I'm not even going to give an excuse this time…. So here's the last chapter!

Cory's POV

"I'm going to go sit with Maya." Shawn said standing up from our table and walking over to where Maya and Riley were.

"Oh yeah, nothings changed." He ignored me and walked away. "Alright Shawn wants to be with a girl, two can play that game. First stop, research." I walked over to where Minkus was sitting and plopped down next to him. "Minkus! Lets talk perky."

Riley's POV

Maya and I sat down at a table and started to eat. We hadn't really talked much since last night. I really wanted to know what she was hiding from me. It's been bugging me all day. Just then, Shawn sat down in front of us.

"Hey Riley, Maya." Even though he said both our names in greeting, he was really only paying attention to Maya. Typical.

"Shawn." I said in return. Maya just looked down at her green beans.

"So Maya, I was thinking… well… you wanna come over to my place and work on homework tonight?" Shawn asked with his flirtatious look.

"Sorry, I can't I have… things to do." She stood up and walked away.

"Well that was weird." I said to Shawn.

"Yeah… what did I do wrong?"

"Topanga!" I heard Cory yell. Shawn didn't though as he was still trying to figure out what he did wrong. I pushed my worries for Maya aside for a second and stood up, mumbling something about being right back, and walked closer to them.

"Yes, Cory?" she said back to him.

"So, what's interesting in your life right now?"

"Well, Mercury is in retrograde making projects difficult to complete and causing general chaos in the universe." My mom was one weird chick. Haha, I just called her a chick.

"You know, not only is that unbelievably interesting, it reminds me of a joke I once heard. How did the astrologer cross the road?"

"I don't know."

"In his Taurus!" he exclaimed excitedly. Topanga just stared at him. "But I kid the zodiac. Um… would you like to go to Bob Stoopchecks Burger World after school?" Yes! He just asked her out on their first date!

"Cory, I'm a vegetarian." What? No she's not. At least not anymore.

"Oh course you are, that's why we're just gonna meet at Burger World and… walk over to International House of Salads."

"I love IHOS!"

"Who doesn't?"

Then they started talking about the sprout of the day. Yum. Did you catch my sarcasm?

"So I'll just meet you at 4:30." Cory said as I tuned back in.

"Okay, it's a date." Topanga said and then turned around to leave. I looked over at Cory as he watched her leave.

"A date? Who said anything about a date? What've I done?" Oh no. Here we go.

"So Cory and Topanga ended up not actually going on a date and just stayed home and talked. I said to Maya as we got ready for bed.

"Sounds like a date to me." said Maya as she plopped onto my bed. I giggled.

"Now spill. I want to know everything and I want to know now." I said seriously.

"About what, Riles?"

"About last night, about lunch, about how you've been acting weird all day. I want to know."

She sighed. "Ok… I wasn't going to tell you… your going to freak out."

"Just get to the point!" I said getting anxious.

"Okay okay! Chill. I…sorta…kinda…might…like Shawn."

I gasped. "Maya! You can't! He's like 20 years older then you!"

"I know! And that's why I didn't want to tell you! Your going to freak out for no reason."

"No reason?! Maya! You can't like Shawn!" I paused for a second. "Okay I've put up with this for long enough. I want to go home!" I said close to tears. "I miss everyone! I know, this is a once in a life time experience but… I don't care. I miss my family. I miss Farkle. I miss Lucas. I even miss Ava and I don't even see her that much!"

"I know Honey." Maya said reaching over to hug me. just then there was a knock on the door. Maya got up to see who it was.

"Lucas?" I heard her say from the door. I got up and walked over.

"You need to wake up." Lucas said from the door. He looked sad.

"Yeah, come on Riley, wake up." Farkle appeared next to Lucas. He also looked sad.

"What?" I was so confused. How were Farkle and Lucas here? And why were they telling me to wake up. My eyes started to feel heavy and I turned to see Maya walking over to her bed. "Maya what is happening?" was the last thing I said before everything went black. A second later I was conscience again. I heard a beeping and felt pain in my arm and leg. I groaned and forced my eyes open. Right in front of me was my dad and my mom. My real dad and mom.

"Oh Riley!" my mom exclaimed with tears pouring from her eyes. Farkle and Lucas ran over and smiled.

"Your awake!" Farkle yelled.

"I'll go get the nurse." Said Lucas.

"What happened?" I asked them.

"Really?"

"Yeah. You and Maya have been unconscious for 3 days."

My head fell back onto the pillow. My brain hurt. How could it only be 3 days? We were in 1993 for at least a week. I think. Oh I don't remember now! Lucas and the nurse came back in and the nurse pushed my parent away (not in a mean way) and started to run some tests on me. A few minuets later she declared that I could go home the next day. My arm was broken and I had a humongous bruise on my leg but I would be fine. Maya woke up about an hour later. The nurse did the same tests for her and said she could leave whenever. None of her bones were broken but she was scraped up badly. She had an infection on her hand but she was given meds to take home. Her mother showed up shortly after she woke up and was crying the whole time. Later that night when everyone was forced to go home Maya and I had a conversation.

"I can't believe we've only been out for 3 days." She said.

"I can't believe that was only a dream."

"Well, we're fine now."

"Yeah, I can't wait to get home." She laughed.

"Me to Riles, me to."
