Chapter 5
Deidrick and Spike were actually surprised at how well the party was going after the way the girls had said it made it seemed like they were just gonna get jumped. Luckily or unluckily depending on how you look at it the girls seemed pretty mellow they were now all scattered around the house chatting playing pool and air hockey. Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash had started a video game war, while Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Cloudchaser, and Flitter cheered them on. Spike was upstairs in his room playing air hockey with Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, and Applejack, while Twilight was looking over the books he had on the shelves. Deidrick was downstairs in his room playing doubles on the pool table with Derpy Sonata, and Aria. Adagio and Trixie were waiting their turn while Vinyl and Octavia were looking through some of the music Deidrick had laying around.
"Yes we Win" Applejack cheered as Spike scored the last point against Rarity and Sunset Shimmer. "Nice shot Spike" Applejack grabbing Spike and pulling him into a hug but because of their height difference Spike's head ended up in between her large breast. "Geez Deidrick how much Pizza did you get" Spike asked.
"Well I decided to get a bit of everything I got two cheese, two veggie lovers, three meat lovers, a Hawaiian style, and two pepperoni pizza's" Deidrick said holding a plate stack high with pizza.
"Well at least we have plenty of food now" Spike said grabbing a plate for Twilight and himself.
"Well you say that but we're already down three boxes" Deidrick said grabbing a cup of soda.
"What seriously how did you eat three boxes already" Spike said looking at Deidrick's loaded plate.
"What this is my first plate, it was the girls they may look like they could eat a leaf and get full but they can eat some pizza I'll tell you that much" Deidrick taking a bite out of a slice of meat lovers pizza.
"Well we're growing girls we need to eat so that we can grow in all the right places" Lightning Dust said giving Deidrick a friendly bump with her hips.
"Keep teasing like that and you're gonna make me grow in all the right places" Deidrick mumbled under his breath just loud enough for Spike who was sitting next to him at the bar counter to hear. Spike choked on the soda he was drinking causing Deidrick to roar with laughter.
"Dude can you not be so perverted" Spike choked.
"Is that a rhetorical question" Deidrick asked in a deadpan voice making Spike facepalm.
"You've got some serious issues" Spike shook his head.
"Tell me something I don't know" Deidrick shrugged.
"Did you know you almost got whooped in that last game of pool" Aria said walking over.
"What it wasn't even close we had two balls left to your six" Deidrick argued.
"Yeah but it was our turn and Sonata had a double line up not to mention every other ball we had was sitting at the edge of a pocket there was no way we were gonna lose" Aria said smugly.

"Now this I gotta see" Spike said finishing off his pizza.
"We'll you'll have to see it some other time because me and Lightning Dust Challenge you two to a video game duel best two out of three games" Rainbow Dash smirked.
"What does the winner get" Spike asked.
"The winner gets one favor from one of the losers…now are you to gonna play or are you too scared of getting beat by girls" Rainbow mocked. Deidrick and Spike looked at other and nodded.
"You're on" Spike said standing up he and Deidrick made their way over to the couch in front of the T.V.
"Alright we'll let you girls get first pick" Deidrick said grabbing a controller.
"We pick tekken 6" Lightning Dust said putting the game into the system.
"Looks like we got an easy win" Spike grinned.
"I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you" Rainbow Dash said picking her favorite character Eddie.
"I already know I'm gonna win" Spike said picking Brian.
Everyone anxiously waited for the first match to start, and when it did it was a land slide victory he was able to block all of rainbow combos and hit her with quick hard hits taking only one or two hits the entire match. The second round Rainbow was more cautious it wasn't a very exciting match but Rainbow managed to come away with the win. The third match was probably one of the biggest upsets any of them had ever seen Spike was dominating the match hitting Rainbow with the hardest combos he could and it looked like it was going to be another land slide victory until Rainbow ducked under a hard hook that would've ended the fight and hit Spike with a hard uppercut launching him into the air after that she just juggled his body with acrobatic punches and kicks never letting him touch the ground. Spike watched helplessly as his health drained all the way to 100% to 0. "Oh yeah who's awesome" Rainbow Dash cheered while Spike groaned in defeat.
"I'll get you next game" Spike said handing off the controller to Deidrick.
"Don't worry Spike I got this one" Deidrick said picking Raven he was sure he was gonna win especially when Lightning Dust chose Lili, but as the match began he realized he was sorely mistaken. Both their characters had a more acrobatic move set but Lightning Dust had a big speed advantage and her combos could still be chained together on a downed opponent which meant once Deidrick got knocked on the ground it was all over as Lightning Dust cartwheeled all over him for two back to back wins.
"Oh yeah that's one win for the girls" Rainbow and Lightning Dust high fived.
"Alright lucky win but we get next pick" Deidrick said.
"And what game are you guys choosing" Lightning Dust asked.
"Spike you want to do the honors" Deidrick smirked as Spike popped in their favorite game. Rainbow and Lightning Dust groaned as Mortal Kombat showed up on the T.V screen.
"Sorry but there's not gonna be any mercy this time" Spike said picking sub-zero.
"Are you forgetting who just whooped your butt last game" Rainbow said picking Johnny cage. Too bad for her Spike knew sub-zero's combos like the back of his hand and quickly overwhelmed her chaining together quick combos with his freezing abilities to earn two back to back Flawless victories before finishing her off with the classic Spinal rip fatality.
"Oh come on" Rainbow complained handing off the controller to Lightning Dust.
"Don't be so upset Rainbow Lightning Dust isn't gonna do any better" Deidrick gloated picking Scorpion.
"I'm gonna crush you just like last time" Lighting Dust declared.
"You were saying" Deidrick gloated as he won two matches without taking a hit and used his fatality to send her to Hell.
"Damn it" Lightning Dust cursed.
"Okay so it's one to one and we got the last pick" Rainbow Dash said getting up and picking the next game. To everyone's surprise it was a racing game. Deidrick grabbed the extra two controllers and threw one to Lightning Dust.
"Alright fella the rules are simple five laps around the track highest total point score wins." Rainbow Dash said as everyone picked their cars.
"So all we have to do is come in first and second and we win" Spike said figuring victory as already assured.
"Yup" Rainbow Dash glanced over at Lightning Dust and nodded the two got up and walked behind the couch the boys were sitting on and leaned on the back of it.
"What are you two up" Deidrick asked suspiciously.
"Just getting a better view of the T.V" Lightning Dust said innocently.
"Yeah just don't try anything funny" Spike said glancing up at Rainbow.
"We won't promise" Rainbow said as both she and Lightning Dust had their fingers crossed behind their backs. The guys took them at their word and got ready for the match to start. Once the race began both teams were even staying right next to each other for the first two laps but as the third and fourth lap came along Spike and Deidrick started to pull ahead because they had played the game more they knew what turns they could take at top speed while Lightning Dust and Rainbow kept breaking, but the girls were still hanging in there and one wrong move could change everything. The current placement was Spike in first Deidrick in Second Rainbow in third and Lightning Dust in fourth. Now that they were on the last lap it looked like the boys were gonna win as Spike started to approach the final hair pin turn he started to speed up so he could drift around it. Right as he started to brake and drift Rainbow Dash bent low and nibbled his right ear. "Spike what the Hell how'd you mess up the turn "Deidrick yelled not taking his eyes off the T.V to look at Spikes current situation. "Alright break it up you two" Twilight said pulling Rainbow away from Spike.
"Hey Deidrick can you play this song" Octavia asked excitedly handing Deidrick a few sheets of music she'd found on his bed.
"Of course I can….if Spike sings the lyrics" Deidrick grinned.
"What no way" Spike said shaking his head.
"Spike you can sing" Sunset asked.
"Yeah he's actually has a great voice when it comes to rock and even some R n b" Deidrick revealed.

"Ugh fine" Spike sighed.
"Alright let me grab my guitar and amp really fast" Deidrick ran down stairs and grabbed everything he needed and came back up setting up in the living room in front of the T.V. Deidrick tested the cords and tuning of his guitar by playing a few cords. "Alright Spike you ready" Deidrick asked.
"What song are we doing anyway" Spike asked.
"Dance with the devil by Breaking Benjamin" Deidrick said.

"Alright ready one…two…three" Deidrick started effortlessly playing the intro. After a few seconds Spike started to sing along with music.
"Here I stand helpless and left for dead" The girls were shocked as Spike sang the intro before Deidrick started playing the heavier riffs between lyrics. "You two are awesome" Vinyl agreed.

"Do the solo from Disturbed inside the fire and the solo from tears don't fall from Bullet for my valentine back to back" Spike smirked.
"Alright count me down" Deidrick said getting ready.
"One, two, three, Go" Spike yelled as soon as he said go Deidrick started to lay into the heavy riffs from the disturbed solo before flawlessly switching to the lightning quick riffs from tears don't fall. The girls jaws all dropped as his fingers blurred on the cords as he played both solos perfectly.
"Holy crap" was all the Cloudchaser could say after Deidrick finished.
"How was that" Deidrick grinned.
"Freaking Epic" Sonata cheered.
"Deidrick you have to join our band we've been wanting to had a rock element to some of our songs for a while now" Adagio said giving him puppy dog eyes.
"Pwease" Sonata and Aria said giving him puppy dog eyes too.
"Ahh Fine I can never say no to puppy dog eyes" Deidrick sighed.
"In that case Spike you have got to join the Rainbooms we could use a male singer it would really take our band to the next level" Rainbow pleaded giving Spike pouty lips.

"Sure that could be fun" Deidrick agreed.
"Awesome you too should let me mix some of your music" Vinyl interjected.

"Nice" Vinyl smirked.
"Hey Deidrick I'm gonna head home…I have a big assignment forgot was due Monday" Derpy said pulling him aside.
"You're heading home already it's only…holly crap it's already 10 o clock" Deidrick said looking down at his watch. "It's pretty dark out Derpy you want me to take you home" Deidrick offered.
"No I'm good the dormitory isn't far" Derpy said shaking her head.
"Okay if you're sure, just send me a text so I know you got back okay" Deidrick said.
"Okay…thanks for inviting me to the party I had a lot of fun" Derpy smiled.
"No problem I'm glad you had a good time feel free to stop by anytime" Deidrick smiled back.
"Okay I will good luck with the rest of the party….you're gonna need it" Derpy smiled adding the last part under her breath as she walked away.
"Huh wonder what that was about" Deidrick said closing the door he turned around to find the mood of the party had completely changed gone was the friendly atmosphere that had lasted up till this point it had been replaced by a wickedly tense atmosphere similar to what a gazelle might feel right before a pack of hungry lionesses start chasing it. "Hey Spike we still need to finish our air hockey matches" Rarity smiled sweetly grabbing Spike's hand and pulling him upstairs. Rainbow, Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Sunset, and Flitter quickly followed Spike upstairs with devious smiles, Flitter made sure to lock the door that lead upstairs to Spike's room as she headed up making sure that they wouldn't have any unwanted interruptions.
"Well looks like someone is in for some fun" Deidrick chuckled to himself.
"Oh he's not gonna be the only one" Trixie smirked. Deidrick turned to see the rest of the girls eyeing him like a starving person would a stake. Deidrick just put on his best cocky grin and headed down to his room.
Upstairs to Spike and the girls
"So Spikey Wikey what do you say we make this game a little more interesting" Rarity smirked.
"Sure what are you thinking" Spike asked.
