Chapter 7 - The Adventures Of Yuu and The Baka Usagi
Angelic: Here we are again, and this time im actually going to continue a scene in this chapter instead of switching in every chapter.
Kanda: Hn.
Angelic: You were very OOC in the last chapter.
Kanda: Your fault.
Angelic: *Sighs* Well it would be nice if you were a bit more emotional...
Kanda: *Glare*
Angelic: *gulps* Scary Kanda is good too!
I do NOT own D Gray Man. I apologize for any Kanda OOCness!
"Lena-lee?" Whispered Komui as he watched his sister stumble and fall. "Lenalee!" He called out to her as he hastened to her side. "Lenalee!" He shouted to her in alarm, but it fell on deaf ears. He then noticed the lack of her arm and resisted the bile that rose on his throat. His little sister had lost so much blood that her breathing was becoming ragged. Panicking and at the same time trying to remain calm he lifted the girl into his arms and ran towards the door.
Tears fell from his eyes at an alarming rate. Lenalee was going to die if she didn't receive medical attention soon.
He couldn't bear to think about loosing her.
One Week Later at Lyon and Rose's house...
Lavi pushed himself up from the bed sheets and swung his legs over the side of his bed. It had been a week of nothing but rest and he wasn't planning on sitting around any longer. Kanda walked in at that moment, and without saying anything went and grabbed his Mugen that leant against the wall, securing at once again to his belt where it felt most comfortable. Lavi watched him in amusement, It seemed Kanda had returned back to his indifferent state. Maybe it had been a phase. The red-haired exorcist sighed, he wouldn't have minded a more emotional Kanda now and again. It made normal conversations less life threatening. Then again, this was Kanda he was talking about.
"You two are quite lively today."
Lavi inclined his head to see Lyon appear at the doorway. He didn't look as joyful as he usually did and slight bags were forming under his eyes, but from the fake smile he had plastered on his face Lavi knew he didn't want his two house guests to worry. Lavi decided to play along as he secured his bandana around his head and stood up, feeling much stronger.
"We wont need to stay here much longer Lyon, thankyou for helping us."
Lyon shook his head. "I only carried you to the house, You should be thankin' Rose more than meself, she was the one who fixed you two righ' up."
"That reminds me, where is Rose?" Asked Lavi with genuine curiosity. "I haven't seen her all day." Lyon smile seemed to slide from his face instantly. His gaze lowered to the floor. "She went to visit her ...mother, she goes for the day to spend time with her. Every Sunday."
Something about the way Lyon had explained her absence seemed slightly off to Lavi.
"Could I ask you two a favour?" Questioned Lyon, as if no one had asked about Rose in the first place.
"Sure, we owe you anyway, what is it?"
"Could you prehaps pick me up something from town, it's a package that I need to collect. It will give you some fresh air, okay?"
Lavi nodded and gave the man a reassuring smile. "Of Course."
The two exorcists left a while later and ventured out towards the town. There was no conversation between them, but the silence was comfortable. Like the silence that occurred between two good friends, that sometimes didn't need words to arrived at the town in the late afternoon.
"C'mon Yuu! Let's go to the shop!" Said an excited Lavi, bouncing slightly on his heels.
"Dont call me that! Baka Usagi!" Kanda was always fun to annoy.
It had been a while since Lavi had laughed out loud. He realised how much he missed it. His eyes then found the shop that Lyon had mentioned and he smiled again, however before he could even take one step towards the shop he was stopped by a hand grabbing his upper arm. He looked back over his shoulder.
"Yuu?"
The redhead turned to see that his companion was staring at something to the right. Also directing his gaze that way he drew a blank.
Kanda was staring at a cemetery?
"What is it Yuu? It's just a cemetery." Kanda then began walking towards it, letting out a noise of exasperation Lavi followed his companion.
There was nothing unusual about the cemetery. There were the graves neatly in their rows, each displaying a name and a date per usual. It was empty apart from a person who stood looking down on a gravestone that was worn and barely readable. Lavi instantly recognised them.
"Rose?" Said Lavi in surprise.
Said person looked up from the grave and noticed the two exorcists that stood there. "Oh.. Hello." She replied sadly. Lavi and Kanda joined her at the gravestone. "I thought you were visiting your mother?" Questioned Lavi absent-mindedly as he tried to make out the name on the headstone. Rose wrung her hands together "Yes. I was... I was um-"
"You were...?" Said Lavi as he reached out to feel the groves of the letters, maybe that way he would be able to read it. It hadn't even been a second before his hand was slapped way from the stone. "Rose?" Lavi turned to face her with curiosity. She looked angry. "Dont touch my grave!" She yelled.
There was a moment of silence. Rose clapped her hands over her mouth.
Kanda drew Mugen from its holster. "Who are you?" He asked the woman as he pointed the blade towards her heart. "You're not Rose. Who are you?" The woman backed away slowly.
" I-I - I just-"
She turned and ran away from them surprisingly fast, slipping across the grass. Kanda gave chase quickly, irritably sheathing Mugen, Lavi right behind him. They ran across the peaceful cemetery and out into the cobblestone street, Kanda quickened his pace, determined to not lose her. It was a rush to run this fast after so long cooped up inside a house. The long-haired exorcist realised that the woman ahead of him was slowing, she seemed to be getting tired and desperate. She ducked into an alleyway, and Kanda smirked, He had won. The woman then realised her mistake as she came to the red bricks of a tall wall that blocked her path.
A dead-end.
In her sudden panic and desperation not to be caught by the two exorcists, she opened up a portal and stepped through, hoping to get away from them. Eyes widening in surprise, Kanda and Lavi neared the portal and fell into the darkness after her just before it could close on them.
~~~Meanwhile in the Black Ark~~~
"ALLEN-KUN!" Called Road as she bounded into the dining room. Spying him from the doorway she launched herself into his arms.
Barely catching her Allen set her on his lap, a faint blush creeping onto his face.
Tyki smirked knowingly from across the table. He wasn't blind, he knew those two were an 'item' now.
"Allen-kun, where were you today? I was really bored!" whined Road. Allen smiled at the Noah girl and said. "I was out training with Tyki Onii-san again." Which was true, ever since the vines incident the two had been training together all week.
Allen had made progress at an alarming rate and was now much better at controlling the vines than before. He soon found out from his training that he had the ability to manipulate any living thing, whether it be human, animal or plant. He guessed the fact he could only control vines at the moment was his minds way of telling him he hadn't unlocked his full power yet.
"Look at you two! Getting along so well!" Exclaimed the Millenium Earl from his seat at the end, That wide grin that we all know and love ever-present on his face. "Now that we are all here I think its ti-"
"NOAH-SAMA!" There was a yell from outside, the Noah turned towards it in curiosity.
The doors then burst open and someone ran hurriedly into the room. Allen recognised her almost at once.
"Rose? What are you doing?"
Road turned to look at him. "Allen-kun? Isn't that the akuma you hired as your spy?" She questioned the white-haired boy. He met her gaze.
"Yeah, but I don't know what she's doing here. She's currently meant to be in the human world."
Rose looked panicked "Noah-sama! Help! There are-"
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" Someone shouted from behind the woman, whimpering she ran and hid behind Allen's chair. The young Noah sighed, he never understood why Rose was so cowardly sometimes as he had never met an akuma who would rather pass on a fight. Then remembering the person Rose was so scared about, he looked once again towards the door.
His eyes narrowed in anger.
Road stood from her current seat, a hateful expression etched onto her face.
Tyki brought an indigo striped tease out from his coat pocket, it fluttered madly in his gloved hand.
"What are you two doing here?" Allen said coldly, his fists clenching tightly under the table, almost hard enough to draw blood from his palms.
Kanda and Lavi stared back into his eyes.
"ALLEN!"
Chaoji: A cliffhanger! Daaa!
Krory: Indeed.
Chaoji: *Sweatdrop* Let's just read the feedback.
*Envelope falls and Chaoji catches*
Chaoji: This first one is from TOOLAZYTOLOGIN
MORE CHAPTERS PLEASE! MORE! AND FINALLY LENALEE WILL DIE! Maybe. BUT SHE WILL DIE EITHER WAY!
I was like all gasping at pretty much everything in the chapter. I seriously wish that Lenalee would just shut the f***ing up, listen to what Allen's gotta say and stop jumping to conclusions! F***ING BITCH!
Make more chapters and in next chapter i want a little more allen x road. Not too much because that'd be too fast
Krory: What a passionate review. Thankyou for writing this. Don't worry, I want to see more AllenxRoad also! I shall make sure it will happen! *wipes tear*
Chaoji: I think you're the passionate one here Krory...
Krory: Yes, maybe. *Catches next envelope* This is from BlackRose2358
I'm a big roadxallen shipper and can't wait for them to actually show that they are together. I have taken lenalees feelings into consideration and concluded that she has gone of the deep end and should die. One of your chapters should be about Allen's birthday because I've never seen a chapter on that and I think it would definitely fit
Chaoji: Thanks for your review. A birthday chapter... the authors never thought about one of those before... I THINK ITS A GREAT IDEA! KRORY! LETS GO AND TELL HER!
Krory: But Chaoji, There's still one more envelope.
Chaoji: Oh, Okay I'll get it. *catches envelope* It's from Indigo-Jay.
XD Allen calling Tikki "Onii-san" was just so cute! I always imagined Tikki and Allen to have a brotherly relationship, it fits them so perfectly. Almost as adorable as Allen x Road, which is the best cause those two could rule the world together. Lenalee might be secretly denying her feelings for Allen or something, this way it would be more painful for her to see him with Road. Anyway, please keep on updating.
Krory: An interesting idea. Thanks very much for your review.
Chaoji: Allen and that Noah girl, I suppose they so look kinda good together... n-not that i think the Noah are alright or anything!... Krory, let's just go and find the author and tell her about the feedback. *He runs off*
Krory:*Picks up the envelopes and sighs*... Eliade...
