Chapter 22: A Score to Settle Part 2
"Come on Yusei we're just getting started if you think my attack was something wait till you see what's coming next." Kalin said. "Archfiend it's going to finish Max Warrior with .."
He stopped talking when he said monsters attack reduced.
Infernity Archfiend: Attack 1800-800
"Hey what's happening to my monsters attack points where'd they go?" Kalin asked. "They disappeared with my Ghost Gardna you see when it's destroyed one of your monsters attack points is lowered by 1000 points but hey don't let that stop you from attacking." Yusei said.
"I end my turn!" Kalin proclaimed remembering that Max Warrior attack points were still a bit higher.
"Its my move then." Yusei said drawing his card. "I summon Junk Synchron!"
Junk Synchron: Attack 1300
"Next I tune it with my Speed Warrior in order to Synchro Summon Junk Warrior!" Yusei exclaimed. "Let's rave it up."
Junk Warrior: Attack 2300
"Next I attack the trap Synchro Striker Unit which equips to Junk Warrior and increases it's attack points by 1000."
Junk Warrior: 3300
"Time to battle Max Warrior destroy Infernity Archfiend!" Yusei commanded. The Warrior then charged for the Fiend.
"What's this is it gaining more points?" Kalin asked. "Yes Kalin see when Max Warrior attacks it gains 400 attacks points." Yusei explained.
Max Warrior: Attack 2200
"Now Swift Rush!" Yusei commanded. "Sorry Yusei but I trigger the trap Infernity Force now since you attacked an Infernity monster and I have no cards in my hand Archfiend can deflect your attack and obliterate your monster." Kalin explained.
"Not only that I can use this trap cards power to summon a weaker Infernity monster from my graveyard I choose Infernity Necromancer."
Infernity Necromancer: Defense 2000
"Not bad Kalin but let's you see stop Junk Warrior from attacking your Dragon." Yusei said as his Warrior fired a ball of energy at Hundred Eyes Dragon and destroying it.
Kalin: 3700
"Woohoo!" Leo cheered. "Alright Yusei." Cosmo said. "Not bad." Shadow said with grin. "Atta boy Yusei taking out Kalin's dragon." Trudge said. "Yeah." Luna said. Crow then noticed Kalin face. "Hey why is Kalin laughing?"
"Thanks Yusei cause you destroyed my Dragon it's special ability lets me select any card from my deck send it to my hand and you might remember this monster." Kalin explained.
"(I knew it Hundred Eyes Dragon was just a setup.)" Yusei thought. "(I better built a defense and fast.)"
"I place two cards facedown and since it's my turns end phase Junk Warrior loses 800 attack points." Yusei said.
Junk Warrior: Attack 2500
"Ha ha ha ha!" Kalin laughed manically as he showed Yusei the card he's got from his Dragon's effect. "If that's what I think it I'm in big trouble." Yusei said looking worried.
"(Come on Yusei don't lose sight of what you came here to do I know Kalin is old friend and I know we all got history but you're here to defeat him not to save you've already tried that.)" Crow thought.
flashback scene.
Yusei and his friends were still in the building and outside were Sector Security officers. "We only what your leader give him up and rest of you are free to go." The chief called out.
"Not chance!" Kalin said. He then turned around and saw his friends putting their Duel Disks on a old table. "What are you guys doing, are you giving up if we surrender then it's all been for nothing let's get out there and fight." Kalin yelled.
"Get real and wake up!" Jack spat. "This revolution of ours has gone way to far man." Crow said. "He's right." Cosmo said. "Wait are you all serious?" Kalin asked. "Kalin look we can still escape out back." Yusei said.
"Escape, no way I'm sick of running from these guys let's end this here let's kick them out of Satellite for good, don't you see this is our big moment right here" Kalin said. "Right nothing our big moments not coming." Jack spat again. "Guys come on." Kalin said. "Things weren't supposed go this far so let's go while we still have the chance." Yusei said.
Kalin backed away. "This can't be happening we can't give up." Suddenly there was explosions. "Guys we need to get out of here and fast." Yusei said. The chief was tired of waiting therefore he told a few of his men to find Yusei and his friends.
a short time later the Enforcers and Team Heroes got separated. Kalin was left behind and came to dead end and then he turned around. A Security officer was behind on a Runner with smirk on his face.
"If I'm going down then I'm going down fighting let's duel I draw and summon Vorse Raider in attack mode." Kalin said. "You don't know when you're beating do you, fine then I summon Montage Dragon!" The officer proclaimed as the three headed Dragon flew right into Vorse Raider and destroyed it. "you're finished.' The officer said as he drove towards Kalin.
Kalin then noticed a ladder on the wall, jumped to grab the bars, then he jumped on the agent and they both began struggle which caused the Duel Runner to go out of control. Yusei saw this ran after them.
Kalin and the officer crashed into a wall and were thrown off but Kalin was conscious and was about to hurt the officer when Yusei charged into him and pushing Kalin the ground.
Then later Crow, Jack, Cosmo, Miles, and Shadow found them and were hiding in an abandon house. Jack and Crow got a hold of Kalin with both of his arms. "Yusei it's only a matter of time when Sector Security find us." Shadow said. "He's right Yusei, now what?" Miles asked.
Yusei then had idea "You guys stay here.
Yusei found the Sector Security and approached them. The officers noticed and drove to him. "I'm the leader of the Enforcers I'm the one that's be organizing and planning the attacks you said that if I turn myself in the others can go free well here I am." Yusei said. Then he saw his friends Miles, Cosmo, Shadow, Jack, and Crow who were caught by several agents.
"We did say we want the leader but we already know who it is." The Chief said. Yusei looked closely an entrance to the abandon house and out came two officers who were taking Kalin.
"Oh no Kalin you're wrong I'm the one in charge." Yusei said. "Do you think we're stupid you can't fool us." The chief said as two more officers took the injured officer on medical wagon."
"But that's cute that you're trying to take the fall and protect your friend." The chief said laughing and putting his hand on Yusei's shoulder. Kalin turned around saw the chief pat Yusei's shoulder and became furious.
"How could you!" He yelled angrily. Yusei stood back. "Yusei you snitch how could you sell out your best friend like this?" Kalin asked as two officers got ahold of his arms. Yusei then realized Kalin must've saw the Chief pat his shoulder. "You're wrong Kalin I.." Yusei said.
Kalin was then was thrown into the Sector Security wagon. "Mark my words you'll pay traitor!"
"Kalin...I'm sorry!" Yusei yelled.
end of flashback.
"Things were getting out of hand the rides and the fighting had to stop you had to stop!" Yusei said. "Kalin was I trying to help you I was trying to save you!"
"You think I believe you, you sold me out man!" Kalin spat. "Not true Yusei was trying to surrender to Sector Security in your place." Crow explained. "Nobody should've surrendered we should've stood up to them together but you all back down you let Sector Security take over Satellite."
"So as far as I'm considered you all betrayed me!" Kalin yelled. "I wanted to help you." Yusei said. "Really if you all cared so much me especially you Yusei, why didn't you come to visit me at the facility?" Kalin asked.
"We all tried to visit you plenty of times but everytime we did Security turned us away." Cosmo explained. "Man I can't imagine what they did to you Kalin." Crow said shutting his eyes.
"Of course you don't friend I couldn't handle the insults but then Security took my deck from me that deck was my life!" Kalin said growling.
Flashback.
Kalin was alone in his cell and then he heard a voice which seemed to be man's voice.
"I am a messenger beyond the twilight I can grant you the power like you never known all you have to do is accept the mark of a Dark Signer and then you'll be free and unstoppable then you'll duel again and then you'll be able to get your revenge on those you opposed you." The voice explained.
"Good but I only want revenge on one person." Kalin said slowly.

"I gave myself to the shadows to enjoy this one moment the moment where I get to make you feel the pain and terror you made me feel when you turned your back on me Yusei now I draw." Kalin said.
I release my two archfiends in order summon Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu!"
Immortal emerged from the ground causing the gang to jump except for Shadow. "Whoa that's really huge!" Trudge exclaimed.
"Gee you think?" Crow asked.
"That's putting it likely." Leo said.
"With that guy out.." Yuesi started to say.
"It's the end of the line and man I've been waiting for to this: Ccapac Apu send Yusei to the Netherworld!" Kalin commanded.
"(The last time he summoned that Earthbound Immortal my Duel Runner's wheel broke before it attacked me thus ending the duel but that's not going to happen this time I'm bringing that Immortal down to earth.)" Yusei thought.
"I activated my trap Baton of the Hero with this in play I choose the target of your monster's attack." Yusei explained.
"That means.." Kalin was about say.
"Your Immortal is attacking Junk Warrior!" Yusei finished.
Yusei: 2400
"Wait a throw your monster as a shield Yusei but this attack isn't over not yet you see when your monster gets destroyed you take damage to equal to your monster's attack points." Kalin explained.
"Oh no!: Cosmo said.
"Yeah Yusei's Junk packed with so much power if he doesn't do something he's done." Crow said. "Come on Yusei!" Luna said.
"I activate the trap Burst Synchro Summon so my life points are safe and there's more I can summon a monster whose attacks points are equal of same amount of damage I would've taken." Yusei explained.
"Does Yusei even have monster that powerful?" Leo asked. "Only Stardust Dragon." Luna answered. "Alright!" Crow cheered.
Stardust Dragon: 2500
"So you managed to summon your favorite monster, do you think it's going to make difference?" Kalin asked as he placed facedown card.
"Time find out I draw!" Yusei
"Not so fast I activate the Brilliant Shrine Art now when you attack your monsters have to face my Earthbound Immortal." Kalin explained.
"In that case I activate the Speed Spell Angel Baton now I can draw two more cards and send one card to the graveyard."
"The card I'm sending is Stardust Xiaolong and cause Stardust Dragon is on the field Xiaolong can be special summoned to the field." Yusei explained.
Stardust Xiaolong: Attack 100
"Next I place a face down and end my turn." Yusei said.
"This is getting good Yusei!" Kalin said drawing a card.
"You got that cause I activate the trap Superior Protector with this in play I can only take battle damage if Stardust Dragon battles." Yusei explained.
"All you've done is make your Dragon a target so now all I need to do is crush it so I can crush you!" Kalin said as the Immortal began to move it's large hand towards Stardust Dragon.
"Now you and your dragon are going get sent to the Netherworld!" Kalin cackled.
"Not if I send Superior Protector to protect us." Yusei said as the trap card created a barrier around Stardust Dragon.
"Nice but you'll still taking damage and thanks to my Wicked Trample card when you take damage other that direct attack that damage is doubled." Kalin explained.
"What?" Yusei gasped.
Yusei: 2400
Then the ground began to shake after Kalin's Immortal attack. "Kalin, what going on?" Yusei asked. "I don't know." Kalin said.
"Take my hand!"
Kalin turned to face Yusei. Kalin was surprised and how it reminded how he saved Yusei from falling off an old building.
"Kalin I thought if I take heap then you would turn around but I get it now you and I are friend I should've stood by you and try help." Yusei explained with his hand out.
"Come on buddy!" Crow said. "Oh Yusei." Luna whispered. Then female twin noticed her mark was glowing. Jack noticed his mark glowing too.
Aki realized this too. "I can feel us all drawing together."
"Jack, Crow, Shadow, Miles, and Cosmo feeling same way Kalin, we're all fighting for something that we believe in but I'm fighting to defeat you please you have to believe I'm trying to save you from the Dark Signers."
Kalin was astonished.
Then Yusei noticed a card was glowing on top of his deck. "I draw.
"I summon Majestic Dragon."
Majestic Dragon: Attack 0
"Next I tune Majestic Dragon with Stardust Dragon and Stardust Xiaolong in order to Synchro Summon Majestic Star Dragon."
Majestic Star Dragon: Attack 3800
"I activate it's special ability it negate your Immortal ability and transfer that ability to my dragon." Yusei explained.
"Now my dragon attacks your Immortal!"
Star Dragon then flew towards the immortal giant with great force and destroyed it.
Kalin: 2900
"Now remember when your Immortal's ability was transferred to my Dragon now you take damage equal to your Immortal attack points." Yusei explained.
Kalin: 0
Yusei rode towards his Kalin. Kalin opened his eyes a bit but he was started to disappear. "Yusei stop beating yourself for what happened I'm the one that really messed things up and please tell the others I'm sorry." Kalin said.
"I'm sure they know you are." Yusei said getting teary eyed. "Stay strong for us and don't lose to the Dark Signers." Kalin said as he disappeared.
"The Dark Signer came to you when you were hurt and took advantage of your pain but I'll beat the Dark Signers!" Yusei yelled as the Majestic Star Dragon flew away.
