Chapter Eight
"Ok, Ms. Rose," Dr. Swanson began, looking over the wound she recieved hours before. "Your free to go."
"Thank you." Amy said, and left the room. She quickly looked at her prescription, and noticed it was "Tylenol with Coadine", a prescription pain killer. She entered the waiting area where everyone was waiting. Sonic was the first to see her.
"Amy!" Sonic said, getting up from his seat. "How is it?"
"It's fine." Amy said. Sonic looked at Amy's face, and saw the anger and confusion in her.
"I have a question." Both Sonic and Amy woke from their silence, and looked at Knuckles. "What do you know about the black emerald?"
"Your better off not knowing." Amy said, and bolted for the door. Everyone watched in fear. Everyone except Hurricane Victoria, who was concerned. For the longest time, Amy thought the worst of Violet. Now that they knew she was alive, how this was gonna play out.
"Come on," Hurricane began. "I'll explain, but not here."
"I'll go check on Amy." Sonic said, and ran out of the ER waiting room.
"Let's go to my place." Chris offered. Hurricane nodded in agreement.

"Alright, spill." Knuckles demanded once everyone had satten down. "What do you know about the black emerald."
"Knuckles, calm down." Rouge said, placing her hand on his thigh.
"The black emerald is also known as the 8th chaos emerald." Hurricane said. "The darkest, yet powerful one out of all of them. It can consume the host/hostess in an instant."
"How do you know that?" Tails asked. Hurricane starred at the floor.
"It's happened before, while we were training with Shadow...

The wind was howling, as Jennifer, Jana, Hurricane Victoria and Shadow, looked to the sky in horror. Before them was Amy, yet it wasn't her. She had silver fur, saphire blue eyes, and the surface of a gem in the middle of her breasts, above her heart.
"I finally have claim of this body..." She had a british accent. "It took time, but I finally have her where I want her..." She held out her hand, and summoned her weapon. A double sided glave, with a handle bar inbetween them, with a dark, blue aura surrounding her.
"I gotta go in..." Hurricane said.
"She'll kill you!" Jana said.
"We gotta try something." Hurricane snapped. Hurricane looked to Shadow, who nodded his head in agreement.
"I can get you into her mind." Shadow said, and pulled out a chaos emerald.
"CHAOS CONTROL, NOW!" With a flash of light, Hurricane was gone.
Amy was surrounded by darkness, and was being thrown everywhere. She was covered head to toe with bruises. She was trying to get herself up, when a hand grabbed her by the hair, and pulled up. She looked at her attacker.
It was Sonic.
"Come on, Amy..." Sonic said. "Isn't this what you wanted? My undivied attention?"
"...Your not Sonic..." Amy mumbled. Sonic got upset, so he threw her, and was about to lay on top of her...
"WHO ARE YOU?!" Sonic hollered. Amy looked up to see Hurricane standing inbetween them.
"Hurricane, how did you-?"
"I have my ways. Shadow should be here, soon." Hurricane comforted.
"So..." Sonic began. "...Your a half breed. You have quite the talent."
"So..." Hurricane began. "... Your the black emerald, huh."
"Stay out of this, half breed." Sonic growled. "This is none of your affair."
"It is, now!" Hurricane snapped, and held out her left arm. All of a sudden, her arm began to glow, and form into a blade, with lightning surrounding it. "DEMON BLADE!" Sonic took a step back, in shock.
"How..." Sonic asked.
"SHADOW!" Hurricane hollered. "NOW!"
Shadow was infront of the possessed body, with an aura in his hand.
"I don't like the look of things, here." Jennifer said.
"Me neither." Jana said.
"CHAOS CONTROL!" Shadow hollered, and placed his hand over the black emerald. At that moment, black streaks of energy came gushihg out the chest, and the body began to scream in pain.
"NOT AGAIN!" The body screamed. Hurricane's body laid on the ground, when all of a sudden she woke up.
"Amy!" Hurricane screamed. All three girls watched the body lose control. The fur color went from silver to pink, and her eyes from saphire blue to emerald green. Amy regained control of her body, but she was too weak to stay awake. She closed her eyes, and was about to fall onto the ground below her, when Shadow caught her, and held her bridal style. Shadow lowered himself, with Amy in toe, and gently placed his feet onto the ground.
"Hurricane!" Shadow said.
"Shadow." Hurricane said, getting up on her feet.
"See to it that Amy gets immediate medical attention." Shadow demanded.
"Right." Hurricane said, taking Amy into her arms, and heading for the manor.
"What was that?" Jana asked. Shadow watched Hurricane walk off wih Amy.
"I have never seen anything like that, before,..." Shadow began, but lost his trail of thought.
"Is Amy gonna be ok?" Jennifer asked.
"Amy is, from now on, forbidden to use that emerald." Shadow declared. "It's too fucking dangerous."

Sonic sat next to Amy in disbelief. The black emerald really took control of her body, and made Amy's mental state suffer that much? Amy looked at the water from the cliff they were sitting on. She was ready to burst into tears.
"That's why Shadow has me under constant suppervision." Amy said. "I have been told that there is a way to remove the black emerald without killing me."
"Which is?" Sonic asked. If he could remove it from Amy's body, he will.
"You have to be of royal birth and pure of sin." Amy said.
"Pure of sin?" Sonic asked.
"Yeah." Amy said. Crap. So much for that idea.
"Is there another way?" Sonic asked. Amy shook her head 'no'.
"This is the curse of the royal Amadia Clan." Amy said. "No way around it." Amy got up to her feet. Sonic followed.
"Amy, I..." Sonic began, grabbing Amy by the arm, gently, and keeping her where she was at the moment. They both looked at each other. No one said a word. Both of them didn't know what to do. All of a sudden, Sonic slowly closed his eyes, and slowly placed his lips upon hers. Amy closed her eyes and returned the gesture. There were only butterfly kisses at first, but then, it began a massive tongue war, and Sonic's arms wrapped around Amy's figure, and his hands began to wonder. One hand snuck up Amy's shirt, and began to search for a breast.
'!' Amy pulled away, and realized what had happened.
"I..." Amy began. Sonic was disgusted with himself, as well. What was he thinking! "I can't do this."
"Why?" Sonic asked.
"Shadow said love is for the weak." Amy said, and took off, heading for town. Sonic stood there, and was shocked to hear what she said.
'Amy...' Sonic thougt. 'What happened to you?'
Here is chapter 8! Sorry it took so long. I just finished the series "Naruto", and I am going in to be tested for cancer. Fingers crossed that all results come back negative, and I will get Chapter 9 up.
