Yesterday was my birthday! Yay I'm finally 14! :D Anyways, here's the update! Any knew names are just some of my friends or schoolmates. Hope you guys like it!

It was my graduation of middle school. All 8th graders were to wear formal clothes and we would have a graduation dinner and then a dance.

After the graduation ceremony, my dad kept on forcing me to take pictures. I hate pictures and he knew it. He kept on teasing me by telling me to take pictures and I just bursted.

How I hated him then.

I went to the common area and found my friends. I explained to them how annoying my dad was being and started fuming.

"Aye, all parents are like that." They patted me on the back.

I sat down on the couch in front of the principle's office with Sumire.

Yoakim came to us and told us he was leaving. I was so sad and surprised. Though he's a pervert (really no offense), he's really nice and still a friend to me.

Sumire asked him to play the guitar while she sang. Yoakim asked me for a coin since his fingers hurt from strumming.

Natsume came a few minutes later and sat down with us and played his guitar as well.

Yoakim left to find his other friends while Natsume sat next to Sumire and played his guitar as Sumire sang.

I stood in front of them, not daring to sit in case he felt uncomfortable. I nodded to the beat and smiled.

Later, Natsume left and Sumire and I followed him to the group of girls, plus Harry, a gay friend of ours. (Not a joke. He really is gay.)

We all asked for Natsume to play the guitar while we sang along.

I was standing for the first song or so but then a girl that was sitting next to him left so I sat on that chair.

He found chords for songs on the internet and I helped him scroll while he played, since both his hands were busy.

I felt him watching me as I sang, I don't know why though. I tried to pretend that I didn't notice and continued to sing.

When we finished the song, we asked him to play more and the songs we chose were ridiculous for guitar to play so he gave up and gave me his guitar.

"Why don't you guys just get a piano? Here, take it." He pushed his guitar on me forcefull and then he left to play with the guys on the field.

I didn't know what to do with his guitar, but I guess it was a good sign that he trusted me with his guitar. From numerous occasions, I could tell he really liked his guitar.

Yoakim came a few minutes later and asked if we could switch guitars. I didn't really care so I let him.

After Yoakim played around with Natsume's guitar, he handed it back.

Natsume came back a few minutes later.

I played a few simple notes on the guitar.

"You can play the guitar!?" Sachiko, who left with Sumire somewhere, came back and exclaimed.

I shook my head. "No, but it's kinda similar to violin so I can play a few notes."

Natsume took the guitar and then stuffed it on my should.

"Play it like a violin then." He teased and I laughed, pushing the guitar away.

Doris, one of my friends, came in and told me that my parents were looking for me.

I groaned and went to see them. I ate dinner with them.

My mom said she thought Natsume and Sachiko were dating since she's with him 24/7 and even eating graduation dinner with him because her family couldn't make it.

I was super jealous.

I told my mom she was dating Mochu but it doesn't really look like it.

After dinner, was the dance. Many people were trying to find someone to dance with since it's the last dance of middle school. I did too.

I went to dance with Kitsume first.

It was pretty awkward because at first he bent his back because I'm at least a head and a half shorter than him.

I slapped him lightly on the arm and told him not to be so mean.

He laughed and then straightened up.

I put my hands lightly on his shoulders and he did the same on my waist though we were arms length away. We aren't really that close.

We moved side to side slowly to the slow song. Just a few simple steps, nothing like those couples who have a really sweet aura around them.

Afterwards, I kept asking Maxwell, a nice boy, to dance but there wasn't a slow song or it already ended each time I asked him.

Finally we got to dance together.

I don't like him or anything, but I just want to dance with someone.

I was surprised when he literally hugged me and danced with me the way couples would. I was used to hold my partner at arms length.

All my friends and Natsume were cheering and making us hold each other tighter.

I think I embarrassed myself because I was screaming at them right in his ear.

I think he kinda went deaf... It was still quite a nice night though.

I wish I danced with Natsume though, that's still a goal for me.

Maybe next year at a high school prom.

The last day of school was a few days later.

Next year I'm going to be in high school! I feel so nervous!

We had this paper where we had to get all our teachers signature to prove that we turned in all our textbooks and other things that we checked out from the deadline.

It was the deadline to turn that sheet in and I forgot it at home.

These past days we got free time in all our classes so that we could go around and get our friends to sign our yearbooks.

I took this chance and ran around the school in record time to get the signatures. I turned the form in just in time for advisory.

Sumire's advisory was next to ours (which is in the gym) and when it was almost time for school to end, she suddenly got emotional and started crying.

She said that she wasn't leaving or anything, so she didn't understand why she was crying.

Watching her cry also got me a little emotional.

My goal was to hug all my friends so I hugged all my girl friends and hugged a few boys as well.

I was looking for Natsume the whole day because I wanted to hug him this year. I failed the previous years in hugging him because he would reject me each time. I hope this time he would let me.

When we went downstairs to the common area, I saw Natsume sitting against a pillar and I asked him for a hug.

He hesitated for a second before standing up and hugged me.

It was short, and I would have daydreamed for a little while if it wasn't for Sumire next to me.

"You promised you would give me a hug later. You wanna hug now, or maybe we could hug twice?" She asked innocently. Ugh, sometimes I wonder if she does that on purpose.

We saw all our friends bunched up in a group outside, crying.

Aoi, Virginia and Sachiko was leaving.

I hugged all of them so much and I couldn't control it anymore. I cried so hard.

I went to Kitsume and hugged him twice, once after P.E class, (he was all sweaty and gross) and the second when I was crying like hell.

"Are you leaving?" He asked, seeing my tears.

"No." I sniffed while wiping my tears.

"Then why are you crying?"

"So many people are leaving." I forgot if I asked him for a hug or if we just hugged.

It was nice to have someone to hug when I'm sad.

I went to Mochu as well for a hug but he was so sad himself since is girlfriend, Sachiko, is leaving. He rejected my hug.

Sachiko came and I gave her a huge hug.

She and Mochu exchanged letters and they both started crying when reading it.

I asked Mochu for another hug and he finally gave me one. I was surprised because he hugged me pretty hard, unlike most boys who would give awkward hugs.

I guess he wanted someone to comfort him as well.

We stayed like that crying for a pretty long time until all the buses started leaving. I was going to Hotaru's house so we headed for her bus.

I went to Natsume and asked him for another hug.

He said if he gave me a hug he would definitely break down. He was hiding his eyes and trying to stay calm but I knew he was crying when we all weren't looking.

I begged him and he finally hugged me. It was quite a long hug too.

Nono went up to him.

"Because hugging is too main stream, I'mma give you a handshake instead." He chuckled a little and shook her hand. Then we left for her house.

When I went to her house, I realized I dropped 100 RMB and I forgot my wallet. What's up with me that day?

We still had fun though.
