Chapter 16: Mark of the Monkey Part 3
Devak: 2500
Leo: 2000
"Heh as soon I send you to the netherworld I'm coming after you sister." Devak said.
"That's only if you can beat me!" Leo answered drawing his card. "Plus if you forgot my Dragon's ability transfers a random Equip Spell from my deck to my hand."
"(Please let this be the card I need.)" Leo thought starting to get nervous. he looked at his card and it was the Equip Spell: Double Tools C&D. "(Great that Ape is history!)"
Meanwhile Luna and Torunka were waiting for Zeman to release the curse seal off of Fairy Dragon. "Do you think Zeman will fell for our final plan?" Luna asked whispering. "he will." Torunka whispered back. "(I hope he's right these wizards costumes might've got us into the castle but I'm not sure that this Minus Staff will reverse the curse off my Dragon.)" Luna thought.
"You've done well bringing me Regulus now my plan can be realized once the bonds of Ancient Fairy Dragon are removed I'll use the Minus Curse on her and Regulus to bring her powers under my control, correct?" Zeman asked. "Uh yep." Luna replied.
"I should hope so if you two kids are wrong I'll seal you both away eternity." The Ape King said. "Why so negative the plans gonna work it's practically Monkey proof so have a Banana already." Torunka joked.
"It's time Ancient Fairy Dragon with the power I posses I release you from your prison." Zeman said pointing his Minus Staff at the Great Mountain.
The two kids saw Fairy Dragon getting released. "It's working Zeman fell for it." Torunka whispered. "(Let's just hope the rest of our plan work.)" Luna thought. "Soldier bring me Regulus now." The Ape King ordered. The Monkey minion ran over to the cage and opened it.
"Oh great Regulus hear my words you've been summoned to this chamber thingy." Luna chanted. Regulus began to walk. "(Well done Luna now use the Minus Staff you stole from soldiers to reverse your Dragons curse like you did with me.)" The Lion thought.
"Alright I told we'd do it now my friends going to Regulus to complete.." Torunka stopped as he tripped on his cloak and took Luna down with him. As he got up the sheet that cover the Minus Staff they stole came off. "Oh this might look like one of yours but it's a funny it belongs to.." He was interrupted by Zeman. "Wizard what's the meaning of this?" He asked getting suspicious.
"Oh well we've might've stolen one of your soldiers staffs but it's like.." Torunka was stopped by again. "Hey quick stop him!" A Monkey yelled. "He can reverse the curse off of Fairy Dragon with that other staff he must be captured!" Another Monkey demanded. "Let's just calm.." Luna stopped as she tripped on her cloak. Her Cloaks fell off revealing themselves.
"Hey that's the girl we saw the city the one with Kuribon!" A Minion said pointing the Signer. "Oh well Torunka is wizard he's powerful." Luna said pointing at her friend.
"Oh really well let's see if he's powerful enough to help you escape grab them all!" Zeman commanded. The monkey soldiers charged but Regulus stepped in and the kids got on his back. "You're al going to regret toying with me now Ancient Fairy Dragon I bind you to thy rock." The Ape King chanted. The curse seal prisoned Luna's Dragon again.
"Oh man this my fault I'm clumsy old man!" Torunka screamed.
"Now what do we now Regulus?" Luna asked. "Get me your staff if I can get close enough to Zeman he will have to use his staff to stop me when both staff strike their power will cancel each other out and lift curse from everyone." The Lion explained. "Okay but if it doesn't work." Torunka said. "It has to work otherwise the Spirit World will be under Zeman's control." Regulus answered.
They agreed and Regulus locked the kids inside the cage and jammed so they'll be safe. "You think you're both safe, do you?" A Monkey said with another soldier by his side.
Back at the Duel
"Now I activate the Equip Spell Double Tools C&D which gives my Dragon an extra 1000 attack points!" Leo explained.
Power Tool Dragon: 3000
'All you did was match our monsters attack power." Devak said. "I was hoping for that now Power Tool Dragon attack!" Leo commanded.
Back in the Ape King's castle Regulus and Zeman used both of their Minus Staff which caused a power force.
Leo's Dragon continue it's attack on Zeman. "What a waste in effort, unless." Devak said. "That's right by sending my Dragon's Equip Spell to the graveyard he can't be destroyed." Leo explained.
Zeman and Regulus' Minus Staff collided again causing an explosion shock waves that destroyed Monkey soldiers. Luna then protected herself and Torunka by using her Signer powers.
"You may have destroyed me Regulus but not before I transfer all the power I have to the Dark Signer Devak!" Zeman explained as he vanished.
Power Tool Dragon defeated Zeman. "Good Devak's monster is done for.." Trudge was stopped by Yusei. "Leo's gotten into more trouble now." He said. This also got Shadow and Cosmo's attention.
"Ha ha ha ha." Devak laughed. "Hey what's so funny?" Leo asked. "Yes you see I've activated my Dark Matter trap which lets me summon two monsters in defense mode."
"In that case I play Equip Spell Power Converter." Leo said.
Back at Zeman's castle. Luna woke up and looked around for her friends then she heard a voice. "I'm here Luna it looks like our Lion friend was able to lift the curse after all and I'm back to normal. The voice was from old man. "Is that you Torunka?" Luna asked.
"See I told you I was an old man." Torunka laughed. "So does that mean everything is back to normal." Luna said. "I'm afraid that part of the curse still lives." Regulus answered. "What?" She asked.
Luna then noticed that her Spirit friends were still trapped within the walls of Zeman's castle. "Zeman transferred the last of his power to Devak unless he's defeated your Spirit friends are his prisoners." The Lion explained.
"My draw then." Devak said he looked at the card he and snickered. "I'll send my two ape monsters to summon my Earthbound Immortal."
"Not good!" Yusei exclaimed. "Not good at all!" Cosmo said agreeing with her friends words. The Immortals heart appeared. "Oh no I'm going to be taking away into that thing." Leo said shivering.
"Don't worry this card requires a different power source one that exist in the Spirit World." Devak explained. "By the power of the Dark Signers I summon Earthbound Immortal Cusillu!"
Back in the Spirit World Luna and her friends saw Devak's Mark of the Monkey. Then Spirit that were captured were being drawn to it.
"Oh my we've got to stop the Immortal now!" Torunka explained. "That is if these Earthbound Immortals can be stopped." Luna said.
Back at the Duel. Cusillu was summoned.
Earthbound Immortal Cusillu: 2800
"Man what's with this and the Monkey's?" Trudge asked. "You got it all I know is Leo's got find some way to tame that Beast." Yusei replied. "I have feeling it's going to get worse." Shadow muttered.
"Behold my Earthbound Immortal Cusillu there's nothing your Deck that can stop it you see it's immune to any Attacks, Spells, and Traps you try to throw it's way." Devak explained. 'Just my luck." Leo muttered.
"Don't forget my Closed Forest Field spell thanks it's power my Immortal get an extra one attacks for every monster that's in my graveyard."
Earthbound Immortal Cusillu: 3600
"Now you'll think twice about taking your sister's place in duel." Devak said. "Now Earthbound Immortal Cusillu attack Leo directly!"
"Oh no Leo do something!" Cosmo cried. "Oh I'll do something like this by sending my Dragon's Power Converter Equip Spell to graveyard it's attack points are transferred to my life points." Leo explained.
Leo" 4000
"Though my Dragon's attack become zero it will help me stay in the Duel." Leo said as he ran to take cover.
Leo: 400
"Luna if you're out there I need your advice so please help me." Leo whispered. Luna heard her brothers words but then she and her two Spirit friends were being sucked into the Immortal. "Listen Luna I have enough strength to send you to your own world so please you must defeat Devak." Torunka said.
"He's right my little warrior if you fail all is lost." Regulus said. "I will defeat Devak I promise." Luna said as she disappeared.
She then appeared in front of Leo which caught everyone attention. "Hey Leo are you alright?" She asked. "Yes but I've let you down sis I couldn't even won a little match just look at me I'm person that can do anything." Leo said sadly. "No you're my hero as my brother." Luna said embracing him.
"Oh not so tight please." Leo said.
"Heh heh heh I'm glad you've decided to join us Luna so let's duel Signer." Devak said. 'Oh I'll duel you and when I'm done with you, you'll never wished you've never messed with my Spirit friends." Luna said with serious look. Devak smirked.
"Don't worry Leo I promise I'll be fine after all I've got your Card Deck so it's like we're Dueling together." Luna said smiling. "I guess but be careful as long he's got this field spell in play that Immortal practically invisible." Leo said.
"Luna!" Yusei called out. "Yusei I'll be okay." Luna answered knowing what her friend was going to say. "Be safe." Yusei said quietly.
Then he noticed his Dragon mark is glowing. Aki noticed her mark was glowing. "Your mark is glowing sis." Miles said.
Jack noticed his mark was glowing as well. "Luna must be back in the game I just hope she's in for." Jack said.
"I got Power Tool Dragon on my field and you've giant turkey day on yours." Luna mocked. "Glad you can make jokes at a time like this it's no fun with someone whose lost hope and speaking of someone who has lost hope it's time I reintroduce you to an old friend of yours." Devak explained.
"First I play the Curse Prison trap which lets me summon a Synchro Monster of my choosing and just so happens to be the one you failed to save while you were in the Spirit World." Devak explained showing Ancient Fairy Dragon. Luna gasped in shock.
Ancient Fairy Dragon was a prison cage. "Hey what did you do to her Devak she's not just some stray Dog you can lock up in a cage." Luna spat.
"That's what she is wild animal and if she's doesn't behave I'll tear her card in half." Devak said. "Argh I draw and I activate my Power Tool Dragon's ability again which sends me Equip Spell to my hand." Luna said looking at her card.
"Hmm I play the Central Shield Equip Spell!" Luna exclaimed. "Oh yeah I forgot I had that card even though it won't stop Devak's Monkey from attacking at least she's keeping you safe so don't you worry Power Tool Dragon cause Luna will protect you." Leo said. "(I just hope I don't let us down)" She thought. "I end my turn with two face down cards."
"Hah a shield and couple face downs don't exactly lead us Dark Signers to tremble in fear if that's all you can do then the Crimson Dragon made a grave mistake choosing you as a Signer." Devak mocked. "I draw and now my Immortal send this pathetic Signer to the netherworld!"
"Now so fast I play the Quick Spell Limiter Removal which doubles my Dragon's attack points." Luna explained.
"How dare you!" Devak growled.
Devak: 2100
"That's it I send your Fairy Dragon to graveyard." Devak proclaimed. "Since I did you lose half your life points.
Luna: 200
"Thanks cause you send Ancient Fairy Dragon to the graveyard I can play this Respect Synchron which revives her and place her on my field." Luna explained.
"No this can't not be!" Devak yelled.
Ancient Fairy Dragon: Attack 2100
"Ancient Fairy Dragon I've kept my promise." Luna said smiling. "Thank you Luna now we can do our part to restore peace to the Spirit World." The girl Dragon said smiling.
"Well She's beautiful." Trudge said. "You think?" Cosmo said giggling. "Yeah pretty for a you know a Dragon." Trudge said realizing he called a Dragon beautiful. "True but pretty doesn't win duels I'm afraid." Yusei muttered.
Shadow smiled a bit at Trudge's words about Fairy Dragon being called pretty.
"Normally the Limiter Removal would destroy my Tool Dragon but by sending Central Shield to the graveyard Power Tool Dragon will be sticking around." Luna explained.
"Very clever but let's see you both take out my Earthbound Immortal Cusillu." Devak said. "Let's draw together Leo." Luna said a her brother nodded. "First we activate our Fairy Dragon's ability which destroys any Field Spell like your Closed Forest and gives us 1000 points boost." Luna explained.
"What no way!" Devak said as his Closed Forest card was destroyed.
Luna: 1200
Earthbound Immortal Cusillu: 2800
"Alright with that Field Spell gone that Monkey doesn't have any special abilities." Yusei explained. "Great Luna and Leo are doing well." Cosmo said. "Devak's is done for." Trudge said smiling.
"Indeed." Shadow said smiling a bit.
"Now I add another Equip Spell to my hand thanks to Power Tool Dragon's effect." Luna said. "Now I equip Power Tool Dragon Rocket Pilder and Fairy Dragon with Pain to Power." Luna said. "Now Power Tool Dragon attack Cusillu!" Luna commanded.
Power Tool Dragon flew towards the Monkey and cause an explosion.
Luna: 400
"What did I tell you all you did was destroy Power Tool Dragon and hurt yourselves." Devak said. "Try reading the card!" Leo spat. "Yeah Power Tool Dragon can't be destroyed as long he's equip with Rocket Pilder and that's not cards only bonus your Immortal loses it's attacks equal to our Tool Dragon's attack points.
Earthbound Immortal Cusillu: 800
"No you can't!" Devak screamed.
"I'm afraid we can and we did then my Fairy's Dragon Equip Spell kicks in the life points I lost gets transferred to her attacks points.
Ancient Fairy Dragon: 2900
"Now Ancient Fairy Dragon destroy Devak's Immortal Cusiilu!" Luna commanded.
Fairy Dragon let out bright light.
The light was so bright that everyone covered their eyes with their hands except for Luna.
