AN: Hey everyone sorry about the wait on this chapter I'm very sorry I especially want to apologize to 'The Dragon Sniper' I told you I was supposed to have out last weekend but a few things came up that I had to deal with so I was delayed with finishing this up. Better late than never right hope everyone enjoys this chapter hopefully there want be such a long break between this chapter and the next one.

Chapter 12

"Just kill me" Deidrick moaned falling flat on his back, ever since the girls made it to the semi- finals in the state tournament Rainbow had been pushing the team's training harder than ever.

"Come on you can't be tired already" Spike chuckled offering a hand to help him up.

"You and Rainbow Dash are freaks of nature okay you can't expect normal people like us to be able to keep up with you" Deidrick groaned letting Spike help him to his feet. "Seriously my legs can't take much more of this".

"Well at least you don't have to stay after normal practice" Spike sighed.

"I thought you liked having private one on one time with Rainbow" Deidrick joked.

"Don't get me wrong she awesome and all and I understand her drive to win but I think she might be pushing herself to hard have you noticed she's had a slight limp lately" Spike asked.

"You know now that you mention it yeah it does seem like her stride is off" Deidrick observed.

"Yeah I thought so I wish she would take a break" Spike sighed.

"Why don't you ask her out on a date" Deidrick suggested.

"Dude she would never skip practice to go on a date" Spike scuffed.

"For you she would" Deidrick said in a flat tone.

"She's not the most feminine girl out there though what would I do for a date" Spike asked.

"Why are you asking me" Deidrick raised an eyebrow.

"You know why" Spike said in a deadpan voice.

"Ugh fine I don't know her as well as you do but if you really want to impress her take her on a date that Rarity would like" Deidrick said.

"Can't you take this seriously" Spike groaned.

"I am just here me out okay…Rainbow Dash is attractive no one can deny that, but because of her tomboyish attitude I'm sure no other guy as ever really treated her like a lady so why don't you take her out get her a nice dress take her to a nice restaurant you know all that cliché shit that girls in movies eat up" Deidrick said.

Spike put his hand on his chin thinking for a second on one hand Rainbow could always say no though he doubted she would…one the other hand he could really make her feel special if he went through with this. 'Oh well no risk no reward right' Spike thought as Rainbow blew her whistle signaling the end of practice. "Hey I'll see you at the house later" Spike said as he headed over to Rainbow while Deidrick waved back to him Cloudchaser and Lightning Dust running over to him.

"Yo Rainbow" Spike yelled.

"Sup Spike, don't think I didn't see you and Deidrick slacking off on the workout routine I gave you" Rainbow frowned.

"Yeah about that we just got pretty tired is all" Spike said sheepishly.

"I highly doubt that Deidrick just wanted to be lazy didn't he" Rainbow huffed.

"Well you know how he can be sometimes" Spike laughed. "Anyway I was wondering what are you doing next Wednesday" he asked.

"We have practice Thursday so I was probably going to just relax you know rest up since that will be our last practice before the semifinals Saturday" Rainbow answered.

"Oh okay well I was just wondering if you maybe you know wanted to go on a date maybe" Spike scratched the back on his head.

"Haha are you seriously nervous right now: Rainbow laughed.

"It's not like I make it a habit of asking girls out you know" Spike frowned.

"Oh is that so…well I guess I don't mind as long as we aren't out too late" Rainbow smirked.

"Really…I mean cool so how about I pick you up at 6:00"Spike said.

"Pick me up what on Deidrick's bike" Rainbow asked.

"No just trust me I have something planned okay" Spike smiled.

"Okay if you say so I'll be ready so make sure you aren't late" Rainbow said trusting Spike wouldn't do anything to crazy.

"Trust me I won't be late" Spike smirked.

"You better not be…now come on just cause normal practice is over doesn't mean you're off the hook" Rainbow grinned as Spike sighed knowing she was probably going to get him back for slacking off during practice even if it was mostly Deidrick's fault.

"Man you look like shit" Deidrick laughed as Spike walked into the house covered and sweat looking like Rainbow had worked him half to death.

"Oh shut up…because of you Rainbow had me running footwork drills for an hour before we even started our normal training routine" Spike groaned flopping down on the other couch.

"The things we do for love" Deidrick teased.

"Whatever" Spike grumbled.

"Oh yeah did she say yes to the date" Deidrick asked.

"Yeah we're gonna go out next Wednesday" Spike answered.

"Nice told you she say yes" Deidrick grinned.

"Yeah anyway you have any ideas for the date since this whole thing was your idea in the first place" Spike said sitting up.

"I told you just take her on a date you think Rarity would like" Deidrick sighed.

"Well what kind of date would Rarity like" Spike asked.

"How the hell am I supposed to know I'm not the one who's she trying to get to stick their needle in her pin cushion" Deidrick joked making Spike chuckle. "just do something fancy I'm sure you'll figure it out you're a Von' Drake after all…anyway I'm going to take a shower I have things to do later" Deidrick said getting up.

"If by things do you mean Derpy and by do you mean fu-"Spike grunted as a pillow smacked him in the face cutting him off, he tried to throw it back but Deidrick had already ran down the stairs to his room leaving him to plop back down on the couch. Spike laid there for a few minutes thinking before he decided on what plan of action he wanted to take. Picking up his phone he dialed I number he hadn't used since he started school this year, he sighed as the line rang waiting to be connected after three rings the line picked up.

"Hello you've reached the Von' Drake residence may I ask who calling" came an elderly voice from the other line that made Spike smirk.

"Hello Seymour" Spike answered.

"Young Master is that you" Seymour asked.

"Who else would it be" Spike laughed.

"My Apologies young master it's just I wasn't expecting you to call is everything alright" Seymour asked.

"Yes Seymour everything is fine" Spike answered. "Are mom and dad home".

"Yes sir they arrived back from business a few hours ago would you like me to connect you to them" Seymour asked.

"Please" Spike said curtly taking a deep breath as the line was connected "Hello" Spike said tentatively.

"OH MY GOD SON ITS SO GOOD TO HERE FROM YOU" the voice of his mother Liz screamed into his ears almost making him drop the phone.

"Hey mom" Spike said rubbing his ears.

"Hey Spikey is everything okay, how are you doing, is Deidrick doing alright, is the place your living in to small, are you getting enough sleep, how are your grades, you better be doing your homework, have you met any cute girls yet, are you still a virgin, you better be using protection I don't care what your father said the pull out method does not work" Liz said talking a mile a minute. Spike couldn't help but to smile then frown at his mother's antics.

"Yes mom everything is fine, I'm doing fine and so is Deidrick, the place we're living more than big enough, yes I'm getting enough sleep, my grade are perfect like always, yes I've been doing all my homework, I've actually met a lot of cute girls which is one of the reasons I'm calling, I don't think it's any of your business if I'm still a virgin or not, and ew I don't even want to think about that last thing" Spike said answering everything in the same rapid pace his mom had asked.

"Sooo…your still a virgin got it" Liz giggled making Spike blush.

"Ugh mom" Spike groaned.

"It's okay take your time becoming a man there's no rush even though I thought at a school full of girls you would have lost it by now, but you know what they say good things come to those who wait. I mean you do like girls right, I mean if you like guys that's fine to there's nothing wrong with that but you would tell us if you were right, and if you are who are you interested in a bet it's Deidrick isn't-"

"I LIKE GIRLS SERIOUSLY WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYONE GETTING THIS YOAI FANTASTY ABOUT ME AND Deidrick I'M STRAIGHT HE'S STRAIGHT END OF STORY GOT IT THE WHOLE REASONS I'M CALLING IS BECAUSE I WANT TO TAKE THIS GIRL I LIKE OUT OF A FANCY DATE" Spike yelled.

"Oh why didn't you just say so I can plan you the most extravagant date that Canterlot has to offer do you have your black unlimited card don't you" Liz asked.

"Yeah but I haven't really been using it for anything" Spike admitted.

"WHY NOT" Liz yelled.

"I don't really have a reason" Spike sighed.

"How have you not had a reason you said earlier you've met a lot of cute girls haven't you been taking them on dates" Liz said her voice carrying a slight amount of hostility.

"No not really" Spike admitted sheepishly.

"Spike Von' Drake that is not how your father and I raised you, you should be showing those girls the time of their lives" Liz said frowning upon her sons actions.

"I just didn't want to waste money" Spike said.

"If that isn't the lamest excuse you've come up with since the time you snuck out with Deidrick try to go meet those girls you met on the internet and said you were just trying to buy a goldfish from them…Seriously who buys a gold fish at 2am" Liz laughed. "Spike my point is you could spend 1,000 dollars a day for the rest of your life and it wouldn't make a dent in our fortune so what's the real reason" Liz asked sensing there was something deeper bothering her son.

"Well the truth is…I just don't want them to like me for what I have and not who I am you know I want them to like me not the fact that I'm loaded" Spike sighed.

"Oh does this have anything to do with Scarlet" his mother asked in a soft tone. Spike's fingers curled into a fist out of instinct at the mention of his ex's name. Scarlet had been the first girl he had ever really fallen for she was completely different from his normal type and thinking back on it the attraction had mostly come from lust but that didn't make what she did to him hurt any less.

"Probably" Spike admitted solemnly.

"Oh Spikey I know she hurt you but you can't keep holding back because of her do you really think the girl you want to take on this date is anything like Scarlet" Liz asked.

"Of course not she a complete 180 she's dedicated to what she believes in she can be stubborn and obnoxious sometimes but she kind and really cares about her friends and above all she loyal" Spike said.

"Well than there you go Spikey go and enjoy yourself you don't need to hide who you really are" Liz said her voice full of warmth and reassurance.

"Thanks Mom you always know what to say" Spike grinned.

"It's a mother's talent…also let her know that if she hurts you I will do everything in my power to make her life a living hell" Liz said her voice eerie with malice.

"I don't think that will be needed mom" Spike said breaking out in a cold sweat.

"If you say so sweetie…oh yeah I meant to ask if Deidrick's doing okay you know that time of year is coming" Liz asked with concern.

"So far he's been pretty normal he has a few girls that have been looking out for and he's been getting more social I just hope it last" Spike sighed.

"Well you know we're always here for both of you especially Deidrick since his father hasn't exactly been able to be there for him since that…day I just hope they can forgive each other and come to terms one day I know this isn't what she would have wanted to see the two people she loved the most become…anyway have fun on your date" Liz said happily.

"Wait can I talk to dad" Spike asked.

"Sorry dear your father's in the dog house right now he decided to try to get frisky with a ruby runner in South Africa and needs to be punished" Liz said and a voice that promised pain and suffering for her flirtatious husband.

"Geez again doesn't he ever learn" Spike shook his head. "Well tell him I called love you both bye" he hung up getting up and deciding to go take a shower. Deidrick passed him heading to the front door waiting until he was at the door Spike turned and yelled "Well I would tell you to tell Derpy I said Hey but you know it rude to talk with your mouth full". Spike sprinted up the stairs leaving a blushing Deidrick chasing after him and pounding on his locked door for five minutes before Spike yelled that he better hurry up and get going so he wouldn't keep his 'Muffin queen' waiting. Laughing as he heard his best friend stomping back down the stairs cursing fluently.

Still chuckling Spike stripped out of his sweaty clothes throwing them into a laundry basket as his phone rang looking at the caller ID he smirked. "Sup Skittles" he smirked.

"Shut up before I make you taste the Rainbow again" Rainbow voice came back.

"Not like I'd be complaining" Spike laughed.

"Oh is that an invitation" Rainbow asked.

"If you want to be I mean after all I'm walking around my room half naked right now since I was about to hop in the shower so I don't see why you couldn't join me" Spike smirked. Rainbow Dash bit her bottom lip as she imagined Spike's toned upper body and shredded abs.

"As tempting as that offer is I can't right now principal Celestia is checking the dorms right now apparently there's been some noise complaints and some girls are freaking out about the third floor being haunted" Rainbow Dash sighed.

"Hey Skittles what floor dose Derpy live on" Spike asked.

"Third floor why….Ohhhhh" Rainbow said realizing what was going on.

"Haha oh my gosh I bet Deidrick's over there right now" Spike laughed.

"Are you serious you better warn him Celestia's almost done checking the second floor and if she catches him munching Derpy's muffin I doubt he'll get off scout free worst case scenario he might even get expelled" Rainbow said making Spikes eyes widen no way in hell was Deidrick gonna drag him into this just to get expelled.

"I'll talk to you later" Spike said hanging up. Quickly dialing Deidrick's number he started panicking as Deidrick didn't answer "Fucking now of all times" he curse dialing Derpy's cellphone number. He breathed a sigh up relief when she answered though it was obvious his call was interrupting something as she was breathless and her voice was higher pitched than normal. "H-hey Spike did you n-need something Mmm" Derpy said trying to push Deidrick's head away from her 'No-No square'.

"Principal Celestia is checking the girls dorm right now she's on the second floor and heading to the third I tried calling Deidrick but he wouldn't answer he needs to get out of there before he gets caught and expelled" Spike explained hurriedly.

"Oh he was busy at the time thanks for the heads up Derpy said throwing down her phone but forgetting to end the call meaning Spike could hear everything that happened afterwards.

[Deidrick] what was that about?

[Derpy] Spike said principal Celestia is going through the building she already heading to this floor.

[Deidrick] Fucking seriously you know how hard it's gonna be to put my pants on with this.

[Derpy] just think about having sex with Spike

[Deidrick] where the fuck did that come from…oh god why did you say that it burns.

[Derpy] Cloudchaser apparently has this yaoi fantasy about you two it's pretty detailed…huh I don't think I ever seen it go down that fast.

[Deidrick] I don't even have a response to that.

[Celestia] Well would you mind opening the door I just want to make sure you're okay.

[Derpy] one second just let me get dressed….okay I'll push you.

[Deidrick] okay do it….wait…wait Damnit give me a second…hold on I'm not ready…wait …wait –wait-wait…Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

[Celestia] What was that it sounded like someone screaming.

[Derpy] just the T.V

[Celestia] huh I guess there really isn't anybody in here…well sorry for disturbing you.

At that point Spike decided to hang up knowing that Deidrick got away without getting caught.

The rest of the week and weekend was pretty boring for Spike most of the girls were busy with weekend projects and Deidrick went to visit his grandfather for the weekend. The following week was much more challenging for Spike as his mom called him back and laid out her plan of action to him which required a lot of prep work on his part. He had to figure out Rainbow's three sizes so he could have a dress fitted for her without her knowledge he had to get himself fitted for a suite make reservations for a few different things it took up most of his week and before he knew it Wednesday had rolled around.

"Someone's looking good" Deidrick said from the couch as Spike came down the stairs wearing a deep royal custom tailored suite with emerald green accents black shoes and a black tie.

"I hope this isn't going overboard" Spike said looking at himself in a mirror.

"Dude your good just go have some fun maybe if you wear her out enough she'll cancel practice tomorrow" Deidrick joked making Spike chuckle.

"Alright man I'll see you later" Spike said heading outside were a jet black escalade was waiting the driver was waiting outside the S.U.V.

"Good evening Mr. Von' Drake it's a pleasure to be serving you this afternoon.

"No I should be thanking you for your service Williams I'm sure you had better things to do" Spike said.

"Haha not really your mother still has your father in the dog house and they prefer to drive themselves so I actual have an abundance of free time" Williams answered.

"I see maybe I'll call on you more often than" Spike chuckled as he got into the back.

"That would help to relieve my boredom now where to young master" Williams asked.

"Just to the girls dorm I'm assuming this is the dress" Spike said peeking into a clothing bag.

"Yes indeed as well as matching heels" Williams answered.

"Wow they really went all out" Spike said admiring the quality of the dress.

"Well whenever someone knows they are working on a project for a Von' Drake they know that they are expected to turn out a flawless product" Williams answered. "Is that the girl your taking out"

Spike looked out the window to see Rainbow standing in the parking lot wearing jeans and a tank top.

"I'll say she is rather attractive but she's dressed rather simply" Williams noted.

"Well she has no idea I'm a Von' Drake I've just been going by Spike Drake and Deidrick doesn't even mention his last name…I'm sure she'll be surprise when I explain everything" Spike said opening the car door. "Hey Skittles how do I look"

"Geez Spike what did you do spend a year's allowance on this date" Rainbow asked. "I mean you look great you really do but you didn't have to go all out like this"

"It's nothing really trust me I had to stop my mom from trying to get me to take you to Paris on a private jet" Spike laughed. "Oh yeah I brought you something" Spike reached into the S.U.V pulling out the garment bag.

"What's this" Rainbow asked taking the bag.

"I know you're not big on girly things and this would probably be something more Rarity's style but I wanted to do something different so just trust me okay" Spike said pleadingly.

"Okay I'll trust you…just let me change really fast" Rainbow said walking back up to her room with the bag leaving Spike to wait for her return.

A few minutes later the sound of heels clicking against concrete got his attention and the sight before him made his jaw drop.

"You look absolutely gorgeous" Spike managed to get out. The blazing red dress hugged her curves showing off her slim but shapely figure accenting her toned ass a long slit ran up the seam allowing her slender legs to be shown off.

"Stop staring at me like that your making me feel uncomfortable" Rainbow said shyly.

"Sorry it's just that you really are breath taking" Spike said honestly making Rainbow blush.

"R-really" She asked nervously.

"Yes you really are" Spike smiled.

"Young master we should get going you don't want to be late for your dinner reservations" Williams said making the two teens break eye contact.

"Of course…right this way my lady" Spike grinned holding out his hand Rainbow accepted it allowing him to help her in the escalade.

"So I'm guessing your family is well off huh" Rainbow asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Yeah you could say that" Spike said sheepishly.

"Is there any reason you waited this long to show off" Rainbow grinned.

"I'll explain everything over dinner it's a pretty long story" Spike sighed.

"Okay but I want to know everything" Rainbow said crossing her arms. Spike nodded agreeing for the rest of the ride to two talked about sports, music and school just trying to make pleasant conversation until they arrived at the restaurant which turned out to a place called the 'Golden Apple'. Rainbow wasn't one to keep up with trends but she had heard Rarity talk about this place enough times to know that there was a month long list for you to make a reservation and another month of waiting before you could even hope to get a table.

"This place looks pretty fancy" Rainbow said as Williams got out the driver seat and opened the door for them.

"Yeah it dose hopefully the foods good" Spike said taking her hand he led her to the man checking for reservations at the front. As they approached the man looked up at them and sneered.

"Sorry children this isn't a fast food restaurant now run along"

"Haha I'm sorry you must be mistaken we have a reservation" Spike frowned not liking the man's tone.

"Of course you do" The man responded sarcastically.

"Look here you bast-" Rainbow was about to cuss the man out over his rude treatment but Spike squeezed her hand letting her know he had everything under control.

"Such a foul mouthed woman" the man scowled.

"If you want to keep your job I would suggest you watch your words…if you look I'm sure you'll find a party of two under the name Von' Drake we've reserved a table in the sky garden" Spike said not keeping the venom out of his voice. At the name Von' Drake the man paled taking a quick look at his book he saw in big bold letters [Von' Drake party of two one private table Sky garden] there was also a little not explaining that they were to be considered a V.I.P client and treated with the upmost respect. The man gulped as he quickly stammered out an apology to Spike.

"Please forgive sir I had no ide-"

"I don't need your apology but I believe you do owe my date one for calling her a foul mouthed woman" Spike growled. Rainbow crossed her arms looking at the man with a smug expression.

"Please I beg your forgiveness my lady, please allow me to show you to your table" The man offered.

"No thank you we'll find it ourselves" Rainbow huffed taking Spike offered arm as he lead them into the restaurant.

"Excuse me sir my I ask were you escort is" a man in a pure white suite asked coming up to them.

"If you mean that rude ass at the door we ditched him" Rainbow scowled.

"I'm sorry I don't really understand I'm the owner of the 'Golden Apple' if you would give me your name I'm sure we can work things out" the man said.

"Of course my name is Spike Von' Drake and the escort at the door very rudely insulted my lovely date which is why we are trying to find out table on our own" Spike explained. Rainbow watched as once again at the mention of his name the man paled a look of worry and fear crossed his face as he started to profusely apologize for his staff's actions and promised the man would be dealt with accordingly. Spike sighed as his bleeding heart wouldn't allow him to let someone get fired over something so trivial.

"It's okay I don't want him fired I lesson in manners would be more appropriate I just think at this point my beautiful date and I would like to sit at our table" Spike said Rainbow blushed as he had once again openly called her beautiful.

"Of course sir right this way" The man lead to two to an elevator that went up a few floors to a balcony that was much less crowded than the restaurant below only a few couples sat at tables obscured behind folding doors. The man led them to a booth that faced the lights of the city allowing them to sit next to each other and enjoy an amazing view of the city. "A server will be right with you please take your time to look at our menu" the man said before quickly departing.

"Wow this is amazing Rainbow said as she looked out over the city.

"I'm glad you like it I'm not sure how you would react to all this you know" Spike smiled.

"You know Spike I wasn't sure how I was either I mean you know I'm not a flashy uppity girly girl like Rarity and every date I've been on before this has always been to a pizza place or arcade you know not that I minded I like that sort of thing" Rainbow paused before looking Spike in his eyes and leaning forward capturing his lips. Unlike any other kissed they shared this one wasn't out of lust or playfulness it was from raw emotion Rainbow wanted him to understand just how she felt. "But I have to say it's nice to be treated like a lady for once…don't tell anyone I said that Rarity would never let me live it down" Rainbow said sheepishly.

"Don't worry it will be our little secret" Spike smiled capturing her lips in another kiss this time their fingers intertwined before someone cleared their throat loudly making them jump.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt" the young woman apologized.

"Ugh" Rainbow frowned making Spike chuckle.

"It's fine can you give us a second to look through the menu" Spike asked.

"Of course sir" the waitress said. Opening the menu Rainbow's jaw dropped at the prices they had something called a passion fruit blitz that 25 bucks seriously 25 dollars for a drink looking over at the food she felt like passing out nothing was under $100.

"Don't worry about prices, just get whatever you want" Spike smiled seeing Rainbow's trouble expression.

"You sure" Rainbow asked nervously.

"Trust me I'm sure" Spike said ordering his drink and meal.

"Okay in that case I'm not gonna hold back" Rainbow grinned ordering several things that looked yummy. "So anyway are you gonna tell me who you really are now or what" Rainbow asked.

"What do you mean I'm Spike just because my name change a little doesn't mean I'm a different person" Spike said.

"Are you sure because the way you talk your voice the way you act it seems a bit different now" Rainbow said poking his cheek.

"Sometimes I have to be that way especially if I'm going around using my family name I can't having anyone thinking the Von' Drake's are pushovers or my mom would kill me" Spike laughed.

"I guess that makes sense it's just a little weird seeing you have that take charge don't fuck with me attitude I thought that was more Deidrick's thing" Rainbow smirked.

"Haha you could say that but you'd be surprised Deidrick wasn't always like he is now" Spike to a moment to think about how things had been when they were just kids before everything changed. "Anyway this is pretty much just a front" Spike admitted.

"Good don't get me wrong in charge Spike is sexy but it's the cute and cocky Spike that really gets my panties wet" Rainbow said deviously.

"Oh really in that case let's hope you can make it through dinner without ruining your new dress" Spike grinned nibbling her ear.

"Well it's gonna be hard if you keep that up" Rainbow said pushing him away playfully.

"Haha sorry just teasing a bit" Spike smiled.

"So anyway I get your family is well known or rich or something but why hide who you really are to us I mean I get doing it at first but why keep up the lie this long you already know we all care about you so why keep lying especially to me" Rainbow asked her voice sounded hurt a little.

"It's a long and kind of fucked up story are you sure you want to hear it" Spike asked. Rainbow nodded Spike sighed as he was about to go over a point in his life that he hated to think about.

AN: Sorry to leave it on a cliffhanger like this but I realized that if I didn't break this up into two chapters this chapter would've been ridiculously long.
