Chapter 31: Doom and Descendants Part 3
At the duel where Goodwin was going against Yusei, Jack, and Crow was getting intense with Crow laying on the ground however Yusei and Jack were still in the duel.

Yusei: 4000
Goodwin: 7900
"Ha ha ha ha!" Goodwin laughed sinisterly and then he noticed Akiza and Luna's Dragon continued their fight off blackbirds. "You can fend off those minion but it doesn't matter cause King of the Netherworld will be here soon and the world you know will be gone!"
"Not if we win this duel!" Yusei said. "That's right, so stop your blabbing and let's finish this!" Jack yelled.
"Its my turn." Goodwin said. "(Jack's field is empty which means Goodwin will be able to attack him directly)" Yusei thought with a worried tone.
"I reveal my trap Fiendish Chain with this in play I can equip to one my opponents monsters which cancels its ability and prevent it from attacking nor be sacarficed." Jack explained. "Yes now Jack's life points are safe." Yusei said. Something else occured to the Fortune Champion. "Wait." He said looking back at Goodwin.
"Oh Jack so much to learn this what happens when you give up your loner ways and causes you to make careless mistakes now you'll pay and pay dearly." Goodwin said. "This can't be good." Yusei said. "So I activate Rasca's ability by skipping my battle phase like before I reduce your life points to 1." Goodwin explained. "Now unleash your fury on Jack!"
Jack was by the Immortal's purple fiery breath.
Jack: 0001
"Argh oh no since my life points are below 1000 my trap card Fiendish Chain is destroyed." Jack said.
"That's right and that means Sun Dragon is free also the King of the Netherworld is getting closer to lay waste to this wretched world!" Goodwin proclaimed. "RUN FOR IT!" A man said as he and some people ran away scared. The King of Netherworld then fired a stream of fire which blasted away the blackbirds and nearly hitting Black Rose Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon. "Our Dragon's are helpess." Luna exclaimed.
"He's too strong!" Akiza added. Yusei and Jack were caught in the fire breath too. Jack was starting to ride of control. "NO JACK!" Yusei yelled. "Don't you see your friends are helpless like you Jack, so you're done for."Goodwin said with a evil grin.
"Maybe but the bond we share is important because our cause continues to live on." Jack said as he fel off his Duel Runner and rolled until he stop. "Jack!" Yusei called out. "I can't continue but that doesn't mean I checked out on this duel and know I'll be here if you need me old friend." Jack said as he looked at one card that he placed facedown on his previous turn. "Right we all might down but if you get in a jam then think about us." Crow said with a tired voice. Their friends the Descendants heard this too. "Yeah you can do it Yusei!" Cosmo cheered. "Yeah we'll do our part help." Milo called out. "Yes I will keep fighting till the end." Shadow said making thumbs up with his left thumb. "Same goes for me after I'm the prince of Atlantis I need to help anyway I can." Triton added.
"We all believe in you!" Trudge called out. "Yeah get him Yusei!" Leo cheered.
"Do you see Goodwin this is what makes us strong." Yusei said. "Oh please you still acting like you all are in this together then prove it." Goodwin said. "Last I'll place one card down on the field."
"That would work if I didn't have this the trap card known as: Passion of Baimasse!" Goodwin proclaimed. "It negates your Archer's ability and destroys him."
"Hmm I'll summon Shield Warrior in Defense." Yusei said.
Shield Warrior Defense 1600
"Then I'll place card facedown and my turn." The Leader Signer added. "That's proof of your friendship, a monster cowering in defense mode?" Goodwin asked. "Oh you disappoint me but its pointless to defend if you catch my drift if not I'll show then." He added. "My turn I draw!"
"Now I activate Rasca's ability again by skipping my battle phase again I can lower your life points Yusei to 1." Goodwin explained. "Now Rasca use all your might on Yusei Fudo!"
Yusei was hit which made his friends gasp.
"If you're smart then beg for mercy." Goodwin said with chuckle.
Yusei: 0001
"Not going happen and I plan to win this duel." Yusei said. "Huh?" Goodwin said.
The others smiled. "Its my move." Yusei said. "I playt the Speed Spell Angel Baton since I have two or more speed counters I can draw two more cards as long as I discard one to the graveyard."
"Next I summon Debris Dragon which is a Tuner Monster!"
Debris Dragon Attack 1000
"When this card is normal summoned then I'm allowed to special summon a monster from my graveyard if its attack are 500 or less." Yusei explained. "I chose to bring back Sonic Chick!"
Sonic Chick Attack 300
"Now I'll tune my Level 4 Debris Dragon with Level 1 Sonic Chick and Level 3 Shield Warrior to Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon!" Yusei proclaimed. "Let's rev it up!"

Meanwhile Yusei's friends the Descendants continued their duels against Sayer and Milo's former allies.
"I draw." He said as he looked at the card he drew. "This is Tuner Monster is new." He said quietly observing his new Monster which was a tuner it was called Star Space Fox and its level was 4. "I summon Star Space Red Fox in attack mode."
Star Space Fox Attack 800
"When this monster is normal summoned I bring back another Star Space Monster from my graveyard and I chose Star Space Salamandra."
Star Space Salamndra Attack 800 Level 2
"Next I activate Star Fox's ability when it bring back a Level 2 or lower Star Space Monster from my graveyard it makes it level increase by one until my turns end phase."
Star Space Salamandra Level 3
"Now I tune my Level 4 Star Space Fox with Level 3 Salamandra and Level 1 Vixen so I can Synchro Summon Star Space Galaxy Dragon." Milo proclaimed. "This Dragon looks like the one I used in my duel Tanner but this is one is the parent of Star Space Dragon."

"There's more when this monster Synchro Summoned successfully I can Special Summon Star Space Dragon."

at Duel between Cosmo and Judge man.
"I draw twerp." Judge man said. "I play the Continues Spell card Leading Question with this card in play if there's a monster that's made of two monsters fused like my Kamionwizard it gains 800 attack points." He explained.
Kamionwizard Attack 2100
"So my Fusion monster is more powerful than your Robin monster." Judge man added. "So I'll have it attack your Robin King!"
"Not so fast I play the trap card Whirlwind Tornado which not only ends the battle phase of this turn and I destroy any face-up trap or magic card you have in play I chose Shadow Spell."
"No!" Judge man exclaimed. "Right and since you trap card is no longer equipped to my Robin King his attack points are returned to normal."
Whirlwind Robin King Attack 2200
"I end my turn." Judge man said. "I draw then!" Cosmo proclaimed.
At the duel between Shadow and Nightmare Penguin
"I draw!" Nightmare Penguin proclaimed. "I play my new Penguin Monster known as Penguin Knight!"
Penguin Knight Level 3 Attack 1100
"I play its ability by lowering my life points by 700 I can draw the same number of cards as Penguin Knight's level 3 so I can draw 3 more cards."
Nightmare Penguin: 3400
"I play the spell Monster Reborn to bring back Flying Penguin!"
Flying Penguin Attack 1200
"Next I play the spell Penguin Unite if there's a level 7 or higher monster with Penguin in its name in my hand I special Summon it right away." Nightmare Penguin explained. "What?" Shadow said.
"So I release my Flying Penguin and Penguin Knight to Summon Penguin Emperor of the North Pole!"
Penguin Emperor of the North Pole Attack 2800
"Next I activate its ability by banishing one of my monsters that has the name Penguin in its name like Flying Penguin it transfers its attack points to Penguin Emperor."
Penguin Emperor of the North Pole Attack 4000
"Now I'll have him attack your Magician Master of Light with Frost Breath attack!" Nightmare Penguin proclaimed as the Penguin Emperor breathed out a frost breath at Shadow's Magician.
"Not so fast I play the Quick Spell Magician Force with this card I can stop your monster's attack and draw one card from my deck." Shadow explained as he drew a card.
"Not bad kid but on my next turn I'll freeze your Magician." Nightmare Penguin said. "We'll see." Shadow said drawing his card from his deck.
At the duel between Triton and Sayer.
"My turn!" Triton proclaimed drawing a card as he looked at it. "I play a new Tuner Monster Known as Atlantis Baby Dragon!"
A water like baby dragon resembling Baby Dragon(A duel Monster that Joey Wheeler used in yu-gi-oh) appeared but his whole body was aqua blue like the sea water.
Atlantis Baby Dragon Level 3 Attack 1000
"Now I tune my Level 3 Atlantis Baby Dragon with Level 5 Atlantis Golem so that I can Synchro Summon my Atlantis father's most trusted and loyal friend: Atlantis Aqua Dragon!:
As his Dragon appeared which resembled the Aqua Dragon(A monster that appeared Capsule Monsters) and it had the same color of the blue ocean with green eyes, and it stood on four legs with wings that were like Stardust Dragon's but were the color of the ocean which was blue.
Atlantis Aqua Dragon Level 8 Attack 2500
"Meanwhile back at the duel between Yusei and Goodwin.
Yusei had his Stardust Dragon on the field.
"That Dragon isn't strong enough to stop my Immortal." Goodwin said. "Wrong like I said this beast is like the bond I share with my friends." Yusei said. "What do you mean?" The Director asked. "I mean I'm using the effect of the trap card that Crow left behind Blackwing Anchor!" The Signer Leader replied.
Crow smiled.
"Now by sending Blackwing Anchor the graveyard it gains 2500 attacks until this turn ends." Yusei explained. "What?" Goodwin said. "That's right, you see that's the reason why Crow released Blackwing Armor Master but for himself for the team." Yusei added.
Stardust Dragon Attack 5000
"Now Stardust Dragon is stronger, now attack Sun Dragon!" The Fortune Cup Champion commanded.
Stardust Dragon unleashed its cosmic breath at Sun Dragon and then destroyed it.
Goodwin: 5900
"You fool when Sun Dragon is destroyed the monster that destroyed it is also destroyed then you take damage to its attack points." Goodwin said. "That's where you're wrong cause thanks to Stardust Dragon's ability can negate your Sun Dragon's ability." Yusei explained. "Its something I call victim's sanctuary."
"Not bad Yusei but when Sun Dragon is gone I can bring back his counterpart like Moon Dragon Quilla." Goodwin said.
The Moon Dragon began to resurrect.
"Not this time Goodwin." Yusei said. Goodwin was confused at what the Signer Leader meant but then saw another facedown card appear in front of Jack. "Is that Jack's card?" He asked. "You bet." Crow said. "Our bond is powerful than you think." Jack added.
"This Trap is known as Conquest of the Supreme Ruler by sending this card to graveyard you can't summon Moon Dragon again." Yusei explained. "But..' Goodwin began to say. "But nothing.. and since I'm ending my turn Stardust Dragon comes back from the graveyard." Yusei added.
Stardust Dragon Attack 2500
"Maybe now you'll believe that friendship is powerful like our friendship is stronger." Yusei said. "No I refuse to believe you or friends I thought too but I can believe that with power of the marks I have!" Goodwin exclaimed.
"That's not true I know you still have the bond with your brother Roman." Yusei said. "What?" Goodwin said glaring at the Satellite guy. "You tried to built the bridge because he trusted you and he wanted to fulfill his dreams though you failed you still have that the dream inside you." The Signer Leader added.
Goodwin remembered when he drove off the bridge he built and reached out to the sun saying his brother's name.
"You get more strength from him than those marks you have." Yusei said again. "No I can't believe you're just trying to confuse me so you can win." Goodwin said shaking his head.
"The King of Netherworld is approaching still and you three have only 1 life point left so you better come up with a plan if not then this miserable world and everyone is doom forever!" Goodwin proclaimed.
Back at the duel with Milo against Skull Knight who Star Space Dragon along with new Dragon known as Star Space Galaxy Dragon.
"I activate Star Space Galaxy Dragon's ability when her offspring is on the field she gains the same of amount its attack points." Milo explained. "What?" Skull Knight said.
Star Space Galaxy Dragon Attack 5600
At the duel between Cosmo and Judgeman.
It was still Cosmo's turn and she drew her card.
"I play Equip Spell Whirlwind Flute with this I can equip to a Whirlwind Monster it can make a call to Whirlwind Tuner from my deck and I chose a new one called Level 3 Whirlwind Sonic Road Runner!"
Sonic Road Runner Level 3 Attack 700
"When this monster is summoned due a card effect she blow away my opponents life points by 500 for monster my opponent has on their side of the field." Cosmo explained.
Judge Man: 1200
"Next I tune Level 3 Whirlwind Sonic Road Runner Level 5 Whirlwind Robin King so that I can Synchro Summon my mother's loyal monster: Whirlwind Gust Dragon!" She proclaimed.
Whirlwind Gust Dragon Level 8 Attack 2600
The Gust Dragon looked like Harpie's pet Dragon expect it was flying with its wing spread out and its wing weren't on his arms like a bat.
At the duel between Shadow and Nightmare Penguin.
"Now I draw!" The Penguin monster proclaimed. "Now I activate the new Spell Card Artic Freeze which lets me freeze your monster for one turn and reduces attack points by half of its original attack points."
Magician Master of Light Level 5 Attack 1250
"Also by lowering my life points by 1500 my Penguin Emperor gains the same the attack your Magician just lost." Nightmare Penguin explained.
Nightmare Penguin: 2500
Penguin Emperor of the North Pole Attack 4050
"Now Attack again and destroy this human!" he commanded his Penguin monster.
"Not so fast I play the trap card Magician Barrier with it I can stop your monster from attacking this turn." Shadow explained. "Not only that I can draw another card from my deck."
"Argh I end my turn." Nightmare Penguin said glaring at the Magician boy. "Since this my turn ends again my Penguin Emperor's attack points return normal.
Penguin Emperor of the North Pole Attack 2800
'Then its my turn again." Shadow said. "I play the a New Tuner Monster I drew on previously from the trap card I played known as Magician Skill Girl."
Magician Skill Girl Level 3 Attack 1200
"Next I tune my Level 3 Magician Skill Girl with Level 5 Magician Master of Light to Synchro Summon my Father's most trusted creature: Dragon Guardian of the Magicians!"
Dragon Guardian of the Magicians Level 8 Attack 2800
At the duel between Yusei and Goodwin.
"Its my move!" Goodwin proclaimed. "Your turn to lost Yusei and now Earthbound Immortal attack him directly!"
Rasca unleashed it darkness breath at Yusei.
Yusei shrugged but then Jack called out to him. "Hey use my facedown card." He called out. "Of course I play the trap card Scrubbed Raid which lets me end the battle phase simply by sending a card on my field to the graveyard such as this trap card." Yusei explained.
Yusei was protected by a shield.
"In that case I play my trap card Meteor Flare by sending two cards to the graveyard you're dealt 2000 points of damage." Goodwin explained. "Wrong cause the I play trap Joint Future with this I can send one card in my hand to the graveyard and your trap's effect is negated." Yusei explained.
"That maybe but since Meteor Flare is still sent to my graveyard which means since its still my draw phase it can return to my hand." The Director said. "Afraid not when any card is negated by Joint Future that card is sent back to the deck and then shuffled." Yusei explained.
Goodwin gasped. "Don't you see the power of friendship always triumphs and let bond with your brother triumph too." Yusei said. "QUIET!" The Director yelled. "My bond with my brother is gone forever."
"You're wrong there bonds that will last a eternity." Yusei said. "Believe me I know and I know you still believe that after all he trusted you to do the right thing trust like that maybe easy to ignore but not to forget look inside deep within your heart."
Goodwin thought about this and saw Roman standing by him. "Wait Roman." He said reaching out to him.
Suddenly Yusei noticed a card was glowing on the top of his deck and Marks from Crimson Dragon then returned the Signers. 'Our marks are returning to us." Luna proclaimed.
Yusei's mark changed into the Crimson Dragon's head. "I got the Crimson Dragon's head on me?" He asked. "I'm suppose the have the power of the Light and the Darkness!" Goodwin yelled.
"The Crimson Dragon saw you still honor your brother's memory and so the Crimson Dragon is part of me." Yusei explained.
Back the duels where Descendants they felt something inside them too.
Milo heard a voice. "My son." The voice said it was female voice which was the same voice that talked him when he dueled Misty alongside Akiza. "My little boy the time is waken your true power." She said. "Also my name is Queen Galaxia."
"Yes my son." The another voice said which was male. "I'm your father and my name is King Lucas we know you'll make us proud."
"I will Mother and father!" Milo said with tears as he transformed into his Starlight King uniform.
Cosmo and Shadow saw their parents too. "Our dear children with powers you possess be awaken!" The Mother proclaimed. "Yes our children will fulfill their destinies!" The Father said.
Cosmo changed into dress was similar to the Dark Magician's girl's uniform and Shadow wore a Magician uniform that was like the Dark Magican's expect the color was blue like the sky. "Let's try our powers brother." Cosmo said.
"I activate my Whirlwind Gust Dragon's ability if there once face-up magic card or trap that's in play on my opponents field my Dragon gains 1000 attack points like your Continues Spell Leading Question." Cosmo explained.
Whirlwind Gust Dragon Attack 3600
I activate my Dragon's ability too." Shadow said. "When battles a monster that summoned by releasing two monsters like how you summon your Penguin Emperor your monster loses 1000 attack points for each one which adds up to 2000 and your Penguin Emperor loses 2000 attack points."
Penguin Emperor Attack 800
"No way!" Nightmare Penguin exclaimed.
"The same amount of attack points your monster lost is added to my Dragon's attack points." Shadow added.
Dragon Guardian of the Magicians Attack 4800
Triton then changed into the same uniform(which was the same as the Atlantis King from the movie Atlantis the Lost Empire wore) and then he saw two figures. "Our son." First figure said which appeared as a woman with a female Atlantis dress. "This your chance to try your powers."
"My son carry out your destiny." The second figure said which was man wearing the same male Atlantis uniform he was wearing. "I will do my part!" Triton proclaimed. "I activated Atlantis Aqua Dragon's ability if there's a monster on my opponent's side that was special summon it loses half of its original attack points."
"What?" Sayer said.
Thought Ruler Archfiend Attack 1350
"You did your part Goodwin and I'll do mine." Yusei proclaimed as he drew the Tuner Monster Majestic Dragon. "Since I have Stardust Dragon on the field I can bring Stardust Xialong from my graveyard."
Stardust Xialong Attack 100
"Now I summon Majestic Dragon!" Yuesi added.
"Next I tune Majestic Dragon with Level 8 Stardust Dragon and Level 1 Stardust Xialong so that I can Synchro Summon Majestic Star Dragon!: Yusei proclaimed.
Majestic Star Dragon Attack 3800
"Next I activate Majestic Star Dragon's ability which let me negate your Immortal's ability." Yusei explained. "What?!" Goodwin exclaimed. "And then I reveal the trap card Synchro Baton for every Synchro Monster in our graveyards I can increase one Synchro Monster attack points by 600 on my field since there's six Synchro Monsters in our graves and I chose Majestic Star Dragon's which gives it 2400 extra attack points." Yusei explained.
Majestic Star Dragon Attack 6200
"Now Attack Rasca with Star Shine Shred!" Yusei commanded.
The Descendants commanded their Dragon's to attack too.
"Now Star Space Galaxy Dragon attack Lycanthrope with Galaxy Cosmic Breath!" Milo commanded.
"Go Whirlwind Gust Dragon attack Kamionwizard with Whirlwind Hurricane Gust!" Cosmo commanded.
"Dragon Guardian of the Magicians attack Penguin Emperor with Mystical Light Shining Blast! Shadow commanded.
"Atlantis Aqua Dragon attack Thought Ruler Archfiend with Aqua Water Blast!" Triton commanded.
Their Dragons attacked and destroyed their opponents monsters.
Goodwin: 0
Skull Knight: 0
Judgeman: 0
Nightmare Penguin: 0
Sayer: 0
They all screamed.
"Now Majestic Star Dragon take out the King of the Netherworld!" Yusei commanded as the Star Dragon flew towards the Slimy Dark Dragon and destroyed it.
Everything went blank and Yusei found himself somewhere and he noticed Kalin, Greiger, Misty, Devack, and Carly Carmine.
He looked ahead and saw Goodwin who was with Roman. "Its so good to see you again and it seems like an eternity." The Director said smiling. "It seems so." Roman said smiling back.
"You were right Yusei Fudo I still share the bond I had with Roman and did honor his memory." Goodwin said. 'Where are we?" Yusei asked. "A place where the light and darkness lie." Goodwin answered. "Its all thanks to you we still have our bond we all share for life."
Goodwin then looked at the Dark Signers. "Take care of them their place is back on earth."
"Now Roman and I got some catching up to do let's go brother." He added.
Roman and Goodwin then walked into a light.
The King of the Netherworld was destroyed as just Jack, Crow, and Yusei fell but were caught by Majestic Star Dragon. "They're okay." Mina said. "Yeah and check it out." Akiza said.
'Everything going back to normal." Trudge proclaimed. "It seems that Majestic Star Dragon is reversing the damage the King of the Netheworld did." Akiza said.
"It seems so." Milo said. "You're ok." Akiza said.
"Hey don't forget about us." Triton said walking towards them and waving his left arm. "We all did together." Shadow said with grin and doing thumbs up. "We sure did." Cosmo said with a smile.
"Just one thing though." Luna said. "What is it?" Akiza asked. "Where is the Star Dragon taking Yusei, Crow, and Jack." Luna said as the Majestic Star Dragon flew away.
Soon after everything went back to normal.
Akiza was with Mina, Shadow, Cosmo, and the twins.
She then showed a picture of her brother Milo with Misty Tredwell who was had her left arm on Milo's right shoulder also Milo's face was slight red with a smile and Misty had a bright smile on her face. "Check it out guys I got postcard from Misty she says Milo is doing good job being her assistant for her Modeling gig and being a wonderful boyfriend to her."
"They look cute together." Cosmo said a with smile. Shadow made a grin. "I also got a call from Trition that he says he and stepfather are speaking again." Akiza added. "I heard Kalin and Greiger are doing well too." Luna said.
"Anyway, has anyone heard from Yusei, Jack, and Crow yet?" Leo asked.
Trudge then drove by and stopped to talk to the others. "No I looked everywhere and no sign of them."
"WHAT?!" A voice said. It was Carly in disguise as an old man and she threw the disguise off. "How can I get a top story now, all this Signer story is my ticket to a peabody!"
"Can you interview yourself, you were there too during the Dark Signer incident." Trudge said taking off his helmet. "I'll tell you why cause I don't remember anything of the incident everything is a blank and its so frustration." Carly yelled. "Well on the bright side you're back to your normal self and not being a scary Dark Signer." Akiza said.
"I was a Dark Signer?" Carly asked biting on a napkin. Everyone giggled.
Meanwhile Yusei, Jack, and Crow were at the Shoreline looking at the shoreline gazing off into the distant.
"I'm sure the others are worried but they'll understand." Crow said. "I'm sure they will." Yusei said. "Just look at it." Crow said. "It sure does look great." Yusei said. "It makes our work worth it." Jack said with grin.
"Maybe one man can't built a bridge but team of friends can." Crow said. "We can't rest yet there's a bunch of bridges that need to building." Jack said. "In that case, what are we waiting for let's do it!" Yusei said as he and his two satellite friends got on their Duel Runners. "Let's rev it up!"
They drove on the bridge to down the highway.
