Chapter 2
News had spread around the school like wildfire in some cases the story had got so twisted that some people had actually heard Deidrick had killed someone. Many of the girls were now scared to death of him a few of them were in disbelief but were still scared enough to give him some distance. Of course when Twilight and the others woke up the next morning the searched frantically for the culprit that had twisted everything around but there were so many different versions of the story floating around it was impossible to figure where one started and another one ended.
The girls were reasonably upset but without getting the truth out of Spike there was no way to put an end to the rumors the had planned to ask Spike during Lunch but there was one problem.
"Seriously you're sick already" Deidrick teased Spike who was groaning in bed.
"Not my fault I always get sick at the beginning of the school year" Spike frowned.
"Yeah true you always made it the first day then got sick for like the next three days and had to spend the next week making up all the assignments" Deidrick shook his head.
"Ugh this sucks" Spike groaned.
"Yeah now you won't be able to see any pretty girls today" Deidrick laughed.
"And I'll get behind on my studies" Spike lamented.
"You're the only guy I know that could be surrounded by cute girls and still worry about school work" Deidrick chuckled, but Spike gave him a pleading look. "Fine I'll bring any assignments we get back so you won't get behind" Deidrick sighed.
"Thanks bro" Spike smiled.
"No problem somebody's gotta look out for you after all" Deidrick said getting up of the end of Spike's bed. "Since there's still some time before school I'll make you enough soup to get you through the day" Deidrick said heading downstairs to the Kitchen he grabbed everything he needed to make chicken noodle soup. After he was done with that and left the pot to simmer he went outside to check the wheatear and found two large boxes addressed to him and Spike. Figuring they were their school uniforms Deidrick slid Spikes in a corner and took his down to his room where he opened it up to find a week's worth of school and P.E uniforms. Wondering if they got his sizes right Deidrick decided to try on his uniform he stripped out of his sleeping shirt and pajama pants before putting on his new uniform it consisted of black dress pants with a white button down shirt black blazer, black dress shoes and a red tie. Deidrick smiled as he found the uniform fit perfectly, he turned to look at himself in the mirror and frowned he looked to proper for his taste so he unbuttoned his blazer loosened his tie and undid the top two buttons of the white button down. "Ah much better" Deidrick smirked stripping out of his uniform he laid it down neatly on his bed before going to shower. Once he'd showered, brushed his teeth, made his already messy hair messier and put on a fresh pair of boxers he changed back into his uniform. Now that he was dressed he went back upstairs, turned the stove off grabbed his bag and bike keys and headed out the door. He started his bike with a smile on his face as for the first time in a long time he actually looked forwards to going to school.
That thought was shattered as soon as he pulled in the parking lot, he didn't notice it much at first but as he walked into the school it became obvious to him that he was getting scared looks and glances from almost every girl he passed. None of them walked close to him giving him a wide area whenever he passed by conversations would stop and whispering would start and from the few words he overheard he knew there was only one reason everyone was acting like this…they'd found out about what happened his freshmen year. 'Well so much for having a fresh start' Deidrick thought bitterly to himself. Of course he could've tried to clear up the misunderstanding but he was sure that the story had already been twisted several times and even if he tried no one would believe him just like at his last high school, in the time span of a few hours he'd gone from the high schools top athlete to someone everyone was scared to even look at. Even friends he'd had since elementary school wouldn't talk to him the only one who stayed his friend through it all was Spike but Deidrick still ended up dropping off of every sports team he was on and eventually out of school…that's when he ended up getting home school for the last few months of freshman year and his entire sophomore year.
'Well at least it won't be so bad this time…at least this time I didn't have a chance to make any friends before I ended up losing them' Deidrick laughed ironically in his head. His mood had quickly become dark and a scowl attached itself to his face for the rest of the day. In his first period he sat in the back of the class not saying a word unless he was called on to answer a question in which case he would answer in a cold emotionless voice. Of course that only helped to fuel the rumors and when gym came he change quickly and leaned against the far wall until class started lucky for him it was just individual exercises so he was able to get his done quickly before he hit the showers with more than half of class left. Cooking class was more complicated as they had to be partnered up. Of course every single girl quickly partnered up with each other leaving him with a clueless slightly cross eyed girl named Derpy who didn't seem to have any idea why all the other girls where acting the way they were. Deidrick was thankful that she at least didn't scream or flinch whenever he accidentally touched her or asked for something though he still did so in his cold emotionless voice. All things considered things were going okay until Derpy set the mixer way to high and splattered cake batter all over Deidrick of course she quickly apologized and Deidrick managed to squeeze out an emotion less "don't worry about it" before leaving the class clean himself off. As he left he could hear the girls telling Derpy she was lucky he didn't kill her for what she did. 'Seriously it gotten to that point…I never killed anyone" Deidrick grumbled in his head. Since his next period was Lunch he asked if he could head home so he could change and get his uniform cleaned. He was allowed to and drove back as quickly as possible pulling into the drive way he quickly cut the engine before heading straight down to his room he locked the door leading down the stairs before grabbing his loudest headphones and stripping down to his boxers he threw on a pair of shorts and grabbed a pair of boxing gloves from his closet staying shirtless he blast rock music through his headphones as he started to beat the shit out of the heavy bag in the corner of his room.
He worked every combination of punches and kicks he could think of not stopping until a preset alarm blared warning him he had twenty minutes to get back to school. Deidrick turned off the alarm panting and dripping with sweat he realized he'd just did forty minutes straight of non-stop punches and kicks usually he would've been impressed with himself but not this time. He quickly showered and changed into a clean uniform before heading back upstairs. He checked on Spike seeing his sick friend was sleeping soundly with an empty bowel on the nightstand next to the bed made Deidrick smile a bit, but his scowl returned as soon as he walked out the door on his way back to the school he dropped his uniform off at the campus cleaners. The rest of the day was just as bad as the first half if not worse so he felt like it was a small blessing when the final bell rang signaling the end of the school day. He nearly ran to his bike and sped home where he finished the little bit of homework he had quickly before passing out on his bed.
The next two days were just as miserable for Deidrick Spike stayed sleep and only woke up to eat or finish the little homework Deidrick brought home for him. The few times when Spike was awake Deidrick always pretended school was going great since he didn't want Spike getting upset and angry at girls after just because he had to be miserable didn't mean Spike had to be. Deidrick usually spent his free time working out or playing around with his electric guitar. Other than that he just slept or watched T.V by the time Thursday night had rolled around he was actually thinking about calling his grandfather and requesting to get home schooled again. He was lying in bed unable to sleep his mind going back and forth between leaving and staying he was so conflicted he couldn't relax enough to get any sleep so he decided to go for a light night ride. He threw on a pair of Black cargo shorts and a white v neck and grabbed his keys. Since it was still summer the nights stayed warm and didn't even get chilled when riding late at night.
He drove off campus into the local neighborhood just rolling around at a leisurely pace after about half an hour he was planning on heading back home when he noticed Derpy was sitting down on a set of stairs with a large bag next to her rubbing her ankle. Thinking she might be hurt he pulled over completely forgetting the way the girls viewed him.
"Hey Derpy are you okay" Deidrick asked approaching her slowly since he wasn't in school his voice didn't have the cold emotionless edge he usually force it to.
"Oh hey Deidrick I think I twisted my ankle pretty good coming down the stairs" Derpy answered.
Deidrick was surprised she didn't seem nervous or jittery at all which was weird considering the fact that some girls thought he'd killed someone. "Do you think you can walk on it" Deidrick asked coming to kneel in front of her he checked out her ankle, it was already pretty swollen.
"I don't think so oh man now I'm never gonna get these papers delivered and I'm going to get fired again geez I'm such a klutz" Derpy said sadly.
"Your delivering papers at this time of night" Deidrick said raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah I like to sleep in so I deliver them at night" Derpy admitted. Deidrick just shook his head there had to be something wrong with this girl. Not only did she not seem to have any idea what could happen to a young attractive girl in a big city at this time of night but she was didn't seem to care that she was alone with her schools most feared student.
"Well I can help you out I really wouldn't want you to get fired and I can't just leave you here with your ankle like that" Deidrick sighed.
"You'd really help me out" Derpy smiled.
"Yeah I'll deliver the rest of the papers for you just tell me where they need to go" Deidrick nodded.
"Oh thank you so much" Derpy lunged forwards and hugged him.
"No problem" Deidrick couldn't help but smile a bit. "Come let's get these papers delivered before it gets too late" Deidrick picked Derpy up bridal style and carried her over to his bike where he sat her down gently before going back to get the bag of papers. "Alright Derpy where to" Deidrick asked getting on his bike.
"Okay we just need to deliver one paper to every house for the next six blocks going that way" Derpy said pointing down the street.
"SIX BLOCKS" Deidrick yelled, Derpy stuck her tongue out embarrassed. "You're lucky I came along when I did there was no way you would've made it with that ankle"
"Guess it's my lucky night" Derpy cheered.
Deidrick just face palmed and took off slowly making sure to hit every house with a paper that needed one. The ride was slow and Derpy as he found out was a complete chatter box and for some reason she was always talking about something muffin related. In fact the sheer amount of muffin related knowledge she had was mind boggling but it did end up making him laugh several times and as they finally finished delivering the papers Deidrick had noticed his mood had lightened up quite a bit. Derpy as it turns out was just one of those cheerful people you just could stay in a bad mood around. Deidrick drove them back onto campus and parked in front of his and Spike's place "I'll be right back" Deidrick said and hurried inside the house he came back out a few minutes later with an ankle wrap.
"Here let me see your leg" Deidrick said kneeling down since Derpy was still sitting on his bike. Derpy held out her leg and winced a bit as Deidrick poked her ankle. "The swellings gone down some but this should help" Deidrick started to gently but firmly wrap the cloth around Derpy's ankle.
"You know I can't see it" Derpy said looking down at Deidrick.
"See what" Deidrick said staying focused on wrapping her ankle.
"The other girls say lots of bad things about you...but I can't see them being true" Derpy said causing Deidrick to stop and look at her in shock. "You're a nice person I can tell" Derpy smiled.
"Oh really how can you tell" Deidrick asked.
"The way you helped me out with delivering those papers and the way you're taking care of me now…it reminds me of when I always got cut and scraped up as a kid even back then I was still clumsy but my mom would always patch me up. I remember how gentle she was and it's just how you are right now so there's no way you can be a bad person" Derpy smiled. Deidrick felt his cheeks blush and looked away from her embarrassed.
"Derpy…I…do you think your mom would've ever hurt anyone if someone she cared about was in danger" Deidrick asked softly not looking at her.
Derpy put her hand under her chin and thought for a minute "My mom was the kindest person I know she never once yelled or hit me even when I messed up…but I remember one time I came home crying because some girls at school had bullied me about my eyes" Derpy said
"You used to get bullied" Deidrick asked shocked from what he'd seen Derpy was one of the sweetest girls he'd ever met.
"Yeah most of the time it was just name calling but that time they waited for me after school and followed me as I walked home. When we got to a park one of them grabbed me and threw me down I tried to push her off but the other two grabbed my arms and held them down I tried to scream but they cover my mouth so all I could do was cry…it turns out some of the boys from school had admitted they liked me despite my eye since back then I used my bangs to cover it but they didn't like that so they cut my hair using a pair of scissors every time I tried to struggle they would slap me across the face" Derpy said looking up at the sky.
"When I told my mom what happened she just cried and hugged me at first but then she got angrier she grabbed a knife from the kitchen and yelled about going to find and fix the girls that had done it but I grabbed her and cried not matter how much she tried to push me off or how much she yelled I wouldn't let her go until she finally calmed down…so I think that even the kindest people can do bad things when the people they care about are hurting…but I don't think that makes them bad people if anything it shows how caring they are because they're willing to betray the kindness in their heart for the ones they love" Derpy smiled.
Deidrick didn't look at her for a while but Derpy could fill warm drops of water hitting her leg, so she did what her mother always did and gently combed her fingers through his hair while humming softly. They stayed like that for about ten minutes before Deidrick sniffed a few times "Ugh sorry about that had something stuck in my eye" he said standing up and stretching.
"It's okay" Derpy smiled.
"Well let's get you back to the dormitory" Deidrick said getting back on and starting his bike. The dormitory was close enough that they could've walked there in less than 5 minutes but Deidrick still didn't want Derpy to put any weight on her ankle yet. "What floor do you live on" Deidrick asked.
"The third floor but I think I can make it from here" Derpy said trying to stand but she winced and almost fell as soon as she tried to walk luckily Deidrick caught her and picked her up bridal style again.
"Just get your room key out" Deidrick said carrying her as if she didn't weigh anything at all. He carried her up the stairs and down the hall to her without breaking a sweat once Derpy unlocked her door he carried her over to her bed and sat her down gently.
"Thanks for carrying me all the way up here I know I couldn't have been light" Derpy said nervously as she realized she was alone with a guy in here room.
"You barely weigh anything to me…" Deidrick looked like he wanted to say more and after a moment of debating he shook his head and said it "Thanks a lot Derpy for telling me that story…it made me feel like a weight I had been carrying for a long time has been lifted slightly. If you ever need anything just let me know and I'll be there" Deidrick smiled. To his surprise Derpy shuffled around in her pockets and pulled out her cellphone and handed it to him.
"This way I can text you" Derpy smiled. Deidrick grinned and put his number in her phone before heading over to the door. "Good night sleep tight don't let the muffins bite" Derpy said as he opened.
Deidrick shook his head laughing a bit "Night Derpy" He waved shutting her door. As soon as he was in the hallway he realized he was in the middle of the girls dormitory and if one of them saw him he'd be in a world of trouble so he booked it out of there as fast as he could. Luckily he made it back to his bike without anyone seeing him and sped back home. By the time he made it back to his room and had changed back into his nightwear his phone vibrated. Swiping it to unlock it he saw it was a number with no contact name opening the message he burst out laughing it was a picture of a muffin 'Yup that's gotta be Derpy' he laughed until he fell asleep.
The next day Spike had finally recovered from his cold and was back at 100%. "Alright I can't wait to get back in class…I hope you left some girls for me" Spike teased as he put on his blazer.
"Trust me that's the last thing you have to worry about" Deidrick sighed.
"I'm surprised I thought you'd have half the girls in our grade numbers by now" Spike grinned.
"Nope I'm 100% focused on my studies" Deidrick said seriously.
"Okay who are you and what have done with Deidrick" Spike said raising his eye brow.
"Oh shut up come let's get going we don't want to be late for school" Deidrick said grabbing his bag.
"Yeah wouldn't want to keep the cuties waiting" Spike grinned grabbing his bag and following Deidrick out to his bike which had modified for two. When they pulled up in the parking lot Deidrick told Spike to go ahead on while he found a parking spot. The moment Spike entered the school the reaction was immediate he was almost instantly surrounded by girls asking him where he'd been and if he was okay. "Easy girls I'm fine I was just sick is all" Spike said trying to calm the girls down.
"Aww why didn't you tell us we would've taken care of you" Flitter winked.
"Haha thanks but Deidrick had it covered" Spike said trying to placate them. At the mention of Deidrick's name the girls went stiff and started whispering amongst themselves. Spike noticed the change and his mood instantly dropped his suspicions were only confirmed when Deidrick walked through the main entrance with the same scowl and cold eyes he'd worn since the girls had first found out. "Oh no" Spike frowned pushing his way through the girls.
"Deidrick why didn't you tell me" Spike hissed lowly.
"Tell you what" Deidrick said feigning ignorance.
"You know what I'm talking about how the hell did they find out about that" Spike questioned.
"Who knows but there's probably twenty different versions of it going around by now" Deidrick shrugged.
"And you're okay with this…why didn't you try to tell any of them the truth" Spike asked.
"Because they wouldn't believe me anyway just like at our last school…I tried to explain what happened till I was blue in the face but no one ever believed me so why should I even try" Deidrick growled lowly. "Look don't worry about me…on the bright side now you don't have any competition" Deidrick sighed
"So you're just going to go through this B.S all over again for me to have some fun" Spike said clenching his fist he actually felt like hitting Deidrick. Deidrick just shrugged "Well if you're not gonna tell them the truth I am" Spike said angrily walking away from Deidrick. The two boys didn't say another word to each other Deidrick was mad that Spike might end up in same boat as him by trying to defend him and Spike was mad that Deidrick wouldn't even try to make anyone understand what had really happened. What pissed Spike off more was the fact he could clearly see the difference between how the girls acted when Deidrick was around versus when he wasn't so by the time lunch rolled around his mood was already pretty bad. He sat down one of the larger tables that instantly filled with girls Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Sunset, Flitter, Vinyl, Octavia, Lightning Dust, Adagio, Aria, Sonata, Trixie, and Cloudchaser all sat around him.
"So I guess you all found out about Deidrick huh" Spike said.
"Spike look I know what it seems like but we didn't want it to end up this way someone must've overheard us when were in my room by the time we got to school the next day rumors were already out of control" Twilight admitted hopping Spike wouldn't be too mad.
"Rumors like what" Spike asked wanting to know how bad things had gotten. One after another the girls told him the various rumors going around the school about Deidrick each one worse than the next by the time they were done Spike was gritting his teeth. "Most of those aren't even close to the truth first off no one died and Deidrick definitely didn't kill anyone" Spike said making the girls sigh in relief.
"So are you gonna tell us what really happened" Rainbow asked.
"Yeah I guess I am" Spike took a deep breath before beginning.
"Back in freshman year me and Deidrick both went to a high school on the other side of town Deidrick was the top athlete at the school he played on nearly every sports team we had he was the guy that just seemed to be good at whatever he tried. By the time we were half way through the year soccer season started up and me and Deidrick joined the team since I'd been playing since I was 4 and Deidrick was just good at anything involving sports we got put on the varsity team right away and after a few games where we swept away the competition everyone said there was no way we were gonna lose as long as me and Deidrick were playing together, and they were right we ended up in the semi-finals still undefeated. The next team we were going against where the defending state champs and everyone said it was going to be a close game. We were all looking forwards to the big game no matter if we won or lost we had fun playing and that's all that mattered…at least to us it did" Spike paused as the story was about to take a darker turn.
"The other team didn't see it that way though and decided that they needed some extra insurance to make sure they won. After a late practice me and Deidrick were gonna walk home together but he forgot his books back in his gym locker and told me to go ahead and that he would catch up I knew he would so I went ahead on. I was about half way home when I was snatched up by a group of seniors from the other school they threw me into an alleyway and before I even had a chance to ask what was going on one of them punched me hard in the face." The girls gasped starting to understand what had happened.
"I've always been small for my age and I never really was a fighter I still tried to get away though but with it being six on one I had no chance when they all ganged up me. All I could do was curl into a ball and take it as they kicked and punched me I don't know how long it lasted before they finally stopped but it felt like forever at first I thought they were just gonna leave but then one of them pulled out a bat and told the other to hold me down…he said they were gonna break my legs to make sure I wouldn't be able to play in the game, I can't tell you how scared I was at the time." Spike clenched his hands together and nobody dared speak until he finished.
"I never got my legs broken though Deidrick had finally caught up to me and when he saw what was going on he flipped shit, I don't think I ever seen him that mad in my life. Unlike me Deidrick had studied martial arts since he was 5 and he was good really good, that's one of the reasons no ever messed with me when he was around. Anyway he knocked two of the guys out before they could even throw a punch. The other four tried to gang up on him but he was on a rampage he ended up breaking one of the guys arms and two of the guys noses before he knocked them out the last guy with the bat got it the worse though it wasn't intentional on Deidrick's part he kept swinging at Deidrick with the bat eventually Deidrick got away from him and they ended up in grappling match and eventually Deidrick managed to shoulder throw him but he landed awkwardly and ended up breaking his clavicle and shoulder." Spike paused.
"Wait so if he was defending you why did the new paper article demonize him so much, under those circumstances he should've been a hero" Twilight said the others agreeing with her.
"Well some passerby saw Deidrick beating the crap out of those guys and called the cops when they got there they didn't ask any questions the just put Deidrick in handcuffs and before anyone even had a chance to testify to what really happened the local news got a hold of the story and said that Deidrick had maliciously attacked the six guys with the bat in hopes of injuring them severely so that we would win the game. Of course once everything went to court and the truth was revealed Deidrick's family sued the new company for slander and had them remove anything related to the story but the damage was already done. People started to avoid Deidrick at all cost no one even wanted to be seen near him. He tried to explain what really happened dozens of times but no one believed him. By the time I got back to school he already dropped out and started getting home schooled." Spike finished. To his surprise he heard sniffing all around him and looked up to see nearly all the girls in the cafeteria where standing around him listening to his story some were crying and sniffing at the story.
"How dreadful" Rarity sniffed.
"Damn news they'll do anything for a quick story" Lightning Dust cursed.
"I can't believe no one believed him I mean they were supposed to be his friends" Trixie yelled angrily. Most of the girls around her agreed nodding their heads.
"Can you girls really say that after the way you've treated him" Spike said coldly. The girls all hung their heads down in guilt it was true no of them had even asked Deidrick what had really happened they just avoided and isolated him. They knew even if they had asked and had told some of them probably wouldn't have believed the story.
"Wow we've been pretty shitty haven't we" Cloudchaser admitted. All the girls agreed.
"Well let's not stand here feeling crappy all day ah say there's only one way to make this right and that's to apologize" Applejack said sternly.
"But where is he" Adagio said looking around.
"Oh I seen him go outside into the courtyard a second ago" Aria said.
"Then let's go apologize already" Vinyl said. The girls all started to head outside along with Spike. They found Deidrick sitting at a table with a pair of head phones on. But before they got a chance to go and apologize the unimaginable happen Derpy came over and sat across from him with a brown bag in her grip. Before they knew it she pulled out a muffin and gave it to Deidrick with a smile on her face all the girls froze like they'd just seen a ghost.
"Did that just happen" Rainbow said in disbelief.
"Yup" Lightning Dash said next to her in equal disbelief.
"What I don't get she just gave him a muffin what's the big deal" Spike asked confused.
"You don't get it" Trixie said in an almost scared tone.
"Get what" Spike asked frustrated.
"Derpy does not simply give people her muffins" Pinkie Pie said shaking Spike.
"Yeah that girl is on another level when it comes to muffins one time I seen her flip a car just cuz one of her muffins rolled under it" Sonata said.
"What no way" Spike said.
"I say we go over there and see what's going on" Aria said. The girls all quickly agreed and stomped over to the table.
"Derpy did you just give Deidrick a muffin" Fluttershy asked.
"Un huh" Derpy answered in her usual cheery attitude.
"But why you never share muffins with anyone" Flitter said.
"Well you see…" Derpy launched into the explanation of how Deidrick helped her out after he found her on the stairs, and how he wrapped her ankle and carried her up to the room. "It was so sweet of him the way he carried me made me feel just like a princess" Derpy said dreamily shaking her head while holding her blushing cheeks.
"Hey don't say it like that" Deidrick said slightly blushing.
"Aww so Deidrick's the type that acts all tough but he's really a big softy" Vinyl said in a teasing voice.
"Deidrick I scrapped my knee yesterday during practice could you kiss it and make it feel better" Cloudchaser said in a baby voice.
"Oh kiss mine too" Lightning Dash teased. Deidrick turned beat red before he snapped back to his senses.
"Wait why are you even talking to me" Deidrick asked his tone threatening to become cold again. The girls faces all dropped a bit as they remembered why they had originally wanted to find him.
"Well Spike told us everything that happened and…" Twilight trailed off.
"After hearing the truth we all realized we've been treating yah like a sour apple" Applejack finished. Deidrick raised his eyebrow confused.
"What they're trying to say is that we're sorry for how we've treated you these last few days" Cloudchaser.
"Wait so all of you believe Spike" Deidrick said in disbelief.
"Yeah after he told us what happened we came to apologize" Lightning Dust said.
"You girls realize I still put six guys in the hospital" Deidrick frowned.
"But you were defending Spike" Trixie said.
"And frankly with what those guys were trying to do they deserved it" Adagio said getting agreement with most of the girls.
"You did what you did to protect your friend and if that makes you some kind of monster I don't think I wanna be human anymore" Octavia said with a smile.
"So do you forgive us" Sunset asked.
Deidrick put his hand on his chin and thought for a while before he grinned "yeah I forgive you…after all I just can't stay mad at a bunch of cute girls"
The girls cheered some started talking to Deidrick while others were trying to get more details from Spike and a few where questioning Derpy about the time she spent with Deidrick. The rest of the day it was like a switch had been flipped at the school everyone was bright and cheerful Deidrick was back to his old cocky self and everything was looking up.
Later that night at Deidrick's and Spike's place
Deidrick was sitting on the front porch playing around on his guitar while Spike was in the front practicing some dribbling moves with a soccer ball. Spike practiced for a few more minutes before coming to sit on the porch with Deidrick the two of them where silent for a while until Deidrick broke the silence.
"I guess you're the one that came to my rescue this time huh" Deidrick said fiddling with the tuning on his guitar.
"What are friends for right" Spike grinned.
"Yeah I guess this makes us even huh" Deidrick said.
"No way you took on six guys for me I took on an entire school of girls for you, you definitely owe me three after this" Spike smirked.
"What no way none of the girls had a bat you gotta cut me some slack" Deidrick frowned.
"Fine but you still owe me one" Spike laughed.
"Alright deal" Deidrick chuckled.
"Kool well I'm gonna turn in today had been exhausting in more way then one" Spike yawned.
"Alright man" Deidrick said fist bumping Spike as he walked in the door.
Deidrick sat outside for a few more minutes before his phone range.
"Hello…no grandfather everything ended up fine…..yeah Spike managed to solve it….yeah I'm gonna stay I think this might be a good fit for me" Deidrick said staring up into the night sky.
AN: Alright that was chapter 2 hope everyone enjoyed it now that we got some of the drama out of the way it's time to get into some more intimate moments. Oh and if you think that's all there was to that little incident man have I got a twist for you but that well be way later in the story and I have plenty planed for you guys and girls in mean time so please review and let me know what you think.
P.S on a side note i know some people just want to read about Spike and the girls i get that i'm a big fan of fic's like that as well but i decided to do something different by bringing over Deidrick from my other story MLP story, because i wanted to add a different element to this story and i don't think some of the idea's i had would've fit Spike's character on the bright side whether your a Spike fan or a Deidrick fan(if you read my other story) there well be plenty of chapter that feature just Spike and his group of girls and chapters that feature just Deidrick and his group of girls. both males will have plenty of spot light chapters that will show off they can do.
P.S.S for those of you that PM me asking why Deidrick isn't a demon in this story all i have to say is keep reading the story for what it is not what you want it to be...maybe things will change maybe they won't
