Sorry this is short! I don't really have anything to write about anymore so...
It was Aoi's birthday party the day after the graduation, and also the last time I would see her before she went to Kyoto.
We were going swimming.
Yoakim, Kitsume, Sumire, Jennifer, Shota and Sachiko were all invited there.
We were doing truth and dare at first and we kept daring each other to kiss Yoakim on the cheek. There wasn't much else we could do since not everyone was there yet at the beginning.
He refused all of us though, and it hurt our ego. Sumire and I glared at him and started cursing him under our breath saying he wasn't even good enough and what not.
Once everyone arrived, we ate pizza for lunch and then went to Aoi's house.
As we walked to her house, I realized that I forgot my bag at the restaurant. Me and my bad carelessness... I told my friends and turned around to go back and get it but Yoakim told me to go with the others and he would help me get the bag.
I was confused but I nodded dumbly and followed the group.
When he came back, he was pretty wet since it was starting to rain.
"Oh my god, thanks so much!" I exclaimed as I went to pickup my bag.
"How would you repay me?" He smirked playfully so and I gave him a big hug. He kept hugging me today...Odd.
We made lots of water balloons but they ran out pretty quick. We spent almost an hour (it felt like it) in her kitchen trying to fill up the balloons. It was really messy as we threw the balloons clumsily at each other.
After the balloon fight, we went swimming and it was and out door swimming pool in winter so it was FREEZING.
Kitsume's skin went red and he started shivering from the cold. He and Sumire were so sweet and started kissing underwater. If only it wasn't so cold...
I was so cold Jennifer and I started 'koala'-ing each other. It was a term I used to use because I was small and I liked to act like a koala and cling to other people.
I went to Kitsume and asked if I could 'koala' him. It was basically hugging but I wrapped my legs around him.
I guess it's a kind of flirting, but I'm not an expert in these. Perhaps I think of it as a small revenge to Permy.
Jennifer also wanted to koala (she like to flirt) and Sumire got angry.
"Hey that's my boyfriend! Don't koala him! Kitsume, how could you let them?" She screeched angrily at us.
I got down quickly.
"It's because he's your boyfriend we can do that. If he was single, then they would think I have a crush on him." I reasoned. I'm such a quick thinker.
Jennifer nodded along.
"Thats true." She agreed.
I then went to Yoakim and did that too.
He also put me on his shoulders and lifted me up.
It was fun but I was the one who had to leave early.
I gave everyone a hug especially Aoi, Sutheera and Yoakim because they were leaving.
Kitsume joked and said he was leaving too.
"Seriously!?" I gawked at him and started to tear up. Half of me didn't believe him because I was sure he said he wasn't leaving, but what if it was true?
"No." He laughed and smiled at me. I smiled back and asked him to give me another hug which he either gladly gave me or reluctantly, I wasn't sure.
Summer had already passed, nothing much happened except for the fact that I didn't have my computer the WHOLE TIME.
Screw my school.
It's already the second full week of high school. I still can't believe I'm in 9th grade already. Gosh I'm old.
Last Saturday I had an early birthday party.
I invited Hotaru, Nono and my old best friend who changed schools about 4 years ago, Chikako.
I gave invitations to Kitsume, Mochu and Natsume too, but all of them said they couldn't come.
Natsume and Mochu didn't give me a reason and I didn't ask either but Kitsume was really honest and said he's not coming because he doesn't want to, and that he's not gonna buy me a present either.
I never knew he could be so annoying until that day.
They really didn't show up in the end.
We went pottery painting and I'm glad it was indoor because there was a storm halfway when we were painting.
There was a lightning bolt that struck like 2 meters away from our little gallery room.
After the pottery painting, we went to watch How to Train Your Dragon 2 in 3D with two of our friends, Alvin and Tim.
Nono and Tim really looked like a couple!
Ever since I gave the invitation to Natsume, he seems to talk to me more often.
He asked me about the party, homework and it seems like we're getting a little closer.
Even after the party he continued to talk to me.
Once in Photography class, I went to go to the bathroom. I walked out the classroom and saw Natsume walking past.
I was planning on ignoring him or else he might think I like him again but to my surprise he actually greeted me!
He asked me how the party was and I think I blushed because my face felt quite hot and I was fidgeting a lot.
I whispered an answer to him and he couldn't hear me so I had to repeat it a few times. I wish I would just have said my answer loudly so he would leave me alone.
Today, he asked me about the math quiz and Skype called me. I taught him everything he wanted to know with a lot of patience.
"Ok, I don't think I have anymore questions..." He said awkwardly.
I took the hint
"Ok then...um...see ya." I was thinking that he would hang up on me instantly but to my surprise he stopped me.
"Wait, wait! Are you hanging up on me!?" He said quickly.
I was so surprised.
"Eh? Uh...no...um...what?" I stuttered dumbly.
We spent like an hour talking.
He also called me a friend a few times as well.
I'm not sure if it's just to get me to help him but I'm glad we're friends again.
We're definitely getting closer again.
It feels like old times again. It's not much but at least I'm making progress.
I haven't updated for a while and once I update I write a super short chapter. I'm so sorry! I'm thinking of just ending my story here, because I don't think anything worth writing about will come anytime soon. Natsume has stopped talking to me and now we practically have zero contact other than we make eye contact sometimes...
Tell me your suggestions. Should I stop here? Continue? Put it as 'complete' for now, and then update when I have other news?
