chapter 16: Raphael's struggle
The curse's power over Raph was indeed unbearable. Raph knew that he had made a deal with Leo, but this was not what he was expecting. Leo was taking complete advantage of his new found power over Raphael. Raph did not know how much more he could take. Leo was becoming a total slave driver. Raph, at that moment, was massaging Leo's feet.
"Wow, Raph. You're really good at this. Almost as good as I was."
"Well, don't get used to it. You only have 10 more days of this."
"What's with the attitude, Raph? You are the one who sealed your fate."
"That may be so, but i never realized that you would show your dark side."
"Well, this is exactly what you did to me. I am simply returning the favor."
"I know. You're right. I am getting what i deserve. I never realized that this curse really does make you feel like a total puppet."
"Well, now you know how I felt when I had the curse. It's sheer torture, not being able to have the free will to do as you please. From the very beginning, I wanted nothing more than to be free from the curse's power. I tried to fight it, for a time. But even when i tried to fight it, I felt nothing but terrible pain. Believe me Raph. The pain is not worth it."
"I never knew how you felt. Every time that you would fight it, I could clearly see the pain you were in, but I simply didn't care at the time. Your pain was my joy. I hate myself for ever treating you that way. You were my own brother, and instead of helping you, I treated you like nothing more than property. A puppet that had to obey the puppet master's commands. I deserve no better from you. This is my punishment. You may do as you wish till the 10 days are over."
"Glad you see it my way, Raph. I am going to show you just how much of a burden this curse really is."
I only hope Leo doesn't go to hard on me...
