Chapter 29: Doom and Descendants Part 1
Yusei and the others were gazing in the sky where a Condor Geoglyph was. "What on earth is that, Yusei?" Akiza asked the new champion. "I don't know but it looks like a Dark Signer Markings." The young Satellite replied.
Just then a voice rang out. "Hey Yusei look who I found!" It was Crow who was driving alongside Jack.
"Hey its Crow and Jack!" Cosmo said happily. "We got here just in time too." Jack said. "So you're Akiza." Crow said looking at the red head woman. Jack then noticed Miles was grieving. "Hey what's with your brother Akiza?" The ex-champion asked. "Never mind that, what's with that light over there?" Crow asked his friends and looking at where the light was above.
Suddenly the ground began to shake. "An Earthquake!" Trudge screamed. "Maybe but maybe not." Yusei said looking back where the light was coming from which was glowing with mult-colored light. "Now what?" Jack asked. "Wait I know that area." Crow said. "I'm afraid I do too that's where the first Ener-D Reactor and I have a hunch that the portal to the Netherworld has finally opened. "Yusei added.
The champion was right the area was struck by various of thunderbolts and dark filthy liquid make its way out of the hold in the crater revealing two glowing red eyes which formed into an ugly dragon and it was heading towards the Condor lines. "Didn't Roman say that if we didn't manage to seal the towers the portal would open and the King of the Netherworld will raise?" Crow asked. "Yes and it seems to be heading for the Geoglyph." Yusei said. "I'm going to arrest that creature but I'm off duty." Trudge said. "Maybe we don't bug it he won't bother us." Mina asked. "Yeah maybe." Leo said trembling.
Then Luna then grabbed in her right arm in pain and then heard Kuribon. "Hey what's wrong?" She asked the Duel Spirit. "chirp chirp." The furry ball creature said. "Uh oh Kuribon says if we don't stop that creature going to that Condar Mark then a lot of bad things will happen." Luna explained. "What kind of bad things?" Shadow asked.
The dark liquid Dragon made its way towads the condor mark. "Oh, the very bad kind." Luna replied. "Ok we got to stop it." Leo said. "Yeah but the question is how." Slippy said. Yusei gritted on the question but then he noticed that his mark was glowing and so did the others. "Our marks." Luna said.
Then a red bright light appeared in the sky and big red dragon appeared too. "That's the..." Jack began to say. "Crimson Dragon." Miles finished.
The Crimson Dragon send a blast of light at the Signers and their companions. They shut their eyes but opened when they realized that they were flying. "Are we inside the Dragon?" Akiza asked. "It seems so and its taking us somewhere we need to be now." Miles said.
Just then four shadow figures appeared. "Who are they?" Jack asked quietly. "More like what are they?" Crow asked. "We don't have much time but we need to tell something that your friends Miles, Cosmo, Shadow and Slippy are Desandants of the people who served people of the Stars who asked the Crimson Dragon for help." The second shadow figure said which seemed to have a female voice. Yusei and the others gasped. "What do you four mean by Desandants?" Trudge asked.
Just then the bright light appeared and they found themselves at Goodwin Mansion. "Hey this where Goodwin has that temple underneath his mansion." Jack said. "It sure is." Yusei said. "Ok but what did those people mean that Miles, Cosmo, Shadow, and Slippy are Desandants of the who served the People of the Stars." Akiza asked. "After Goodwin shown me the shrine of Yliaster and telling me about the People of the Stars, he then told me the People of the Stars that asked the Crimson Dragon were served by ancient people from different worlds help them prepare and shared new fighting skills." Jack explained. "But that was 5000 years ago." Mina said. Slippy remembered something and took out his crystal pendant. "I remember this activated when Sayer was going to hurt me with his spell card Hinotama." He said. "This created a barrier that protected me."
"I remember when I dueled Misty alongside Akiza I heard my dark side talk to me but another voice was talking to me which the voice was a female." Miles added. "What else did this female voice say?" Yusei asked. "She told me not to give in to my anger and then finally she called me her son."
Shadow and Cosmo took out their new dueling Decks. "These decks were giving us by Yusei's father." Cosmo said. "We're not sure why he gave us these new decks." Shadow said. "Let alone how he got these decks."
"Someone must've gave him these decks and in trusted him to give those decks to you both." Yusei said. "Anyway this Condor must be where the creature was heading." Akiza said. "But what for?" Leo asked. "I don't know." Yusei said.
just then a voice rang out. "In that case allow me to explain, for you see even though you all managed to defeat the Dark Signers however not in time to seal all the doors to the Netherworld." Then Goodwin came out of the stairway. "Does this mean the world is going to end?" Yusei asked. "What is this Condor Sign here?"
"For the ritual." Goowind replied. "What?" Yusei said. Goodwin then looked at the direction where King of the Netherworld was coming. "The ritual that has been carried out at this temple for many millennia." Goodwin explained. "What happens at this ritual?" Shadow asked. "It all depends but this time its something that has never happened to before." Goodwin added.
"So spill." Yusei said. "So eager but I going to have to start from the beginning." Goodwin said as he took out a capsule and then the Signers marks glowed feeling the pain throught their marks. "What is that?" Luna asked. "Starts with this." Goodwin said. "Wait is that the final mark?" Jack asked. "It sure is but what does he have?" Shadow asked. "I want to use it." Goodwin said.
a flashback scene during the fortune Cup and on the day Yusei defeated Greiger.
"Why do you think I had that metal arm for?" Goodwin asked.

"What's one have to do that have to do with the other?" Jack asked. "You fool, I had to construct, so I would have a conduit, so to speak." Goodwin answered as he put the capsule down. "Just what are you planning?" Yusei asked. "Before I answer that I realized that Miles, Cosmo, Shadow, and Slippy are Descendants of the people who served the People of the Stars." Goodwin said. "Its amazes me that the people of the Stars got help from some other ancient people from other worlds and how they were able to sent their kids to help you Signers." He added with a grin. "Do you know how they sent us here from their time in 5000 years ago?" Slippy asked. "No but I have no doubt that your parents knew that the Signers would need all help they can get." Goodwin explained. "What were our parents like cause I have a power but its not from the power of the Crimson Dragon?" Miles asked. "Yeah I've had this crystal pendant with me when I was found as a baby." Slippy said showing his pendant to the director. "Shadow and I don't have anything about our past but we did get new dueling decks from your boss." Cosmo added. "My boss, you mean Dr Fudo?" Goodwin asked.
"Let me explain first you Miles your name is really Milo Tyler Fox and your parents are from another galaxy."
The gang gasped. "Does that mean I'm alien?" Miles asked pointing at himself. "That's half true but your parents and their people were half alien humans, they and their people were powerful warriors plus they offered to show their fighting skills and knowledge like how the People of the Stars would need to survive and gave them hope that in the future would be bright."
"You Slippy your real name is Triton and your parents lived in the ocean where a lost city known as Atlantis City, within the city was a big crystal unlike the one you have was just a small piece and the big crystal was called: The Heart of the Atlantis that was so powerful that it was too much for them to use in a war so they offered a few their crystals to the People the of Stars to help the battle against the demon's evil ghouls which protected them from magic." Goodwin explained. Slippy was shocked.
"Shadow and Cosmo your names are the same but your parents were people that came from another dimension who had powers of the wind and magic like Sorcerers. First your father was Emperor of Magic and second your mother was the Empress of the Wind they were rivals but then they put their differences aside and became as one with each other along with their people.
"Do you have any theories on how we ended here?" Milo asked. "I'm not so sure." The Director replied shaking his head slowly.
Goodwin then revealed a Dark Signer Mark on his back the gang gasped at what they saw. "Another mark but that means..." Yuesi began to say. "That's right, that of a Dark Signers." Goodwin began to say as his muscles grew and his eyes turned black. "Meaning I'll have the power of the Light and the Darkness!"
"He cant!" Mina said. "He won't." Jack said. "Hee hee heh." Goodwin chuckling sinisterly as he grabbed the capsule by its handle. "Just who gonna stop me, you?"
Goodwin then takes off his mechanical arm. "What is he doing?" Yusei asked. "I told you that mental arm was a conduit a device that would transfer the power of the Crimson Dragon to me." The director explained. "What you going to do with it?" Yusei asked. "What else, to become the all powerful and rule the world." Goodwin replied. "By using the power of the Dark Sign and the power my brother entrusted to me I shall!"
The temple began to rise higher and higher. "Ha ha ha ha ha!" Goodwin chuckled sinisterly.
Then temple stopped raising and the gang saw the tower was very tall.
Yusei, Jack, and Crow were on their Duel Runners.
"Behold, my perch of my reign to come." Goodwin said as a dueling platform appeared in front of him. "But first let's begin the ancient ritual for the King of the Netheworld we will duel on the crest of the Condor, there I will crush you Signers and the Descendants of the people who served the People of the Stars then you all to the Netherworld in turn he will do my bidding, and my ultimate play will be set in motion."
"Have you lost your mind?"Yusei asked. "Yeah you're the one who asked Yusei for help... Take down the Dark Signers." Crow said agreeing with his childhood friend.
"I had my reasons, so you will agree to this duel or not?" Goodwin asked as the vision of the King of the Netherworld appeared which was continuing to make its way to Condor.
"Sure, if it means that thing will go bye-bye!" Yusei replied loudly. "Fair to me but it is you Signers and Descendants of the ancient people who served the People of the Stars that'll be getting the beating!" Goodwin answered with a evil grin.
"Let's do this!" Yusei proclaimed.
"Bring it on, no one is afraid of you!" Jack added.
"That's right! So you got yourself some bugling biceps, so what take a look at these biceps." Crow said showing his biceps. "These are built for power and speed just like the Legendary man himself he soar through the sky and we'll do the same."
"Then let's get started because my friend and I are about to Rev it up!" Yusei proclaimed as he, Jack, and Crow began their Duel Runners and hearing their engines running like race cars.
"Get him you guys!" Leo cheered moving his left arm up and down. "You can do this." Luna said cupping her hands together. "That's right!" Cosmo said smiling. "Just make sure you guys stay focused." Shadow said with a smile and his arms crossed.
"Yeah you all kick his butt!" Slippy said. "Stay strong you guys." Trudge said. "Be careful." Mina added. "Very careful.' Akiza said.
"Yeah!" Miles cheered.
The Condor flipped up and facing straight forward as if it was on the ground like the Dark Signer Marks. "First a few ground rules since this is a 3-1 match-up you three will start with 4000 life points while I'll start with 3 times that amount which is 12000. also none of us can attack on our first turn." Goodwin explained. "Any objections?"
"None from me." Crow said.
"That's fine with me." Jack added.
"Then let's do this!" Yusei said.
The three Satellite men drove onto the Condor.
"DUEL!" They all said.
Yusei: 4000
Crow: 4000
Jack: 4000
"Now you Signers prepare yourselves to enter into a world of Stealth a world where every move counts." Goodwin said. "Prepare to enter Speed World.
"And you prepare to enter of world of hurt." Crow said. "I'll take the first move I draw!"
"I summon Blackwing Mistral the Silver Shield in attack mode!" Crow said summoning his Blackwing Tuner Monster.

"When there's Blackwing on my side I can special summon Blackwing Bora the Spear which can give me edge." Crow added.

"I then place on card facedown and end my turn." Crow added. "Which means you get to deal with me now." Jack said drawing a card.
"I'll start out by calling Mad Archfiend." The Ex-champion said.

"Next I'll throw a facedown and call it a turn."
"Alright I'm up." Yusei said drawing a card. "And you're going to down you see whatever you're planning ain't going to happen."
"Oh yes it will its been the making for 17 years not that I knew it back then." Goodwin said.
a Flashback scene
"You see before Roman released the power of Ener-D, he gave me the mark of the Dragon head and explaining to me that after every 5000 years the Crimson Dragon and the King of the Netherworld would do battle thus light versus Darkness this time my brother's body was the battle ground."
"Two marks... one symbolizing each embedding themselves in his flesh however the Dark Signer Mark began to gain control of my brother then soon he was swallowed by its power but not entirely he understood the importance of the Darkness being kept in check by the light so he went to great lengths to expunge the light and gave it to someone he can trust... that someone was me." Goodwin explained.
Goodwin found his brother in the control room and then he threw a capsule at him. "Take this and run!" Roman ordered loudly. "What is in this?" Rex asked. "The key to the world's survival." Roman replied as his brother gasped. "Good and evil were battling inside me and I chose the path of Darkness." His brother explained who seemed to look angry.
"Gather the four Signers and then come back to defeat me!" Roman ordered loudly.
"With that he unleased the power of Ener-D Reactor." Rex explained. "Soon after I did what my brother told me to do and prepare to battle the Darkness by gathering you four Signers.
"I went to see Roman and challenged him to a duel, the battle to between good and evil, the good against the wicked." Rex said.
"Do you know what happened then," Rex asked with his eyes closed. "I lost."
Rex: 0
Roman approached his brother and looked down at the floor to see what three cards his brother dropped. The three cards were traps.
"You couldn't beat with those cards, what did you throw the match away?" Roman asked his brother grabbing his shoulders. "I had my reasons, believe me." Rex said looking weak.
"What do you mean?" His brother asked. "I mean that you're not going to able to beat Yusei Fudo." Rex replied making a faint smile. "What kind of reason is that?" Roman asked again looking totally confused.
"Don't you understand brother?" Rex asked. "The Light will triumph over the Darkness and after 5000 years new Signers and Dark Signers will be chosen therefore the battle will over again and again."
'The Cycle is never ending but now that I've lost it'll change everything." Rex explained. "What kind of changes?" Roman asked. "Cause I lost to you, I'll be reborn as a Dark Signer and have the power of the Signer as well, do you know what that means?"
"I power I'll possess." Goodwin began to say.
"You've gone mad." Rex said realizing what his brother was getting at. "Soon I'll have the strength and might of the both the light and the Darkness." Goodwin added. "Perhaps you weren't able to take these forces but I can assure brother I'm up for the task then there will be a new battle between good and evil."
"No Rex you can't!" Roman said as a dark bird appeared. 'Its too late its already started."

"So now you all understand with the Dark Signer I have I can lay waste to this world and then I use the power of the Crimson Dragon to rebuild this world in my rule." Goodwin said.
Yusei and the others were shocked. "You've lost it."
"Wait a second lay waste to all that there is?" Crow asked. "You're destroying everyone and everything on earth."
"Sorry mr world dominator but we're not going to let that happen." Jack added.
"That's right you may have the power of the light and darkness on your side but we've got something powerful that you can't take away from us." Yusei added.
"Really, what would that be?" Rex asked. "Its the power you get for fighting for what's right." Yusei replied.
The gang were astonished by Yusei's speech.
"I summon Max Warrior in attack mode!" Yusei proclaimed.

"Finally its time to show you all the power of the Light and the Darkness." Goodwin said drawing a card.
"First, since there's monsters on your side and none on mine, I'm allowed summon forth Oracle of the Sun onto my field."

"Then I summon the Tuner Monster Fire Ant Ascator

"A Tuner monster?" Crow said.
"That's not good!" Jack said realizing Goodwin strategy.
Yusei was knowing that too.
"Yes, you know what's coming, I tune Level 3 Fire Ant Ascator with Level 5 Oracle of the Sun to Synchro Summon, the one, the only, the beginning of the end for you 3 peons."
"The Sun Dragon Inti!"

"That monster doesn't look too tough." Yusei said. "Don't worry there's much more by removing my Fire Ant Ascator from play, I can summon Weeping Idol."

"Next by lowering my life points by 1000 I can summon the Dark Tuner Monster Dark Goddess Witaka from my hand." Goodwin added.

"Next I activate her ability which lets me maker her level as the same Synchro Monster that's on my side of the field." Rex explained.
"Since Sun Dragon Inti is level 8, Dark Goddess Witaka's level becomes 8 as well."

"Now she's packing more heat I'll have her Dark Tune with my Level 2 Weeping Idol." Goodwin added. "You see with the power of the Light and Darkness my field will have it as well first there was the Sun Dragon and now there's Moon Dragon Quila!"

"But I'm afraid Quila won't be around for long you see due my Moon Dragon's ability it is destroyed at the End Phase of my turn."
"What go for the production out of him coming out?" Crow asked. "You do have some screws loose don't ya?"
"Oh well this will be over soon enough, cause next round, we're going to put a hurt on you." The Blackwing Duelist added.
Goodwin made a grin. "Yes this upcoming round should be interesting indeed."
"(I don't like sound that)" Crow thought. "(Okay then Goodwin time to take you down.)"
"Here goes nothing." He said.
"First things first I play the Speed Spell Tune-Up 1-2-3,t hanks to this I can roll a die and Blackwing Shield's level increases by depending what number I roll.
The dice then rolled into 2. "Okay now Blackwing Shield's level increases by 2."

"Now I'll use this Blackwing to Tune my other one Blackwing Bora the Spear and I think you know what happens next." Crow said.
"I Synchro Summon Blackwing Armor Master!"

"Now since Blackwing is face up on my field I can summon this one without any penalty, now come forth Blackwing Elphin the Raven!"

"Now Blackwing Armor Master attack Sun Dragon Inti!" Crow commanded. 'Soaring Shadow Strike!"
"Fool your monster is weaker than my Sun Dragon so your monster won't win this battle." Goodwin said. "We'll see about that." Crow said with grin. "See Armor Master can't be destroyed in battle and the damage he takes becomes zero and then he leaves a Wedge Counter which leaves your monster's attack and defense points zero for the turn... meaning Blackwing Elphin the Raven can't miss."
Elphin the Raven slashed Sun Dragon. "I'm afraid that's where you're wrong Crow there's no such thing as can't miss." Goodwin said smiling. "Not for you and the legendary man you've modeled after your life after."
"What are you talking?" Crow asked. "Hold on, are you saying what I think you're saying?" Yusei asked started to realize what Goodwin was saying. "You were that legendary man?" Jack asked looking surprised. "The one who built the bridge from Satellite?" Crow asked.
"Back to the duel." Goodwin said changing the subject. "And to your Elphin The Raven when Sun Dragon is destroyed by a monster the attacking monster is also destroyed and you can damage equal to its attack points."
Dark Lighting struck Crow. "Aaah!" He screamed.
Crow: 1800
"When Sun Dragon Dragon is destroyed and I'm allowed to Summon Moon Dragon Quilla from my graveyard."
Moon Dragon Quilla Attack 2500
"You see Crow even when you can't miss, you can still be destroyed and that's a lesson I learned the hard way." Goodwin added. "Yes it was I who tried to built the bridge from Satellite and I thought I couldn't miss but I was wrong so now I know if you want something then you must get whatever means necessary."
"Not if it means hurting people and that's why we're going to stop you right here and now." Crow said.
Goodwin then put his left arm up and showing the Crimson Dragon's head as it glowed.
Yusei, Akiza, Jack, and Luna noticed their marks were gone. "No way!" Jack said in shock. "Our Marks!" Akiza said. "They're gone!" Luna added.
The rest of the Marks then were on Goodwin. "He's taking our marks for himself somehow!" Yusei proclaimed.
"Ha ha ha ha You see now I'll stop at nothing to rule all!" Goodwin said laughing.
