The Unfinished Notes of Chapter Eight
I just wanted to say to everybody that I am sorry, but this story has been abandoned and there is no intention for me in finishing it. I started writing this story when I was working in a different division of my job but I grabbed a promotion and I just simply do not have the time to write anymore. I can, however, give you my notes from how/where I planned on taking this story:
- Natasha, after falling through the portal, wakes up at the train station and meets Dumbledore. He explains to her that via her sacrifice she's cleared the debts of both herself and Harry (her sacrifice being the key). Destiny/Fate/The Universe [Dumbledore not being sure] as repayment for allowing Death to trick them offers Natasha a choice: continue on to the afterlife, job complete, OR return to Earth with the caveat being that she must pick up Death's mantle instead.
- Back on Earth, Harry is locked in a fight with a weakening Death - obviously the universe is trying to self correct. Logan is observing, not getting involved except to act as a fail safe in case Harry fails. The Dome has crashed around the area with Voldemort's demise. Death gets a lucky shot in on Harry as he's trying to protect the Avengers when Death pulls up short. She starts to spasm and then explodes into a barrage of colors. Harry feels his connection as the "master of Death" leave. When the colors fade, Natasha is standing where Death is, before fainting.
- After recovering everybody - and Natasha - they return to the Helicarrier for a debriefing. Harry explains to Fury what happened from his end (the entire truth). He relates how he no longer feels "plugged into Death." He lets Fury know that "if possible, I would like to take some time away to mourn the lose of my entire world." Fury doesn't want to let him go ("You're the most dangerous being on the planet."), but he is interrupted by Natasha who snaps her fingers and shuts up Fury.
- Natasha relates that both her and Harry are going to be taking some time away, and it would be lovely if they left the pair of them alone. "Not that you would be able to find us anyway." She grabs Harry around the waist and the pair "pop" away, back down to Earth.
- "You want to explain what's going on?" Harry "I made a deal with destiny." Natasha "You're Death now, aren't you?" Harry "In a sense, but not quite." "Care to explain?" "Not really, no, not right now." "Have you ever seen Paris?" "Yes, but not with you."
And that would be the end. Sorry for leaving it hanging there, but like I said, I literally do not have the time to write anymore with my job. Let me know if you have any questions, I have no issue answering any of them.
Thanks for reading!
