AN: okay so chapter 11 is finally done like I said I plan on making this a larger arc which means even though I'm trying to keep Spike and Rainbow as the center I still need to set the stage with where I want to arc to go I'm still taking votes for who you guys think should lose their V-cards in this arc so far for Spike Rainbow and Applejack are neck and neck and for Deidrick Derpy has a major lead so anyway on with the chapter.
Chapter 11
"Damn it" Rainbow cursed it was 6 in the afternoon and she was getting tired and frustrated she had been out on the soccer field practicing for hours trying to take her dribbling skills to the next level. Across from her stood Spike with his arms crossed his eyes glinting in amusement with a slightly smug look on his face. Usually Rainbow would've knocked anyone else out if they looked at her like that especially if they were the cause of her frustration 'ugh he's lucky he's cute' Rainbow frowned.
"You ready to go again Dashie" Spike teased knowing how frustrated she was at the moment he knew he was treading the line with her temper. Usually he wouldn't have been so antagonistic towards her but this whole training session had been her idea and he wasn't exactly happy that she had went ahead and added his and Deidrick's name to the roster for the soccer team without either of their permission and had insisted that they come and help with practice after school. Deidrick of course wasn't happy as it was cutting into his gym time and he was apparently very popular at the gym which Spike found out why after accompanying him to the gym a few times.
Spike on the other hand besides homework for the most part he didn't have many plans for his time after school, and he usually got snatched up by one of the girls who wanted to hang with him or wanted his help with something not that he was complaining since he enjoyed spending time with them and they always made it worth the time and effort. The whole point of their practice sessions were to improve Rainbows footwork dribbling and stealing right now they were focusing on the latter Spike would use his dribbling skills to try to keep Rainbow from getting the ball while she tried to steal it in a way that wouldn't result in a foul or card being called. Spike only had a set amount of space to try to avoid her which was set up by four red cones if she managed to force him out of the box or stole it from him then they switch and then Rainbow would have to keep the ball from him giving her a chance to work on her foot work, but he managed to hold onto the ball for three minutes without her taking it then the timer would reset and she would have to start over. So far in the last three hours they had only switched a handful of times leading to Rainbows frustration as it had taken her a dozen tries before she was able to steal the ball from Spike and it had only taken him two before he had stole it back from her.
Rainbow paid close attention to Spike's body she didn't want to pay super close detail to his feet since the last time she did that it ended up with her being crossed so badly she had nearly split her shorts. She only went for a steal whenever he showed and opening no matter how small if was normally it would have resulted in about a 35 to 40 percent success rate but because Spike's speed and skill while dribbling that had been cut drastically to about a 7 to 10 percent success rate and most of the time even when she managed to knock the ball away from him he was able to quickly recover which agitated her even more. She was sure that in terms and of skills Spike was probably already at the college level even during practice no one could touch him even Deidrick couldn't do anything besides try to bully Spike off the ball and that was barely successful seeing as Spike had more speed and stamina than his friend and could usually outsprint or dribble around him.
Lunging forwards Rainbows foot caught nothing but air as Spike quickly shifted the ball around him to his other foot. Rainbow smacked her lips and started trying to cut him off and forced him out of the box Spike used his speed to try to circle around her but she was a faster then him and soon he was at the edge of the box. Seeing her opportunity Rainbow lunged in with her right foot but Spike just smirked rotating his left foot in a circle around the ball he deflected her foot with his own opening her defense before using his right leg to kick the ball through her legs. Rainbow tried to turn and go after it but she was off balance and ended up falling flat on her ass and Spike spun around her and took possession of the ball again just as a timer went off signaling that three minutes had elapsed.
"Ugh how the hell are you this good" Rainbow groaned she wasn't used to being matched yet alone excelled by in skill by anyone in any sport and the fact that she had been outclassed by a decent margin by Spike was a big blow to her ego she was just happy no one was around to watch her dismal performance.
"I've been practicing since I was young" Spike shrugged.
"So have I it doesn't make sense, how are you this much better than me" Rainbow scowled.
"To be honest in terms of balance you're a much better player than I am in certain areas your speed and agility is better than mine not to mention your defense is a hell of a lot better than mine the only reason your having so much trouble is because you're going against me in area's I specialize in it's pretty much like Twilight trying to out bench-press Deidrick" Spike said trying to placate the Rainbow haired captain.
"Okay I wouldn't go that far" Rainbow said with a bit of a chuckle.
"Haha in terms of technique you're not doing anything wrong it just takes some time to get used to my style of dribbling" Spike said.
"I'll say I never seen anyone pull of some of those moves you did" Rainbow said getting up off the ground.
"Yeah…some of them took a lot of work to even come up with yet alone get good enough at to actually use…anyway how about we call it a day for now I'm starving and Deidrick should be working on dinner soon so why don't you join us" Spike said stretching. He was coated in sweat and a shower was the first thing on his mind.
"Ugh but I'm covered in sweat" Rainbow frowned.
"Didn't you bring clothes to change into after we were done" Spike asked rolling his eyes when she shook her head.
"Don't give me that I didn't know you were going to be such a challenge" Rainbow crossed her arms with a cute pout her cheeks dusted red.
"Oh come on Skittles you should know how much of a challenge I can be by now" Spike said walking by her giving her a nice pop on the ass making her jump. "I have some clothes you can wear so come on" Spike turned back with a smirk.
"You wouldn't be planning anything funny now would you Spikey Wikey" Rainbow grinned using Rarity's pet name for him. Not knowing that Rarity had just uncontrollably punched a hole in her bedroom wall.

Rainbow frowned and tried to trip him making him stumble forwards "What the heck Rainbow" Spike said finally getting his balance.
"What you should really watch your step" Rainbow crossed her arms with a slight glare.
"What's your problem" Spike frowned.
"Nothing I'm fine" Rainbow snapped back quickly.
"Oh yeah" Spike said walking towards her.
"Yeah" Rainbow said holding her ground.
"Really" Spike said stopping inches away from her.
This was what Rainbow was hoping for she quickly grabbed him by the front of his tank top and yanked him towards her smashing her lips into his she forced her tongue into his mouth quickly dominating his before pulling away before he could react leaving a thin line of saliva between them.

"Trust me he won't mind besides his hands have been full all day and he was planning on making a large meal anyway" Spike answered.
"Why is that" Rainbow asked.
"You'll see" Spike chuckled.

Rainbow's jaw dropped as Spike opened the door and loud dubstep almost shattered her ear drums. Vinyl was sitting on the couch playing Zombies with Octavia Adagio Sonata and Aria were playing twister in the space between the kitchen and living room, Lightning Dust and Cloudchaser were arm wrestling Trixie and Derpy were literally hanging off Deidrick's neck as he ran around like a kitchen with his head streaming "Cold….Cold ….Cold ….Cold" apparently Trixie and Derpy where shoving ice into his shirt.

"Well apparently last weekend Deidrick went out on a date with Derpy after she told him to be her boyfriend for the day now the other girls decided to pretty much invite themselves over for the weekend" Spike said barely holding back his laughter at the scene in front of him.
"Oh" Rainbow said unable to hold back her laughter anymore after Sonata joined Derpy and tricky and started trying to shove ice down Deidrick's pants.
"Deidrick Rainbow's gonna join us for dinner so make sure you make enough" Spike yelled over the music.
"Yeah I'll get started on dinner as soon as…Derpy stop biting there" Deidrick was now spinning around trying the throw the girls off him. "Spike please help I can't make dinner like this" Deidrick frowned.
"Seriously where would you be without me" Spike smirked.
"On a beach in Malibu sipping a margarita now HELP ME" Deidrick last two words came out as more of a squeal as Derpy and Trixie bit his ears.
"Okay girl's new game" Spike yelled over the music drawing all the girls' attention. "It's called the silent game you have to try to stay quiet for as long as possible"
"That sounds boring" Vinyl sighed.
"Deidrick will take the winner on a date next weekend" Spike smirked as all the girls rushed to find a comfortable place to sit and something to do that would keep them from talking. "Time stars now" Spike turned to Deidrick who jaw was nearly on the floor.
"That's all it took" Deidrick said in disbelief.
"Like I said where would you be without me" Spike smirked.
"I owe you one anyway I'll get started on dinner so you two go get cleaned up you smell like grass and sweat" Deidrick frowned making his way to the kitchen.
"Come on Rainbow" Spike said leading her up to his room. "You can shower first" Spike said after they had gotten up to his room.
"Well I need something to change into unless you want me to come out the shower butt ass naked" Rainbow smirked when he blushed a bit but didn't move to grab her anything. "Spike"

Apparently Rainbow didn't even notice until he pull open the glass door to step inside making her jump. "The tables all set" Octavia called from the dining room.
"Great go ahead and sit down I'll have your plates ready in a second" Deidrick glanced at Rainbow and Spike "You two sit down too I got this".
Spike and Rainbow didn't need to be told twice and hurriedly found two spots next to each other at the table not even a second later Deidrick started setting plates filled with delicious Italian goodness in front of them before sitting down in between Derpy and Sonata.
"Alright dig in" Deidrick grinned.
Spike immediately went for the lasagna getting as big of a fork full as possible before shoving it into his mouth. "Deidrick this is amazing" Spike nearly yelled.
"Thanks I thought I'd try an original recipe with this dish glad you like it though I think it could use a bit of oregano" Deidrick sighed,
"This is perfect who knew you were such a great cook" Trixie teased.
"Seriously this better than any restaurant lasagna I ever had" Cloudchaser added with everyone else nodding in agreement.
"Well glad everyone likes it I made plenty so go ahead and eat up" Deidrick grinned.
No one needed to be told twice as almost everyone had seconds with Cloudchaser Lightning Dust and Rainbow having thirds and Spike and Deidrick slamming down fourths. After dinner the girls helped with the cleaned before most of them headed back to the dorms for the night.
Deidrick and Spike were finishing up the last of the dishes while Rainbow Cloudchaser and Lightning Dust laid back on the couches with full stomach. Apparently while Spike was helping with training Rainbow for the playoffs by working on her offensive skills Deidrick was helping to train Lighting Dust and Cloudchaser with their defense by building up their strength and stamina.

"Yeah I figured you would eat a lot considering how many calories you burned messing around with Rainbow" Deidrick grinned handing Spike a glass.
"Yeah well some of her training isn't exactly easy but she always gives everything 110% she really wants to win the playoffs this year" Spike said.
"That's good and all but I wasn't talking about that" Deidrick frowned.
"What are you talking about then" Spike asked.
"You know the silent game might not be the best thing to pick for everyone else to play if you're planning to mess around" Deidrick grinned as Spike turned beat red.
"We were that loud" Spike said feeling embarrassed.
"I'm just glad we don't have any neighbors" Deidrick laughed.
"Sorry things kinda got out of hand…if you hadn't knocked I'd probably have lost my virginity and took Rainbow's" Spike admitted making Deidrick choke.

"Yeah trust me I know I wish I could have my first time over again" Deidrick grumbled.
"I still can't believe you lost yours to your baby sitter" Spike said suppressing a chuckle.
"I blame my grandfather I was fucking 14 there was one way in hell I should have needed a babysitter especially not her" Deidrick shuddered thinking of the nightmare he had endured. "Anyway don't stress over the romance I'm sure however and whoever you lose it with will end up being special" Deidrick said encouragingly.
"Thanks man" Spike smiled neither of the boys having any idea what the girls were currently discussing.
"Seriously how can you not see it" Cloudchaser said leaning back on the couch.
"I'm telling you you're crazy there's no way" Rainbow frowned.
"I agree with Rainbow I think you're reading too much into it" Lightning Dust sighed.
"That what everyone said when I said the same thing about Octavia and Vinyl" Cloudchaser threw out.
"She does have a point there" Lightning Dust perked up.
"Okay I call bullshit I don't think either one of them is bi otherwise one of us would have noticed something by now" Rainbow hissed.
"But you can't deny they seem to have a certain chemistry" Cloudchaser grinned.
"They've known each other since they were little they wouldn't be friends all that time if they didn't get along" Rainbow stated.
"True but don't you think it's weird that even with though they have such opposite personality traits they seem to always have an idea what the other persons thinking" Cloudchaser said. "Just think about Deidrick coming back from a hard day at the gym covered in sweat adrenaline pumping barges into Spike's room while he's doing his homework before Spike and has a chance Deidrick grabs him and has him face first against the wall Spike tries to push him off as he rips off his shorts but deep inside he knows he wants it as Deidrick line up his rock hard prepared to violate Spike tight as-"

Rainbow walked next to Spike as they all walked towards the dorms looking at his content expression she was happy she'd meet him he'd helped her in more way then he was knew and that she was willing to admit now there was just one thing she needed to clear up before she thought about taking their relationship any further.
