When they raced into his room, Splinter was meditating.
He quickly got up. Seeing the distressed faces of his sons, he asked, "What happened?"
Raph was quick to explain. "They took him, Master. They took Mikey."
"They took my son? They took Michelangelo?" Splinter's voice rose. His fur was bristling. He was furious. Not only did they take his injured son, like a coward, they took away the youngest.
"Yes, Master. They're long gone by now." Leo replied hesitantly.
Neither had ever seen Splinter so angry before.
He moved quickly. Packing a bag with various weapons and armor, Splinter called over his shoulder, "Come, my sons. We must pack. Call your brother and tell him to pack as well."
"Where are we going?" Leo asked. He wasn't about to leave his baby brother in the hands of Shredder.
"To save Michelangelo."

An hour later, four turtles, a giant rat, and a three humans stood in the daylight, on a rooftop, facing the building where Donnie was sure they were keeping Mikey.
"It's the only place that makes sense." He said adamantly.
A clock ticked up to the hour.
Eight shadows disappeared into the darkness of the night.

When they got around to the back of the enormous skyscraper, Donnie started to hack into the video feed.
"And...Got it!" He whispered.
The video showed hundreds of Kraang in business suits, all eerily similar to each other. They were marching along in step with each other.
Next to him, Astrid shivered.
"This is like cloning on steroids." She whispered.
Raph laughed harshly. "Yeah, that's one way to put it." He responded.
Casey stepped up.
"So, what do we do now?" His voice was muffled by the mask that covered his face.
"Well, you three are waiting here. It's too dangerous for humans to go in. You haven't had the proper training!" Leo told them firmly.
April protested. "But Mikey's in there! You'll need all the help you can get!"
Leo told her calmly, "Yeah, and that's why we need you guys here. In case something goes wrong, we need a backup plan."
Her shoulders slumped.
"All right."
Casey scowled, but accepted it with some indistinct muttering about 'glory-hogs' and 'just want to have all the fun'. The brothers ignored it, exchanging amused glances.
Astrid stepped up. "I'm going." She said.
Master Splinter stood up sharply.
"No, you are not." He said, an edge to his voice.
"Yes, I am." She said. "Look, there are some things that have to be treated right away. If we find him-I mean, there are some wounds that-Look. I'm his doctor. If I can treat him right away, he has a better chance of living.
No one protested that he might be all right. They all knew better.
Raph told her, "You haven't been trained. You'll get killed in the first few seconds!"
She stood her ground as she had done a month ago.
"Tough. Besides, I know more than you think."
The boys looked at Splinter. His eyes were sharp, but had a thin veil of glassiness over them. As he turned away, Donnie could have sworn he saw a tear roll into the thick fur.
"Fine."
Hope you guys had a great day!
