Call me a sadist if you'd like. Here is more. Although only a tiny bit, I'm currently otherwise occupied. This will get larger and more frequent updates soon.

Blinking, Helga slowly awoke from her stupor.
Arnold had saved her.
Arnold had saved her!
ARNOLD HA-
...Where was Arnold?
On her feet in a flash, the blonde girl's icy blue eyes scanned the drenched deck. She stumbled forward to the rail in mad desperation, her already pale skin whitening as her fists clenched the metal bar in distress. "ARNOLD!" She screeched, her voice mostly masked by the loud thunder and winds, "ARNOLD!" Looking out into the rough sea, Helga saw no trace of the boy.
He was gone.
Losing all strength, the blonde collapsed onto the deck. She could hear voices behind her, heavy thudding footsteps growing closer.
It didn't matter.
Even as she felt herself being picked up and carried away, only one thought circled through Helga's head:
she had killed Arnold.
Lila's warm brown eyes watched Helga carefully, studying the slack shoulders, blank look on her face, and the lack of vivacious energy pouring from her very soul. The dancing blue fire was gone.
Something was wrong.
At her side in a second, the southern belle clasped the blonde's soaked shoulder, shaking lightly in a desperate and ill-found attempt to get her to reignite. What Lila wouldn't do for a rough shove and a callous 'shove off toots'... Biting her lip, the redhead looked around for the one person she knew could solve the problem, the only person, much to her dismay, who could truly reach Helga. But he was nowhere to be seen.
Intended for herself, Lila quietly mumbled, "where's Arnold?"
At the sound of a sharp intake of breath, the redhead whirled around and found Helga's hollow blue eyes upon her. She looked so defeated. "A-Arnold… He-he's…" the blonde sucked in a breath, "dead."
Lila couldn't move, couldn't think. For a moment she existed outside of time and space, watching as two small girls silently cried on a violently rocking boat, barely able to keep their footing as tears streaked down their blotchy red faces. Then she popped back in, took control of her muscles and her mind a she dove onto her companion for a hug. The redhead felt the blonde slump into her, her breaths coming out in short, sharp and water hics. Holding Helga tighter, the southern belle furrowed her brow.
While she had wanted Arnold gone - at least to back off Helga - Lila certainly hadn't wanted this.
