Chapter 19: Shadows of a Hopeless Future

"Natsu! Wait!" Lucy grabbed onto his hand as they suddenly entered the appetizing room, that was filled to the brim with all different types of food.
"We hit the jackpot, Happy!" Natsu cheered.
"Aye Sir!"
As Natsu and Happy began to chow down on the food, Lucy looked around a little worried. They have just escaped their imprisonment but, they haven't seen one sign of anyone after them?
"Come on, Lucy!" She looked down at Natsu. "Have some! It's delicious!"
"Um..No I'm fine.."
Happy joined in, "You are huge, after all, Lucy."
"Shut up, you cat!"
A clattering sound as some food fell off a pile in the corner, alerted her to knowing they weren't alone. Lucy looked back over to Natsu and Happy, who happily munched on the food, unaware of anything going on around them.
"Natsu, I really think we should hurry and find the exit soon. Who knows when they'll finally find us." Lucy said watching their surroundings carefully.
"They'll never find us in here. What are you talking about, Lucy?" Natsu looked at her with a curious expression.
"I'm saying we should leave now!" She yelled out, just when something very heavy and huge appeared behind them.
The trio stood there in shock and after a while pointed up at the newcomer. "A..A D-Dragon!?"
The great red fire breathing dragon that stood before them, roared, creating the room to shake. "Why is there a dragon?"
"No matter what or who stands in my way, they're going down!" Natsu cheered.
"Aye sir! Natsu is a dragon slayer, he can defeat this dragon with no problem." Happy proudly said.
"That's not the problem here!" Lucy yelled at him. "And Natsu wait!"
Natsu grinned, ignoring all of Lucy's warnings. "You know you really shouldn't have attacked after I ate. Cause...now I'm all fired up!" Just as he pulled back his arm, ready to give the dragon a fiery punch, he then realized why Lucy had been yelling at him.
"Uh...Plan B: Run!" Natsu grabbed Lucy's uninjured hand and ran towards the exit, with Happy following them, that is...if they could only remember where the exit to the room really was.
Currently they now hid behind one of the huge food piles. "Idiot Natsu!" Lucy harshly whispered to him. "How could you forgot about that bracelet!"
"It's not my fault I'm so used to using my power!" Natsu whispered sharply back to her, as he struggled with the bracelet. "Oi Happy, help me with this."
"Aye." Happy started to help Natsu get the bracelet off, but it was no use.
"What are we going to do now?...Without Dragon Slayer magic..." Lucy began, just as Natsu stood up. "Natsu?" She glance quickly at the dragon. "Sit down or we'll be seen!"
Natsu didn't listen to her as he looked around with a confused expression. "I hear something..."
"Are you sure it's not the dragon?!" Lucy harshly whispered to him, afraid that the dragon has already found them.
"No, it's faint but...it's coming closer." Just as he said that, a explosion appeared overhead, alerting even the huge dragon to the newcomers.
The trio's expressions lit up at the arrival of some very familiar people.
"Erza! Gray!" Happy called out.
The two of them looked back. "Natsu? Lucy? Happy?" Gray said surprised. "What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be locked up someplace...?"
"We escaped but..." Lucy looked over at Natsu.
"...Natsu can't use his powers." Happy finished her sentence.
"Huh? You mean the 'fearless' flame dragon slayer, Natsu Dragneel can't use magic?" Gray taunted.
"I'll show you who can't use magic, you ice box!" Natsu pounded his fist into his other hand, glaring at Gray.
"Why do you guys have to fight now!" Lucy yelled at them from the background.
Gray grinned at the challenge, preparing his own attack. "Who are you calling an ice box, you-"
"Knock it off! We're in the middle of a serious situation here. We can't be fighting amongst ourselves and getting injured because of it. We're a team not enemies." Erza stated, sparkles surrounding her.
As the other team members just stared at her. "Wow! Erza just said something important for once." Happy cried out.
"Shut it, cat." Erza menacingly said.
Happy floated away on his wings. "Aye..."
"By the way...aren't we suppose to be fighting now?" Lucy asked, just as a huge roar echoed throughout the entire room, shaking the whole room.
"What is that?" Gray asked suddenly, looking around.
Erza stared straight on in one direction. "A dragon?" Even if her expression was serious, all the others could tell she was just as surprised as they were.
"It just appeared earlier and we tried finding the exit, since we're in no condition to fight, but we couldn't find it." Lucy explained.
"I see..." Erza gazed everywhere in the room, also searching for the supposed exit. She then cautiously watched the dragon every moves. "The only entrance and exit seem to be where me and Gray fell through. So then why..."
"You want to know why?" A voice called out. The group looked around searching for the source of the voice. "We're up here, idiots!"
"Idiots, idiots, hehehehehe!"
They then looked up at the dragon's head to come face to face with the Jasdevi brothers. "You've figured out, huh? There is no exit. So if you want out, then just try."
"Hehehehe!"
"Or..." Devit narrowed his eyes. "You can just give us back the dragon slayer and we'll let you go free."
"Never! Fairy Tail will never abandon its friends/family or members!" Erza yelled out.
Jasdero laughed. "Hehehehe! She said 'never'!"
"We will see about that." Devit said, as they both raised their golden guns.
"I don't care about the Earl's preference. Everyone has a dream and a wish they want to achieve one day. And no one can take that away!"
Tyki's grin slightly widen. "You don't care, huh? Well...you want to know what 'our' dream is.." He grabbed Allen and pulled him closer, menacingly. "...to rid this world of all the dreadful humans and the nosy exorcists."
With the strength he had left, Allen pulled away and swung Crown Clown at him, Tyki avoided it. Allen was out of breath by this time and he could feel exhaustion overtake him. "But...that's 'their' dream...so what about your dream, Tyki Mikk?"
"Dream?" Tyki began to laugh. "I've might have had a dream a long time ago, but now I've only got one purpose..." He slowly began to approach him, the grin from earlier turning into a solemn smile. "...to be a Noah who the Earl trusts with his life."
The only thing running through Allen's mind...'What did he mean by that?'
"Ugh...Where am-!" Blue/gray eyes opened up to a very familiar sight, one that shouldn't even be happening now. "What?! It can't be?!"
Right now, Laxus currently stood in the Fairy Tail Guild, the reason was unknown to him. He could see everyone having fun as always. He became confused. 'Why am I here? Wasn't I in the middle of...'
"You trust your guild members very much, don't you?" A teasing voice echoed around him.
"What? Who's there?!" He knew this was all a vision, he wasn't a idiot. "Show yourself!"
"My, my, aren't we impatient?" A young girl, probably around the age of 13, appeared in front of him. "Your never gonna be liked by girls, if you keep acting like that."
"Are you one of the Noahs?" Laxus asked, not caring about her little comments.
She giggled. "Yes, I'm Road Kamelot the Noah of Dreams. And let's just say...your future is very much hopeless."
"What do you mean?"
Road just grinned. "You'll see..."
"Let me out, you Noah!" Kanda yelled out, swinging Mugen around. He was currently stuck in a pretend Black Order.
"Oh, so you don't like it here." Road teased him. "Sorry, you want be going anywhere for a while."
"Why not?!"
Road laughed. "You think I'm just going to let me enemies go free without at least one injury." She snapped her fingers. "I've been getting bored and it looks like you both will be such fun."
All the the Black Order/Fairy Tail members became zombie looking people.
"Have fun~!" She cheerily said, vanishing into thin air.
A/N:Hoped you enjoyed! Sorry if there are any mistakes and any OOC characters. For the people who saw the preview of this chapter, just a few minutes ago, right after seeing the trailer for Fairy Tail x Rave Master Crossover and finding out it comes out today, I suddenly got inspiration to write the rest of this chapter...So basically I just wrote the rest of this chapter right now. Though I'm very excited to see Fairy Tail x Rave Master Crossover, I was Rave Master fan before I ever found out about Fairy Tail or even D. Gray Man. And Rave Master was one of the very few animes I saw on T.V., of course in dub. I've even read most...of the the manga and do know the ending of it. So I just can't wait! I'm just super excited right now! Now all we need is for D. Gray Man to come back...

Fun Fact: The first scene was actually planned to be where they encounter most of the Noah family in the place where they usually have Noah family meetings. (The dining room area place...with the table..). But...I found out it was better to have it this way. Guess who the dragon is...
Fun Fact 2:
The part where Natsu stands up. I had originally planned Lucy to stand up and use Gemini on the dragon...(I had even gone to research everything about the Gemini key.)...Though I figured out it wouldn't work since..1. Lucy hand is injured and 2. She doesn't have her keys right now...which I don't think I ever mentioned...
