"Hello? Pit? Hello?!" Red was pretty much yelling but it didn't catch Pit's attention.
Did I do something bad again?! Red worried.
He stopped pushing and looked at Pit and he was crying.
"AAGH! I DID!" Red screamed as he realized he failed.
"Eh?!" Pit came back to earth when he heard Red scream behind him.
"R-Red?! Why are you screaming?!" Pit turned to face Red.
"Why aren't you telling me anything?! When I ask you you just end up crying!" Red threw his arms up in the air but quickly realized what he just said and quickly covered his mouth with his hands.
"S-Sorry..." Red murmured.
Pit bit his lip before talking again.
"D-Don't worry about it!" Pit forced a smile on, "Come on, Peach probably made dinner already!"
Pit got off the swing and walked ahead and back to the mansion. Red ran to catch up with Pit.
The walk back to the mansion was awkward.
"Pit..." Red ran to catch up with Pit.
"M-hm?" Pit asked.
"If... if your having trouble please tell me, okay? That's what friends are for, you know..." Red scratched the back of his head. He didn't turned his head but looked towards Pit.
"..." he seemed surprised at first but soon smiled, "Eh... I see..."
Red smiled too and the walk back wasn't as awkward, but, they didn't stop.
"I could have helped you you know!" Red yelled once they got back to the mansion and were standing at the entrance.
"I told you I was fine..." Pit murmured.
"'Fine'?! They punched you in the face, and you just took it!"
"I couldn't help it if they ambushed us-"
"Sure they ambushed you but then they started teasing you and you just walked away dragging me with you!"
"Just let them be-"
"'JUST LET THEM BE'?! They need to be taught a lesson or two! Let me help you!"
"I'm fine-"
"YOU'RE NOT FINE! EVEN YOUR CONSCIOUS OF THE FACT ABOUT IT! YOU JUST WON'T ADMIT IT!" Red screamed at the top of his lungs.
"I told you I'm fine! Just leave me alone!" Pit ran off towards the stairs and his heavy footsteps could be heard from the first floor even though he was a few floors up.
"..." Red just didn't have the energy to catch up with him or yell anymore.
There's only so much a heart could take before it cracks.
