[WIP] Gen fic, no slash: Shortly after coming to Camelot, physician's apprentice Merlin learns that Prince Arthur is suffering from a mysterious ailment nobody is willing to talk about. The Prince keeps to his chambers and is in danger of losing his status as heir apparent to the throne. When Merlin finally comes face to face with him, the Prince and he do not exactly hit it off.

(Sequel to my story Arthur (Pendragon?)) In an effort to keep his promise and end his war against magic, Uther invites a delegation of druids to Camelot. But someone doesn't want peace and Arthur will soon see how bad the future could be without it.

Arthur gets told a prophecy that sends him on a quest to find the same mysterious sorcerer. Merlin gets caught in the middle. And, even as Arthur rises to the throne, a new threat looms from across the sea. One thing's for certain- destiny is not always set in stone.

Occasionally Merlin and Arthur find time for themselves to just relax and enjoy each other’s company. It may have started as Arthur leaning on Merlin while he helped him walk while he was drunk, but it didn’t stay that way…. (Uther, Gaius and the knights ships Merthur and so should everyone else)
