Chapter 16: Mark of the Monkey Part 2

Regulus was going to bounce Luna and Torunka. "I hope this works ortherwise we're going to be cat food!" Luna said shutting her eyes.

The two Minus Staffs connected causing some shock waves and then breaking the log that Luna and her friends were crossing over.

They were dragged by the rivers flowing currents.

Back Leo's Duel with Devak. "Let's battle go Zeman the Ape King attack Power Tool Dragon!" Devak commanded. "Not so fast by sending my equip spell Draw Breaker to the graveyard my Dragon can't be destroyed in battle." Leo explained. "Maybe so but your life points are a different story." Devak said.

Leo: 2500

Leo covered his face thinking he get hurt from the damage but when he opened his eyes. Power Tool Dragon was blocking it. "Whoa my Dragon is shielding me from Devak's energy he's totally protecting me." He said.

"Talk about a close call." Trudge said. "Man I wish my sister was here." Leo said shutting his eyes. "Luna!

"This wasn't part of the plan." Torunka said. "Luna!" Leo screamed. "Hey that's sounds like Leo." Luna said. She turned around to face Regulus.

"Hey Regulus over here!" Luna called out raising her right arm. Regulus turned around and saw the mark of Crimson Dragon. "That mark she must be a Signer." He thought as

"Hey there's a waterfall!" Torunka said. "Uh oh Regulus help us!" Luna called out again.

he swam over to the kids but they fall over the waterfall.

Luna then flip the switch on Minus Staff causing them to fall upwards. "Going up." She said as she and her friends flew back.

Regulus then carried Luna and Torunka on his back to the shore. "Hey Regulus are you ok?" She asked the Lion.

"I'm okay thanks you cause that Minus curse it had me confused." The Lion replied as he got up turned around to face his friends. "Still deep down I knew you would come."

"Wait so you knew I would come to the Spirit World?" Luna asked. "Right Ancient Fairy Dragon said you would come to my aid but because of that minus curse I was starting to doubt it." Regulus explained.

"Well I'm here." Luna said smiling.

Meanwhile Leo was continuing his duel but he was breathing heavily. "Man Leo looks like he's gonna pass out." Cosmo said. "Hey Leo stay strong!" Trudge called out.

Leo turned his head around. "Hey Power Tool Dragon, are you okay?" Leo asked. The toy Dragon nodded. Leo smiled

"Hmph your Dragon can't save forever and these two face down cards will make you realize that." Devak smirked. "Well then I draw."

'I've got to take down Zeman the Ape King down."

"In that case I activate my Dragon's ability again I transfer a random Equip spell from my deck to my hand." Leo explained. Leo closed his eyes and then opened to see what card he drew.

"Great now I activate the equip spell Mega Morph which can double my Dragon's attack points!" Leo explained.

Leo looked at his Dragon's attack points but it's attack points were still: 2300

"What gives?" Leo asked.

"Fool it's true that Mega Morph can double a monsters attack points but since we both a the same exact life points your your equip spell won't work." Devak explained.

"No way that means oh man what I can do now!" Leo said started to panic. "I told a normal person like doesn't the skill to beat me." Devak laughed.

"Hey Leo stay strong you got all kind of great cards in your deck but if you start to panic and stop believe your cards they won't be able to help you meaning you got to believe in your cards just like believing yourself." Yusei said. "That's right Leo believe in your cards and yourself!" Cosmo called out.

Shadow walked up. "Leo if you're going be an even better duelist you're going to have to believe in yourself." He said smiling giving Leo a thumbs up.

"(My friends are right I must believe in myself and my cards.)" Leo thought. "I switch my Dragon into defense mode and end my turn."

"Fool you can't a win if you can't attack therefore you played right into my hands." Devak said.

Back in the Spirit World.

"So you're the one that was calling out to me?" Luna asked. "Right Ancient Fairy Dragon told me you'd come here though I've been struggling to battle the Ape King's minions I've been using the bit of my magic to guide you to me but due that Ape King's cures I was confused so please forgive me child." Regulus said putting his head down.

"Yeah we though you were going to eat us for lunch." Torunka said crossing his arms. "Come on don't be like Torunka we've got everything sorted out but still we're glad you didn't eat us Regulus." Luna said.

"Anyway Regulus how do we rescue Ancient Fairy Dragon?" Luna asked. "She's trapped in the mountain as part of Zeman's curse so we can to invade his castle, defeat him in epic battle, break the Minus spell and then the Spirit World should return to normal." Regulus explained. "We're ready for this let's go Torunka!" Luna said.

"Right let's go.' The young magician said.

They made their way to Zeman's castle.

At Zeman's castle. "Now my minions of madness bow before me.

"Our time is almost here soon the Duel Spirits will be ours to control so Sky, Land, Wind, Rain, and even Spirits of time you all belong to me now Zeman the Ape King the Great Conquer and everything that went forward will now go in reverse your world will be seize to be!" The Ape chanted.

Then a stream of light energy began to flow from the castle to the sky.

Luna and her friends continued to their way to the Ape King's castle. Regulus stopped. "Hey is something wrong?" Luna asked. "Look up there!" The Lion said. The two kids looked up and saw the sky was black.

Luna then noticed a Minus Staff in the moon. "Hey there's one of those staffs." She pointed. "What's going on?" Torunka asked. "It would seem that the Ape is reversing the flow of nature." Regulus answered. "Oh no we must stop Zeman!" Luna exclaimed.

She then noticed Torunka was short. "Hey that's weird the curse has made your clothes get bigger."

"No the curse is making me younger the curse is reversing the flow of time if this keeps up I'm going be a baby." Torunka said.

"We must hurry let's go." Regulus said. The three heroes continued their way.

Back in the real world.

"It's my turn so I draw." Devak said. "Now Zeman attack Power Tool Dragon!"

"Bring on my Equip spell will save my Dragon." Leo said. "I'm afraid not cause I'm activating the Roaring Earth trap card when a Beast type monster attacks a monsters in defense this card deals you the extra damage." Devak explained.

"Uh oh." Leo said.

Leo: 2000

"Wait by sending my Mega Morph equip spell to the graveyard I can save my Dragon from damage." Leo said. Suddenly his Dragon was fall apart.

"Hey what's gives?" Leo asked. "When the Roaring Earth Trap card is in play it weakens one of your monsters taking away 300 attack and defense points." Devak explained.

"It does what?" Leo asked.

Power Tool Dragon: Attack 2000 Defense 2200.

"Now I place this card face down and end my turn." Devak said. "How pathetic just your ridiculous monster you linger before me looking defeated and miserable."

Leo growled at Devak. and then looked at his Dragon but smiled. "(Hey Power Tool Dragon despite the damage you've taken you still got my back)"

"Look Devak no matter what you through at me I'll going to protect Luna!" Leo said. "(I just Leo can protect himself if not he and Luna are done for.)" Yusei thought.

Back the Spirit World Luna and her friends close Zeman's castle. "So that's the Ape King's castle but it looks well guarded." Luna said.

"Should we sneak through a window or something?" Torunak asked. "No we only have one shot so we can't risk of being captured."

"So what should we do?" Luna asked the Lion.

"We approach the front door and let them know we're here." The Lion said. The two kids were confused.

At the Zeman's castle he was told by one of his soldiers that Regulus was finally captured. "What Regulus has finally been caputured most excellent so tell whichever soldier captured Regulus to feast on the bananas his stomach can take." The Ape King said.

"Um my King it wasn't one of the Soldiers that capture Regulus." The Monkey said. "Well who was it then?" The king asked his minion.

"It was some sorta Wizard." The Minion replied.

"A wizard, then show him in." The King said.

The main doors opened. Luna was in disguise but luckily neither of the soldiers were suspicious.

Luna and Torunka approached the king."Oh Great Zeman it's honor my to at present." Luna said. "Speaking of presents we've brought you one." Torunka joked.

"Raise your heads." Zeman ordered. Luna and Torunka did. Luna stared at the big Gorilla. "(That's him.)" She thought. She then a cry and saw her monsters along with more Spirits on the walls of the castle.

"(Kuribon, Light Pixie, and Sunlight Unicorn.)" Luna thought. "( They'll all here with other Spirits that have been captured.)"

"Hmm I heard that you a wizard and from the look of you I say young one at that." Zeman said observing Luna. "How was it that you were able to capture Regulus?"

"With the power of this staff." Luna said. Zeman gasped. :Icky Ticky preicky ieny miney moo awaken!" Luna said pointing her staff which was Minus Staff but top of it was covered with sheet.

Regulus woke up and growl which startled the Monkeys. "Calm down!" Luna commanded. Regulus did and went to sleep.

'Hmm it would seem that you've cast a control spell on Regulus." Zeman said. "Right my master can use her staff to make any Spirit to do her bidding." Torunka explained.

"I don't believe it I've never heard of a spell that can control Duel Spirits."Zeman said. "Well since you're doubting my power maybe I can show more of it by turning your soldiers into a bunch of bananas." Luna said pointing her staff at the minions.

"Forgive me all that matters that you've brought Regulus so I'll seal him away forever." Zeman said. "You can't do that!" Luna called out. "What not?" The Ape king asked.

"If you do that then my spell on him will be broken therefore Regulus will be too powerful for me to subdue." Luna explained. "So what do you want me to do with him, watch him perform tricks?" Zeman asked. "First my powers told me that your goal is to put Fairy Dragon under Minus curse to absorb her power." Luna said. "So what if that is my goal." Zeman answered.

"Well Regulus is bowed to Ancient Fairy Dragon he's her loyal servant." Luna said. "I know that but I couldn't get the Minus Curse to work on her so I sealed her in the great mountain so if you know something I don't you've better talk." Zeman demanded.

"Very well then cause of their bond you can't cast the curse one without the other so you're have release the seal off of Ancient Fairy Dragon then act quickly to curse her and Regulus at the same time." Luan explained.

"So you're saying I should let Fairy Dragon free in order for the Minus Curse to work?" The Ape King asked. "Yes I'm afraid there's no other way." Luna said nodding.

The Ape King was silent for a few seconds. "So be it I'll do what you say."

Luna and Torunka sighed quietly. "Ancient Fairy Dragon appear before me!" Zeman ordered pointing his staff at the Mountain.

"(Hang on Fairy Dragon we're coming to save you or get petrified trying.)" Luna thought.
