Hunting to Moon

Could it be? Is it true?

Why YES – this IS an update for my SM/SN crossover!

I am so sorry that is has not been updated in so long. To be honest… I had forgotten that I hadn't completed it! For that, I cannot apologize enough. So, as a Christmas gift to you, I grant you the long-awaited chapter 10! I hope you can all forgive me. Thank you all so much for your support!

Chapter 10: That's a Wrap!

"Chaos," Sailor Cosmos' voice rang out clear as a bell. "Prepare to be Moon Dusted!"

Not lost on the irony, but all hell broke loose at the silver goddess' declaration. The Sailor team worked together like a well oiled machine, moving like they hadn't spent any time apart. As the demons charged forward they sprang forth in a row, protectively separating their princess from the oncoming surge as she prepared her attack.

Dean's gun let out booming echoes as he shot off rounds as quickly as he could. He stayed by his girlfriend's side, watching her back as he did his best to do his part in the battle. The light show from the planetary attack of the Sailor's was incredible, and he noticed his brother rush to his side. He and Venus had arrived with the others, and regrettably so had Dr. Chubby as he joined the fray with some kind of pathetic smoke attack.

"Dad would have loved this," Sam told him, letting off another shot.

"So would Bobby," the older sibling commented.

"We'll tell him all about it later." Sam agreed, blasting a demon that had been trying to sneak up on the silver-glowing form of Cosmos.

"Cosmic Blast!" The regal tone sprang forth as Dean and Sam covered their eyes. A ring of silver power expanded from her form, spreading out like an atomic bomb as it swept passed her guardians and dusted the demons.

Evil laughing could be heard as the attack dispersed, and all eyes turned to the child-form of Chaos. More demons appeared to distract the Sailor's as Cosmos took to the sky. Dean cursed as his girlfriend took off in a bee line for the enemy. "No!" He cried out desperately as he moved to follow.

Sam grabbed his brother's arm to keep him from charging forward. "Wait, Dean!" Sam cried out in warming, shooting another demon as it saw an opening to attack the humans.

"No, Sammy!" His brother argued as he let out a blast of ammo. "I'm never letting her leave my side again!"

"Mercury!" Mars called out. "Give us some cover!"

The blue haired woman didn't reply as fog surrounded the area, evening the odds for the Sailor's as Jupiter and Uranus appeared at the brother's sides. "She really makes our job difficult!" Mars huffed as she landed next to them.

"That's what I've been saying!" Venus exasperated.

"This way!" Pluto called out, clearing a path after letting out a blast of her powers. "She's taking on Chaos head-first!"

It was true. Cosmos had dived towards her nemesis from the sky, letting out a battle cry as she did. Her Cosmic staff was glowing silver as she swung; intercepting the sword that Chaos had slashed at her. This continued for several moments, blow for blow. Chaos was almost impressed. "My, my. You have come a long way, princess. You were so pathetic before, hardly wanting to lift a finger to attack me."

Cosmos grit her teeth together as her eyes flashed in anger. "I am not so naïve anymore, Chaos." She growled. "I won't let you destroy anything else I care about." The eight pointed star on her brow glowed fiercely before it let out a blast of power, causing Chaos to go flying back and give a screech of pain.

Sailor Cosmos stalked towards the boy of the child, poised and regal in her form as her staff glowed in her left hand. Her voice was cold, the sound of space echoing through her words as she passed her judgment. "I am Sailor Cosmos, Queen of the Stars and the Keeper of Balance." Raised the staff above her head, it glow getting brighter as the sounds of her friend's battling the demons around them continued. "I now pass judgment."

The Silver Crystal pulsed as the staff let out a powerful blow of pure light, blanketing the black-skinned form on its knees before her. An echo of sheer agony filled the area, causing everyone but Sailor Cosmos to cover their ears and cower. The silver haired goddess watched with merciless eyes as her silver light crept along the black skin of the demon before her, the glowing red eyes still poised on her own and filled with hatred, promising revenge. What felt like minutes passed in only moments, and all at once the light was gone, and silence filled the area. Demons, Hunters, and Sailors alike stood still, watching the winged form calmly standing over a pile of moon dust.

"That's it?" Dean's familiar voice spoke in disbelief.

He had spoken too soon; a black shadow began to rise from the pile, expanding as beady red eyes formed in its mist. The mist grew, the princess' guardians getting ready for an attack even as Sailor Cosmos stood calm. As the mist continued to stretch and begin to take on the form of a human, a deep male voice spoke from the dark mass. "This is not over, Cosmos. I will eventually have what I desire."

"Never." She replied. "It will never happen."

Dean felt a tingle go down his spine. The voice sounded awfully male, and quite frankly it had too much of a husky tone that he did not like being directed at his girlfriend. "What the fuck?" He whispered harshly.

"I will find a way to corrupt your light," it spoke. "We are two halves of a whole. You have always been and always will be mine." He added, a dark chuckle filling the air. "Then I will rule all."

Sailor Cosmos didn't reply, instead choosing to lift her staff once again. "To the Cauldron with you, Chaos. If I see or hear of you before a thousand years have passed, you will have a far worse fate."

Maniacal laughter filled the air as the black mass was encased in a glowing light just before it vanished.

The demons that had remained, upon seeing their leader defeated, quickly took their own retreat. It was not worth their lives.

"Does anyone else think that was too easy?" Sailor Jupiter asked in the silence.

"What was he talking about?" Sam wanted to know.

Sailor Saturn and Sailor Pluto shared a look. "The Balance." Sailor Saturn answered.

"He's gone now, defeated and destroyed." Dean spat, not at all happy about the second male trying to steal his girl in the same week.

"He cannot be destroyed." Sailor Saturn spoke again as their princess slowly turned to join them.

"As Serenity y is the embodiment of Light, making her Cosmos, so is Chaos the embodiment of darkness." Sailor Pluto explained.

"Yin and Yang," Sailor Mars whispered, catching on.

"He cannot be destroyed, only weakened and imprisoned." Sailor Neptune added, her gloved hand finding her wife's. "Just as before."

"There must always be darkness, for without it there is no Light." Sailor Cosmos explained.

"So he'll be back?" Sam questioned. "Why does he want you?"

"As Mars said, we are Yin and Yang." Cosmos answered. "This means that I am always aware of his presence, just as he is of mine. However, as the Keeper of Balance, I am the only one able to keep his darkness at bay."

"Which is why you're always trying to rush off head first to danger..." Uranus scowled.

"I told you, she makes my job really difficult!" Sailor Venus exasperated then gave a sigh. "Well, now that the battle is over, it's time to move on to the first order of business." With that, Sailor Venus threw herself at her boyfriend, who dropped his gun to catch her as the blonde leader of the Inner Senshi gave him one hell of a victory kiss.

Uranus and Neptune smiled at one another and gave a much more mild-mannered kiss to the other as well, and the rest of the Sailor's smiled around.

Dean wasted no time in marching up to Sailor Cosmos. "You weren't supposed to leave my side." He told her.

For her part, the goddess let out an innocent smile that was clearly fake. "I never agreed to that."

"I don't care, but you're going to agree to it now." Practically tossing his shot guns to the ground, he grabbed her hips and pulled her flush against him. "You're going to marry me."

Dark blue eyes popped wide open, but before she could reply he was assaulting her lips in a passionate kiss. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head as she slumped against his muscled body, her pale hands clutching his shirt as she moaned into the kiss. Sailor Jupiter and Mars let out whoops while Amy blushed at the scene before them, with Sailor Pluto casting a glance at the Prince of Earth. He was steaming mad at the display, but slowly let it go. It had been obvious before the battle that he would not be getting her back, but that didn't soften the blow of the truth in the sight before him. Knowing they wouldn't miss his presence, he slipped away to return to Boston.

Dean Winchester pulled back, smirking proudly at the dazed expression on his girlfriend's face. Slowly, she was able to catch her breath, which she didn't know she had held. "You could at least ask," she told him.

The older male smirked. "And give you a change to refuse? Hell no. Besides, you and I both already know the answer." He pressed his forehead to her own, looking down in to her swirling blue eyes. "So what do you say, my goddess? Do you want to spend your days Hunting demons while having the best sex of your life?"

Sailor Cosmos laughed. "Throw in a wicked nice house and a kid or two, and you have yourself a deal."

"Whatever you want, sweetheart." He told her right before he captured her lips again.

"I call Maid of Honor!" Venus cheered as Sam wiped a tear that had escaped his eye. He never thought he would see the day…

"What?" Sailor Mars challenged. "You can't just call it!"

"I can too!" Venus argued back with a gloved hand on her hip. "Besides, I'm her cousin and best friend."

"You're not her only best friend, blondie!" Mars snapped back.

"What if I wanted to be Maid of Honor?" Jupiter teased while crossing her arms.

"What about me?" The normally quiet Mercury spoke. "I would like the change to be Maid of Honor."

"Aaaaa-mi!" Venus cried sadly, very much like how she did at sixteen. "Not you too!"

"Can I be in the wedding?" Sailor Saturn asked, sounding very much like the pre-teen she was.

The Outer Senshi laughed as the Inners bickered. Sam walked over to his brother, who had finally ended the lip lock on his future sister. Giving them both a hug, he laughed. "Congratulations, you two." He told them.

Sailor Cosmos let go of her transformation, smiling brightly with a blush across her cheeks. "This doesn't change anything. I know we would love for you and Mina to stay with us."

"Yeah, dude. We're a family." He added. "We got those fabulous silver cards to make sure we can get one hell of a nice pad for all of us!"

"I'm in!" Venus added, bouncing over. "And I call Maid of Honor!"

"Mina!" The Inner's cried out as everyone let their transformations fade.

Dean slung his arm around Serenity's shoulder, who was busy smiling as she was surrounded by the people that she loved most.

"We have a lot to celebrate," Luna spoke and she and Artemis joined them.

"Then we had best get to it." Haruka smiled as she held her wife to her side. "Besides, I need to have a few words with our future king."

Serenity couldn't help her laughter at the look on Dean's face.

A month had passed since the battle with Chaos, and Serenity hadn't lost the feeling of floating on cloud nine. They had spent two days celebrating with all of the people she loved, catching up with her friends and making promises to better stay in touch… and finally settling the Maid of Honor situation. She ended up having to make both Minako and Rei her Maids of Honor, with having the rest of the girls as Bridesmaids. Well, Haruka would be a Bridesman, and Hotaru would be the flower girl. They weren't going to wait long; the wedding would be in a few months. Nothing big, but still fancy; the white wedding of her dreams on a small scale.

They had found a beautiful modern house on stretch of land in New York, just outside of the city so Mina could still do movies and modeling, but far enough away for their privacy. It was grander than anything the two Winchester boys were used to, let alone having a permanent residence. It was complete with two master suites and plenty of spare rooms, and they had converted the basement into a Hunter's dream armory, complete with a hidden door.

They still went out on Hunts, but now they had a base- a home. Of course, Mina and Sam were living with them, and they seemed to be getting pretty serious themselves.

Serenity looked up as Dean entered their room, dropping a box on the floor by their new bed. "Fuck, why did I buy so much stuff?"

The Lunarian giggled. "Because you have no control?"

Dean looked over at his fiancé, who had just finished putting away the bathroom products. "It's your fault for not giving me a spending limit."

Serenity smirked. "I could change that."

Dean looked horrified. "Don't!"

"What will do you to convince me?" She asked innocently as her eyes sparkled.

A wicked glint entered the older Winchester's eyes as he stalked towards the silver haired woman. "Oh, I turned you in a little nympho." He proudly bragged as he lifted her up by her waist to the bathroom counter.

As he stepped between her legs, Serenity wrapped them around his waist. Her hands went to his neck as she let her fingers play with his hair. "Well…" she teased.

Dean grabbed her ass, hoisting her up as he moved her across their room, dumping her on the bed. "Time to break this baby in!" He grinned as he moved to cover Serenity's laughing form.

They didn't pause at the knock on their door. "Dean?" Sam called out. "We wanted to know where you guys wanted to order dinner from."

"Not now, Sammy!' Dean cried out as he lifted Serenity's shirt over her head.

"Damn it, Dean." Sam huffed to himself on the other side of the door. "They will be at it for hours."

"We can beat that." Mina's bright voice said from his side, having snuck up on her boyfriend on the hall.

Sam turned to the blonde vision at his side. "Really now?" He smirked.

She gave him a wicked smile in reply, and winked. Turning around, she looked at the tall male with a proud smile. "I'm the goddess of love, after all. I'll be happy to prove it." Sam eagerly followed his girlfriend as she swayed down the hall to their room, not even bothering with a response.

Between hunting demons and finally finding happiness, the Winchester brother's never though such a life was possible. But here it was, real as could be.

Serenity was no longer alone, finding a partner who cherished her and could help protect the world with her. She was no longer alone. She was once more surrounded by love. It was her happily ever after.

Luna and Artemis gave a moan. "Those girls…" Luna sighed.

"Well," Artemis smiled at his wife. "It's not like we expected them to be teenagers forever."

"I know," the black feline admitted. "It's just so hard to watch them grow up…"

Artemis licked his wife's cheek. "Don't worry, Luna. I'm sure soon we'll have a new brood of Sailors to watch over."

Luna gave a nod. "We will." She gave a feline smile. "The future looks bright."

Her husband gave a smile in response. "It sure does."

The end!

Ok, so yes it's short and rushed, but I wanted this completed for you guys. I apologize again for not remembering I hadn't finished this… so… it's done now!

Thank you all for your wonderful support on this story and it's prequel. I think I may be doing a new story for SM/SN someday – never know!
