp… The two red heads' figures rocketed towards a telephone post. Instinctively, Brick turned himself around so his back would take the blow and prevent taking it face first, failing to notice that this would also keep the girl in his arms from harm. After the quick gong and dent of the post from impact, Brick sank to the ground. His eyes darted open as he franticly scanned the sky for the syringe.

There!

His eye locked on the target as the tool started its descend to the ground. Unconsciously tightening his grip on the heroine, Brick made a mad dash for the medical tool but halfway he was forced to stop in order to jump away from the pouncing feline. His eyes glanced at the syringe as it grew closer to the ground. He dreaded what he knew would happen next- but he had no choice! Brick reluctantly took off his cap and quickly threw it to cushion the shot's landing.

With a small bounce on impact, it landed… safely in the center of the cap.

Brick let out a mental sigh of relief. However his moment was short lived when he was once again attacked forcefully pulled back into the heat of battle. Due to his preoccupied hands, Brick was only able to barley dodge the attacks. Time to go on offense. Adjusting the girl in his arms, Brick used his right hand to hold the currently useless heroine and the other to fish for the straw in his pockets.

Breathe…

Aim…

Fire!

Spitballs flew by the numbers, blurs of white soaring at the speed of bullets. Quick pew's echoed, signaling the slicing of air. To increase his agility, Brick continued to fire as he circled the beast at a fast pace, skating on the blades of his shoes. The seemingly weak and idiotic weapon's power quite contraries its appearance- meaning that it looked weak but it hurt like hell! When stray wads missed their initial target, they would explode the surface of the object they did hit, dust would fly, and there would be a fist sized crater surrounding the pea sized wad.

Lethal spitballs… Who knew?

This continued. Brick firing and skating while he carrying a girl. Giant albino cheetah kept trying to attack with its tail and claws while trying to deflect and block most of the wads. As for Blossom… well… she was still in la la-land.

Curr-BAM!

Brick's back slammed against the side of a building. The window at his right shattered when the wall cracked behind him. A burning sensation erupted from upper left side of his body. Brick felt like he was on fire. Grimacing through the pain, Brick strained open a narrowed eye. Through the clearing dust, something white and as thick as a bat held him up by the shoulder. A second later, he realized that the scenario was worse. The claw like stinger at the tip of the albino's tail was embedded into his left shoulder. Knowing that had somehow made the feeling even worse; it was as if the flesh of his upper torso was burning from the inside and out.

His legs hung limply from being held feet off of the ground. It felt as if electricity was running through his arm and causing the arm that held his straw to twitch, before the straw fell to the ground blow. Though most people would be scared if they placed in that position, Brick on the other hand wasn't like most people.

Brick clenched his teeth.

THIS FUCKING BASTARD!

Instead of fearing for his life- he just got even more furious. A blind white rage churned and boiled in his stomach at his helplessness; he hated it. What really set him off though was the fact that he lost his grip on a weightless straw while the girl in the other arm was tightly secured, still held in a one- armed princess hold. He was so blinded his by rage that he didn't even process that the reason why the straw fell was because the tail's stinger was speared into the shoulder of the arm that held the straw.

Why was he so angry though?

Was he furious that he dropped something much lighter than what the other held? Was it because of the meaning between the two? -That he held onto, and was able to keep a grip on, his self- proclaimed nemesis but was unable to do the same for his straw. -That he had dropped the only item, other than his hat, which he had with him for as long as he could remember? -Or could it be the fact that he was pinned to the wall by the tail of an over grown fuzz-ball? Maybe it was the berating eyes and superior look hidden beneath waves of the feline's murderous killing intent. -Or could it be that he finally realized that he was indirectly, or directly, protecting the puff? If anything, it could just be that he was finally sick and tired of fighting handy capped. But regardless of the reason, two things were for certain.

Brick was losing.

And he was pissed.

Without another thought, Brick dropped the pink heroine who, even when dropped carelessly, landed almost soundlessly on her side. Now with both hands free, Brick grabbed the tail that was lodged into his shoulder and pulled, his veins bulging from the strain. His fury glossed his eyes in a red shine. His grip tight, his jaw clenched, teeth bared, and a very focused- very concentrated- hate filled glare was pointed at two blank pools of white that equally glimmered with blind fury.

His lips and clenched jaw opened up a sliver as his voice strained into words.

"Get…" He panted quietly.

"The…" His voice was rising.

"Fuck…" His arms trembled with anger fueled power.

"OFF ME!"

In a blooming spurt of red, Brick dislodged the white-stained-red tail from his shoulder. Brick gave the steel-hard tail a bone crushing squeeze, minding to vengefully dig his nails into the soaked fur, before he shoved away the thing that pinned him against the wall. Then Brick fell, landing feet away from the puff, with his hand gripped onto his open wound. Streams of blood dribbled out from the cracks of his fingers as he applied pressure until it slowed. In one swift movement, Brick swiped up his straw before tuck in rolling to dodge the spearing tail. The onslaught of attacks distanced Brick from both the serum and Blossom. Standing on the black broken asphalt, Brick launched forward with a fist and with the landing of the blow- the fighting commenced. Exchanging blow after blow, claws meeting fists, straw to tail, glare to glare.

Then the fight met a stalemate. Weather fighting from close range or long range neither got the upper hand. Sweat collected on Brick's brow before trailing down his face. Despite the tight situation and exhaustion, Brick couldn't help but smirk. He was tired yes and it was true that he hated the reasons why he was fighting, but it's his first time fighting like this, using all of his power, his strength. It was awesome, thrilling; it gave him a type of satisfaction he never got in his previous battles. He was honestly enjoying himself.

Then again, he would've also enjoyed robbing the arcade for free games and money with his brothers.

BAM!

Brick's head whipped to the side, the tail hitting him right across the face. His figure flew feet into the air before slamming on the ground. Laying flat on his back, Brick drank in air, refilling his winded lungs before flipping back onto his feet… That was the first blow that was exchanged for a while... He'd be damned if he wasn't the one to deal the rest of them.

And that he did.

With a storm of white, Brick shot a hurricane of wads at his opponent. The cheetah was at the will and mercy of the blows. The blows making temporary craters in the body, each hit making the albino feline body jerk with each contact, as if it was simultaneously being punched by multiple arms. The creator slowly slides backwards as its feet dug into the ground, fighting to keep its footing.

After awhile, Brick had to breathe… and the firing ceased.

The albino cat slumped in its crouched position, exhausted. It's grimed up white fur was completely ruffled, some areas matted down by either blood or sweat. Fangs parted and puffs of hot air panted through a bloody maw. Red mixed with saliva as some streams dribbled to the ground, showing signs of dental and internal damage. Its brows furrowed in a glare but its eyes… Oh its eyes… Its blank, white eyes gave of nothing, no secrets, no will, and no emotion, only glimmering in a fury and anger that seemed blind. All that lay in those empty pools of white was the sole reflection of Bricks own image.

Hmph… The fight's getting boring…

An unknown hooded figure smirked watching from on top of a lamppost, the smoke like fog branching around it to conceal the figure. The man's eyes darted in a direction.

Don't you agree? The smirk widens.

At the same time, the giant felines head turns in the same direction. It was unable to fight back, because for sometime it's neither had the control nor the awareness of its actions.

Brick followed the train of sight…

…and his eyes widened.

Get the girl…

Diiing~

GaRUooh~! The cheetah pounced… but a red blur quickly followed.

_(*ω)_Third POV_ \()_
._ :…Currently in a Water park, far away from the battle…: _.

Sniff….

Water glistened down the rounded peach-red colored rocks. Snort… Water trickled in thin streams like cool, liquid glass before they curved over the cliff as one, combining into a curtain of water. Snort… Specks of white flowing in the air, having broken from the curtain, before breaking into smaller specks and creating a mist. Twitch… Mini rainbows sparkle in their small radiance, the colors mimicking the ones of the many waterslides in the distance. "Ahhh-!"In the background, roars of laughter and fear erupted from the slides just as water spewed into the air with pressurized strength. The newly formed little droplets and mist glowed and glistened with white before glimmering in multiple colors. The brilliant specks flowed through the breeze… before finally landing on the arm of a thirteen year old brunette wearing a green and yellow one piece swimsuit. A vein pulsed on the temple of the familiar green eyed young teen as she lifted her trembling fist to her face, her patience bursting.

"DANG IT, SHOU! STOP SPEWING YOUR STUPID SNOT ON ME!" Kaoru shouted, waving her arm in front of her as she chased her runny-nosed little brother.

"Ahhh~! Someone help! There's an ogre chasing me!" Shou laughed with a wide grin on his face, his hands waving in the air in mock terror instead of using them to wipe the snot that had dribbled to the left cheek and ending just before his scar. Seeing the ridiculous sight, Kaoru couldn't help but feel her anger diminish. With a toothy- grin and furrowed brows, Kaoru feigned her anger.

"Why you-! Fine you wanna see an ogre?! I'll show you an ogre!" Kaoru yelled as her grin turned into a challenging smirk. Picking up her speed, she planned to give her brother a noogie he'd never forget. Just because she wasn't as angry as she looked doesn't mean that she'd let him off the hook like that. Shou felt his blood chill at the look of determination in his sister's eyes. The grass haired boy's eyes dilated in terror and actually let out a scream, in a fear of being caught. "Aahhh! Stay away!"

Shou was stopped dead in his tracks when his older brother, Dai, blocked his path with a very big water gun aimed in his direction. "Big bro… what are you going to doing with that!?" Shou asked with a slight quiver in his voice but his brother only replied with just a mischievous smirk. Pumping the pump, Dai mockingly reprimanded, "Oh little brother… doesn't mom always tell you to- WASH YOUR FACE!". His brows furrowed in triumph as he squirted his little brother in the face, successfully washing the snot off his face. Kaoru, using the distraction to her advantage, sneaks behind her younger brother before trapping him in head lock and giving the noogie she promised she would. Dai fired at his two younger siblings as the youngest Matsubara struggled to get out of the middle child's hold.

As all three siblings laughed and screamed, a blonde girl with curly- pigtailed went to the refreshment stand. Guys blushed instantly when the cute girl, wearing her cute, light blue and white frilled one piece swimsuit, walk past them. She smiled and thanked gracefully to the people who complemented her. Reaching the counter, Miyako pulled out a small light blue purse and ordered the Frozen Tropical special. The uniformed man smiled before taking the money. Before long he handed her a foot tall, clear, plastic parfait cup that was layered with a ring slice of pineapple at the bottom, shaved ice above it, pineapple slice, shaved ice, and shaved ice piled in a small mountain at the top. The drink was filled with raspberry soda, turning the shaved ice blue. The small pile of shaved ice at the top of the drink was blue except for the peak which was blue. The finishing touches of the slushy like drink special was a long pink bendy straw, red hibiscus flower, and a ring slice of pineapple which hung on the on the edge of the glass. Seeing the design, Miyako couldn't help but smile at the beverage. Sipping her drink, Miyako began to walk back to her club mates. The people from her school club decided to hang out at the pool today. Taking a glance at the delicious drink, Miyako couldn't help but think of one of her best friends, Momoko.

She would've loved this drink…Maybe I can invite her and Kaoru next time. She smiled at the thought. There was an abrupt shout to her left. "OI MIYAKO! Oi!" Miyako's eyebrows shot up in surprise. She didn't expect to hear that voice at the water park. Turning to her left, she saw that the said person looked like he wasn't expecting to be in a water park either.

"Ken?!" Miyako shouts with her mouth slightly a gape.

She stood there watching as his short figure came running in her direction, his lab coat flapping behind him as he ran. He skidded to a stop right in front of her, bent over with his palm on his bent knees, and panted from exhaustion. After catching his breath, Ken looked up as if to say something but stopped short as he spotted her drink. He gulped, suddenly and painfully aware how thirsty he was. All that running around could do that to a ten year old kid. Miyako notice his staring and offered him her drink which he gladly, not to mention eagerly, accepted. Miyako just watched the young boy as he ate, patiently waiting for him to finish.

She smiles and stares…

Sluuuuurp~! Ken idiotically grins as he slurped from the pink straw.

Stare…

Sluuuuuuuuurp~! Ken finishes half of the drink.

Stare…

CHOMP! He bites into the pineapple slice.

Stare…

Chew, chew, chew…

Stare… awkward smile…

Ahh~mp, Ahmp, ahmp…

What a strange noise to make while eating shaved ice… Miyako couldn't help but sweat drop as her brows furrowed upwards. Even though it hasn't been the first time I've heard that noise… She thought as the sound reminded her of both of her best friends.

SLU-uuuuuuuuuuuurrrp~!

Ah… He finished the drink in one go! She couldn't help but gape.

CRUNCH! Chomp, chew, chomp! Ken smiled as he scarfed down the pineapple.

Stares…

AaH-MPH!

Miyako watched as Ken tipped the glass upside down but before she could say something, the rest of the shaved ice fall in his mouth.

Oh no… She thought.

Miyako winced as she waited for the expected. On que, Ken's eyes shot open. His eyes dilated, showing only shock and pain. He clenched his head with shivering hands as he screeched softly in a broken voice. "Bra- brain freeze!" Miyko instructed for him to put the pad of his thumb on the roof of his mouth. They waited as his brain freeze subsided. When it did, Ken opened his mouth and- "Wan~!" Ken slapped a hand over his mouth.

Did he… just bark?

Awkward silence…

Ken shook his head, This isn't time to being this! Once again he opened his mouth and- "Wan! Wan, wa, wan!" He only gaped in shock. Miyako started to grin, her eyes focused in the distance as she saw the problem. Ken thought he was going crazy until. "KEN DE WAN! I've been calling you, de wan!" ….. He knew that bark sounded familiar… Ken turned around to see Peach running towards him… with a rubber inner tube around his waist, goggles, and a snorkeler on…?

"Peachy? Where did you go?" Ken asked quirking a brow. Peach fumed when it heard that, puffing his robotic cheeks as proof.

"That's what I should be saying, da wan! We were just walking and when you suddenly screamed, wan! Then you just run off before saying anything, da wan! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS CHASING YOU, WAN!?" Peach screamed, standing on two legs while waving his front paws for dramatic effect. His eyes widened, realizing the truth in the little dog's words. Rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, Ken bowed his head with an apologetic smile as he looked down at his robotic friend.

"Ah. Sorry about that Peachy…"

Peach glared and puffed his cheeks before sighing, unable to stay angry any longer. "As long as you're sorry, da wan."

"So what are you doing dressed up like that?" Ken asked, pointing to Peach's outfit.

"Oh since we were going to the water park, I thought I should dress up wan! If you want to Ken, you can use the goggles and snorkel, da wan."

"No thank you Peachy. I'm good. Thanks for the offer though, b-" Assuming he was done, Miyako added.

"Are you feeling better now Ken?" Talking about the drink he just had. Ken nodded in reply, a grateful smile directed at Miyako.

"Ah, thank you. Sorry about for drinking it all though… I'll pay you back!"

Miyako shook her head. "No it's fine, I had my fill on it. Besides it was too big for me to finish any way."

"Wan! Hey Miyako, de wan!"

"Hi Peachy, I haven't seen you guys in a while."

"Un, it's been almost a month right, da wan."

"Eh? Really?" Ken gasped.

"Well, in person that is wan…"

"Your right." Everyone smiles without a care in the world; sparkles seemed to shimmer in the air at that fond moment of reunion…

What the heck is with this nonchalant atmosphere?

"HEY! THERE'S THE BRAT! GET HIM!"

"AHHHH!"

Never mind…

Ken screams as he grabs onto Miyako and Peach before high tailing it out of there. The guards were hot on his trail as he dragged Miyako and Peach away by their heels. Ken made a break through the gift shop (accidently knocking over some stuff), weaved through the long line for the water slides (which made many people angry), a sharp turn by the restrooms (accidently knocking a man into the very full women's restroom), over the rubber tubes rental pile (unintentionally kicking some rubber tubes into people's faces), before finally diving into a bush that was stationed between the entertainment stage and the food court… Meaning that after all that running, the total distance from where he started to run away to where he was currently hiding, were just two feet away from each other...

"Ano… Ken. Why were you being chased?" Miyako whispered to the ten year old.

"Um…" Ken stalled, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. Miyako looked at Peach expectedly but the robotic dog just shrugged his shoulders.

"I… kinda… sort of didn'tpaybecauseIleftmywalletathome…" Ken said with upraised furrowed brows and his eyes narrowed at the ground. He was ashamed of his actions but he had to get to Miyako and those guards wouldn't let him in… It wasn't like he meant to kick them in the face! He was just trying to break free! ... That and he really didn't want this to get on his permanent record…

Miyako just took that answer in stride.

"And why was getting in here so important that you had to break into here to do so?" Miyako asked gently, having experience with Kaoru and Momoko in these types of situations.

Realization hit Ken and Peach like lightning, their eyes wide as if woken from a dream. In the passion of the moment, Ken and Peach quickly stood with their hands fisted near their faces. The trio were oblivious to the fact that there was a misplaced stage mic near the ten year old's face as the passionate duo shout out.

"THAT'S RIGHT! THERE'S A MONSTER FIGHT DOWN TOWN", there seemed to be an inaudible dramatic pause that hung in the air, "-AND BLOSSOM'S FIGHTING ALONE!". The listeners gasped in shock as dead silence filled the park.

Like a dagger, guilt and regret pierced at Miyako's heart. The pupils in her big blue eyes constricted into small dots, like a dime in a dinner plate. For almost an entire month, she had gotten so used to the fact of there not being any monster attacks that she became naïve and left her belt at home. She felt shame flush hot against her face. She could say that it was her first time leaving it behind, but that would be a lying… How could I let myself do something so irresponsible? It's unforgiveable! Her fists balled up, her mind stuck on self anger. Some heroine of justice I am… Miyako abruptly stood, the leaves from the surrounding bush rustling around her. But still… With a look of determination, Miyako ran full speed out of their hiding spot and towards the changing room to get dressed. …heroine or not, Momoko-chan is my friend and needs me right now! I can't let her down any more than I already have!

Meanwhile in another part of the water park, Kaoru had dropped her water gun from shock. "Ken!?" She whipped her head in the direction of the entertainment stage. Thanks to the fact that the speakers for the stage were link throughout the park, practically everyone heard Ken scream. What's he doing here!? She shook her head, that didn't matter. She knew what Ken said was the truth; there was no reason to lie about a subject like that. Murmurs of concern and worried erupted, gossiping around the park. She turned to look at her brothers, telling them that she remembered that she had something to do before running for the changing rooms. AH MAN! Dang it, why did I leave my belt at home!? She thought before picking her pace, her arms pumping furiously at her sides. Running to the door, Kaoru skidded to a stop before she bumped into someone rounding the corner. The two made a noise out of shock before both looked up to apologize to the other. Their voices caught and died in their throats as they saw the other's face.

"Waaah! It's you!" They shrieked simultaneously, pointing at the other with large eyes.

"Ken? What's wrong da wan?" Peach asked walking around the boy before his eyes widened in shock.

"Kaoru wan! What are you doing here wan!?" Peach screeched, pointing a paw in the green puff's direction. That snapped Kaoru and Ken out of their shock. Cocking up a brow, Kaoru looked a Peach questioningly. Why was he asking that? Weren't they here to alert her? Wasn't that announcement for her to- . Then someone wearing white shorts, matching sandals, and light blue top walked out of the changing rooms with a light blue changing bag in hand. Kaoru's eyes lit up with comprehension as the pieces fell into place.

"Ken-kun, what are you doing on the floor?" Her eyes shifted from the boy to the other person who was getting up. Her eyes widened and brows shot into the air when she saw who it was.

"Eh? Kaoru-chan? What are you doing here?" She asked, watching her green team mate dust off herself off.

"I can ask the same thing, but we should save that for later."

Everyone nodded in agreement as they went their separate ways. With Kaoru running into the woman's changing room to change clothes. Miyako was making a dash for the entrance of the water park to head home. Peach chased after Ken. While Ken… well… he was trying to doge the guards while looking for a back door to sneak out of.

_(*ω)_Third POV_ \()_
- Back with Brick -

Brick watched as his opponent abruptly broke eye contact. The large feline's head pointed in off in another direction. Its empty eyes locked onto another target in the distance. Unknown to the young teen, a hidden figure watched within spectating distance, a smirk widening underneath his hood. And after a eerie moment of dramatic hesitance, Brick moved, a bead of sweat forming on his temple.

Brick followed the train of sight… and stopped.

His eyes widened…

Shrouded in the fog, the hidden figure's shadowed expression warped into one of sadistic pleasure. The eyes hidden beneath his hood gleamed. A black metallic staff took form in his hand. He decided to give the next attack a little more…. umph... Lingering the staff just above the lamppost he stood on.

He tapped the staff.

Get the girl…

Diiing~

Like a switch being flipped, the white beast opened its maw and let out a roar, GaRUooh~! Then it pounced, it's purple spots faintly glowing.

Brick's rage reached a whole new level. How dare it try to attack what he was trying to protect! He jumped on the side of an abandoned moving truck and launched himself into the albino's side, knocking the big cat over and onto the road. Momentarily lying on the side of the beast, Brick looked in the direction where the feline was heading at. His eyes narrowed with worry before he inhaled.

"BOOMER! BUTCH! RUuuuuN!"

The white haired lady turned at the shout, locks of her white hair spinning in the process. Her eyes widened from behind her shades as she mentally pieced the scenario together. This was bad… she still hasn't been lucky at getting the needle to pierce their skin. She looked over at the two unconscious boys; they had passed out a little before Cap-boy had left. A bead of sweat dropped down the side of her face. What the hell did she get herself into?

Brick saw the hesitance and furrowed his brows into a scowl. However, before he could do anything he fell to the ground at the abrupt movement of the albino getting back up. Brick, in a desperate attempt, grabbed the creature by the tail and heaved it into the air before flipping it above him and onto its back and slamming it into the ground, the faint glowing of the creatures spots glowed more distinctively against his black gloves. Letting go of the creatures tail, he glared at the stupid white haired lady. He hated that he had to leave it up to a girl to keep his brothers safe but… he had no other choice. His face narrowed in pain and incapability as he got up and swiped his hand in front of him and yelled.

"What the hell are you doing!?"

She looked back to look at him in surprise and gapped at the boy… Instead of grabbing the boys and running the hell away from there, she just stared at the younger boy. Brick couldn't believe this lady! Are you freaking kidding me!?

"GET THEM THE HELL AWAY FROM HERE!" Brick shouted just as a paw tried to smash him.

He squatted low, his butt inches from touching the ground, and brought his arms over his head just in time, preventing the paw from turning him into a human pancake. His eyes squinted and teeth clenched from the strain as he fought to push the giant limb off of him. With a vain pulsing on the side of his head, Brick glared above him at the paw's padding, which threatened to crush him, before a noise grew from his throat as he pushed harder. His muscles underneath his clothing tightened from the effort as he slowly rose higher and higher before he thrust the giant foot off, letting out a relived and victorious shout just as he did so.

"Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh~!"

Brick panted heavily from the achievement as the giant forepaw fell only a couple of feet away from him, a crack forming where it landed. A pained cry was shot through the air as ragged gasping hastily followed. Brick's arm shot to his left shoulder, a warm slippery substance squlished beneath his palm. With heavy lids, Brick backed away quickly, jumping out of close combat rage. Stopping, he pulled his hand back and examined it. The palms of his fingerless gloves were soaked and some of his fingers were smeared with red. Blood… The wound reopened. Che… and just when they were starting to heal… Then his crimson eyes glimmered with recollection as he threw his head back to where his brothers where… but all he saw was just an empty side walk… Brick could feel relief swell in his heart, knowing that they were out of harm's way… but there was another feeling. A heaviness that balanced his heart's swelling… a heaviness that felt empty, lost even, with touch of panic… What was that?... wait… was that… fear?

Brick Jojo… was afraid?

He's been with them since he could remember. They were always together and have been that way for years. He has never been very far from his brothers before… Even if he wasn't able to see them, he knew they would stay nearby, or he would at least know where they were… but now… He didn't have a clue how far they were or where they were at. Even if he himself didn't know it, nor would he ever admit it even if he did know… He was scared by the fact… that he wasn't with them.

He was alone…

The battle's spectator watched from his perched area. His eyes narrowed with annoyance. He knew it… If he wanted to finish his stupid job, he would have to get rid of the boy first… He wondered in the corner of his mind, Why hasn't he dropped dead yet?

Pwuum! Pwuum! Pwuum!

Brick agilely skated away from the pin missiles shot at him, leaving a zigzag pattern of cone shaped claws in his wake. Brick looked up, his eyes shimmering with adamant resolve. Just because his brothers weren't here didn't mean that he needed them beat this thing. He alone was more than enough…

The purple spotted albino charged at the red ruff and slashed at him with his claws. Brick was sent crashing through a window of a hair parlor, glass flying around his figure. The shards mirrored multiple reflections of his flying figure and of the droplets of red, which spilled from the fresh gashes on his chest. Blood mingled in the air with the broken glass. One shard reflected Brick's image before being stained red. With a shatter, the ruff's side collided with the mirror covered wall… Shaking his head to remove the glass from his hair, Brick sneered distastefully at the shards around him. Of all the shattered windows in the surrounding areas, he just had a fly through the one that was still intact. Jumping out of the small parlor, Brick kept his eyes locked on the white cheetah that prowled towards him. They both charged at each other, their feet practically flying. The feline's paw stretched forward and Brick brought his fist back, ready to counter it. Just when Brick prepared for another heated battle, the cheetah brought its other paw forward… before literally stepping on the red ruff and continuing on its way.

Brick laid on the ground staring at the sky in shock.

What the heck just happened?

Did a giant cat literally walked all over me like I was nothing but a bug?

Surprisingly and uncharacteristically calm, Brick sat up before turning around to face what the white cheetah was running at. When he saw, he remembered what he was doing and stumbled into a mad dash. Just as Brick ran, the purple spotted beast slowed his pace until he stopped right above a figure lying on her side with her back facing the wall she slightly leaned on. The giant feline brought his paw and lightly batted the puff so she would roll right under his larger frame. Her dirt cover figure rolled to a stop when she hit his other paw. It's blank, white eyes fixed on her half lidded, unfocused ones.

In the distance, the hidden spectator knew that in order to finish the boy, he had to distract him. It's a shame he had to use the girl to do it. It had been so much fun to watch her struggle and quite entertaining when she almost won… Oh well… His eyes narrowed on the two distant figures. The beast opened its mighty jaws, a threatening hiss escaping its fanged mouth. Blossom's hair moving with each breath it takes. The feline's face hovered ever still above her indifferent one.

Finish it…

Then it dove. It's fangs ready to pierce flesh and jaws prepared to crush… Fwooosh! Brick rolled like a log, spinning out of control down the road until he came to a stop. He sucked in air, gasping for breath. I made it… He thought looking at the female nuisance in his arms. He was getting tired of having to hold her and he despised how many times he had to touch her. But he could bet his hat that if he let this girl die, the white haired hag wouldn't like it… He didn't want his brothers to suffer the consequences just because of his discomfort with this girl and her cooties.

Pwuum! Pwuum! Pwuum! Pwuum! Pwuum!

"Eh!" Brick's eyes widened when he saw the cat launch the pin missiles from his tail.

In a blur, he rolled a couple of feet to his left, avoiding a missile, only to drastically change course and make a sharp roll to the right, the next claw like missile tearing through a small part of the back of his jacket. Doing a front flip to stand on his feet, Brick quickly kneeled on his knees, avoiding the missile's head shot, and carried the heroine in a princess hold. His right arm around her back and gripped her shoulder and his left arm, of which his blood stained shoulder was still healing annoyingly slow, held the back of her knees. Then he narrowly missed the next shot at his feet by jumping away. That was close… He thought as a bead of sweat rolled off his temple, trailing into the air… It was too soon to be thinking of such relieving things. As he landed from the last doge he made. His body was angled at the ground, so when his outstretched foot hit on a piece of derby. His body lost balance. Brick felt himself falling backwards but his focus was on what his eyes were trained on in the sky above them.

Time slowed… It was the last pin missile… He was falling… It was four feet from its target… His bangs framed his sight… and at the center of his sight was a white circle… Three feet from target… The circle grew bigger, drawing nearer… Two feet from target… It was a white circle that he knew was a like a spear that would impale him if he didn't move… One foot from target… His eyes constricted… Eleven inches from target… His will still burned brightly… Ten inches from target… Brick struggled to move but he was still falling, no grounding to move himself with... Nine inches from target… Was time really moving that slowly? … Eight inches… Brick's eyes constricted even more as he continued to fail to move out of the way… Seven inches… Come on, C'MON! MOVE, MOVE!... Six inches... DAMN IT!... Five… Why was time so cruelly slow? … Four… He was still falling, and he bet that three seconds haven't even passed yet… Three… He tore his eyes from the missile and lowered his gaze… Two… His eyes widened with realization… One.

In a fraction of an instant, Brick shoved the pink puff out of his arms and used the movement as a push off, slightly altering his position and the pin missile's original course of target.

The pin missile hit Brick. Brick instinctively closed his right eye as the missile, which spun like a drill, grazed the skin from the bottom of Brick's cheek to the side of his right eye, ending right below his temple. Time sped up, going back to normal. With a loud thud, Brick landed flat on his back. The large white cone speared into the ground between the locks of his hair. The claw's smooth surface pressed up against his cheek. A small red line marked from the cut on his face. His cheek began tingle, feeling the blood clot and then the wound heal. He sat up and looked to where he threw the puff. A vein pulse on his forehead at what he saw. The stupid freaking cat was going after the just as stupid girl again! He got up, grabbed the puff, and jumped out of the way just as a giant paw demolished that part of the side walk, cement flying in chunks onto the black asphalt. Then, with its other paw, it wacked them into the air. The power behind it forced the ruff to drop the puff as he flew.

The car's poor door didn't stand a chance as Brick crashed into it, the metal dented inward. He shot out of the car the second he crashed into it, knowing that if he didn't get the useless girl out of the way then she'd get hit. He launched himself at her before tuck in rolling out of the next attack's range. The ruff ran underneath its large body to avoid getting hit… only to once again get hit and drop Blossom.

The repeated process of get hit, drop girl, grab girl, dodge, get hit, drop girl, grab girl, and doge happened so many times that it was programmed into his mind to grab the orange and pink blur and doge after every time he got hit.

Then he snapped… With a bulging vein on his temple, Brick screamed.

"YOU STUPID OVER GROWN HOUSE CAT-!"

Pwuuum!

Doge.

"STOP-!"

Pwuuum!

Jump.

"FREAKING SHO-!"

Pwuuum!

Doge.

"SHOOTING AT ME AT ME AN-!"

Pwuuum!

Jumps.

Glares.

"AND FIGHT ME SERIOUSLY, DAMN IT!"

Pwuuum!

That was his first sentence during the entire battle.

CRASH!

Brick was sent flying and made sure to keep his grip tight on the girl in his arms, getting tired of chasing after the stupid girl. With rubble falling from his head, he squinted open his eyes, miraculously able to keep his grip on the puff this time. I've had it… That's fine… Juuu-st fine… So it's gonna be like this, huh? You wanna play? Okay then, let's play… He looked to his side as he got up from the sidewalk. A couple of feet away was the bent lamppost that he had crashed into earlier. Brick grinned mischievously, which quickly turned idiotic. He lifted the girl his arms above his head, swaying her slightly side to side. Flowers seemed to bloom in the air he was creating… He looked like a moron… The hidden spectator sweat dropped from the sudden (not to mention very disturbing) change of character.

"Yo~!" Brick cried in a disturbingly cheery voice.

His voice making a three sixty degree turn from his previous burning with passion 'I'm-gonna-destroy-you-weather-you-listen-to-me-or-not-because-you-seriously-piss-me-off' voice to a merry 'I'm-so-happy-that-I-want-to-hug-you-because-I-feel-that-in-order-to-stop-world-hunger-and-create-world-peace-is-to-spread-happiness-everywhere-through-hugs'… No words could describe the wrongness of the situation…

In the back of his mind, Brick laughed sinisterly.

Special move, KISS-ASS LIES! The ruff thought as his imaginary self's shadowed eyes shined…

Still lightly swaying the girl above his head, Brick spoke bashfully. "You wanted the girl right? (You have bad taste in women.) Ah-ha, and here I've been, moving her away from you. (Take that you Baka-neko!) Gomen ne… (What a bunch of bull.)" Brick spoke in a sincere tone as he rubbed the back of his neck and just plain out massaging his sores, adding comments in his head as he spoke.

"Ah man~… I'm really stiff and everywhere on my body aches… Here~!" He set the puff on the sidewalk before walking away, waving his hand over his shoulder as he left. "You can have her! She's being a bother. (Well that part's true.) I won't bother you anymore. I promise! (Not.)" He cheered, his back turned on the white cheetah. His retreating figure disappearing into the fog

Did he hit his head too hard? The hidden spectator thought. Oh well, might as well finish the girl.

As the beast approached the pink puff, Brick's cheery grin morphed back into one of mischief. That's right… Good kitty, take the bait.

Brick waited for the cheetah to get closer. Almost there… There was a sound of twisting metal, Kree~eekAl-most… Kree~eek… A little more…. Kree~eek… NOW! Brick charged at the beast with a horse shoe shaped lamppost. His eyes burned with passion. "FO~RE!"

TWANG!

He swung that lamppost like a pro.

The cat got knocked to the ground, falling on its side. Brick held the ends of the lamppost and brought the ends closer to each other without bending it even more. "LIKE HELL AM I GONNA LOSE TO A GAINT HOUSE CAT!" He yelled. His face chiseled into a scowl. Holding the lamppost above his head, Brick charged at the shaken creature. Then he speared the lamppost into the ground at an angle, catching the upper arm of the albino's front leg between the two ends. Taking advantage of the purple spotted feline's distortion, Brick lunges at two lampposts and repeated the same process on the other front leg and on one of its back legs. Brick then grabbed Blossom and made a break for it while shooting wads at the restrained feline.

That annoying Brat… The spectator thought, angry that his fog was used against him by hiding the boy.

After failing on trying to get out of his restraints, the giant beast shot pin missiles from the tip of his tail at Brick's retreating figure. Brick grinned victoriously as he bladed away from the missiles and out of its firing range. He knew he that he was winning. Now all that's left was to retrieve his hat and give the stupid girl the shot. This is seriously a pain in the-.

Ba-Dump…

Brick stopped moving… A surge pulsed from his wounds throughout his entire body. He felt like there was electricity running all over his skin and liquid fire running through his veins. His eyes constricted slightly, no light emanating from his eyes, due to the shock of the sensation. What… what's happening?

Ba-Dump…

Another wave pulsed through his body. His skin felt like it jumped outward from the strong pulse. The muscles in his limbs abruptly started to constrict and twitch before locking into place. Due to the pain, Brick saw white. It felt like something had taken hold of his limbs and stretched his muscles to the max as the poor tissue was stabbed with knives from every angle.

Ba-Dump…

His knees gave in, buckling under the weight and pain. He couldn't stand any longer. He fell on his side. The girl was laying on one of his arms tucked under her neck and his other was trapped under her curled leg. His vision started to fluctuate. Sweat formed on his brow. His body temperature was rising. The gashes on his chest and the stab wound from in his shoulder were, in the only way he could describe it, as hot as the sun. The two areas, the sources, pulsed the blinding heat throughout his body. Brick couldn't tell what was going on with his body but he could tell that it was something very wrong.

Ba-Dump…

An image of Butch's and Boomer's unconscious figures flashed in his mind.

Ba-Dump…

He scoffed.

This is no time to be lying around on the ground.

With a lot of effort, Brick pushed himself off the ground, his muscles only slightly relieved from their locked positions. His arms trembled as the red ruff bent over and grabbed the pink heroine's arm before slugging her over onto his back, carrying her in a piggyback position. A layer of sweat quickly grew on his face. Swaying heavily, Brick staggered down the road to where he last saw of his hat and the syringe. He lost his footing, falling onto his knee with a thunk. With sweat trickling past his clouded, unfocused eyes, Brick got up and pushed on. He panted as his lids grew heavy, falling half lidded. The sound of the albino cheetah's struggle got fainter as he continued. An ache growing in his head. Then he found it, his hat lying on the rubble asphalt. At the center of the hat's caved in top was the syringe. It was only a little ways away!

Ba-Dump…

His legs locked. The muscles in his legs tightening so painfully that it was blinding. He teetered forward and fell flat on his stomach. Brick didn't have the strength to get himself up. He couldn't anyway, he can't move his legs. With one hand holding onto the girl on his back, Brick crawled on his one arm over to the syringe. He ignored the debris and shards that poked, they couldn't pierce his skin anyway, at his sides as he went around all the craters and missiles in the ground. Only a few feet left! He could almost feel his hat back on his head.

"Didn't you know that when you're poisoned, you're supposed to refrain from doing anything that speeds up your heart rate?"

Brick froze. That was a guy's voice… There's someone else here? Brick continued crawling. There was someone else in the fog and for whatever reason, that person was calm. No normal person would sound that calm in a battle field unless they were strong enough to have no other reason but to be calm. That spelled out trouble and he wasn't in the right position to hang around for it. He had to keep moving.

"...Cool I sound smart. You heard that right? I sound sophisticated."

Brick's face hit the ground after hearing that. Lifting up his head, Brick sweat dropped. The reason why this person was calm was either because he's really bad news or, He's an idiot… Brick chose the latter. With that in mind, Brick continued to crawl. He was almost there.

"Oi, are you even listening to me?"

Brick chose not to reply. Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't. He didn't trust his voice to not waver.

Ba-Dump…

An incomprehensible sound whispered past his lips as another wave strummed through his body.

"See, I told you…" The guy spoke flatly.

"Damn it…" Brick cursed, ignoring the guy as he pressed his forehead against the street below him. His balled fist clenched near his furrowed face. His narrowed, clouded eyes gleamed with frustration. His jaw clenched painfully as he tried to ignore the unbearable pain. It felt like the blinding pain from his legs was now in his lower torso and arms. It was only getting worse every second he lay there. So he started to pull himself as fast as he could to his hat. He got closer. The pain grew stronger. He pulled himself faster. Black framed his blurring vision. He reached out his arm… and with the tips of his fingers he pulled his hat into his arms. After sloppily slapping his hat back onto his head, Brick rolled the strawberry blonde on the ground beside him. He took the syringe in his hand… and with trembling hands… aimed the needle above the arm that he held with paralyzed fingers… He positioned his thumb above the plunger of the needle, ready to inject the contents… before finally, finally, pushing the tip against her skin.

Tink!

He watched dumbstruck as the needle snapped at the base, the glass of the syringe cracking in the process... Everything felt so… surreal... For a short while, the world once again slowed as Brick watched the needle spin in the air. His red eyes reflected nothing but the image of the spinning needle before it landed on the ground and with that the world once more returning to normal. The contents poured from the cracked glass container that he still held in his hand, spilling onto the heroine's skin before trickling onto the ground. The gears in his head turned, his mind starting to process what just occurred. Then his emotions that were suppressed by his shock came bubbling back up.

No… no, no, no, no, no! This can't be happening… THIS CAN'T BE FREAKING HAPPENING!

"DAMN IT!" Brick yelled as he punched the ground, smashing the rest of the syringe in his hand.

This should have been it. He should have been done. No, this couldn't be happening to him. After all of that… After ALL of it! He wanted to beat in the face of that white haired hag! Then he thought of his two brothers… What would happen to them? It wasn't his fault that the stupid needle broke! Once again he started to blame the white haired lady. It was her fault why the needle broke! She only gave him one! So if she didn't help his brothers because of her mistake… then he would make sure that she would regret it, thoroughly.

Ba-Dump…

There was another wave but he was too distracted to notice.

There was a loud thump, someone landed a couple feet to his left. The sound of footsteps drew closer in his direction until a black fuzzy image of what appeared to be the bottom of a pair of grey and black boots appeared in the corner of his eyes. Brick turned his head slightly to the look up at the owner of the said boots. The fog over head somehow chose to part at that exact moment causing Brick to squint. The ruff could only see the outline of the guy's sleeveless cloak. The hood covered most of the guy's face, the only area exposed was below the nose. The only thing that he could barely was see the smirk the stranger wore. Brick got pissed off at the way the guy stood. Che, that bastard. Standing like he's won … and what the hell is with the hand on the hip thing?

"Ne, how'd you do it?"

Do what? Brick thought, unable to talk.

"Come o-on, tell me! How where you able to subside the poison for that long when you where running around like an idiot?" The ruff could all but see the grin on the guy's face.

Brick remained silent. With half of his face was still hidden behind his arm, his only answer was his exhausted, unfocused glare.

"You know for a while, I thought that the poison wasn't working properly. However, looking at you now, I can see that wasn't the case… but still, what you did is supposed to be impossible…" He said leering down at the red ruff.

"…."

"I mean, you took two direct blows… or injections, of a lot of deadly poison."

"…."

"Then there's the interesting fact that up until now you were fighting completely fine with poison in your system for almost two whole hours.

"…."

"And not to mention that no matter whom or how little poison they took, they would always be dead in a matter of minutes."

"…."

"So… why weren't you?"

"….."

"Not much of a talker are you?" He said he pushed his foot against Brick's temple, as if checking if Brick was still working.

No, but apparently you are… Brick glared steeled as he felt the shoe poking at his head… If he had enough strength at the time, he would've ripped off that foot using only his mouth the second it touched him.

"Oh well… it can't be helped…" He said as he slightly held out his arm to his side. Marble sized black orbs appeared around the outstretched arm before they formed into a black staff.

"I even blew my cover just so I could talk to you." He pointed one end of the staff at Brick's head.

"But geez… I didn't even get a single answer out of you…" He sighed.

There was a pause, an ominous aura started to emanate from the standing teen. "Sorry… don't take this personally…" He spoke darkly, his voice hushed. "… but no one's supposed to see me…" In an instant, the end that pointed at Brick sharpened like a dagger. Slightly cutting the ruff's face, he pushed Brick's head to the side to expose his neck and end it…. but when he did that he also got a better look at the ruff's shadowed face; the stranger's shadowed eyes peeking from the rim of his hood. His eyes narrowed before he put the tip of the blade under Brick's chin, turning the ruff's face toward him. Behind his hood the guy's eyes widened slightly and his brows upturned when he properly looked at the boy's face for the first time. The corners of his lips up turned, a laugh eager to jump from the tip of his tongue. Brick's eyes burned with hatred, weather it was from his helplessness or from the fact that he just plain out hated this guy was unclear. The red ruff was prepared to bite and break the tissue in his mouth just to spit blood at the guy's face. He would've too if he wasn't using all his strength on trying to not to pass out.

"Eh~? I just discovered something very interesting…" The guy's eyes shifted from Brick to the girl locked in the ruff's paralyzed arm. Her face was turned downward to the ground and curtianed by her disheveled strawberry blond hair. He dispersed his staff and reached for the girl… He never really got a good look at her face either…

Brick saw what that guy was going to do. Brick wouldn't let him. With only his burning hate and will to fuel him, Brick wrapped his other arm around the pink puff and held her head down, almost passing out due to the movement. Getting annoyed, the guy above him tried to pry Brick's hands and arms off but couldn't. When his hand got close enough, Brick opened his jaws and bit down hard. With a scream, the hand reeled back in pain.

There was a snap… With a snarled face, the guy summoned his staff once more and with both hands lifted up it up above his head. He swung it down…

Kur-BAM!

Dust flew.

_(*ω)_Third POV_ \()_
-||- A long while ago-||-
|-)-(-On a the second floor of a multi story parking lot-)-(-|

A lady with white hair kneeled in front of two unconscious teens. For more than an hour, she's been trying to jab a gosh- damn- needle in their freaking- hard- as- damn- steel- skin! Not once… Not once, since she had injected the needle in Cap-boy's skin, was she even able to come close to the next injection.

She had tried switching back and forth between Boomer to Pony-tail, didn't work… She tried injecting it into their legs, didn't work… She tried applying more blue gel, didn't work... She even tried covering their entire arms and legs with the gel, didn't work... She tried to angle the needle in various directions, didn't work… She tried using multiple syringes and needles at one time, didn't work… She tried stabbing them with the needle, didn't work… She tried vibrating the needle into the skin, didn't work… She tried massaging the area before injecting the needle, didn't work… She once again tried stabbing them, didn't work… She tried playing darts, didn't work…. She then tried throwing the syringes at them like she did in the game with the darts, didn't work… Stretching their skin, didn't work. Pinching their skin, didn't work. Running and stabbing, didn't work. Using gravity, stabbing, begging, crying, raging, threatening, planning, constricting the surrounding skin, stabbing, and applying more gel all didn't work, didn't work, and- oh yeah, DIDN'T WORK!

Her efforts varied from exhausting, to pathetic, and to just plain out stupid.

She sighed, mentally exhausted. Looking to her left, she stared at the ridiculously large silver pile of broken needles, syringes, pods, and syringe guns before looking back at the two dimly lit unconscious teens.

Why was she doing this?

She opened her jacket and looked at all of the empty slots on the inside… She only had one pod of that medicine left… and all of the syringe guns for it were broken. Not only was she now low on supplies but now 'that guy' had caught up to her. She can't get caught… no matter what. They had come this far. If only 'that' incident hadn't happened, they wouldn't be in this situation… 'He' wouldn't be in that situation… It was her fault… and she had to help him. She looked back at the two ruffs and remembered the third one was still fighting in the battle. She couldn't just abandon them and run away. Not after she dragged them into this…

I don't have a choice…

Getting up, she walked away from the two ruff.

Tap

Tap

Tap

Her footsteps echoed in throughout the silent floor.

Tap

Tap

Tap

Her face furrowed in slight pain, resenting what she knew she had to do next.

Tap

Tap

Tap

When she was far enough away from the ruffs, she stops… Her eyes close and she takes a deep breath. A light erupts from her pours before enveloping her body. Small but sharp horns started to sprout from the top of her head, curving inward towards each other but pointing outward in front of her. She could feel herself quickly growing taller, her legs and arms getting thinner, and her neck and face growing longer… She could feel her legs growing weaker and she landed on all fours on the ground with a loud du-n, unable to hold herself up any longer.

Her all of her clothes had disappeared, except for the large sunglasses on her face, and in their place was soft white pristine fur, which glowed from the light she emitted. Then the harsh, blinding light started to dim, as if it was pulling back into her body until it covered her like a second skin of solid white light. With eyes still closed, she raised her lowered head, her fuzzy ears twitching as she did so. The glassed resting on her snout teetered and fell.

Chsssh!

The solid light around her now larger figure shattered like glass just as the dark lenses shattered against the concrete below, the sound of glass shattering echoing throughout the vacant parking lot. The light vanished and in the place of where the girl stood an albino pronghorn antelope… and a rather large one at that. The creature wasn't a ridiculous size like the cheetah was but it was way above a normal one's height… Com'on, the thing was as long a pickup truck and its neck would make her as tall as a pickup and a half... Another strange detail, other than the fact that it had a mane and tail like a horse, was that she had large white butterfly wings sprouting from her neck, the scales shimmering mini rainbows even under the dim yellow parking lot light.

Her tail swished behind her before she slowly opened her eyes…

Red eyes, which shinned like glass.

Clop, clop, clop.

She walked towards the much smaller unconscious teens. Her figure towering over their bodies before she walked over to the blue ruff's side, her feet- or hooves clopping against the ground as she walked. Lowering her head, she pressed her snout on the blue ruff's side and scooted him closer to his brother. She walked back to stand in front of both of them. With a snort through her nose, she bent her knees and lowered her head, her all of her weight on her front hooves. She looked at their unconscious faces that scrunched in pain before lowering her head even more…

-and stabbing them both in the stomach….

-ending their suffering.

The tips of her horns glowed in a bright light blue as she pulled out of their abdomens. Her horns were spotless despite the fact that she just impaled not just one but two stomachs. She looked up from the holes she made in their jackets and looked at their faces which now relaxed into a relieved, peaceful expression. Their faces where so innocent that she would've thought they were angels if she didn't already know that they were just beasty little brats… which brought her back to the question of why she was helping them. She looked back at the ruff's ruined jackets. A hole exposed the two ruff's flat, scar free skin, their belly buttons visible for all to see. Their abdomens showing no signs of being impaled at all.

Standing tall the lady- now- transformed- creature looked down at the two as an annoying thought flitted through her head.

Now… how do I get them on my back?

_(*ω)_Third POV_ \()_
._ :… High in the sky…: _.

A light blue and green light burst from two opposite areas, soaring into the air before meeting and heading in the same direction, downtown. Bloop, bloop, bloop. The two heroines looked at the source of the noise. Powered Buttercup's compact was flashing. Still flying, the green puff picked it up and held it out for both of them to see. Ken and Peach appeared on screen. "Good you guys met up with each other. Are you guys there yet?"

They shook their heads.

"No but were on the way." Bubbles said, looking at Ken's small image.

"Yeah were almost there." Buttercup said looking at the horizon.

It was true, she could see the tall buildings... but that wasn't all that she could see. She also saw a ridiculously large smoke like fog covering downtown. Buttercup looked back at the screen.

"Hey Ken can you tell us where Momoko is?" The green puff asked.

Ken's expression turned sour as his eyes darted to the side. His fists clenched tightly at his sides as Peach looked down in shame. Ken spoke in pained worry voice, "That's just it..."

Pausing from their flight, the girls focused on the young ten year old. Concern adorned their faces as they eagerly waited for the boy to continue.

"I can't hone in on her signal. I don't even know if she's Momoko or Hyper Blossom right now, let alone her location. The surveillance cameras aren't responding either, all we can get is static. It's like someone put a huge barrier around downtown."

"Wait Ken, look at this…" Buttercup flipped the compact around so Ken could see the smoke like fog in front of them.

The sound of Ken slamming his hands down on the surface in front of him could be heard. "Wh-what the heck? Why is that there? It's sunny! The temperature of the ground's surface should be considerably warm, if not hot, in this type of seasonal weather! The fog shouldn't even be there since the humidity of the surrounding air around here is very dry at this time of year and in order for it to even form ther-"

"KEN STOP RAMBLING NERD AND JUST SPIT IT OUT IF THAT'S WHAT'S BLOCKING BLOSSOM'S SIGNAL OR NOT!" Buttercup roared, with Ken screaming in the back ground from shock.

Ken collected himself and with crossed arms and closed eyes he answered, "Most likely", as a bead of sweat rolling down the side of his head.

"So does this mean that we can't find her?" Miyako asked fearfully. Her hands balled near her face as if the pressure she applied to her face would lessen the worry that tightened in her chest.

"No, of course not! No one said you won't find her, which you girls will do… You guys just don't have our help this time."

"That's right da wan!" Peach barked, helping Ken ease the blue puff. The blonde and even the green puff smiled, both feeling their reassurance. Then Bubbles and Buttercup both looked at each other before nodding to each other with determination on their face. Just as the green puff was about to put away her compact, Ken stopped her.

"Wait! Just before you guys go, I need to remind you that when you guys head in there… you'll lose contact with us."

"Yeah, we know." Buttercup grinned.

"Thanks Ken-kun, Peachy. See you later." Bubbles smiled. And with that the compact closed, ending the call. The two teammates dove into the grey abyss, not knowing what to find but hoping that it was their friend…

The second they dove in, all that they could see was grey and were hardly able to see the grey outline of an object that was ten feet in front of them. They flew around, stirring up the air enough to see farther but not enough to be able to properly search for their friend. Ba-Da-lump. They searched but it was hard to look for her without losing sight of each other, not wanting to look for Momoko and each other. Ba-Da-lump. They could have just flown right past her and not even know it! Ba-Da-lump. After searching for a good while, the two looked at each other, worry clear on their faces. Ba-Da-lump, Ba-Da-lump. They lowered themselves until they were standing on the ground. Ba-Da-lump, Ba-Da-lump. They had to think of something soon because they wouldn't find her at this rate…

Ba-Da-lump,

Ba-Da-lump,

Ba-Da-lump.

"What are we going to do?..." Miyako asked, Kaoru just stared at her with thinned lips.

"WoooooooHhooooooooooooo!"

Then there was a flash of white.

Everything in the world froze as for a split second the girls stared at the image that flashed before them. Boomer and Butch were sitting on a strange albino creature that looked like an antelope. Boomer was smiling like an idiot with his tongue left hanging in the wind, one hand holding onto the white mane as a rail, and his jacket in his other hand as he twirled it above his head. There behind the blue ruff was Butch who's face showed one of panic, his bangs swept to the side from the speed they were going at, leaving both of his dark green eye's to be seen, his brows arched up as far as they could go, and his lips opened in a oval like frown. The green ruff was sitting like he was rocking backwards, his legs bent in the air with his feet just a little below his brother's shoulders, one hand placed behind him on the creature's rump as he supported himself from falling off, his other hand reached between his mid-air feet as he desperately clung onto his blue brother's shirt, almost choking him… not that Boomer noticed or cared. The blue ruff looked like he was having the time of his life… while the green ruff looked like he was hanging desperately onto his.

Ba-Da-lump,

Ba-Da-lump,

Ba-Da-lump.

As if someone hit the play button, the world came back to life.

"BOOMER! Do you even know how to drive this thing!?" Butch screamed, the panic obvious in his voice.

"Oooh~! Is that what I'm supposed to be doing?!" Boomer laughed.

"BOOMER I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Butch yelled trying to choke his brother but stopped short when they momentarily jumped high into the air and, not wanting to be sent flying, scrambled to grasp the fur below him.

"Haha ha haha ha!" Boomer laughed at his brother's failed attempt.

Meanwhile, Bubbles and Buttercup stared into the now empty air in front of them in disbelief…

….

What the fuck just happened?

The two puffs looked through the clear path of air that the two barreling ruffs just made before they disappeared in loud 'pwng!'. A light blue and green light dashed after the two fighting bickering brothers.

"HOW THE HECK DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE WHEN YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S DRIVING!?" Guess who…

"Uhhh… I don't know?" Yeah you know who…

"HOW THE HECK DO YOU NOT KNOW!?"

Do these two have ANY idea how inappropriately LOUD they are right now!? Hello! Super hearing here! So like, OW! The lady- transformed- creature thought to herself.

"Uh, I kinda woke up like this Butch! DUuuH! Besides who cares?! THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME! WOOHOOO! YEAH!"

There was another bump, and Butch was not pleased… at ALL.

"Uw-ah! DAMNIT BOOMER! I CARE OKAY!? I FREAKING CARE!"

"Com'on Butch you're being such a pansy right now!" Boomer laughed. He was having a blast and watching his brother's out of character behavior was like the cherry topping, making it so much funnier.

"SAYS THE ONE WHO'S NOT RIDING ON THE ASS OF THE RIDE! I'M JUMPING EVERYTIME THIS FREAKING HORSE MAKES A SINGLE STEP! SO MY PART OF THE RIDE AIN'T EXACTLY SMOOTH SAILING BRO!"

The albino creature felt a vein pulse on her head, the giant wings on her neck that she used to steer fluttered with annoyance. Horse!? Then she bucked her legs for that remark, making the green ruff panic as he clung on for life. Boomer's stomach started to ache from laughing so hard. Then the blue ruff stopped laughing, his face turning serious as he processed what his brother just said.

"Horse?!" Yes, ladies and gentlemen that was the only thing that he had processed… no let me rephrase that, the only thing that he cared about.

"A horse!? No dude, this is a cow!"

Okay, maybe that wasn't the only thing he was thinking…

OKAY A WHAT!? The albino- lady- transformed- creature thought. Her vision turning white from anger. Compared to that, horse was a complement. DOSE IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE AN UTTER! HUH, YOU LITTLE BRAT!? She started bucking like crazy, standing on her rear legs, standing on her forelegs, shaking, and just trying to make the ride a living hell… I AM PRETTY! MAGICAL! I HAVE BUTTERFLY WINGS FOR PETE'S SAKE SO DAMN YOU!... but for some reason it back fired. Boomer was screaming for an encore (before shouting something about a rodeo) while Butch was in a semi-conscious state, his eyes rolled back from fear. His fingers locked tightly onto the fur in his hands, he made a gurgling noise, and a bit of foam bubbling from his mouth.

Boomer stopped laughing and in doing so woke Butch from his semi-conscious state. They both looked ahead and saw a blur of a guy's outline through the fog, he seems to be leaning over something. As the drew closer, the outline got clearer and they saw a guy in a matching black sleeveless cloak, black fitted pants, black buckled boots, and orange shirt leaning over a heap of red… Wait, red?! The siblings thought simultaneously.

"Brick!" They shout, their overly loud voices finally being used correctly.

"MUSH LLAMMA-COW! MUUUUSH!" Boomer yelled whipping the mane in his hands as if that would make her go any faster.

…Well she did go faster but not because of the mane whipping.

Oh as if cow wasn't bad enough, no of course not! YOU JUST HAD TO ADD LLAMMA BEFORE COW DIDN'T YOU!? She honestly thought that out of the three ruffs, the blue ruff was the one who was the least bad in the group… Oh how wrong she was, it turns out they're all just as equally bad! And with a snort of her snout, she charged, her fury growing as she saw who she was running at.

Ba-Da-lump,

Ba-Da-lump,

Ba-Da-lump.

The three could see the guy reel back in pain and summon a black staff from thin air. The two ruffs gasped. The guys yanked the staff upward before he it swung down to hit the red ruff.

Kur-BAM!

Dust flew…

The guy was sent soaring down the street, his arms and legs parallel to each other as the trailed behind the guy's stomached and torso. The guy crashed like a meteor into the cement wall of a bank, smack dab in the center of an ATM, creating a huge explosion. Cement went flying, the ATM wrinkled inward like crinkled paper, fire burned, broken wires popped and sparked, and the guy's body slumped unconscious, his back and butt embedded in the cave of the ATM. The boys cheered as the girl transformed animal panted for her breath… She made it.

After their mini celebration, the two stood on the revivifying creature's back before scanning for a glimpse of red in the scattered debris. As the two searched for their brother from their high perch, the red ruff lay in an insufferable agony.

Everything hurt… It was like someone had set his insides ablaze, then stabbed multiple sharp jagged objects into his body before the invaded objects were violently and randomly twisted, stirring his insides and causing his already tighten, stretched felt muscles to twitch. His throat tightened by the second, his thirsted for more of the limited amounts of air that entered his lungs, his mind buzzed, his ears rung, and his forehead heavily covered in perspiration.

"Brick? OI BRICK!"

All he heard was noise… Why was there so much noise…it was too loud. He might as well bang his head against the ground until it crushes from how much it was hurting.

"Oi! BRICK!"

When he recognized something out from the noise, Brick had lifted his pounding, disoriented head off the ground at the call of his name. His face troubled as if testing what he was hearing was real, as if he was hearing it right. His head tilted high enough that you could see his clouded eyes, the red pools unable to discern his surroundings. His brows furrowed as if calling upon recollection on why that word was familiar to him.

"Over here bro!"

He turned his neck a little to the side, seeing two blobs of green and blue moving, in a way that would seem to be as waving in his direction. Too tired to even attempt to upturn the corner of his lips into a weak smile, the red ruff let his head fall, his cheek pressing uncomfortably against the ground. A single thought passing through his darkening mind. .. Thank God…. His clouded, agonized, crimson eyes closed, finally falling into the sweet release of unconscious.

Meanwhile, Bubbles and Buttercup hurried to catch up, which was kind of hard to do even while they were laughing crazy… well at least Buttercup was, Bubbles was stifling hers with her hand… even though some high pitched puffs of air slipped past through her fingers every once and a while. Despite their appearance they were honestly baffled at how fast the thing was. Nothing should be faster than them! Com'on! They themselves were already so ridiculously fast that it was stupid. So for that thing to still be faster than them while carrying passengers on its back meant that there was something beyond 'so ridiculously fast that it's stupid'. Something that's beyond stupid?! Impossible! Yeah, that's what they thought too.

They turned the corner just in time to witness the giant albino charge into a guy, not seeing the two teen bodies that lay hidden behind the creature and in the already scattered debris.

Gasping in shock, the two went into hero mode.

Peeew!

The two heroines disappeared in a flash of blue and green light. The two neon light barreled into the side of the creature, knocking it onto the street before it crashed into a nearby fire hydrant. Water spewed into the air like a geyser and created a light rain- like drizzle, the surrounding fog in the parameter clearing somewhat. Boomer and Butch, who were trying to get off and help their brother, were knocked off as the creature was hit. Bubbles and Buttercup glared at the two ruffs as they got up… They hadn't seen them for sometime but that didn't mean that their grudge against them lightened any.

Buttercup pointed her finger at them accusingly, "Rowdyruff boys! We should've known you would do something like this!"

"That's right! We knew you boys wanted to be monsters but to do something as cruel as attacking a pedestrian like that, unforgivable!" Bubbles added as she flew towards the man, checking if the man was still alive. The man's face still down casted, Bubbles took the man's arm and checked for his pulse. She sighed with relief when she felt a pulse and carried the man out of the ATM and laid him onto the sidewalk a couple of blocks away, the guy's face still covered by his hood.

Bubbles flew back to her teammate's side while saying, "You're lucky he was still breathing!"

When the two ruffs were flung into the air, they lost sight and placing of where their red brother was and Butch could feel a gut tightening rage build up. The enraged Butch, seeing the blue ruff hit head first on the edge of the sidewalk, went and helped Boomer up before he glared at the two stupid hags in fury with his teeth bared in distaste. Boomer woozily rubbing his head as the other ruff did so.

"What the heck are you two stupid hags talking about?" Butch lashed out.

"Hag?!" Bubbles gasped as she frowned, her brows slightly furrowed in displeasure.

"Stupid!?" Buttercup stomped, her body slightly hunched and hands balled as if she was about to explode from all the anger the suppressed.

"Yes stupid! If you hags didn't notice, NORMAL HUMANS DIE FROM HITS LIKE THAT!"

There was a, 'crikle, crrack'. The sound of popping and cracking bones.

All four super beings turned to look at the so called 'pedestrian'. The guy was standing up perfectly fine, stretching his body as if he was warming up for a relay race.

"He's right, you really are stupid…" He spoke so bluntly that it was almost lethargic. He raised his arms above his head and grabbed one of his biceps, his arms forming into a 'b', before he started lean side to side.

"I can't believe you actually thought that a normal human can live through that and then you just leaving the body there, all alone, like everything with that situation was perfectly okay." The guy said in an upbeat tone of disbelief.

Miyako felt a dagger pierce her pride. That was exactly what she had thought.

"I'm mean, I gotta hand it to you... only a true airhead would do that." He spoke in an 'oh, I see' voice, crossing his arms as he did so.

Another dagger to her pride… what a merciless guy…

"Hey! You can't say that to my teammate! So take it back!" Buttercup yelled, swinging her arm to the side and in front of her shell shocked blonde friend.

"What? The truth? Why? I mean… Wait a minute, you're right…" He said moving his hand to pinch his chin, thinking for a moment, before waving his hand, his pointer finger the only digit sticking out, in the puff's direction. "Both of you believed that an average guy could live through a hit like that so… you're right… I should be saying that you're both airheads."

"WHAT!?"

"You're both airheads, I'm pretty sure I said it clearly the first time."

The Buttercup bomb went off and the guy found himself at the end of it... Leaving a bursting cloud of brown dust, Buttercup soared forward, her green light trailing behind her before the ends were flickering out like fireflies. She outstretched her hand and, in the neon green light silhouette in her open palm, she summoned her hammer, her palm enclosing around the silhouette's handle before the light shatters into green specks and revealing the weapon underneath. Grasping the handle with both hands, she held the hammer off to her side with the head trailing near her knees, a small neon green ball of energy in the center of the head.

"Swing Sonic: STAR BARAGE!"

With the scream, she came to an abrupt stop, her tail wind blowing past her, and let her hammer follow through with its momentum as she added more force and speed on top of the said momentum. Her arms made one sweep to her other side, her hammer moving from being outstretched to her left and up to her right shoulder. In that instant, the green ball of energy seeped, due to the force, from the center of the hammer into the air, leaving behind a neon green trail before the said trail turned into smaller, palm sized balls of energy. They stayed lined up in a row from her left to her right shoulder for an instant, before shooting like bullets towards the hooded teen.

Byuu, byu, byu, byu, byuu, byu.

She watched in almost horrified shock, she hardly hit the guy and the only reason why the balls of energy vanished was because the guy used a black staff to hit everyone them with a quick twirl.

Byuuu.

He lifted up an empty hand at the last palm sized ball of energy that headed towards him and held it out opened palmed to meet it half way. It made contact, a light breeze brushed around the guy as the last neon ball made hit it's mark. Bubbles watched with mouth a gape. Buttercup could feel a bead of perspiration roll down her cheek. The green puff's whisper her disbelief in a hushed voice, "No way…".

The last ball had hit dead center of the palm… but the guy didn't move a centimeter, nor did he show any sign of pain.

That was one of my most powerful attacks… why wasn't he affected?!

"Well that was disappointing." He said as he examined his empty palm, the energy ball having dispersed on contact.

"What!?"

"Seriously, is that your favorite word or something? I said that it was disappointing. You made these orbs' power and effect multiply by the number of energy balls you created but your aim was poor, so it would only have a fifty to eighty percent hit rate; the lower the hit rate the lower number of enemies you have and the smaller their size. Despite the facts, it was a good move but…" He looked up. You could easily imagine, almost see, his monotone eyes looking at her negatively, as if he was scorning her. "-the only flaw was that…" Then he moved his left arm away from where it's resting place on his outer thigh, and held it out to his side, his fingers hanging limply from his hand.

"You are too weak!" He yelled as his concealed eyes darted to the side, catching movement.

In an instant, he swiped his left arm in front of him and a black stream trailed from his hand before multiple pitch black, palm sized orbs were shot, his body leaning backwards from the attack.

Buttercup could only watch in shock as the black orb, which she was made painfully aware that it was a solid object, hit her in the gut, knocking her into mailbox, before getting hit by more orbs, and sending her and the now demolished mailbox tumbling and skidding down the street. Bubbles summoned her wand to block the attack but the orb just pushed the weapon back into her chest, knocking all the wind out of her lungs before falling onto the asphalt. Butch and Boomer barely made it out of the firing range, having left the scene earlier in order to find their brother... You know, getting their brother before they went back to kick that guys ass for not only trying to hurt the red ruff but also for the fact that the blow they just barely dodged had knocked them down into a hole at the center of the road… It wasn't just any hole, oh no. It was a seven foot hole where a dark, watery mud puddle (which was caused by the rain of the still gushing broken, geyser-like fire hydrant) waited for them at the bottom.

Splash!

Yeah… cloak guy gonna pay.

Bubbles got up and grasped her chest as her lungs quenched themselves, her chest heaving rapidly from the action. Getting up, she looked around before wobbly floating over to her team mate, who lay sore on the ground. Stiffly getting up thanks to Bubbles, Buttercup kept her squinted shocked eyes, locked on the guy's mocking figure, her shock subsiding her anger.

That rip off artist!

Other than the fact that the orbs he shot where solid and that he had better aim-

That was her attack move!

Water from the light geyser rain collected and dampened their hair. Bubbles usual short springy pig tails now look like blond, loose tornados with the way the tips touched her shoulders. Buttercup's spiky bed head flatten on the top but only up to her temples because any hair lower than that angled outward with a slight curl, stray hair sticking out of some of the mild locks, still looking like bed head and not by any means mild like normal short haired girls but a lot more feminine than her usual tomboyish hair do.

"Buttercup, did he just copy your attack?" Bubbles asked worryingly as her brows upturned as she supported the green puff by the shoulders.

Her eyes fixed into a glare at the reminder.

"Yeah, only better…" A bead of sweat rolled down her temple as she fought that sentence out.

The orbs circled ominously in the air around them, like vultures circling a kill. The two puffs looked at their strong opponent with determination, both wondering how they were going to beat him. They soon realized that he wasn't even looking at them. His head was turned slightly to the side, looking at something behind them. Both puffs turned their heads, following the trail.

Meanwhile, a mud cover Butch and Boomer had just clambered out of the whole, panting as they rested on the craters edge. Who knew that a light rain from a fire hydrant would make the walls of a seven foot hole that wet, slippery, and almost impossible to climb out of?

After letting one last pant, Boomer looked up, having recovered before his green brother. He froze at the sight before him. Too shocked to speak Boomer started hitting Butch's arm to get his attention.

Wack,

"Oww…" Butch whispered, still panting to replenish his oxygen supply.

Wack,

"Ow."

Wack!

"Ow."

WACK!

"Ow!" Was it just him or was his brother starting to hit harder?

WACK!

"OW!" Nope, it wasn't just him.

WACK!WACK!WACK!WACK!WACK!

"OWOWOWOWOW, OW DAMNIT! Boomer stop freaking hitting me or I'll kick your ass!" Butch screamed in his brother's shocked face, finally having enough of it.

Without even turning to look at him, Boomer merely lifted a hand to his brother's face and turned it into the direction he was looking at. Butch's mouth dropped at the sight of his red brother holding the pink puff tightly to his chest but what almost gave him a heart attack was the red ruff's relieved, peaceful expression.

Holy shit. Butch thought.

"What do you think you're doing."

Butch and Boomer whipped their heads around and looked at the jerk that tried to smash in the red ruff's head. He was looking right at them. Then with a thrust of his arm in the ruff's direction, the guy sent his black orbs at their direction. The black spheres cut through the air so fast that there was a high pitched chirp. The two ruffs covered their faces at the incoming orbs. In the background the puffs' gasping in shock could be heard.

Boom!

The green and blue ruffs where sent flying from the impact of the explosion, the green's back landing hard on a piece of derby and the blue crashing into the underside of a flipped over car.

That hurt less than I thought that would. Boomer thought, opening his eyes.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Brown clouds of dirt flew from the impacts. The brown cloud pushed outward, causing the thick fog to recoil in itself.

Everyone saw that it wasn't the ruffs they were aimed at…

Getting hit every now and then, a large silhouette dodged the continuous attacks as best as she could with jumps, ducks, and sidesteps. When the dust cleared, the albino antelope like creature's figure was revealed. Her once white fur was matted from the light rain making it a light gray shade. Her fur hiked up, dishevel from the hits she took. Light or thick patches of mud spotted the fur here and there. Her long horse tail and mane hung in soaked locks. The white wings on her neck drooped and its red eyes shimmered with exhaustion.

"HEY! YOU LEAVE OUR LAMMA-YACK ALONE!" Boomer yelled with surprising vigor, furious at the sight of creature's condition.

Llama… yack? Everyone thought, sweat dropping. The blond boy's seriousness was completely overridden by how ridiculous his declaration sounded.

Kneeling on the ground next to the red super beings, Butch did face-palmed at his brother's declaration.

"Didn't you just call it a llama-cow earlier, and before that a cow?" Butch said while keeping an arm on the red ruff's arm, trying to remove the red head's iron grip on the girl. I still say it's a horse…

Boomer didn't reply. He just took off, skating at full speed to help the 'llama-yack'. There was a black blur to his left. On instinct, he grabbed his cotton swabs and started flicking yellow blobs at the approaching orb. Though it did cover the entire front of the orb with earwax, it failed to stop or alter the object off course. Boomer kept flicking more blobs at him before dodging it at the last second.

"Earwax!? Are you kidding me? What, do you think your trying to do? Gross it out? Hate to break it to you dude but I don't think you can gross out an object!" The hooded guy laughed.

The orb made a u-turn and continued to fly towards Boomer, the yellow side still facing him. Boomer watched with an oddly serious expression. He waited before jumping out of the way and once again dodging at the last second, feeling the tail wind brushing against his face. The ball made contact with the ground and dirt flew from the crash. The laughter in the air died down as the hooded man looked at the orb trembling and vibrating on the ground as it tried to fly. He stared at in slight surprise.

It... was… stuck.

Are you freaking kidding me? He thought as he stared at the grounded black sphere, the light rain bouncing off the surface. His shadowed eyes wandered down to the black orb's base. There it was, the yellow earwax that held the sphere in place even in the geyser's rain, reflecting off most of the water like oil.

"Dude… what the hell are you growing in those ears of yours?" The shadowed figure said in calm, and slightly disgusted, disbelief.

Taking a breather from trying to wrench his brother's arms loose, Butch sighed.

"Sometimes I wonder that too... It's better not to ask." The green ruff replied.

"How can I not!? Seriously… wha-?"

"It's better not to ask…" Butch repeated.

"… So do you know?"

How the heck were they able to have a nonchalant conversation in that type of situation was a mystery.

"No… but I don't think I wanna know." Butch answered. Then the cloaked teen turned to look at the blue ruff who continued to repeat that process with the other black orbs. Yeah, he didn't think he wanted to know either, let his earwax forever remain a mystery.

Bubbles and Buttercup were confused on what to do, so they decided to just watch for a while before they joined a side; a particle reason that they didn't join automatically was that their wounds ached.

"Gaahhck!"

The super teens turned to see Boomer hit from behind. "Boomer!" Butch yelled running from his unconscious brother to help the blue ruff, the red ruff seemed to be safe there at the moment and the blonde block head was in trouble. The giant horned albino turned her head at the sound and bucked away all the orbs that were now aimed at the currently defenseless ruff. Running past an abandoned car, Butch ripped the car door from its hinges and started swinging like a mad man at the nearby orbs. After only seconds of swinging, the door's window shattered. Soon, way too soon for his liking, his temporary weapon was full of stretched out dents and rendered useless. While grabbing a storm drain cover from its place in the ground, Butch turned his head to the side and saw the puffs watching with troubled expressions. He could feel vain pulse on his head.

"Get your dumb asses UP and get my brother and that pink hag out of here! Oh and while you're at it, COULD YOU HAGS GET HIS ARMS OFF OF THAT GROSS COMRADE OF YOURS!" Butch yelled, pointing in the direction of the redhead and strawberry blond.

At the mention of the pink puff, the two ignored their injuries and zoomed at full speed in the pointed direction. There, obscured behind large and small cement pieces of a building wall and an over turned truck was their comrade… in Brick's arms with her body pressed against his… Overcoming their shock, the two puffs zoomed over the mini craters covered debris (which were from Brick's spit wads) and kneeled beside the two, with Buttercup behind Brick and Bubbles behind Blossom. The green puff looked at the ruff with a focused expression. Feeling the need to compensate to the green ruff for the whereabouts of their friend, even if she wanted to punch him for the way he said it to them, Buttercup started to pull at the red ruff's wet sleeves in hopes of loosening his grip. When that didn't work she started pulling at the boy's arms.

"A little help here~!" She said through grit teeth, looking up at Bubbles expectedly.

Bubbles' shoulders jerked up in recollection before reaching down to help out the green puff, grabbing the arm that cushioned Blossom's head and that held her face to his chest. If it wasn't for their situation, the fact that the reds clothes where tattered, and that the guy who held their best friend was evil, the blue puff would have found it incredibly cute. … okay not so much the last one. Even if the guy was a villain she would have cooed that they were adorable, so it was mostly the first two things she listed why she had only slightly thought of it.

"Let… Go… You… Stupid… BRAT!" Buttercup grumbled as she pulled. After pulling with all their might, the two slumped on the ground for a breather.

"It's no good, we can't get him off…" Bubbles sighed, looking at Buttercup tiredly.

"Why the heck won't he let go!? I mean, we're doing him a favor! And why the heck is he hugging her anyway? Aren't these guy's allergic to girls or something!?" Buttercup ranted, seething with annoyance.

"I don't think they're allergic to girls Buttercup…"

"Could've fooled me with the way they act whenever ever someone of the opposite gender even grazes their clothes." Buttercup replied as they once more started pulling on the boy's arms.

"Blossom, can you hear me?" Bubbles said as she shook the strawberry blond's shoulder, trying to wake up the sweet-toothed heroine.

"I don't think she's gonna wake up Bubbles. I mean if she can sleep through this racket, why would she wake up now?" Buttercup said, momentarily stopping from trying to wrench the ruff's arms loose.

Still kneeling, Bubbles sighed. She knew that but it was still worth a try. Opening her light blue eyes, she looked down, her eyes catching something. Buttercup was in the middle of thinking of a way to remove Brick's arms without cutting them off when she heard a horrified gasp. Turning to Bubbles, she saw her blond friend's fear shadowed face.

"Oi, what's wrong Bubbles?" Buttercup said

"L-look." She said pointing at the ground.

After doing so, Buttercup too gasped. There was a small black pool that peeked from underneath the two red teens, small streams branching outward, and upon closer inspection there were small droplet splashes near the ruff's grounded shoulder. What hit them the hardest was the red sheen and the metallic sent it gave off.

"Blood." Buttercup whispered, the word ghosting past her lips, almost inaudible as she vocalized its identity… Both puffs paled in fear for its owner. Kneeling by the ruff's legs, Bubbles prepared to lift the two up.

"We should get them out of here." Bubbles said calmly, the fear on her face reforming into concern. The green puff gave a small nod before going to pick up the reds by their shoulders. Both not wanting or knowing where the blood was flowing from, didn't want to chance the blood flowing an faster so they tried to carry them leveled… well they would have if they had the chance to lift them off the ground.

The girls felt a wind blow behind them. They slowly turned around and to their fear they saw the hooded teen behind them with a mock hurt playing on his lips, his hands covering his heart.

He sighed, "I'm offended… You guys completely forgot I was here."

Then he smirked.

"Well then if that's how it's gonna be, I guess I'm done letting you guys think that you're winning." With that he lifted his hands near his face, his fingers pointing straight into the air. The orbs that were stuck to the ground started to tremble. Some of the orbs were able to get completely free from the ground while others brought up the ground with them, still sticking by the wax. Butch groaned with annoyance. He just got some of those to stick to the ground! Now he has to deal with more of them? Just him and the overgrown, white horse verses thirty orbs? Uh uh, no way. Taking advantage of the stilled orbs, Butch made a dash to his brother and started shaking him with his foot.

"Boomer nap time's over! So get the hell up!" Butch yelled, losing his patience as he started rolling the blue ruff under his foot like crazy, treating the blue ruff as if he was a ball or a stick.

"WAH!" Boomer screamed as he was being spun, his eyes turning into swirls from his dizziness. After the spinning subsided, Boomer got up woozily and glared at his brother, a hand held up to his head to steady himself. "Oi, Butch what'd you do that for!?"

"To wake you up." Butch replied bluntly.

"I know but why!?"

Not looking away from his brother, Butch just pointed at the orbiting spheres in the air. Boomer turned and saw what the ponytailed ruff was talking about. He sweat dropped at the sight, feeling his stomach drop. "Oh…" He sighed depressingly, dreading what was to come.

Without any warning, the orbs continued their onslaught. Butch tossed his storm drain cover to Boomer and made a dash for the parking meters on the sidewalk with the blue covering for him. Butch reached them and pulled two of them out of the ground before twisting them together until they became one. As Boomer and Butch fended off the orbs, Buttercup and Bubbles were knocked aside like flies and away from the red super teens. The man walked towards the reds like a jaguar on the prowl. Bubbles got out her wand and swung it out in front of her.

"Bubble Champange~!" The blue puff yelled as she sent out a swarm of regular sized, golden glossed bubbles flying at top speed towards the hooded teen, the numbers reminding one of bubbles foaming out of a freshly opened champagne bottle.

The mark was dead on but the cloaked teen continued walking, completely unaffected, the bubbles either popping on contact or just blowing on and then cocooning around his figure.

"No way…" Bubbles breathed as her bubbles continued hitting their mark. As the guy stood over the two unconscious teens, Buttercup launched herself, zooming towards the man with her hammer held over her shoulder. The guy turned to face her as she quickly approached. His black staff appeared in his hand as the green puff swung down with great speed and power, a green light trailing her hammer. The guy lifted up his staff and intercepted the hit. There was a bright flash of green. When it subsided Bubbles looked on and saw her comrades' confused face as the green puff continued to push her hammer down on the smirking guy's staff. Buttercup's hammer trembled against the completely still staff. Bubbles gasped, Buttercup's Gravitation Drive was stopped. The cloaked guy shoved his staff forward and pushed Buttercup back. Bubbles flew forward, hoping to get in a in a surprise attack but was stopped when the guy pointed the staff at her and a green light blasted her, knocking her back. Buttercup turned at the scream of her blue friend.

"Bubbles!"

Buttercup zoomed at the cloaked stranger. He turned to face her with his smirk, the only facial feature showing from beneath his hood. He pointed the staff at her as well, a green light charging from the end.

"Don't worry, I saved half for you." He said as the green light rocketed out of the end like a comet, hitting Buttercup dead on. Now that the girls were out of the way, he reached down for the pink puff in the red ruff's arms. With their vision still disoriented from the rechanneled attack of Buttercup's Gravitation Drive, Buttercup and Bubbles looked up only to see the guys reach for their friend. They girls both gasped.

"NO! Get away from her!"

"Blossom-chan!"

Nobody ever realized that the albino had left the ruff's sides.

BOOM!

The guy was rammed by the pickup truck sized, antelope like albino and was sent flying into the wall of a bus stop, completely ruining the bus stop. Even though they were relieved that the guy was pushed away from their friend, the puffs sweat dropped at the sight of another piece of public or company property being demolished. Why did everything the guy crash into have to be completely and utterly destroyed!?

"AH!"

Everyone turned their heads at the sound of Butch's shout. The green ruff had been slugged across the face by an unexpected orb, his red right cheek swelling with pain. The orbs had then paused their movement due to their owner's disorientation. Butch turned to look at Boomer and the puff's, his hand cupping his cheek. His face was full of disbelief and pain.

"How… Why… Does it really hurt this much!?" Butch asked, fumbling at the beginning as if to put his thoughts into the proper words. The skin of the bruised changing from a bright red to a darker, bruise appropriate color.

The green puff and the blues teens didn't blame him. Their injuries from the spheres hurt more than they fathomed possible. They looked and saw that bruises were starting or already formed. It was like those things completely ignored the fact that they had steel skin and were able to make the wounded areas and the flesh around the said areas feel like tenderized meat. The geyser's light rain fell on their soaked figures. There were small splashes to the side and they turned to the sound. They watched spellbound to the surreal, dream like scene.

Through the light rain and weakened fog, the white antelope horned like albino walked towards the unmoved, wounded reds. She stood tall as she walked with light graceful steps through the shallow water, her figure seemingly glowed against the dark and dreary background. Her majestic wings opened on her neck opened slightly framing her slightly bowed head. Her ruby like eyes locked on the red teens that breathed shallowly on the ground. The white butterfly wings on her neck and the tips of her horns glowed bright light blue and white, her large wings shimmering bright light blue and white dust. Specks of glowing dust trailed behind her and mingled with her now somehow dry, flowing mane and tail hair, some landing on the dark waters and creating a path of light on the water. The beauty was breath taking...

Reaching the red teens, she leaned down until her face was near theirs and bated her wings once gently, the movement so soft and graceful that the air didn't utter a single noise during short the moment except for a single light ring that reminded one of a small glass bell chiming. The glowing dust blew over all around the reds, illuminating their tattered bodies with light blue and white light, before landing on their still illuminated, wet figures. Almost instantly, Brick's iron grip loosened and their bodies relaxed. With a carful nudge of her snout, the antelope like albino rolled Brick over onto his back and Blossom onto hers, revealing Brick's bloodied, reopened wounds and that Blossom's eyes were still open. The super teens gasped at the red ruff's wounded state and the pink puff's seemingly lifeless, unblinking form. She moved her snout to their face, brushing their faces softly, breathing in softly as if breathing in their scent.

"You know, I was planning for you to come out… I poisoned the boy… and the girl, well… I'm sure you already know what's wrong with her."

There was a screeching of metal down the street. The guy was getting up. For a strange untold reason, the puff's and ruff's had a simultaneous and understanding urge to protect the majestic creature. The puff's got up and the green ruff whistled at them. The girls turned and watched the ruffs neither do nor say anything except lift up both of their arms above their heads. They were slightly surprise for their silent message but their faces then turned serious. In a flash of green and blue, the puffs zoomed to their counterparts, grabbed them by their hands, and flew towards the rousing stranger. An unspoken truce was made.

Protect them.

Having pulled himself free from the caved in bus station, the cloaked teen continued talking, his cloak swayed at his ankles.

"You'll be doing me a favor if you do save them… that is, if it's not already too late."

The conscious ruff and puffs neared the hooded teen, completely aware that he was watching them with a smug grin. The puffs sped up before releasing their counterparts and launching them at the hooded teen. The guy took it, even opening his arms in a mocking welcome. The ruffs held their feet out and their feet slammed into the guy's chest, all three of them launching down the street at top seed. The girls called upon the moves they hadn't used since the second to last battle with Him, the white energy balls. The balls of pure energy glowed with a light that was almost electric. Their white glow slowly becoming dyed in the puff's represented colors. The ruffs saw this and jumped away from the grounded, cloaked teen. Bubbles summoned multiple light blue, orange sized energy balls near her bubble wand. Buttercup prepared a Swing Sonic with a light green energy ball the size of a watermelon at its flat face. Screaming harmoniously, the puff's released the orbs, Bubbles swiping her wand once and Buttercup swinging her hammer like a bat three times to release a powered sphere per swing, and sent them spiraling down the street to reach their target, the colored spheres revolving around the others as they flew.

The guy stood and dusted himself off just before the orbs made contact, the orbs exploding like destructive bombs of light blue and green energy.

They cheered, the girls high fived as the guys whooped and fist pumped. Their celebration soon ended when they heard a coughing fit erupt in the dark smoke. There the cloaked teen stood, coated in black soot. He started beating his cloths, trying to get the orange to reappear in his shirt. Giving up the futile attempt, he looked at the super teens with some type of approval, as if he was ranking their performance. Then he started clapping slowly, a pause between each clap, his head nodding twice.

"Bravo, that actually hurt a little bit."

After combination of the ruff's catapulted strength and the puff's strongest moves, the guy was only a little hurt!? They stared at the guy in disbelief…. How strong was he?

The cloaked teen looked behind them and smirked, knowing that he could easily manipulate them into finishing his job for them, and all he had to do was point his finger. That, he did. His arm stretched out in front of him and pointed at the albino behind them, a knowing smirk on his face. The puzzle four turned around to see a horrific scene. The creature that they thought they could trust, the one they thought would help, the one that they had distanced themselves from the reds for the sake of protecting them, was currently impaling the two limp red teens in the stomachs with its sharp glowing horns. Their eyes constricted from shock, no light reflecting in their eyes from their horrification.

"B-Brick?" The ruffs uttered.

"…No way." Buttercup whispered disbelievingly.

Surprisingly, it was the blue puff who made the first move.

"MO- BLOSSOM-CHAN!" Bubbles shouted, miraculously able to remember to use protocol at the last second, as she shot forward to stop the horrific scene. A mixture of fear and worry rose up her throat like bile before clotting in her throat, the sensation burning the inside of her neck. A desperate hope blossomed in her heart, praying that she wasn't too late.

With her head still bowed and horns still inside the reds, the beautiful albino only moved its ruby eyes and twitched one ear in Bubbles direction, keeping her horns completely still and steady. The tips of her horns grew brighter just before she pulled out. The light blue and white glow of her horns and wings turned into a bright red, the sparkling dust flickered and changed into small red stars, and the small bead like orbs glowed neon red with a small, burning, white core. Her light enchanting aura morphed into a dangerous barrier. Her white fur gave off a red sheen from the red orbs and dust and her wide, liquid soft doe eyes transformed into a battle ready glare, eyes hardening into rubies. The albino then turned to face Bubbles before she drew back her wings all the way and then started beating them, sparkles of red mixing in the mighty gale as it blew up debris and pushed back the blue puff. The sight of the blue puff crashing into a bike rack snapped the rest of the super powered teens back out of their shock.

Buttercup flew foreword to aid her blue friend and the ruffs bladed followed her at top speed to check on the red ruff. All three of them left the hooded teen alone in the fire hydrant's light rain, a smug grin pulling on his stupidly smug face. Buttercup fought against the winds and spun around at top speed with her hammer in her hand, pulling off a Hammer Hurricane to counter the gale with her own hurricane like winds. Her hurricane spun like a twister around her, splitting up the winds like a knife, dividing and pushing the gale to the sides, leaving a path that allowed the ruffs to skate towards them undisturbed. Boomer moved to rouse the blonde puff, using her as an excuse to avoid having an offhand conflict with the pickup truck sized albino. He had mixed feelings about having to hurt the creature that had played with them and had saved Brick from getting head smashed only for it to impale him itself. Butch, however, had no problem with pummeling the thing that made him sea sick, especially when that over grown horse had just stabbed his brother. Hell, he wasn't going to stop at pummeling. That thing just stabbed his brother. He was going to freaking murder it!

Butch skated up to the out of control spinning Buttercup, his wet clothes ruffled in her winds and his wet skin grew especially cold where the hole in his shirt was. He stared at her blurred figure as it spun. He stood, thinking of a way he could get her to launch him at that thing. But she was spinning way too fast for him to even grab the hammer. He pulled out his soaked, green sock from his foot and then paused, giving into his sudden urge to ask first… even though he knew that merely thinking it – let alone asking it- was just plain out stupid.

Through squinting eyes that tried to block out the forceful winds and flying water, Butch moved to cover his face with his arms before he yelled over the roaring winds. "Do you think you could slow down a little bit?!" He asked, already knowing the answer.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I WOULD IF I COULD GENIUS!" Buttercup yelled, her voice sounding chopped and echoic from her spinning but the annoyance was still very and obviously present in it.

Hey. She just called him a genius.

He sighed at the last bit of sarcasm, letting the insult slide by a hair. Besides, he had already known it was a stupid question. And it was a good thing she said genius, even though it was sarcastically screamed at him, because if she used anything else… he would've chucked his sock in her stupid spinning face! No one talks to Butch Jojo like that and gets away with it! Besides… no one's called him a genius before, even in sarcastic form, so he could let this one slide… but only barely… just this one time. And that's also because he really was about to do something genius, really.

Fighting through the wind that cocooned around the puff, Butch crept up to the hammer with his sock in hand, minding not to get hit. He moved his sock past the area where her hammer was and held it over the area where her staff would be. Lowering the sock half way into the blur, Butch watched as his sock whipped in and out of the blur. He was waiting for the right moment when his sock would wrap or go under the handle before he would catch the other end that would stick up. He watched, concentrated.

Fwoo, Fwoo, Fwoo.

A small peak of green showed from above the blur, going under it before untangling. Butch'e eyes narrowed. Almost… He thought before lowering the now damp sock a little more into the yellow blur.

Fwoo, Fwoo.

More green peaked up from the blur and Butch moved to grab it but missed, the sock once again unwinding. Dang it! Butch cursed, holding his free arm above the area and next to his other arm, prepared to grab it next time.

Fwoo.

Now!

In that one millisecond opportunity, Butch grabbed onto the sock's other end, his hand blurring like the green puff's spinning. Oh yea, he was a genius. He grabbed the handle without hurting himself.

"AH!"

Except, he wasn't prepared for was the spinning's force that had him clinging on painfully for dear life. He could feel his cheek's being pulled back, the force threatening to pull open his mouth, and he tried to fight it from doing so. The action only able make his lips close into a thin line as his stretched cheeks made his lips stretch with it, making it seem his lips had grown longer. He swore that he could feel the circulation in his fingers stop from how hard he was holding on to his sock. The world was blurring by fast around him, turning it into a canvas of smeared white and grey with spots of color wiped here and there, peaking from between the gaps in her vortex. He was getting sick but not as much as he had when he was riding on that white 'horse's' back.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing!?"

Butch looked up and was met by bright peridot eyes that shinned with both annoyance and perplexity. … Out of all the things, WHY WAS HE ABLE TO SEE HER!

"I'm going to launch myself at that stupid thing!" Butch responded

"Oh!... Alright then!" Buttercup shouted over the winds with a cheeky or tomboyish grin, agreeing with the plan.

"So how are you going to hit it!?" She continued, wanting to know how the boy would be able to do that when she herself couldn't see anything past her mini twister.

Butch froze at the thought.

He didn't think that far ahead…

Buttercup saw this and felt a vain pulse on her head.

"Why didn't- why would- damn it! YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT THINGS THROUGH!"

"SAYS THE ONE WHO DID CAN'T STOP SPINNING!" Butch threw back.

It was true. She couldn't stop because, even though she was able to redirect and block the gale of sparkling red wind, the gale kept spinning her like a breeze blowing on a pin wheel. So she couldn't stop unless the gale stopped. But even if she was stuck, that didn't mean she would let this little brat talk smack to her. Even if he was sort of, kinda, a bit, completely right.

"HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT I WOULD GET STUCK!" Buttercup yelled.

"Well, maybe, you- SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT THINGS THROUGH!" Butch quoted, using her words against her. That struck a nerve in the green girl.

"OH YEAH!? WELL AT LEAST I WAS ABLE TO BLOCK THE ATTACK! YOU'RE JUST STUCK!" Buttercup reprimanded, striking one of his nerves.

"HEY IT WAS A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME!" Butch defended.

"KEY WORDS, 'WAS' AND 'AT THE TIME'!"

"THE SECOND PART OF THAT WAS A PHRASE, NOT A WORD!"

"I DON'T CARE!"

Meanwhile, standing in front of the blue puff like a deer caught in headlights, Boomer was having his own battle… How was he going to get her up? He didn't want to touch her!... Yeah he should've gotten over it since he let her carry him no more than a couple of minutes ago, but that was then and this is now! He watched the blue puff hold her head woozily. Her eyes half lidded as she sat in the wrecked biking rack. They were in the clear path that Buttercup made so no flying objects were hurtled at them and no winds threatened to send them flying. There was no real harm but he was sweating with such nervous, fearful eyes that he could be compared to a normal man who was about to be forced to walk on hot coals. He was going to touch her… make PHYSICAL CONTACT with someone of the opposite gender, a completely different species, NOT in self defense for him or for his brothers but to help, TO HELP, this creature, this… this… GIRL! Unbelievable, this he knew… but he had to. Under who's word? That was uncertain, but the obligation was still there. He reached out for her elbow, which rested on top of the ruined bike rack and next to one of her limping pig tails, but stopped short… He gulped, he just couldn't do it… So he took the next approach, talking.

"Ano… eto… umm… are you okay ha-… Bubbles?" Boomer asked nervously, thankful that he had stopped in the middle of saying hag.

He wasn't stupid… okay, maybe a little bit air headed but not stupid. He didn't want to take any chances of making her mad this close up and being super slapped like last year, when they stole their clothes and undressed in the middle of the street to their underwear. Bubbles looked up, and turned in the direction of the voice. Her sight blurred and spinning, having hit her head pretty hard. She was met with dark blue-grey eyes and dirty blonde hair. Her still dizzy, clouded eyes glimmered with warmth, her eyes as brilliant as the clear blue sky, and a small, heart filled smile pulled on her lips, a light blush dusting her cheeks.

What's he doing here? She thought happily. Hehe he, was it just her or was her skin tingling? Oh, it was. Haha that's funny, heha haha… Oh… it doesn't tingle as much now. Sad face. It still tingled a bit, but only a little bit. Pouts. Oh well it doesn't really matter either way, she was just caught by her crush so she was happy. Giggle. Her head hurts though… but she doesn't remember why.

Meanwhile, the ruff's breath caught in his throat and he froze with shock, completely captivated by her sky eyes that reflected with their own light. For reasons he did not know, Boomer's cheeks warmed, a tinge of red hardly noticeable on his cheeks. His heart stopped for a moment, the stillness sending the last vibration throughout his body before once more beating in its normal rhythm. Boomer snapped out of his trance at the strange occurrence in his chest, his hand instinctively moving over to the area before grasping the wet clothing, as if the action would help clarify what just happened. He looked back up his eyes once more meeting those still dizzy but warm eyes that didn't quite see him yet.

Ba-dump.

What is this?

Not knowing how to feel about the sudden warmth in his cheek or the (what he believes to be) hiccups in his chest, Boomer decided to ask her once more. Suddenly feeling fidgety under her gaze, Boomer held his hands up in front of him as if to block out some of the dazed look she gave him, his gaze shifting to the side due to either the situation's or his own awkwardness.

"Bubbles, are you… um…alright?" Boomer whispered his voice softening as he went.

His voice must have been buried under the sound of drizzling water and swirling winds because she didn't show any signs that signified that she heard him. From the way her eyes were clouded, he could tell she was still dizzy and he didn't blame her if she still was. Llama-yack was able to knock- no, send the guy flying down the street and knock him into a semi conscious state. The hooded teen, who they only knock over once and haven't made a decent blow on yet, was sent rocketing down the street. If anything, he gave her credit for not passing out… or dying.

"Yes." Bubbles nodded woozily, her eyes still shimmering, and got up on her shaky legs. She only took a step before she fell backwards. She ended up leaning against Boomer, who was behind her at the time, and the ruff caught her unthinkingly. His hands holding, almost cradling, her upper arms awkwardly. His eyebrows upturned in surprise as he looked at the passed out puff. A small white light was emanated softly around the girl's figure and, unknowingly to Boomer, meant that she was about to retransform into Miyako.

"No, it doesn't look like you are…" Boomer stated, more to himself than to the blue puff.

Wow, who knew Powerpuffs could lie?

Bubbles woke up, whether from the sensation of her about to be retransformation or Boomer's voice was unclear. The white glow faded as her eyes opened. She looked up, her blush brightening, in that tired, dreamy state and smiled both gratefully and apologetically at the blue ruff. Her head tiltied back on his chest as she looked at his upside down face that stared down at her.

"Thank you Taka-chan."

"You're welcome… wait. Who's Taka-chan?"

"Huh?"

Bubbles opened her eyes wider at the comment. Her blurred vision started to clear… and the foggy image of Takaaki's dirty blonde hair and clear blue with grey-outlines eyes changed into light amber blonde hair and deep sea blue eyes. She blinked once. Twice. Unable to believe that the one that caught her wasn't Takaaki… but Boomer! She had momentarily forgotten the situation but now looking at Boomer was like a wakeup call. She stared at him with bewildered eyes and raised brows and he just stared back, puzzled. Boomer felt a small nagging in the back of his head that was telling him that he was forgetting something.

Nope, nothing… He doesn't know what it is… He stood there in the fire hydrant's light drizzle staring into shocked, sky blue eyes. The sound of his brother and the green puff arguing could be heard in the background. Cold, stray breezes wondered their way and blew at their wet figures, causing them to shiver lightly. The light warmth the blonde puff gave off could be felt where her head laid on his chest and beneath his fingers were he… were he…

Boomer's eyes widen with realization.

He was holding her…

He was holding… a girl.

"AH!" He let go of the blonde puff and took a step back, retreating as if he got burned.

With the only recent regaining of her sight and her only support of balance (Boomer) gone, Bubbles fell. The ruff quickly realized his mistake and rushed forward. Having intercepted the puff from touching the ground, Boomer kneeled on the ground with Bubbles' head in his lap, trying to keep her conscious. They couldn't afford having someone out of the battle. Though they were more in numbers, they were greatly disadvantaged even with their combined power, how much more will they be at a disadvantage if Bubbles passed out?

Bubbles fought to keep her eyes open, the light tapping of Boomer's hand helping somewhat. She kept her gaze locked on Boomer's face. Her sky blue eyes furrowed with concentration and confusion. It was strange… She wasn't used to seeing any of them in these states. Brick hurt. Butch protective. Boomer worried. The two ruffs were so serious when they found the red ruff. It was like a switch was flipped. She remembered the boys always laughing while mocking them, smug smirks or grins on their faces. No tears in their clothes, none of them injured, especially not as bad as Brick was now. No recollection came to mind of a time when of any of them took anything seriously, unless it was about a prank or plot to use on them. But even then, they would still carry this sense of childish arrogance with them that would remind her of the innocence of rowdy children that didn't know any better. Even if she knew the ruffs were far from innocent, that still didn't waver the image she saw of them. Her train of thought was cut off by a certain green teen.

"You know what, FINE!" Butch screamed, finally having enough with this stupid argument.

Paying no heed to where he would land, Butch released his vise grip on the handle enwrapping sock. In a blur of green, Butch was launched out of the puff created twister and he rocketed outward, slicing through the red sparkling gale as a tingly or prickly sensation erupted all over the skin on his body, the wind whistled in his ears, and his heart rate pumped faster with what he had taken as adrenaline. With his legs and feet at point, Butch felt his heart pump faster and faster before the soles of his wheeled shoes made contact with the horned albino's forehead. Then there was a loud THUD! The albino was unable to see past the swirling red and white winds she batted and had no idea of what was coming until it literally hit her, and quite hard she should add. She let out a noise of pain. The cry could be compared to a high pitched cry of a humpback whale, the sound ripping through the air like a wave through placid water. After impact, Butch fell like a sack of potatoes to the ground. He sat up in a fetal position and clutched his feet and ankles in pain as he stared at the albino with his shocked emerald green eyes.

The albino staggered backwards, her hooves shuffling and clopping on the ground randomly as her head shook and swayed. Residing on both sides of her neck, the large white butterfly wings' strong rhymed batting converted into a random flapping breeze, different amount of flaps followed by pauses in between. As the red gale's roar died down, the items that were swept up by the winds came to a ground sliding stop or abruptly landed with a loud crash. The clashing of the conflicting winds ceased and Buttercup's twister came to halt before it then dispersed. The green puff emerged from the wind's white curtain and staggered in place from her constant spinning, her hammer held limply with one hand and the other on her head. The albino's gale weakened to a mere hair tousling breeze and the tiny, glowing, dust like orbs- that made the winds' path visible- where now only blowing near the albino like a red dust cloud or a bubble, hovering around the giant disoriented creature. The few specks that barely reached the green ruff drew towards him, as if pulled by some other force, and then brushed against Butch's wet figure, floating and brushing on his clothes and skin, completely unhindered by the drizzling rain. The tingling sensation continued on the areas where the dust like orbs brushed on his skin.

Then the flapping stopped. The white winged, antelope like creature, in its dizzy state, walked backwards and her hoof stepped into a seven foot hole (the one that Butch and Boomer had fallen into earlier). The mythical like creature was thrown off balance by the sudden loss of support and, added with her disoriented stated, fell over, landing on the ground with a soft dooffm, water splashing from the contact. Everyone stared at the scene in shock…

Holy -what?!

Did Butch, did he just?

"Dude… what type of shoes do you wear?" Boomer asked in disbelief of the situation, not fully registering that he had said that out loud. Droplets of water collected at the ends of is sagging blond bangs before falling past his complexed face.

The idiotic question provoked Butch from his silent sate and, with his brows drawn, he bluntly stated, "Nikes."

"Really?!" Boomer looked on with added shock, having not expected an answer.

"Yes, rea- OF COURSE NOT! I wear the same exact brandless shoes you do!"

"Will you two idiots stop fighting! And Butch, GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!" Buttercup screamed, inwardly wondering why the heck those two kept on fighting.

Butch glowered silently, feeling a vain pulse under the thin tingling patch of skin on his brow. Who the heck did she think she was to boss him around? Brick? But before he could lash out in retaliation, the albino shifted on the ground before it moved to get up. The action forcing the green ruff to unwillingly heed the puff's order, splashes erupted abnormally violent behind him with every step until he came to a stop beside a kneeling Boomer.

With her hind legs still seated on the ground, the antelope like albino pushed upward with her front legs, her body trembling as she did so, only for her legs to give in, her head falling to the floor last. Her eyes darted to the fallen red teens on her right. She had to help them. Protect them. All of them. Even if she didn't know them. Even though she could care less for them. She had to. Because it was her fault for bringing them into this. She had to even though all she wanted to do was to run away from this place to find her friend before leaving with him, for them to be free from that wretched place. It was perfect too, they had a distraction. Even if the ruffs and puff's were by no means stronger than the cloaked teen, they would've been able to amuse him enough to escape. But… if her hunch was right, then this involves something much bigger than just her and her friend's lives. Something they both promised that if they had the chance in preventing that from happening, they would to their fullest extent, no matter what the cost.

So to keep true to her promise.

She had to protect them.

And in order for her to protect them.

She had to steal them.

With the reflection of the red teens laying peacefully side by side the only things in her red eyes, the albino moved her snout and front hoof towards the strawberry blond teen's face. As she did so, her body started to illuminate with a dark light, the pattern resembling the surface of stirred water with the different shades and tones, encasing around her large antelope like cryptic body as if it was a shell or mold of purple. With an echoing shatter, the purple illuminated light shell shattered like glass. The illuminated shards fell outward, falling into the air like a newly blossomed flower. The glowing petals breaking away to reveal a figure cladded in wet a black and white t-shirt, matching soaked checkered shoes, and soggy black cotton hoodie (the rest of her clothes such as her scarf and shades were discarded a while ago). Her white hair fanned on the wet, puddle road as she placed a hand on the pink puff's cheek.

"You have no idea how many people would give to have such a simple transformation." The cloaked teen said, feeling the need to point it out.

Still somewhat shocked at the now retransformed human teen, Buttercup and Bubbles couldn't help but agree inwardly at the remark, flashbacks being recalled of all of their the time consuming transformations. Butch and Boomer looked on with recognition. Boomer, who was now standing looked, at Butch before asking-.

"Isn't she the hag from before?" Boomer dumbfounded.

"Un, she was." Butch replied, the answer perking the puff's interest as they listened to their conversation.

"Eh? But before we didn't see her giving off any-"

"Light? Yeah, I know." Butch nodded, staring with narrowed puzzled eyes at the lady who laid on the ground. Turning to look at the green puff, who was supporting the blue puff by her shoulder, Butch made eye contact with the spunky brunette.

"Oi hag, do you see that horse-thing giving off any light?"

An annoyed twitch of her eyebrow and a grimace was Buttercup's first reaction at the ruff's complete dismissal of respect towards her gender, but otherwise said nothing as she disgruntledly turned to look at the female stranger's silhouette. Her eyes widened and eyebrows rose, there was no light being given off. She had expected to see at least some trace of colored light, whether a white light like hers or an almost black purple like the ruff's, but instead there was nothing. If the retransformation hadn't enfolded in right in front of her, she would've taken the older teen as a normal citizen, as a normal human being.

"No." She replied, her voice holding multiple tones but the most distinct was confusion.

"Hey, I just realized something…." Boomer breathed lightly with growing realization with brows slightly raised and facial expression mimicking one of idle thinking.

Of course, the seriousness of the situation just had to be ruined.

His idle statement drew the rest three teen's attentions, curious on what he would add on to the conversation. No one was really thinking of anything when the blue ruff spoke, only waiting for a response.

And naturally, it just had to be something that randomly threw off the conversation's topic.

"If she was the llama-yack…" Boomer continued in a dragged tone, leaving the sentence to linger in the midair, before he then turned to Butch with his blond brows now fully upturned from his processed discovery, his pointer finger pointing mannerlessly in front of the ruff's face.

"Didn't that mean we were just riding a girl?" Boomer asked, completely oblivious to the fact that his words had double meaning.

And yes, it just had to be something so uncomfortably embarrassing.

"HUH!?" The greens choked

"Oh my." Bubbles whispered.

Needless to say, the whole group (save for blonde ruff) erupted with red from embarrassment, the group stuttering as they chided the blonde ruff to refrain from saying such things. A verbal fight here, courtesy from the greens. A gentle explanation there, thanks to the blue puff. And a complete, random change of mood in a supposed to be serious situation that you could only get from this group of young teenagers.

Now, back to the situation at hand.

The albino haired teen, ignoring the previous comment of her retransformation and the current conversation, she stared at the puff's now peacefully closed eyes with undefined emotion. Her eyes squinted with reluctant determination before moving to grab the puff's collar. Still laying stomach flat on the ground, the white haired woman dragged the pink puff towards her body before she draped the heroine over her back, water moving and splashing with her movements. While she was repeating this with the red ruff, the cloaked teen, who had been pursuing her and her friend, casually strolled in her direction as if he was taking nothing but a leisurely walk in the park.

"What do you think you're doing." The hooded teen spoke lowly.

His voice was kept monotone but there was no hiding the ominous superiority in it. The sound of his voice reminding one of a scene where someone was laying in wait, shrouded in the dark, while sitting in a chair before turning on the light as they caught their victim doing something they both know shouldn't have done. Like chiding mother scolding a child who was caught with their hand in the cookie jar, only the tone not at all motherly. The accusing tone beckoned the distracted teens (the greens pulling and pushing at each other's faces, Boomer's head tilted to the side from confusion, and an awkwardly embarrassed but none the less smiling Bubbles who's brows scrunched up lightly) to look on from their own little world held at the side before they were all reeled back to reality in remembrance of the reds.

The female albino said nothing. With her palms flat on the ground, she pushed herself into a kneeling position, the reds laying across her back limply. A solid light of blinding purple encased her human form, the pattern of the light was like that of stirred water, before she started growing in size as hands and feet transformed into hooves, nose and mouth lengthening into a snout, hair into a main, neck stretching as wings blossomed from its middle, and short, pale cone like horns sprouted from her crown (which grew no taller than her doe like ears). In the shattering light, the now transformed albino cryptic didn't waste any time in running away, having taken her first shaky steps of her retreat as she was transforming. Now galloping away on light hooves as her passengers were quietly sleeping on her back (their feet and arms hanging like dead weight by her sides), the albino made her swift escape as she knew she was almost impossible to catch when running in her bestial form. Having left the perimeter of the fire hydrant's rain, the albino felt her wet and matted fur drying as she ran. Her small blue and white light orbs flittered from her butterfly wings and hovered around the unconscious teens before seeping into their skin. Moss that was like glitter in size and shape emerged from her mane and tail before the glowing specks landed on all three of them. The tiny shimmering plants absorbed more of the moisture from her fur and from the red's soaked clothing. She gave the reds an extra puff of glittering moss because of her distaste for the feeling of cold water dripping from their clothes and onto her back.

She was going to make it! She'll be able get away! Maybe… just maybe, she'll be able to reunite with her partner and they could escape together. He'll help her with the unconscious teens and then… then they could be free! No more pain, no more punishments, no more cells, no more lies, no more fighting, no more imprisonments, and… no more being tools. She grinned at the thought.

No more, no more, no more, no more, no more, no more -

"NO MORE!" She cried out loud, her words not coming out as human syllables but as a beautiful whale like chirp, the sound short but curved.

Freedom… The words sweet on her mind's tong, ringing like the notes of a flute playing and flying through the winds of an open field. Like a dream that had taken form of a star, and one that she was within reach from grasping it.

But she shouldn't delude herself too much. She still needed to get further away, out of the fog, and- hopefully- find her companion… She'll make it though, she will.

Because this was her only chance…

Poooowfffffft!

There was a swirl of grey whips.

Coming from a turning lane from the side, shadowed figures flew out in front of her. Their bodies facing her the entire time they appeared from the thick fog. It was true that she was faster than them, two pairs of green eyes glinted with wrath and vengeance, but she didn't know their city like they did.

"Okay, I'll let you win this one." Buttercup panted as she held Butch up with her and his arms locked together, admitting for this one time- and only time- that he was right on choosing what path that would catch up with the albino.

"Please, I already won all of them." Butch replied, panting as well. He was tired from arguing so loudly with the green puff. It was too damn hard to persuade this hag once she set her mind against something, but at least he won- and hell did he feel good on winning it. Besides, no one knew the city streets better than a ruff.

OH SHI-! The albino had to swerve away at the last second, not wanting to get a face plant of gender confused teens. She was pretty sure that the one in the in the skirt was a boy, basing it off of how masculine the puff acted and how much the puff kept using the word 'ore'. (AN: ore= a masculine word for 'me or I' that is used by Japanese boys and is very scarcely not to mention hardly ever used by girls)

However she was still very confused on the puff because, even though she was sure he was a boy, the boy was still wearing a skirt and that fact alone was what confused her.

She tried to lose them by speeding away but they were too close to her when she swerved, leaving enough time for the green ruff to grab the end of her tail. He alone dangled like dead weight but with the puff's added weight, it was like they were trying to pull off her tail! She tried to whip them off but they clung on tight. She could feel them climbing up her tail and tried knocking them off by letting her horse like tail bump into objects: cars, trucks, buildings, poles, signs, debris, and ect. But they clung on like ticks, refusing to be removed!

Meanwhile, Butch gripped tightly on the albino's tail and slowly pulled himself towards the red teens that lay stomach flat on the albino's back. However, as Butch climbed, Buttercup was clinging on the ruff's back for dear life. She would've grabbed onto the tail if she could but when Butch grabbed onto the tip of the tail, the albino started to get out of her reach. It was nothing short of a miracle when she was able to give a final burst of green light to catch up to those few inches before latching herself onto the ruff… even though she wasn't very comfortable with her arms wrapped around the ruff's flat stomach and her face pressed against his lower back. It wasn't like she wanted to! Oh no, the way they kept on getting knocked into objects and she was on the verge of being thrown off! So she had no other choice but to press her face into the small of his back, her eyes shifting from squinting to closing, and hold as tightly as she could onto the ruff's waist. Honestly wondering how the ruff was able to breathe with how tightly she was holding.

Butch didn't know either but he still could. He could feel how tight the puff's grip was and though it annoyed him, it didn't hurt him. Although, he couldn't tell if it made his legs fall asleep because his entire body was feeling that tingly or prickly sensation. It happened during and after he went through the albino's red gale and from then to until now, his body tingled. He wasn't even able to stop and wonder why because he was too focused on getting back his brother.

He was so focused that he even allowed the puff to hang onto him, knowing that she was just as determined to get the puff. And damn was she determined. Without even looking at her, he could see the fire blazing in her eyes. Hell, he could practically feel the heat radiating off of it. But it wasn't just her determination that allowed Butch to let her hang onto him. He also knew that if he had knocked her off, she would've leashed hell upon him later and he didn't want to deal with that.

Ever since Butch latched on, the glowing dust-like moss had also landed on them, soaking up the moisture from their clothes. So it wasn't until their clothes were dry did Buttercup notice that one of her arms wasn't on top of or grabbing onto cloth from a shirt. Instead, it was under the cloth and her right hand was grabbing on something smooth.

Huh? The green puff thought, completely ignoring the fact that they just were knocked violently into a dumpster.

Buttercup raised a brow in confusion. She bent the fingers of the hand that was under the cloth back and forth, trying to figure out what she was holding in that hand. The heroine continued to repeat the motion until Butch couldn't contain it anymore.

"BWAH hah HAha AHhaHaa. WHa- WHAhahat are YOU dOINnnngg!? STa- STOooop it! Stop it haaha ha~! I SAID STOP DAMNIT!"

Almost instantly she did.

She blanched. Almost all of her entire face was white except for the very fine, yet opaque, bright cherry red line of embarrassment that crossed her cheeks which practically worded out her thoughts- I can't believe I just did that...

Needless to say-

She felt incredibly stupid.

Butch's laughing fit caused him to stop climbing because he couldn't climb with laughter weakening his grip and focus. Finally able to calm himself down, Butch secured his grip on the tail that threatened to toss them aside before turned his head and eyes as best as he could in her direction, even though he knew he still couldn't see her.

"What the hell did you do that for!?" Butch screamed, his anger overriding his embarrassment, as he referred to the sudden tickled, yet curious about caressing she did to the side of his stomach.

She didn't reply but instead focused on trying to get her arm out.

Maybe if I just move it upward…

Thinking that her arm just slipped though a cut or tear in his shirt, Buttercup moved her arm upward to try and free her arm out of the shirt's supposed tear without unlocking it from its tight grip, not wanting to be flung off if she did. It was already tiring from trying to hold on with two arms and she was sure if she let go of one arm, then her grip with the other would be wrenched free quickly after. She tried continued to move her up but her arm was stopped by arched stop in the shirt, the cloth restraining her arm's advancement. Huh? At the same time the cloth pulled down on the middle of her right forearm, the cloth that was under her left arm pulled upward. Huh?

Realization dawned on her as she continued to try and tear the cloth and set her arm free.

It's not a tear… but a hole? Why the heck does he have a hole in his shirt!?

She thought. The unzipped jacket he was wearing had either hid the hole in his shirt to an unnoticeable degree or she was too distracted in the battle earlier to notice… Most likely both.

Buttercup again tried to wrench her arm free while keeping her grip on the ruff but stopped when she remembered that her own clothes, though thin and cloth like in almost every way, were as tough as steel. She reasoned that the ruff's clothes were the same, faintly aware of the shiver that ran down the ruff's back. However she was oblivious (or indifferent, it was hard to tell) to the fact of how close her hand gripped near the place where his heart rammed against his ribcage from his discomfort and his physical endeavor, seeing as he continued climbing (both grimacing as they crashed against and broke a lamp post).

His mind reeled and stomach churned when he felt the puff's arm move around erratically, almost frantically, against his skin when she tried to free her arm. But what made him react the most was when her hand stopped. It had stopped halfway on his left pec and the center of his ribcage, her finger tips just barely touching the place over his heart. He, for some unknown reason, shivered (not knowing if it was from his disgust, his discomfort, from its tickling, or the fact that he was now very aware on how warm and close her hand was). An embarrassed red flushed on his normally pale, white skin. But instead of slowing down on his climbing, he started climbing faster, wanting to quickly get to the top and to get her off.

After a sudden hurdle jump over numerous cars caused him to freeze when he was just an arm's reach away from getting to the albino's back, his mind going blank and eyes shrinking in size as a soft and uncharacteristic squeak passed his lips. The albino's jumping on the various sized automobiles caused the greens to lash around like a whip. But it wasn't what the wild and powerful jerks did to Butch (for he was still able to keep a firm grip on the albino even with it's sudden vigor filled and jagged movements) but instead what it did to Buttercup who then obliviously did onto Butch.

The following happened like this:

There was a jump,

A loosening of her grip,

Which followed by her panicking,

Then a scurry to maintain her grip,

And ended with a soft but firm squeeze~.

Remember where Buttercup's hand was previously?

Yeah, now you get the picture.

Then words found their way out of Butch's mouth on their own will.

"Would you stop freaking molesting me you freaking messed up, stupidly idiotic, perverted girl!" The green ruff found himself spitting out the last word as if it was the worst insult in the world.

Buttercup's face flushed red with anger and embarrassment. Even though she knew that she had no intention nor meant for it seem like that it, it was still embarrassing to have to hear her accidental action voiced out like that. Completely ruffled by the insult, Buttercup squeezed her arms around the ruff tighter, trying to suffocate him like a snake and have him cry out in pain for his punishment. But it didn't work. Butch didn't feel her python, vice grip nor did he feel any type of pain, but he did feel something else. What was her effort to excrete a pained noise was, to him, merely another squeeze on his left pec.

A vain throbbed on Butch's head. That is freaking IT!

Butch… had… had it!

And with a final frustrated yell, Butch hulled himself and his annoying passenger up and onto the albino's back. Buttercup let go of Butch and clung onto the albino's white fur below her as Butch scurried to get away from his puff counterpart. He climbed over the unconscious strawberry blonde, pink adorned heroine and scooted the rest of the albino's long back to get to Brick, who both lay on their stomachs with Brick lying closer to the albino's neck and Hyper Blossom lined up right after him. Butch went to the unconscious cap wearing teen's side. With the albino's neck to his back, he moved his daggered gaze to clash with the puff's a flamed one.

"Don't come anywhere near me you creep!" Butch yelled red faced with his left arm pointed at the puff and his right pulled back near his ribs, the palm of his right balled.

Buttercup's lips and brows twitched. With one arm still gripping the fur for security, she childishly pointed back at Butch while she glared harder at the ruff, the anger and embarrass filled flush of red came back to décor her face.

"You insult me for being a girl but that exact line has been used by a lot of girls!" She had no idea why she said that but she just did.

"I didn't even call you a hag or a girl that time!" Butch pointed out with unnecessary volume.

"So what of it!?" Buttercup answered with the same volume.

"That means you just admitted that you're a perverted, molesting creep!" Butch replied, his blush glowing brighter as he waved his arm up and down.

"I GRABBED YOU BY ACCIDENT!"

"WELL YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO STOP YOUR HAND 'THERE' BEFORE YOU SQUEEZED MY-"

"DON'T SAY IT OUT LOUD IDIOT!" Buttercup interrupted the hand that she was waving and pointing at Butch with now covered one of her ears.

"I'M NOT A GIRL! I DON'T HAVE BREASTS!" Butch responded so completely and thoroughly irked to the point that he didn't care about his embarrassment when he voiced it.

"BAKA! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT TYPE OF STUFF OUT-!" Buttercup shrieked in a very high, squeaky, and- yes- girly voice (but she'd kill you if you mentioned it to her face) but was cut off before she could even finish her sentence.

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" He retorted rebelliously.

With unhelped interest, the albino cryptic-lady listened with half amusement and half of annoyance. Were they really having this conversation right now!? And were they really having it on her back!? It was a rhetorical question but- yes, yes they were. She couldn't help it though and there was no use in trying to get them off either. If they were going to fall, they would've done so five minutes ago when she had started running in around and around in a circle at top speed. Now she was slightly regretting on spraying them with that limited red dust that she had been saving for herself later, even if she was only able to really get it on the green ruff. But if they were so distracted that they didn't bother to grab the reds the second they got on her back, then who was she to complain. She jumped off of the truck she was landing on. So now with the distraction and worry for the reds to be stolen back, the albino lowered her head and neck so that it was alined with her back, her wings opened and stretched out flat to steer. And like that she switched to high gear.

Buttercup's and Butch's conversation was abruptly interrupted when there was a sudden and large change of speed, catching the both of them in surprise. The force of the wind was so powerful that Buttercup had to squint in order to see and what she did see made her mouth drop, lips pull back into an open gap, eyes widen, pupils dilate, and brows rise comically.

"Gaaaaah!" Butch screamed in shock.

The ruff had been riding free handed, meaning that he didn't hold onto anything to keep him grounded. So when the winged antelope like albino abruptly sped up, Butch was suddenly thrown forward and, with his comically wide eyed and screaming face being displayed, flew right into an equally panicking yellow and green adorned heroine. Both thinking the exact same thing-

Oh shit.

Butch crashed into Buttercup. The only thing that kept them from being flung off was the handful of bunched up mane and coat hair that Buttercup held onto. Butch made a indescribable noise when he found himself once again pressed up against the puff. With an annoyed growl growing in his throat, Butch pushed a hand comically into the bed headed teen's face and the other on her shoulder, trying to push himself away from her and get even a little bit of distance between them. His hand pressed against her cheek made her face turn to the side into a funny squished and scrunched up expression, but even so there was no hiding that annoyed, which was quickly sharpened into a menacing, look in her eyes.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME ANYWHERE NEAR ME YOU FREAKING PERVERT!" Butch yelled with furious blush on his face, panic spinning wildly in his eyes.

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO FLEW TOWARDS ME!" Buttercup retorted as she too started to push against him and face, not showing any trace of panic on her face. But there was the still ever present anger and embarrassed filled blush on her face, although it was now brighter- and to the point of glowing, may I add.

"GET YOU AND YOUR GROSS, DUMB GRILY HANDS OFF OF ME YOU STUPID, DUMB, PERVERTED, IDIOT GIRL!" Butch yelled, his words sounding weird as the puff pushed on his face.

"YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE HERE THAT SOUNDS AND ACTS LIKE A GIRL, SO LISTEN TO YOUR OWN ADVICE!"

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Butch yelled as he was able to give a small shove at the puff's shoulder, pushing the arm of that shoulder away from his own.

"LADIES AREN'T SUPPOSED TO FUCKING SWEAR!" Buttercup shouted as Butch once again was pushed from the winds behind him and forced back into the puff's outstretched palm that had lowered when he pushed it down and away, causing her to end up pushing against the same spot that caused this whole argument. Butch's eyes widened as he felt the blood drain from his face at the familiar sensation.

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP TOUCHING ME YOU FREAKING PERVERT!" Was it just her, or did Butch's voice sound uncharacteristically squeakily high and feminine when he screamed that.

"STOP SAYING IT LIKE THAT!" At this point the skin on their cheeks was so bright red that it was burning.

"STOP MOVING IT!" Butch shrieked as Buttercup moved the hand that was on his chest.

"I'M TRYING TO GET IT OFF YOUR DAMN CHEST BUT YOU'RE PRACTICALLY BEING SHOVED AT ME!" Buttercup's felt her embarrassment grow higher than she ever thought possible when she realized what she just said.

"SO JUST LET GO THEN!" Thankfully, Butch didn't realize this slip up because if her did her would have used it against her but that comment brought back her anger.

"AND WHAT?! LET YOU RESHAPE MY FACE?!"

"IT WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT!"

"IF YOU WANT TO IMPROVE SOMETHING IMPROVE YOUR OWN FACE, YOU LOOK LIKE A GIRL!"

"IMMA BOY DAMNIT!"

"HAVE YOU LOOKED INTO A MIRROR LATELY!?" The heroine shouted, her hand unconsciously clenching with frustration and accidentally causing the ruff to squeal in horror.

"STOP SQUEEZING AND LET GO OF ME!"

"I'M NOT SQUEEZING AND ONLY IF YOU GET YOUR ANNOYING STUPID, BRATTY, SNOTTY FINGERED HANDS OFF OF ME FIRST!"

Holy freaking shit. The albino teen thought in her bestial form. Yes the argument was very annoying and very loud but it was getting very interesting and very funny now (and only SLIGHTLY perverted). She would listen to this all day because it was that entertaining but she still had a mission to do, a friend to find, and some unconscious teens to steal… Okay the last part of that sounded a lot less creepy when she was thinking about it. Seeing a disaster of battle wreckage laid out ahead of her and not wanting to dodge all of it one at a time, the albino jumped on the roof of a small newspaper stand, the windows shattered and the roof dented from her landing, before she launched herself on the roof of a store and then the other roofs of building. Going around all of the wreckage before she landing, back on the ground and continued to look for a way out of the fog, running at full speed with her wings at steer of course.

The movement, however, caused the green's hands to slip and their arms to push past each other's faces. The green puff fell backwards onto her back and the ruff tumbled quickly after. Opening his eyes, the green ruff opened his eyes and found himself lookup at the puff's face, which was currently staring at the sky.

Wait… Butch thought, processing the situation.

He was laying down flat on his stomach, his arms out stretched above his head, and his fingers tightly gripped the white fur under his palms, instinctively securing himself in place. He blinked. On the spot he was on, there was a rise and fall motion … a motion that eerily reminded him of... Blink, blink. It reminded him of… breathing? Breathing? Blinks. So if he was looking up at the idiot girl with his chin rising up and down in perfect sync with the surface, that he thinks may be a stomach, which he was on top of… Blinks twice. And if the rising and falling motion is breathing… then that means… His eyes widened.

Then… that means.

He was… lying on the stupid girl's… He was lying on the stupid girl's… he was, LAYING ON A GIRL'S-!

Butch breathed in.

Ladies and gentlemen, it was then when Butch let out the manliest scream he's made during that entire event.

"GYAAAAAAAAAHHH! GET OFF ME!"

Yep… That was it.

Butch's scream woke Buttercup out of her daze, and upon doing turned red when she realized their position.

"You're the one who's on me this time! So get the hell off!" No matter how masculine Buttercup acted, she was still a girl. So flushing with pure embarrassment was allowed this time.

"I WOULD IF I COULD!" The force of the wind that blew over them had him pinned down.

"YOU DON'T NEED TO YELL YOU IDIOT! I'M LITTERALLY RIGHT HERE!" Buttercup's ears were still ringing from when he screamed earlier.

"YOU WERE YELLING FIRST!"

"NO, YOU WERE! NOW GET OFF!" Buttercup forced her arms from her sides and moved them to grab the ruff's back. Her arms lopped around the ruff but the wind continued to push down her arms, so instead of looking like an effort to violently yank off the pale teen it looked like a tender embrace with her hands open palmed and pressed flatly to his back.

"I SAID GET OFF!"

"YOU GET OFF! AND PUTTING YOUR HANDS ON MY BACK ISN'T HELPING YOU DUMB GIRL!"

"I'M TRYING TO PULL YOU OFF!"

"AND I'M TELLING YOU TO STOP TOUCHING ME!"

At that remark, Buttercup sunk her short nails into his back and squeezed. She tried to pull her arms upward. If she couldn't pull the boy off, she would at least try to pull his skin off. Freaking brat made her sound like some perverted old coot.

"Well I toldYOU to- STOP SAYING IT LIKE THAT!" She screamed, her face resembling that of a demon as Butch screamed in fear.

Mean while

Damn teenagers with their hormones and short attention spans.

_(*ω)_ Still in Third POV_ \()_
[•-•]…10 minutes earlier, when the albino just ran away with the reds…

The booming volume of clopping hooves against pavement was swiftly softening as the distance grew. The green puff reacted immediately. Her body turned in the direction that the large creature was escaping, getting ready to zoom off and pursuit after them. However, in mid turn another body launched itself at her and successfully tackled her to the ground. Buttercup gritted her teeth in annoyance, having an inkling who had sent her tumbling. The green puff turned over and saw Butch pushing himself off the ground, glaring back at her the entire time. Before she could voice her annoyance, the ponytailed boy beat her to it.

"Baka! You know how fast that thing is! Following the path it's taking doesn't mean that you'll catch up!"

"Then what am I supposed to do? Stay here and let that thing take my friend and, um, oh yeah, your brother!" Buttercup hissed, thoroughly annoyed. Anxiety, worry, anger, and fear knocking around in her stomach, which sent an itch to her hands and feet, at the awareness of the growing distance between them and her kidnapped friend.

"No, you stupid hag! Now shut up and listen!" Butch retorted with anger and annoyance but there was something edging, hiding, in his voice that got her to look up into his eyes. She was somewhat surprised at finding her own turmoil of emotions reflecting back at her from his desperate gaze.

"We had come here earlier during the mayhem and we had seen down that direction," Butch gestured to the direction that the cryptic had disappeared down. "-the road that goes straight toward a draw bridge."

The three super powered teen's eyes widened with recollection.

"But that's not what worries me."

The others nodded in agreement. Down that road was a drawbridge for a rather wide river and it would often lift up for boats. What had all of them now worried about was the fact that the continuing road after the bridge was one that lead into forest, and after that mountains. The girls' fear took a sickening turn for the worse when Butch voiced what the boys already knew and that they had already assumed.

"It's the bridge. It's down."

"So why are you holding me back!?"

"I know a short cut so take me with you." Butch said quickly as he and the puff both got up. He had to put aside his discomfort for awhile until they got his brother back.

Buttercup would've shot down his offer but then hesitated, biting it back. He wanted his brother back just as bad, if not more than, she and Bubbles wanted their best friend and teammate back. Who was she to say no?

Before she could respond though, she found herself grabbing one of the green ruff's arm and lifting them into the air and out of the way of the barrling palm sized, black spheres. Bubbles did the same to Boomer and the puffs started doing aerial acrobatics, while still carrying the ruffs, in order to doge the attacks. Butch and Boomer dangling from their grip and occasionally having to lift up their legs or bend their bodies in a certain way just to barley avoid becoming a target themselves, the orbs continuing to barrel past them.

"As much as I would love to watch you guys look like idiots all day, I unfortunately have something else I have to do." The cloaked teen spoke dejectedly.

His black orbs orbiting around him like a moving spherical dome. Just then the last black orb blurred past the floating teens and found its place among the others. Then the stranger gave a theatrical bow and then in a split second the black spheres suddenly zoomed in on his body, covering his entire body in black until it didn't even resemble a humanoid figure. The spheres knocked against each other and created a clink or buzz like sound every time they collided. As soon as they covered his body, the black orbs all moved together as if they were a single living being. They carried, but not revealed the teen it held inside, and levitating up and flying down a street, making the buzz like clinking that reminded one of colliding magnets as it flew. The direction confused the teens, because instead of following the albino it went to another road.

"Boomer, can you go see what that guy is up to? I have a feeling it's something nothing good for us but if you can't catch up with him then you try to make it to the drawbridge and raise it before the 'llama-yack' gets there. I'll try to do something to slow it down." Butch said, completely ignoring the fact that he had left the girls out of that conversation."

Bubbles looked at her green eyed friend in confusion, not knowing whether to go with the plan or not. Buttercup met her gaze and, though she wore an annoyed and reluctant expression, nodded, telling her to go with it.

"Oi, hag, hurry up and go this way!"

"Shut up you one eyed brat!"

And with that the two groups parted ways, the greens zooming for the short cut and the blues pursuing after the mass of flying spheres.

The blues continue to speed after the mass of spheres but it was getting harder to do because the mist of fog or whatever it was kept getting thicker and thicker. It reminded Bubbles of when she was flying through a cloud only not as cold or as wet but just as dense. They had used the sound that the spheres made a guide but it only worked to a certain degree because eventually, they couldn't see. Several times she almost flew them right into an object. It got so bad that the blue puff had to stop and set the ruff down on his feet, still hovering above the ground.

"Now what are we going to do?" Boomer complained, frustrated. He would've done plan B but all they couldn't tell where they were. Everything except for an abandoned car to their right and the ground they, or at least he, stood on was a whitish gray. Never the less, Boomer just sighed and started walking in the direction of the clinking buzz noise with Bubbles hovering closely behind.

Bubbles stayed had silent. Not responding partially because she didn't have an answer and the other part was because she didn't know how to address him.

She didn't want to just call him just 'Boomer' because, to her, that meant that she was close to him and had a mutual respect for each other but she did not have either. In fact she was still a bit angry from the skirt flipping incident and the name calling didn't do him any good. However, she didn't want to him 'Boomer-kun' either, in fact she didn't want to add '-kun' to his name at all. She had that honorific for families and friends. Boomer was neither a family member nor her friend as of yet. And she wasn't very eager for him to be either. Recalling the feeling of rage and embarrassment the boy in front of her had caused, from the skirt flip, to the clothes stealing, the mooning, and the name calling.

But she doesn't hate the boy, and there were times where boys will be boys. The incident from earlier, when she had a dizzy spill and Boomer catching her flashed through her mind. She stole a glance at the back of the blond teen that walked a head of her. A small optimistic smile tugged on her features, seeing the boy in a brighter light. Maybe he isn't a bad person after all. She thought as the memory of his slightly panicked and worried face hovering over hers as he had desperately tapped her cheek to keep her with them. Maybe a little rude, but he does have Mojo as a parent.

That thought brought her back to her dilemma.

Calling him a 'Jojo' was out of the question as well. Quite frankly, she wasn't even sure if 'Jojo' was their last name. She thought that 'Jojo' was part of Mojo's first name, like how 'Mary-Jane' could be an entire first name. But even if it was a last name, he had two other brothers that carried and same name and that would get confusing. Bubbles was so deep into her thoughts that she didn't even noticed that Boomer had stopped until she crashed into his back.

Her shock made her stopped her from flying and drop two inches onto the ground. Standing up straighter, Bubbles was about to ask him why he had stopped when she was abruptly cut off by him grabbing her by the arm and pulling her behind an over turned delivery truck. Bubbles was about to ask about his strange behavior when he covered her mouth with his gloved hand and put his forefinger in front of his pulled lips, the top set of his teeth showing, as he gestured her to be quite.

It was only then that Bubbles had the random realization that Boomer was just as tall as her. Her bluer eyes the exact same level as his darker blue ones. Bubble felt her eyebrows rise slightly. The rowdy ruffs had grown… When did that happen?

She had never bothered to memorize the blue ruff or the other rowdy ruff boy's features any higher than the basic listing of; their hair color (blond), eye color (blue), clothes (jacket and pants), weapon (her used q-tips), and height (short). But she did remember that he used to be a good four inches shorter than her, his eyes used to be a lighter blue (from what she could recall, similar to her own hue), and his hair was much a yellower blond. She probably wouldn't have ever noticed these changes if he didn't literally have his face in front of her own.

His hair wasn't a bright golden yellow anymore but light blond amber, reminding her of the color of the sunset light shinning off a golden wheat field. His eyes had turned from the shade that was similar to her own to a darker and, somehow, deeper blue. It was like that of a clear yet unlit lake and that the deeper you looked, the darker it got, and resting at the bottom lay a sapphire that was as dark as the depths but still shimmered with a brilliance of its own. I bit poetic, she admits, but it was the truth. Before she could even begin to wonder why these features of his had changed color, another unnoticed feature stole her attention. Her eyes focused on the discovered area with a bit of fascination.

I didn't know he had freckles!

There wasn't a dump load of them and they weren't very noticeable because of their light color, but still there if you looked at them. They were just a touch or two tanner than his regular skin color (a couple of them slightly tanner and more noticeable). They also lightly, ever so lightly, dusted only the tops of his cheek, the area of skin right under his eye lids, only a couple few dusted past his cheek bones, and even fewer (almost invisible due to being to light) sprinkled the bridge of his nose.

Bubbles was snapped out of her observations when Boomer waved a hand in front of her face, staring at her with a puzzled face that clearly said what he was thinking. What are you doing?

But then shook his head the second she started to form a syllable and once again gesturing her to be quite. Actions saying, It doesn't matter just stay quite.

Bubbles nodded with understanding and Boomer went over to the back of the over turned delivery truck. He looked over the corner before pulling his head back and then looking at Bubbles, expecting her to do the same. Hovering over him in the air, Bubbles did so and peeped over the metal corner.

Her mouth dropped, eyes widened, and pupils constricted into black dots. There was an almost inaudible sound of her gasping.

There the blues watched from a short distance away, the mass of black orbs they had followed, hovered in the air in the shape of a sphere. It slowly lowered to the ground like a desending elevator would do before the solid black orbs pulled away and dispersed into nothing as they revealed the hooded figure beneath. That spectacle, however, wasn't what they were looking at. Oh no they were looking at the very, very large, dangerous, purple and black spotted, tired, alibino kitty cat that the equally dangerous cloaked teen was walking towards.

It wasn't really a kitty cat but a giant, bus sized albino cheetah who's spots fluctuated from neon purple, bright purple, and black. It was pretty banged up they observed. There bleeding here and there, fur dirtied and ruffled, eyes closed from either exhausted or unconsciousness, oh- and there were three horseshoe bent lamp posts that anchored the giant feline (on both of the forelegs and one on the hind legs) to the ground.

Bubbles could only wonder how that thing was in bad shape and why it was even there.

With a flick of his wrist, the cloaked teen summoned his black staff. The black pole horizontally hovered in mid air above its master's hand before zooming off like a bullet and cutting/breaking the bases of the u-shaped metals that bound the giant feline. With a metallic creek, the restraints broke free before falling when the feline tried to force itself up. It's knees buckled and gave in, crumbling to the ground in exhausted defeat. The black staff returned to its owner, now gripped in his hand. The curiosity of the blues, the lifted his staff up. He held it up there dramatically before slamming it against one of bent and now broken lampposts.

Driiinng~

"Get up." The stranger commanded, his tone was cold and indifferent yet demanding at the same time.

Much to Boomer's surprise the albino feline reacted, the creature letting out a hiss of pain but remained there on the ground. Bubbles felt a sharp and painful shock to her ears and temple and then tried to brush it off, as she was trying to focus on watching the scene before her.

Concealed his hood, the cloaked teen's eyes narrowed with annoyance before he lifted up the black pole and slammed it louder.

Driiiiiiiinng~

"I hate repeating myself."

And the beast gave a soft agonized filled cry before finally being able to lift itself up and off the ground. Boomer was so transfixed on the confusing spectacle that he was oblivious to the fact that Bubbles grabbed her head and ears in pain and then started falling, unable to keep herself in the air. He still didn't notice until she landed right on top of him. Both crashed onto the ground in a piled heap. Boomer would have screamed and went out into a ballistic scene but the fact that there was a crazy scary and crazy strong dude controlling a giant cat that could easily swallow him in one bite was enough to keep him quite… that and the fact that Bubbles was cupping her head in an eerily familiar pose. Not as desperate as he and his brothers had done before when they had writhed in agony but a more milder version, not as strong but still in pain. The glazed and pained look in her eyes confirmed that.

Unthinkingly Boomer sat up and helped her to do the same. Lowering his head a little to get a glimpse of her down turned face. It was pained but it looked like it was quickly residing. He knew this yet he reacted before he could even think and once again did something that was out of his character.

"Are you okay?" He asked, before freezing at his stupidity.

He was the one who was trying to keep her quite. So, why was he the first one to talk?! He was too scared by his actions to even move and watched as Bubbles' shoulders relaxed before she looked up and nodded at him, a faint and uneasy smile gracing her features. And for some unexplained reason, Boomer relaxed too.

Huh, that's weird… His expression turned slightly puzzled by the strange occurrence, his gaze not really looking at anything. Then throwing another puzzled look at Bubbles, that also had a hint of annoyance and accusation, before turning around to face the corner. He leaned to the side and tilted his head as he did so, with his hands on the ground for balance, in order to peep one dark blue eye over the corner to see.

Boomer's eyes immediately locked with two blank pools of white eyes.

His just relaxed muscles tightened back up.

He was petrified like a stone.

Both of their heads were turned and looked right at him.

We've been seen.

"Run!"

Next chapter: Chapter 4- The battle and... the save? Part 2

…Maybe I made it a little dark… or is the word: violent? Dang… it was like chapter 1= Emo, Chapter 2= Funny, Chapter 3= Violent/Dark... Oh and HAHA! XD When the guy said 'Get the girl', I bet most of you thought the girl was Momoko. Nope, sorry!

Oh yeah and, I know even though Momoko and Brick are the first and main pairing in the story, not much is said about them… yet. Trust me you Red fans will get your red moments. And there will be a lot of them. There will also be a lot of green and blue moments but red will have a slight bit more. Plus the drama is mostly gonna be around them! :D

Well, there's the third chapter! Hope you liked it! Also it's fine if you complain that it's too long but just think of it as something to make up for the fact that I haven't updated for a long time. PLEASE REVIEW FOR ME!

But also, I am sorry if it was long, but I really just wanted to get the fighting scene over with... (-_-|i) but it was in vain for it is still not over… trust me, I'm crying as much as you are. I HAD TO CUT THIS CHAPTER INTO THREE PARTS! (thisisthesecond)

However, I promise and this one is definite, the fighting scene will be over in the next chapter! (TTuTT) and no one is more happy about that than I.

I mean, three chapters for a fighting scene?! Ridiculous! If I was a reader, I'd probably abandon the story for a good month… or year, just to skip all the fighting. But if you guys did that, well you'll miss some important stuff. I must be honest; I usually hate stories that have a vague plot line or no plot line at all. I usually only like those stories if it is really well written, funny, and engages me.
I promise though, the story dose have a plot line but I don't want to rush it like it did with the draft version of this story, which honestly was probably a completely different story but same plot… that made sense right?... Probably not…

But still, holy shit this was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too long.

Please review! I wanna know what you guys think! I accept anonymous reviews!

Am I being needy? Probably, but it's hard to find a writer who wants to improve to but not want feedback. SOoooooo, tell me! Tell me, tell me, tell, me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me!
Tell me if it was too boring! I tried not to make it boring. Sorry if you don't like OC's. Trust me I don't like it when there are too many Oc's. So if you're like that then I know how you feel but if you don't like them just bear with them. There aren't going to be many and actually I'm restraining them because I want to focus on the main six.

I'm no writer. I don't take writing classes. (Well I was recruited to a special literature class for some type kids in elementary but that was only for about a month before I had to move again. I don't even know how or why I was recruited.) Heck, I hardly read any real stories made by authors anymore! So I'm flawed. AND I WANT YOU GUYS TO TELL ME MY FLAWS IN THIS CHAPPIE!

Hit dat review button!

The real Authors Note.

If you guys wanna know why I haven't updated… well… There are life complications and I really don't like talking about sad stuff that will only make people pity me and will only make them sad. Sooooo, I won't talk about that! ;p

Okay, I am studying for a driving test for permit, studying streets… or trying to!, my drawing program sai was deleted somehow on my computer many months ago (I think it was in Febuary) and it wasn't in my recycle thing… It just wasn't working, as in it wouldn't open. I had done the tutorial before I got the free version, which I was so freaking happy I got even though I didn't know how I got it. I had the free version with me for more than eight months but then it just stopped opening! SO I was looking for another Sai version but I couldn't and the mini comic I'm almost done with won't open without sai! So I ended up having to wait for so many months (half a year) until I could buy the whole version. Not only that but we moved again… we drove… across the US… again. But it was pretty, again, and I got more pictures of the 'Welcome to insert name here' state signs I missed the last couple of times. And no I am not kidding. East coast to west coast. So yeah, I gotta catch up with school (but even if I did stay after school the week after I enrolled to catch up on the homework for that quarter, I still haven't finished and my chemistry grade in the toilet). And I have to leave a week before winter break to go to the Philippines but the thing is, the week I leave is when the school has finals and being in 11th grade…. I have to get my already bad grades to go up. So I have to take the finals before everyone else.

There's more but I just said I don't want to write anything sad because for some reason I have a feeling that somewhere out there, a person is reading this and pitying me. So if you are that person- "STOP THAT!"

Oh and on the bright side.

If you look up Lunalayosa-1031 on , I'll have you know I finished part one of a long comic I made… YES AFTER ALL THIS TIME IT'S ONLY PART ONE *goes to hide in corner* but don't worry, it's long. Also it's nicely drawn, I think. Well you be the judge of that.

But it's mostly for the friends who keep reviewing to this story and on my DA account. I honestly wanted to talk to you guys but felt guilty because I haven't put up anything in a while.

I'm sorry for the long Authors Note… Please review!

If you do and say you want part two of that comic in your review here, I'll probably continue… Probably. (You have to please the Royu of my brain enough though.)

Review, review, review, review, review, review, review, and then I'll love you even more if you do!
