Hey guys! :D

Hope you like this chapter!

Percy's POV

All I could see was white. Everything around me was blinding.

I lifted my arm to shield my eyes, willing myself to shuffle forward on weak legs.

Pain clouded my vision, washing the white world in red. My throat burned, my chest ached, my heart was pounding.

Where was I? What was my name?

"Percy," A woman's voice called. Was that my name? Percy?

I turned to see a beautiful blonde haired woman, a fews younger than me, her eyes the only splash of colour in the room, a wonderful blue. She glowed with golden light.

"How are you here?" She asked, her voice rich with anguish and confusion.

I tried to answer her, but my voice came out a dry croak. I coughed, feeling the crushing pain in my chest intensify.

"Where is this? Who are you?"

The woman frowned, reaching out to me. "Take my hand, Percy."

I looked at her outstretched hand, and moved to grab it, but my hand slipped through hers.

Her eyes widened in alarm, tears brimming and beginning to fall.

"Now is not his time, Atalanta." a new voice said, one that I vaguely recognised.

The woman that had spoken was older than then the blonde one, her hair dark and long. The skin on her face was slightly wrinkled with age, especially around her blue eyes.

"Percy, you have to go back. You can't be here."

I frowned. Memories were just beyond my reach, but I knew these two. They were important to me, why would they want me to leave?

"Percy," Someone called, but their was distant, no more than a whisper in this still air. "Please come back to me, I love you."

The girl called Atalanta sobbed at the last words.

"Go to her," the other one said. "Live your life," She added with a smile.

A door opened on the white walls, and suddenly the voice calling me back became louder, and I felt drawn to it.

I moved to the door, turning back to look at the two women waving goodbye to me, and then I stepped through.

I returned to myself with a gasp of breath.

I blinked, my surroundings coming into focus.

The white world was gone, replaced by a wooden cabin. I was on a bed, the room rocking slightly, like we were on water.

A girl hovered over me, her grey eyes dark and bloodshot from crying. Tears still streamed down her cheeks, but now she smiled.

"Percy!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around me. I let out a groan of pain, but wrapped an arm around her and held her close.

She was warm against my cold skin, and she fit perfectly in my arms.

Annabeth. I whispered her name, and she pulled back to look at me.

"I can't believe you did that, you scared me to death."

"I'm sorry." I managed to say, pulling her back to my chest and holding her tighter.

After everything we'd been through, I'd only just gotten her back and I didn't want to let her go again.

"It's ok," Annabeth muttered against my shirt. "Just don't let me go."

That was something I could agree with.

A few hours later and I was back on my feet.

The potion Calypso had made worked fast, but Annabeth had insisted that I stay in bed until I was stronger.

When I went out on deck, I was practically suffocated by the crushing hugs of my crew members.

"Alright everybody, give him some space." Reyna ordered, and of course, the pirates listened to her.

They demanded that I tell them what had happened, and I retold the story. When they heard about Nico and Calypso's part in the plan, some of them scowled.

They hadn't trusted those two as it was, and now they'd learnt that they played a role in their captain's death.

"Ok, back to work, we have to get this ship moving!" Beckendorf ordered before pirates could start asking me questions, which I was grateful for.

Annabeth slipped her hand into mine, and I held it tight.

She was back. My plan had been worth it.

She grinned up at me, like she couldn't believe I was still here.

I couldn't believe it either.

I had died, and it had dawned on me that those women were Mom and Atalanta. Two beautiful people who died because of me.

Annabeth leaned up on her toes and gave a small kiss. "Percy, what's wrong?"

I shook my head and kissed her again, my arms wrapping around her waist.

She put her hands behind my neck and pulled me down closer, deepening the kiss.

When Annabeth pulled away, her cheeks were flushed.

Looking at her, I knew that even if I had recognised Mom and Atalanta, I wouldnt have stayed with them. I loved Annabeth too much to leave her.

And staring into her eyes, I knew I had made the right choice.

Completely obliviously to the people around us, Annabeth kissed me, and we were nothing but passion. Nothing mattered but Annabeth.

"Hang on," I said, reaching into my pocket. As I'd hoped, her locket was still there. "For you."

I slipped the locket around her neck, and she looked up at me in shock. "How did you get that?"

I shrugged, "Your mother gave it to me."

She raised an eyebrow. "Seaweed Brain, you broke into my house?"

"Maybe," I smirked, until I realised that I had to take her back to her parents. They would be worried sick.

Annabeth smiled. "Thank you Percy. For everything."

I kissed her forehead. "I love you, Annabeth."

"I love you too,"
