Yugi's POV:

So, we're awakened in the middle of the night by someone knocking on our door.

"Door's open. Remus, what are you doing here?"

"You guys need to come out right now… Sirius Black just broke into the Gryffindor Tower."

Well, that sure makes us all jump out of bed. We quickly change and run after Remus, to the Great Hall. Once we're there, I go over to Harry and ask what happened, while Marik, Ryou, and Remus all go over to Dumbledore.

"Well, it's not really me who should be telling you, but Ron saw Sirius Black standing over him with a knife in his hand."

I walk over to Dumbledore, and hear him saying, "… with a knife. We blocked off every exit we can, and all the other teachers are looking around for him."

As we're walking out of the Great Hall, Yami and Bakura start talking to each other.

+Hey Pharaoh, do you think we could track him?+

+I don't know what he looks like, or what his signature is, Thief. Unless I know that, I can't find him. Would the Ring be able to?+

+Probably+

~Ryou, can I take over to find Black?~

[You think the Ring can find him?]

Lupin's POV:

I'm walking next to the three boys after Dumbledore tells us to search the Castle for Sirius. Marik is looking between Yugi and Ryou with quizzical eyes. That's when I notice a flash and a light covers Ryou. I get my wand out, but Yugi shakes his head. Once the light clears, I notice that Ryou has a giant golden pendent hanging from a string around his neck.

"Find Sirius Black."

The spikes at the bottom of the pendent start to stick out. They move up, down, and side-to-side, before finally staying still, pointing out. The boys look at each other, Ryou nods, and they take off running. I take off after them, as I'm supposed to be with them so they don't lose their way. We run down some hallways and even through some secret passageways before going outside. We finally stop in front of the Whomping Willow.

"What in the world? The Ring is never wrong, but why is it pointing to a tree?"

"That's because the tree isn't just a tree." I say walking up and pushing the special knot in the tree "It's a secret passageway."

"A passageway to where?"

"I'll show you."

I open the door and walk through. The others follow me.

"Well, I guess this is where the Ring was leading us… it's pointing down the passageway."

"That Ring, it's leading us to Sirius right?"

"Yup."

"Well then, I believe I know where Sirius is hiding."

"Where?"

"The Shrieking Shack is at the end of this tunnel. I don't know why I haven't seen him yet, but I'm sure that's where he is."

We kept walking to the end of the tunnel and I paused in front of the door. Ryou gently pushed himself in front of me to the door… the Ring is still pointing to the door. He lifted his hand and opened the door. The spikes on the Ring changed from pointing straight in front to pointing down towards a corner. I look in the corner and see a big black dog sleeping. The dog stirs and lifts his head. I turn around to head out, but Yugi (who seems taller now) grabs me by my arm. I turn around as the dog changes into Sirius. I point my wand at him and he puts his hands up.

"Please Remus, just listen to me."

"You betrayed them. Why would I listen to you!?"

Marik takes something out of his belt, while Yugi and Ryou grab their pendants. Marik then nods to Yugi. As he starts to talk, I notice that his voice is much deeper than it usually is.

"Shadi, Seto I have need for the Scales."

In a flash of light, a man with brown hair and dressed in a white trench coat appears. He bows to Yugi and nods to Marik and Ryou.

"What do you need me for, my Pharaoh?"

"I need to know the honesty of the man standing in front of me."

"Of course, sir."

The brown haired man takes a scale out of his pocket (I have no idea how it fit in there) and proceeds to put a feather on one side of the scale. He then turns to Sirius.

"Yugi and I will ask you a series of questions. If you answer truthfully, the scale will stay balanced, but if you lie, then the part without the feather will lower. Do you understand?"

"Yes."

He looks back at Yugi, and nods.

"Who are you?"

"I am Sirius Orion Black. Son of Orion and Walburga Black and elder brother of Regulus Black."

"Why are you in this shack?"

"I broke out of Azkaban prison. I am on the run from the Ministry, and needed to be near Hogwarts."

"Why did you need to be near Hogwarts?"

"One day, when the Minister was coming by my cell, I asked for his issue of the Daily Prophet. That's when I noticed that he was at Hogwarts, and realized that was where I needed to go."

"Who was at Hogwarts?"

"Peter Pettigrew."

"I thought Peter Pettigrew was dead?"

"He wasn't."

Remus murmured, "All they found was his figure."

"Remus, you have to believe me… I didn't betray the Potters, Peter did. When I went to confront Peter, he shouted for the whole street (the 12 Muggles included) that I betrayed and killed the Potters. He then proceeded to blow up the street, cut his finger off, and scurried down the sewer."

"How did a man fit down the sewer?"

"He's an animagus. He can turn into a rat. He changed into his rat form and went down the sewer."

"Why would they send you to Azkaban then?"

"He shouted for everyone to hear that I betrayed the Potters. The Ministry found me and sent me to Azkaban."

"How did you escape?"

"I am also an unregistered animagus… a dog. I was able to change and remain relatively unaffected, because Dementors have difficulty sensing the less complex emotions of animals. One day, when they opened the cell to give me food, I transformed into my dog form and slipped through the open door."

I have been standing next to Marik listening to the whole thing. I can't believe that Sirius was innocent, and Peter betrayed the Potters. "Why doesn't the Ministry know?"

"They just threw me in Azkaban without a trial. Dumbledore tried to get me one, but they told him that all the evidence pointed to me. Please believe me Moony."

"Why haven't I seen you here yet?"

"I've been keeping an eye on the moon, Remus. I would go into the forest when you would come here. I didn't want to confront you, because I didn't know how you would react, sorry buddy."

"Well, things weren't really in your favor."

"No, they weren't."

Yugi turns to the other man and says, "Thank you Seto. You may go now."

"You're welcome."

He puts the scale back in his pocket. Marik uses his rod to create a giant portal that looks like it's made of shadows. Seto steps through the portal and disappears.

"What was that?"

"That was a shadow portal. I made it so that Seto could get back to his company in Japan."

"Wow, that took him to Japan?"

"It's like Apparation and the floo combined."

"Cool."

"Will you come back to the castle with us? Everyone needs to know the truth… Harry needs to know the truth."

"I don't know Remus, everyone thinks that I betrayed the Potters and that I should be in Azkaban."

"Hey, I've got an idea."

"Wait, the thief just had an idea… that can't be good."

"It's not him… it's me."

"Oh, in that case… what's your idea, Ryou?"

"Well, Dumbledore's on his side, so why don't we bring him back here and explain it to him. We can maybe bring in Harry."

"That's not such a bad idea. It's the weekend in two days. We'll come back with Dumbledore by then, and hopefully we can get Pettigrew."

And that's the end of the chapter. Because the Yugioh characters are in the story, it won't be canon… I hope my readers are okay with that. Remember to review!
