Percy's POV

The Princess Andromeda and the Argo waited in the waters behind the mountain range, just out of sight from any sentries Luke might've placed to look out for us.

Using my powers to make sure the two massive ships wouldn't drift into their view, the anchors were lowered.

"Board the paddle boats and go to shore, we need to be as stealthy as possible to take out that sentry." I said to Leo, Piper, Gwen and Malcolm.

They nodded and boarded a boat, Beckendorf lowering them into the waves.

Reyna approached me. "Our fighters are ready."

"Good," We walked to the bow of the ship. Leo and Malcolm had rowed about halfway to the shore, and from where I was standing, I could see a opening in the cliffs, just like Reyna had said.

"No way," I muttered.

"You see it?" Reyna asked and I nodded.

Too bad the way up there was guarded by at least five lookouts. But Annabeth was up there.

I had her to fight for, and I would fight through a thousand of Luke's armies to get to her.

By now, our scout team had made it. I watched nervously as the four pirates crept up the rock face. One wrong move and the entire operation could fail.

I turned back to Reyna. "Tell the crew to get ready to make their way to shore in case they need backup. I just need to do something."

Reyna frowned, but nodded and went to relay my orders.

I rushed back to my cabin, where Calypso was staying while we fought Luke. She looked up from the desk when I burst into the room.

"Percy, I-" She started to say.

I cut her off, "Are you done?"

Pursing her lips, she reluctantly showed my the vial of clear liquid. "Percy, please don't do this. This is incredibly dangerous."

"I have to do it Calypso," I said, taking the vial and tucking it in my pocket.

"What if it doesn't work?" Calypso protested. "You can't just cheat death."

I sighed, looking down at my feet. "Nico knows what to do. It'll be fine."

Calypso shook her head, resting it on her hands.

"I have to go. Thank you Calypso, for everything."

"Thanks for getting me off the island." She said. Her voice made me feel like this wasn't going to be a goodbye, but her dark eyes said something different.

Leo's POV

Malcolm beckoned for the three of us to hide, and I flatten myself against the cliff face, Piper and Gwen on either side of me.

"How many guards?" Gwen asked.

Malcolm peeked around the rock. "Three."

I slid my war hammer out of my belt. "I'll sneak around them and take the on of the right, Piper take the left, and you two ambush the middle one."

The other pirates nodded, and I crept to the right side of the path, hiding behind rocks as I came behind the guard.

He heard me coming and turned around just in time to see my hammer flying towards him.

It got him on the back of the head, and he crumpled instantly, out cold. I hog-tied and gagged him, then I continued to meet the others.

The Princess Andromeda and the Argo were waited out of sight, but I knew any second know, Percy and Jason would send the rest of the crews in the boats. We would ambush Luke's camp and rescue Annabeth.

Piper had taken out the left guard, and Gwen and Malcolm leapt out of the hiding spot and jumped the remaining soldier.

I looked back at the Princess Andromeda, where Calypso was waiting for me to get back.

Piper led the way up up the path, where one more set of sentries was unaware of our ascent.

TIME LAPSE

When we made it the top, the unconscious guard at our feet, I took the flare our of my belt.

I lit on the rock, signalling to the others that the coast was clear.

Almost instantly, fifty or so pirates came from behind the cliffs, making their way towards us.

It was time to fight Luke, hopefully for the last time.

Annabeth's POV

I was sitting on the rickety bed when it started.

There was an explosion, the sounds of crumbling rocks and screams of pain.

I leapt to my feet and rushed to the boarded-up cabin windows, trying desperately to open them.

Percy was here. I had to let him know where I was.

I pummelled the wooden boards with fists, pulled at them, tried to remove the nail with a blunt knife, but they wouldn't budge.

"God dammit!" I cursed. "PERCY!"

Suddenly, the door burst open. I beamed and turned around, but it wasn't him.

The smile melted off my face as I came to meet Luke's expression of absolute rage.

He lashed out and grabbed my arm.

Luke pulled me out of the cabin. Now was my chance.

I yanked my knife out from under my dress and drove the edge of it into Luke's armpit.

He bellowed in agony and pain, he grip on my wrist slackening.

Pulling away from him, knife still in hand, I sprinted towards the battle.

The walls of the cavern were alight with Greek fire from the explosion, and Luke's army was going against the full strength of the pirates.

And in the front line was Percy, Riptide a deadly arch in his hands.

He was a demon, swirling through the battle with unbelievable strength.

I rushed towards him, pushing through Luke's soldiers and cutting down any who tried to stop me.

"Percy!" I called, and he looked up.

He eyes lit up, his lips twitching up in a smile.

In the midst of the battle, Percy ran to me, and I threw myself into his arms.
