"Keep a hot heart and a cool head, think before you act.. and never give up!"
-Tatsuya Himuro,
Chapter 76, Kuroko no Basket.
Darkness...Despair...A Hopeless Dream...
A light out of the darkness...a faint hope of happiness...only to be crumbled into ashes before her very eyes. There is no hope...no dreams that will ever come true now...not ever as everything she had ever wished for...is gone.
Shock running throughout his entire senses as the blood thirsty gaze struck him, that gaze coming from someone who he thought was always caring. Taking a step forward, he was brought back to reality, realizing that it was true, Lenalee wasn't herself anymore.
"It's all your fault...Everything is your fault, Lavi!" Lenalee yelled at him.
However all he could get out was a short reply. "...Lenalee...!" He couldn't imagined what had happened to her, all he knew is that Bookman's predictions had come true or else she wouldn't be attacking him right now, cause the Lenalee he knew would never do that to a precious companion.
He could see the faint tears she held for her comrades but all her hate was pointed towards him, with no remorse. What did she see? Where did her memories go wrong? Why...is she so cold now?
"Lenalee, listen you are not yourself. Whatever you saw isn't real, it isn't what really happened!"
"Shut up!" She clenched her hands into fists, that is when he noticed she was already wearing her Dark Boots. "I know what I saw! Why Lavi? Why did you have to do it?"
Lavi begin to quietly reach for his hammer, just in case she attacked. Though if he could, he would like to resolve this without fighting. However he doubts she'll actually give him that chance. "See what?"
"Don't play dumb!" Her whole expression was filled with rage toward him. "You...You trick us! No...You betrayed us! You betrayed our trust in you...! How-How could you do such a thing?!"The tears she had been holding back now began to fall. He could see everything she was feeling at that very moment, it was plain as day on her pale face. The betrayal, the hurt, the confusion, the anger she all felt right now was clear to him. But whatever she was claiming had happened, Lavi knew for a fact never happened.
Bookman was right, time is becoming distorted.
"Lenalee is gone!" Wendy announced to the large group.
Upon hearing the news, Koumi ran off towards the room. "Lenalee!"
Everyone became worried and followed him. Bookman lingered for a bit, a feeling of dread pass over him. "Lavi...I hope you know what your doing."
A/N:Hoped you enjoyed! Sorry if there are any mistakes and any OOC characters. I apologize for the delay in updating. I've been super busy with school and it seems like I have a test or a quiz every single day. Or really I'm just too lazy...(mostly been too busy looking everything about Brothers Conflict and too excited for all the new music coming out and Kuroko no Basket season 2 coming out in two days...fav. character Tetsuya Himuro!...)*Awkward cough* Anyway...I just wrote this whole preview...a day ago?...something like that...I did have this awesome idea for the Tyki vs. Allen scene...but I totally forgot it. Now I'm thinking of doing something different where the battle is delayed...maybe...
I really can't think of how to continue after this small scene. I want to do Tyki vs. Allen scene but, I forgot what I was going to write for it. I hate when I get this inspiration then the next day I get major writer's block. (..really from being too lazy and tried to do anything...) If anyone wants to give me some theories of what they think should happen or what they think might happen later in the story, I would appreciate. I won't exactly use your ideas, especially if you really don't want me to, but it might give me some inspiration to write the rest of the story. ( I might even remember what that great idea I had was...)
Thanks to everyone who has reviewed and followed. And everyone else who is still reading. Read and Review Please! And have a great day! :)
(For the Lavi x Lenalee fans, who are still waiting for that oneshot I mentioned. I've probably been working on it for at least...three months now? I am at the end of it, but I'm just having slight trouble writing the ending. So keep a look out for it in the next few weeks. I'm hoping to have it up before the end of this month. Of course, I could give a slight...slight preview...)
Preview to 'Crystal Memory'- Lavi x Lenalee oneshot fanfic:
'Why is everything so blurry? Why do I always see those mesmerizing violet eyes and nothing else? Were they important somehow or...is my imagination just running away with me again?'
Staring up the snowy sky wasn't going to solve any of his questions, no matter how long he stared. Sighing, the long red haired young man snuggled into the soft scarf around his neck, protecting him from the cold.
His name? Well he lost that long ago, not that it matter much when nobody knew the real him, even he didn't know himself. Who was he in this world? Well maybe one day he'll figure it out. But for now he is a nobody, a person who never gets involved and stood there as the world changed day by day, as he stayed the same.
However...was that true? Did he ever really stay the same? Humans changed constantly, always learning new things and growing up without a care. He learned new things while on his travels but...was it the same?
….A coincidence... "Why do I have such bad luck in my life? Is it just a coincidence...Am I not important?"
….Tears flowed down porcelain cheeks. "That's not true! Y-You're still important to me!"
"Then why did you hesitant?!" He could feel his eyes tear up. "..When you were with me?..."
Violet eyes widen in shock. Heartbreak clear in both their eyes. "I...I..."
"Goodbye." Walking away...a single tear shatters on the floor.
"La...please don't go..." Cries fill the now lonely hallway.
