It was dark, but there was a small opening where light streamed through.
Mikey closed his eyes, trying to get away from the horror that was right in front of him.
There were bones piled high, some completely gleaming white, some with flesh still on them.
A body thumped in front of him, and he jerked in his chains, trying to avoid the blood splattering everywhere. It was to no avail.
Opening his eyes, he saw the corpse of a man whom they had brought in just a day earlier.
The man looked at him as he said his last words. "Help me..." He slumped, body curling up. His eyes didn't close.
They stared at Mikey, unseeing but still somehow full of blame.
Why didn't you save me?
Why didn't you help me?
He screamed, voice rough and throaty, full of raw emotion.
Mikey jerked on the chains that held him down.
His arms were chained to the ground and to a bar on the wall ten feet away. They were too tight. His wrists were padlocked together in a shining metal case.
His legs were chained likewise, except attached with heavy metal blocks, each weighing at least a hundred pounds. With four on each leg, there was no way out.
"Let me out!" He screamed.
"Wouldn't you like to be?" A voice came from the shadows.
Shredder stepped into the few beams of light there were in the dark chamber.
His shining metal armor was stained with red. It was fresh.
Mikey turned his head away, sickened.
Tears pooled in his eyes.
When would this end?

As they raced into the building, they were attacked by Kraang bots, each possessing a phaser blaster.
"Cover me!" Donnie yelled to his brothers, who immediately set up a formation around him.
Splinter and Astrid took up similar positions next to them.
Donnie slid into a small pocket of protected space, and quickly attached the cord from his T-Phone into a small computer that controlled the building's environmental settings.
"Come on, come on...yeah baby!" He shouted.
Information flooded his screen. His skimmed over it, searching for some reference of a turtle.
Information on all the brothers came up, along with pictures of everyone they associated with.
April, Casey, even the pizza delivery guy.
Donnie went pale.
"Oh no." He whispered.
Then he saw what he had been looking for.
Name/Alias: Michelangelo "Mikey" Hamato
Species: Originally Red Eared Slider Turtle, Now Giant Mutant Turtle
Age: 16
Personality: Docile, although dangerous when threatened. Most acrobatic of all turtles. Seems to have natural affinity for martial arts. Unpredictable.
Weak Points: Empathy for others, kindness towards weaklings, and love for family.
Must be taken down.

Mikey tried to wet his mouth. He couldn't. It was too long since he'd had any water.
He tried to ignore the stench of death that was prevalent in the place. He tried to ignore the pain in his body. He tried to remember why he was still fighting to live.
He remembered.
His family.
He made a promise.
'Mikey was sleeping when the message came.
His phone beeped.
Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he reached for it, wondering who would be texting him so early in the morning.
When he read the text, all traces of sleep were gone.
"We know where you live. Give yourself up and your family will be safe.
-Shredder."
Immediately he texted back, cursing his hands which weren't quite up to speed with the rest of his body.
"Who is this?"
Instantly he got a reply.
"This is Shredder."
He texted back, thinking about how cliche this all was.
"Prove it."
A video was sent. He clicked play, hands shaking.
He saw Splinter meditating quietly, Astrid asleep in the room next to him, Raph muttering about punching things, Leo having a nightmare, and Donnie kissing his pillow and sighing, "April".
His head dropped.
"We will eradicate you all, unless you give yourself up. We will come for you at this time tomorrow night."
He typed in, slowly, "All right."
No answer.
He started to sob quietly, shoulders shaking.
So, I know I haven't updated lately. I'm sorry about that. I had a holiday (being Jewish means we get a lot of holidays this time of year), and someone in my community just died, so we were helping them out, helping them grieve. It's pretty sad, actually. So, this isn't my best work, and I'm sorry about that, but I hope you'll enjoy it nonetheless. This week might be spotty at best, because we'll be helping them out for the next couple of days, but I promise I'm not abandoning you guys! A review would be great. Thanks to all of you for giving me 50 reviews! It really makes me feel special. Almost as special as all of you are!
