Dean and Lorenzo followed Renee to a disgusting looking motel; just outside the city. Dean couldn't help but equate it to the crappy apartments he and Lauren had known growing up; and if the outside looked this bad, he could only imagine what one of these rooms must look like inside. It made his stomach turn. Lorenzo made a call to his security team, who had managed to get Joey M's family to offer up a few men in return for a favor from Lorenzo at a later date. He told them where he and Dean were and told them to get there quickly. He looked over at Dean.
"My guys are on their way; so there are two options, you and I could go now and see what we find." he watched Dean for a reaction.
"What's option number two?" Dean asked.
"We wait for my guys to get here and we go in as a group. I don't think they are far from here. What is your opinion on the subject?" Lorenzo asked him.
"Let's go see what brings Renee to a place like this; your guys can join us when they get here, unless you and I have solved the issue already on our own." Dean grinned. Lorenzo smiled; he really did like this guy, they thought in similar ways.
"Let's go then." Lorenzo said. The two men quietly approached the door. "You know what this Wyatt guy sounds like right?"
"Yes, let me have a listen at the door." Dean said moving over closer.
"I appreciate your help; but now I'm saying I've changed my mind! I don't need Dean Ambrose anymore; 'she' can have him. So why don't we find someplace to drop her off and be done with this whole thing." Renee said to someone in the room. It took no time at all for Dean to recognize the maniacal laugh that belonged to Bray Wyatt. Bray backed Renee up against the dirty wall with a thud.
"You may be done with this harlot; but I am not. Imagine the look on Dean's face when he sees her face on the titantron; but has no idea where she is or how to help her! That ought to be enough to break Dean's spirit; then he realizes that he has been foolish in refusing my help. Since I really can't trust you not to run your mouth to him; I guess you'll just have to stay here to!" He tossed her down on the other bed.
Dean nodded to Lorenzo and Lorenzo handed Dean one of his two guns. "You know how to shoot one of these?" Lorenzo asked quickly.
"Yeah; I learned once." Dean responded and took the gun. They both counted down and kicked the door open. Both men pointing their guns directly at Bray.
"You check on Lauren; I'll get to know your co-worker a little better." Lorenzo said as he stalked towards Bray. "You picked the wrong woman to kidnap!" Lorenzo gave him a smirk. "You really should have done some research; you would have found out that she's still really close to her ex-husband, that's me by the way. Then you probably would have found out that I have a lot of questionable friends; let's just say you're going to be begging for death.
Dean ran over to Lauren; she was backed right up towards the headboard of the bed, a filthy blanket wrapped around her as if it were her security blanket. She was visibly shaking and her eyes had a distant look in them. Dean said her name softly and put his hand on her shoulder; Lauren let out a blood-curdling scream and recoiled from his touch, again pulling the blanket tighter around herself. "Lauren; it's just me, Dean. Look who came with me to get you; it's Lorenzo, see right in front of us." He said softly; only to watch her grab both sides of her head and shake it from side to side almost violently. It was Bray's insane laugh that captured both men's attention.
"She's not in there anymore man; you'd be surprised how quickly she broke apart. I expected a challenge; but oh what a sad and unfortunate past she's had! I'm afraid Dean; my brother, the only thing left of her is that scared little girl and a whole lot of reopened wounds." He smirked and laughed again; until Lorenzo, who had heard enough shooting Bray in the leg as a warning.
Dean carefully got onto the god awful bed, "Lauren; you don't have to be scared. Remember what I told you the first day we met? I told you that as long as you were with me; you'd never have to be scared. You were starving and scared; it was my birthday and I shared the Ramen noodles I had found in the cabinet with you." He hoped that it would spark some recognition; he held his breath when she turned her head to look at him. It was the very same sad eyes that had captured him that first day.
"J-Jon?" her quiet voice broke the silence finally.
"Yes! It's me; everything is ok now, I'm going to help you. Do you trust me?" He smiled at her.
Lauren shook her head, "I-I don't like it here. P-please don't leave me here with Anton! He's been so mad lately; I'm scared!" She almost whispered it; like she expected him to walk through the door. It through Dean for a loop; she had told him herself that Anton was dead. What the hell had Bray done to her?
"Lauren baby; I'm not leaving you here, you're going to come with me and you'll be safe. Come on; let's get you out of this place, ok?" He said; he was surprised when suddenly she hugged him with all her strength. He helped her off the bed; discarding the blanket back onto the bed. He looked at Lorenzo; "If I take her back to the hotel in my truck, are you going to be able to get back there yourself?" He asked.
"My guys are on the way; they'll get me there, but first the group of us is going to take care of this guy! Meet you back at the hotel." Lorenzo grinned. No one had really paid attention to Renee hiding next to the other bed. "I would suggest Ms. Young; that you leave here now." Lorenzo said with a flat inflection; not turning his head from the man bleeding on the carpet. He did grab her arm before she could pass him. "If anything that you just witnessed here ends up in a paper, social media, or sitting on a police desk; I will come looking for you. If I find out that you've harassed Lauren or Dean any more in the future; I will come looking for you. This is the only warning you are getting." He said in a voice so calm that it sent shivers up Renee's spine. He let go of her arm just as his security arrived. "Perfect timing! She's free to leave; but let me introduce everyone to our new friend Bray!" He smirked at Bray.
Jon got Lauren back to his hotel room; his arm wrapped around her shoulders. He didn't say a word to either of his friends as he ushered her into his bedroom; just offered them a look that indicated it wasn't good. "Lauren; honey you've been in that hell hole, I'm sure you'd like a nice hot shower why don't you go do that ok?" He smiled gently at her.
She shook her head in agreement; but grabbed his wrist as he tried to walk away. He looked into her eyes and still saw fear in them. "Don't leave me; I don't want to be alone, and Anton might find me here." She begged.
"Ok, Lauren; we'll shower together. Baby; Anton won't find you anymore, Anton is dead." Dean hugged her and led them both to the adjoining bathroom. He quickly warmed up the water and stepped inside with her. Grabbing a bar of soap he slowly and gently washed all the grim off her; he wished he could wash all the bad things off her; but knew that was something that wasn't possible. Dumping some shampoo into his hand; he washed her hair for her. He led her out after they both rinsed off; then took a towel and carefully dried her off. "Are you hungry or tired Lauren?" He asked her as he toweled off her hair.
"I'm so tired…" Lauren started to say when she just passed out in Dean's arms. He yelled to Roman and Seth for help. The three of them managed to get her comfortably in bed.
"Dean; she should probably see a doctor, who knows what happened to her while she was missing." Roman said. Seth quickly agreeing as the men headed for the main room.
"I'm not sure what happened to her; when I got to her; it was like she was catatonic. She was just staring in front of her; holding a blanket for dear-life. When I finally got her to talk to me; it was like she was back when we were young. She said that Anton had been mad at her lately and she didn't want to stay there anymore. Anton was Lauren and my mother's pimp; the first night we had dinner she told me some drug cartel had killed him. She thinks she's seen him and he's alive. Now just passing out like that; I can't tell if she really is just exhausted or if he drugged her, he better not have tortured her!" Dean ran his hands through his head. There was a knock on the door; Seth got up to answer it and saw Lorenzo and his guys standing there. Seth let them all in.
"How is Lauren?" Lorenzo asked Dean.
"She's in bad shape; it's like she's stuck in the past. Then she was telling me she was tired and passed out. We're thinking she should see a doctor." Dean replied.
"Already one step ahead of you; I brought my personal doctor with me, I figured she might feel more overwhelmed in a hospital. It seemed to me she might have been drugged with something. Can he go take a look at her?" Lorenzo asked. Dean nodded yes and directed the doctor to the bedroom; however Dean followed him in, not wanting to leave Lauren alone with another man she didn't know.
"Well; I don't believe she was drugged; I believe that she is more likely having symptoms of PTSD. You said she seemed to think she was back when you were teenagers; correct?" Dean nodded. "And that period of time for her was traumatic for her?" The doctor asked.
"Yes very, she was basically forced to be a prostitute. The pimp was a very violent guy; she was too scared to get him angry. If this is PTSD; how long could she be like this?" Dean asked concerned.
"I can't really say for sure; certainly it will help if she is someplace she knows is safe and around people she knows. I would encourage her to speak with a counselor about what occurred the last day or so and also when she was younger. Stress could trigger another episode; so if she can stay relaxed it's a good idea. I'm certain that she passed out this evening because of exhaustion and dehydration; so I'm going to start her an IV of fluids and be back in the morning to check on her. Don't be surprised if she seems clingy. There is no reason when she wakes up that she can't eat if she's hungry; in fact I would at least encourage her to eat something small if she isn't up to a full meal. Look; this could take some time for her to get over, patience is what she will need the most of. I'll be back in the morning gentleman. Just let her rest." The doctor smiled and got the IV started and left the group of men.
