Misaki groaned as she dragged her feet to the arena. She barely had any sleep last night. For some weird reason, she felt as if someone was talking about her and she couldn't shake off the feeling all throughout the night. Also, Laxus was staring at her weirdly, like her face was a puzzle he was trying to solve. Mira wouldn't look her in the eye.

"Something is fishy..." she muttered to herself.

"FISH?! WHERE! COME HERE BREAKFAST!" the happy voice of Happy shook her out of her trance.

Misaki glared at the blue cat before sighing and rubbing her eyes. No use being angry at the cat for being happy. Levi landed on her shoulder and rubbed her cheek with his head before flying up with Happy to the stands to watch the games. It was only the third day of the games but Misaki was already really, really tired.

"WELCOME TO THE THIRD DAY OF THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES! TODAY'S COMPETITION IS QUITE DIFFERENT! WHO WILL REPRESENT YOUR GUILD?!"

Misaki blocked out the rambling of the over-enthusiastic judge and focused on Rogue's face instead. He looked dark, and quite mysterious. Her type of guy. She stared at him a little longer before his red eyes met hers. She watched in mild interest and amusement as his cheeks turned a light pink before he looked to the ground.

"What could he be thinki- Oh. Oh. Someone must have told him about that night when he got drunk. But why didn't he think about it earlier. Yesterday, for example. When I was embarrassed. Hmmmm... Maybe his mind just works slowly or something..." Misaki's mind rambled on and on.

"Misaki. Are you listening?" Erza asked, her voice laced with annoyance.

"Oi. Listen when we're talking." Laxus said as he flicked her forehead.

Misaki blinked out of her trance as her eyes watered from the pain.

"Owwwwwwww. You didn't have to flick that hard..."

"As we were saying. Natsu wants to do this round. So let him."

"YEAHHHHHH! BEWARE OF FIREEEE BECAUSE I AM ON FIREEE!"

Misaki could almost hear Lucy's hand slapping her face in a facepalm from all the way in the audience.

"They would make such a cute couple." Misaki mused to herself.

"NATSU! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"

Misaki glanced towards where Natsu was standing and realised it was empty. Her eyes followed Erza's to see Natsu jumping on the top of the statue screaming at the top of his lungs. Misaki mentally facepalmed and threw a pillar of darkness at Natsu, causing him to fall onto the arena where all the other competitors were either laughing or shaking their head in disapproval.

"UM... OK! NOW THAT ALL THE COMPETITORS ARE UP IN THE ARENA... I WILL ANNOUNCE THE NEW CHALLENGE! IT IS CALLED... RING OF WATER! SO CAN ONE OF THE COMPETITORS DIVE INTO THIS MAGIC POOL FILLED WITH MONSTERS NOW?!"

Natsu's face visibly paled. He looked like he was just asked to sit on a train for the rest of his life. However, his face regained its normal color in an instant as he yelled out "SWIMMING!" before cannonballing into the pool.

"AND THERE WE HAVE THE FIRST COMPETITOR IN THE POOL, NATSU DRAGNEEL FROM FAIRY TAIL!"

Misaki watched as Natsu floated around the pool for a bit before swimming as fast as he can to the nearest monster.

"NATSU IS A FIRE DRAGON SLAYER, SO HIS MAGIC SHOULD BE USELESS IN WATER, RIGHT?!" the judge cried out.

Misaki and the rest of Fairy Tail just smirked. The audience and others were in for a surprise.

Natsu punched the D-class monster, knocking it out cold. He then moved on to a more powerful looking monster. Misaki could see him gathering up magical energy.

"Wait for it..." she smirked.

A column of fire shot out from Natsu's mouth and hit the monster square on the chest. He was also knocked out instantly.

The rest of the people in the arena were quiet before the audience started screaming and chanting Natsu's name.

"WOAHHHH! HIS FIRE WORKS! HIS FIRE WORKS IN WATER! HOW COOLLLLLLLL!" the judge screamed.

Misaki looked on, knowing what will happen next. It was obvious.

She took this time to study her opponents to see how good they were. She could still hear the noises in the background, people screaming Natsu's name, the judge fangirling.
