Chapter 6: Onii-san
Angelic: Hello and wwwwwwwwwweeeeeelcome back to another chapter! Lets get started, shall we?
Miranda: Ummm... Hi.
Angelic: *Stares* MIRANDA?!
Miranda: *jumps violently* Y-Y-YES?!
Angelic: ... Nothing...
Miranda: 0.0

Things to note before you read this chapter:
Italics is character thoughts. (Also sound effects near the end of the chapter)
Bold is Neah talking.
And as you may have guessed nothing at all is normal.
"Oi shounen!"(1)
"Hm?" Allen said and blinked himself out of his daydream.
"Are you paying attention?"
"...Maybe."
Tyki sighed and smoothed down his sleek hair. "You need to listen if you want to fully harness your dark matter abilities."
Allen pouted and crossed his arms. "I was just thinking about... stuff."
"Would that 'stuff' happen to be Road?"
Allen blushed violently. "N-No!" He said loudly and fiddled with the hem of his shirt awkwardly. Shaking his head Tyki relaxed into a fighting stance.
"Let's go again."
Allen's face of denial change into one of determination. He also took up a fighting stance.
"Start."
Running forwards swiftly and without hesitation Allen aimed to kick his companions shins, but was blocked by a strong wrist. Bouncing back from the defense he circled the older Noah, searching for an opening. When one appeared he jumped high into the air above the unsuspecting Noah's head and kicked down at full speed. Catching on at the last moment Tyki stepped sideways dodging the attack just in time.
'Use your dark matter ability.'
Allen sighed internally 'I've been trying Neah, It just isn't working.'
"You're not trying hard enough. Focus clearly on what you need and picture it in your mind, then hum the note."
'You're rather talkative today.'
"Just get on with it."
'Alright, Alright. One last try.'
Tyki, who had been dodging numerous attacks paused to rest. Looking over at Allen he was pleased to see that the boy had entered a relaxed state. Although it did look like some heavy concentration was happening. As Tyki opened his mouth to say something it was blocked. Allen took a breath and hummed a single C note. It first it seemed as though nothing had happened, and Tyki smirked, preparing to send his own wave of attacks at the teen. He'd only taken a step forward when the ground around him began to tremble.
"What the-"
Thick vine like branches suddenly rose up from the soil and towered above him. They leered down on him and then rushed down as if about to impale him before stopping just above his head. The Noah let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in as he wiped sweat from his forehead.
"I did it!"
Allen was overjoyed. He had finally managed to make some progress. He looked over at Tyki and laughed at his predicament.
"Okay! Very funny! Now remove the vines!" Called Tyki. Still chuckling slightly Allen walked up to the wall of plant.
"Can't you just use your Noah power to go through them?"
"Do you think I would still be in here if I hadn't tried that already?"
Allen stopped laughing, puzzled.
'The vines nullify dark matter?'
He asked Neah, in deep thought.
'Apparently so.'
Annoyed that Neah wasn't telling him more he stepped back and breathed heavily once again.
"Okay Tyki, I'll try to get you out."
"You better get me out."
Smiling slightly at the threat Allen concentrated fully on the vines, he felt power seeping through his arms as he hummed a note. This time a G. It was slow at first but eventually all of the vines shrunk back into the ground to reveal a very unamused Tyki.
"Thought you'd get one over on me huh?"
Allen didn't like the look in Tyki's eye.
The older Noah leapt forward, tackling Allen to the ground. His hands latched firmly onto the young boys sides as he pressed down on either side of his ribcage. Breaking out into fits of laughter Allen struggled on the ground gasping for breath. "Sto-op!" He shouted between laughing. Tyki was smirking.
"I give in!" He yelped in defeat.
Tyki let up at that moment, leaving Allen trying to regain his natural breathing. He looked up at the glow of the afternoon sun shrinking below the horizon and straightened himself out.
"Time to go back to the Ark shounen, it's almost nightfall."
"Okay Tyki-pon." Said Allen as he pulled himself of the ground. "Dont call me that." replied the irritated Noah. Allen pondered over something for a second and then said "So... Can I call you... Onii-san?(2)"
Tyki stopped for a moment and stared at the boy, who was suddenly very fidgety. "It was just an idea." Muttered Allen, avoiding eye-contact. He was surprised when he was suddenly lifted into the air by the waist.
"Put me down!"
Tyki just smiled up at him.
"Yeah okay."
Allen's eyebrows furrowed in frustration. "Huh?"
"You can call me Onii-san."
Blinking, Allen opened his mouth to say something then closed it again. Taking one look at his blank face Tyki dissolved into silent laughter. He set the boy back on the ground and ruffled his hair lightly. "But only if I can call you Otouto."(3) Allen pouted under his fringe. "Fine."
Still laughing Tyki led Allen back to the Ark to get some well deserved rest.
Kanda lifted his eyelids groggily and a bright beam of lamplight invaded his eyesight, causing him to blink rapidly. Reaching up he knocked the lamp away from his face, it wobbled and toppled off the side table. Kanda heard it hit the floor with a dull thud as he looked up at the ceiling. This wasn't anywhere he recognised.
"Lyon! One's awake!"
Kanda jumped at the woman's sudden voice from the doorway. He tried to get up in his panic before he was pushed back down onto the bed sheets.
"You'll get a headache, so stay laying down."
Above him was the face of a young woman in her early twenties. Her fiery red hair draped across her shoulders and her sharp blue eyes pierced his vision. Freckles danced across her cheeks and she seemed to be breathing slightly heavily. Footsteps could be heard on the stairs as another person entered the room.
"Rose, are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine." The woman named Rose replied. Kanda just stared at the pair in utter confusion. "Will you promise not to get up if I let go?" Rose questioned in a firm voice. Nodding silently his shoulders were released.
The events of last night suddenly flashed across his memory. "Lavi." he muttered and tried to sit up again, before his head hit the pillow as the man this time restrained him. "Get off me!" Snarled the exorcist. "Calm down there mate." Said the man in a slight accent. "Your friend is fine, he was bleeding quite badly but we've patched him up." Kanda relaxed slightly against the man's hold. "Who are you? Where am I?" Chuckling the man gave him a large smile.
"My name is Lyon and this is me wife Rose. We're in our house on the outskirts of town."
"How did you find us?"
"I go to work at a bakers in the town, you can imagine the shock I got when the local Inn next door started to fall apart right before me eyes. There weren't many people around so I guess they must've evacuated or somethin' but there was definitely shoutin' on the top floor. I dunno what came over me but I rounded up a couple o' brave workers and raced inside the building to find you and the other fella just laying there. So I picked you guys up and brought you back here, you see me wife is a trained nurse and there isn't a hospital nearby. But I'm glad to be seeing that you're okay."
Kanda tried to process the small speech the man had just delivered, that would explain what he had heard in the Inn before he had passed out. "Did you prehaps... see another person exit the building? A Girl?" Lyon looked confused. "I can't think that I did, what'd she look like?" Kanda stretched his arms out above him. "Dark green hair, violet eyes and... missing an arm." He heard Rose gasp softly from where she had moved over to check Lavi's bandages. "We got in a bit of a fight... And I'm not proud of what I did." Finished Kanda glumly. "No, sorry mate. I didn't see anyone like that, she must've been pretty fast." Replied Lyon.
The three were brought out of their conversation when Lavi coughed slightly and began to wake. Kanda twisted his head so quickly to the side his neck clicked painfully. The redhead made a small noise of discomfort and slowly his green eyes began to open, something seemed different about them. The bright emerald tint had somehow been dyed a much darker green, as though they were lifeless orbs.
"How are you feeling?" Rose questioned the redhead, breaking the silence that had formed in the room. The redhead didn't respond but instead twisted his head to face Kanda. The two stared at each other for a while. "She really did a number on us huh?" Lavi said with a hoarse voice as he grinned slightly. "Mostly on you though." Replied Kanda, whose lips also turned upwards slightly at the edges. Rose watched over the two with a bemused look as Lyon just chuckled and started to leave. "C'mon rose, let's leave these two to catch up. Dont you dare move about just yet young man!" He said playfully to Lavi as the redhead showed signs of sitting up. Pouting slightly the redhead settled back into the bed, trying to ignore Kanda smug look from across the room.
The wind howled loudly as the figure stumbled up the Black Order.
Being accepted by the gatekeeper they trudged inside its walls, Hair still messy from the raging wind storm outside.
Komui stopped and smiled as he noticed the person that had entered.
"Oh you're back! Welcom-"
Blood dripped steadily onto the carpet.
Kanda gripped the files in his hand tightly as his eyes widened, his smile vanished from his pale face.
Drip, Drip, Drip
Seeping across the threads of the rug, staining them red.
"Lee-nalee?"
Half lidded violet eyes looked into his own.
"Onii-san.."
Then the figure crumpled like paper onto the floor.
Allen: *Le gasp* Another cliffhanger it seems.
Angelic: Allen! Remember why I'm paying you! Stop commenting and get on with the feedback! *Dissapears*
Allen: She doesn't pay me... anyway I suppose I should read some of these reviews from the previous chapter!
*Envelope Falls and Allen Catches*
Allen: Right, this is from BlackAndWhiteRoseWolf.
Well that escalated quickly! Lanalee's a psycho b**t* and should die! Lavi ain't hurt her he was knocking sense into that idiot! She didn't need to do that! And poor Kanda, seeing one of his best friends hurt and his crush leaving, rough stuff! I swear the Noah's need to kill that girl! Please update soon!

*gapes* *flails* ONE SIDED YULLEN. WITH ALLEN X ROAD AS THE REAL PAIRING. *dies in corner* Yullen... hahhaha im a yullen shipper, but Im really enjoying the story so far and as much as i dont like lenalee, i think you shoud just dwell more in her thoughts to make her actions seem more plausible? Maybe? And in this chapter. I FELT LIKE CRYING BECAUSE KANDA LOVES ALLNE BUT ALLEN DOESNT LOVE HIM BACK. HUHUHUHUHU. WAHHH

I do feel kinda bad Lenalee got her arm sliced off, but seriously, she had it coming trying to kill poor Lavi like that. So did she finally go off the deep end?
Anyways, awesome chappie, can't wait to see what happens next, and komui's reaction when he sees his precious Lenalee missing an arm and bleeding all over the floor... ;)
